Why the PI Objects can't be renamed ?

Hi,
I am curious to know as to why the ESR or ID objects which we create, like data type, message type, mapping object etc., can't be renamed . Please let me know.

A URN (Uniform Resource Name) is an Internet resource with a name that, unlike a URL, has persistent significance - that is, the owner of the URN can expect that someone else (or a program) will always be able to find the resource. A frequent problem in using the Web is that Web content is sometimes moved to a new site or a new page on the same site. Since links are made using Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), they no longer work when content is moved.
A URN looks something like a URL. For example, here's a hypothetical URN:
urn:def://blue_laser
In IR and ID all object name is basically an URN, thus by defination to make it persistent no renaming is allowed.

The Apple store is correct. The warranty is not international, and Apple will not accept or return iPhones shipped from a different country. You need to ship the phone to somebody in Hong Kong who can take it in to Apple for repair, or pay a third party repair shop in the Philippines to fix it.

          I'm sorry for not providing you the document.In fact all the documents I ever saw
          say that the local object can't be clustered in WLS6.1 .But I really test a situation
          that can be clustered.I was also every puzzled.The situation is depicted as followed.But
          the situation can only implement the load balance while the Fail-over failed.

Why the 2LIS_08TRTK and 2LIS_08TRTLP extractors can not get all data. I had used the RSA3 and get 10 registers, when a check at the VTTK table I had 20 registers, I didnt use filters at RSA3, could you help to know what happen o correct it.

When i try interfacing TestStand with labView 7.1,the Acrivex Automation open is throwing the error mentioned above.
The object its refering is "Sequence Context" of Test Stand.I could set other properties of TestStand from LabView 7.1 FDS,
only if this object is created .Why is it do?.

Hi Jeyaseelan,
To load your steps limits from a LabVIEW VI, I would recommend taking the following steps:
1) Start from TestStand, and create a new "Action" step type named something like "Load Limits". Right click on the newly created step and select "Specify Module", then "Create VI".
2) Within your VI, load test limits from a file format of your choosing (ASCII should be the simplest). The Read From Spreadsheet File subVI should work great for this.
3) Next, you need to look up specific steps in your sequence and programatically change the limits. Right click on the Sequence Context input to your VI, and select Create >> Property >> Sequence. On the "Sequence" output of that property node, right click once again and select Create >> Method >> Get Step by Name. Enter the appropriate step name and group.
4) Finally, right click on the "step" output of the previous invoke node, and select Create >> Method >> AsPropertyObject. Right click on the property object, and click Create >> Method >> SetValNumber. For the lookup string parameter, enter "limits.low" or "limits.high". The options should be set to 0, and the newvalue input should contain your limit value (obtained from text file).
After this, you can definitely customize the VI to meet your needs. For example, you could automatically go through every step in your sequence and detect which ones are numeric limit tests, then set the limits of those tests using data from a text file.

    In main program you have dclared subscreen area.
now First of all you have to declare a selection screen in your main program
selection-screen begin of screen 1005 as subscreen.
SELECT-OPTIONS s_bukrs1 for v_bukrs.   "whatever you want in selection screen
selection-screen end of screen 1005.
IN PBO of your main screen (not in 1005) write
call subscreen SUB1 including sy-repid '1005'.
where SUB1 is your subscreen area name. And remember don't touch PBO or PAI of your 1005 screen, otherwise it will give you error. Yuo can just put text in layout of 1005 screen. but don't disturb other things.

Why the distant objects are not shown ?

The distant objects are not shown unless moving the view closer to them in Java3D .
How to change or set to show the distant objects without moving the view ?
Anyone on any information or advice would be helpful.

When you are creating the View Object do something like this:

so to get your objects in the distance to render at a greater distance from them, then just increase the BACK_CLIP_DISTANCE to 1000 or something like that
NOTE: the larger the BACK_CLIP_DISTANCE, the longer and slower it will take to render you scene each frame. YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS (in CPU time)

Why the ScrollDemo sample can not be debugged in Eclipse?

Hi, All,
I am an newer of the Swing/JFC. When I debugged the ScrollDemo in Eclipse 3.0.2, it always reported an exception at setRowHeaderView(...). But it could run perfectly. So I am confused. Who can tell me whether it is a bug of Eclipse or a bug of the ScrollDemo sample?

What is the video converted from? And what format is it converted to?
Premiere Elements is technically not a conversion program. It's a video editor. But if you can tell us what type of camcorder your original video came from and what specs you output, that would be helpful.
It also might help to know which version of Premiere Elements you're using.

Why the pages 09 can't display the tool bar when I use the full vision?

I have found that the numbers and the keynote always show the tool bar on the top, but pages can not,when I use the full screen.

Contrary to mende1's experience, I do not see the Toolbar in Fullscreen mode, even when accessing the Menu and Format lines by moving the cursor to the top of the screen.
I guess that the designers figured that you may not want the toolbar to come down in what is a minimalist mode. A design choice that you can object to, if you wish, by submitting Feedback from the Pages menu.

Why the adobe reader can not show Chinese word

i am using WinXP SP2, CFMX7 version 7.0.1, MySQL and the
latest version of report builder.
i wish to do a report which can show chinese word and english
word as well. However, the report can only show english and the
report will replace '?' in every chinese character. Why and how to
solve it?
The CF can insert chinese charater into DB.

Why the two objects are not add by java

like below
Integer i1=new Integer(5);
Integer i2=new Integer(5);
System.out.println(i1+i2);
if i run this program out put is 10
but
Object o1=new Object();
Object o2=new Object();
System.out.println(o1+o2);
gives compilation error.
plz help me to solve this doubt

Assuming this is not an April Fools Day joke,
then the serious answer is: what does it MEAN to add two arbitrary objects?
Intuitive answer:
If all you told Java is that o1 is an Object and o2 is an Object,
how would Java know what to do with them?
Are them numbers? Are they lists? Are they graphical icons? What?
Technical answer:
The + operator requires numbers or Strings.
And Java's auto-unboxing only works for primitive types.
So only String, Float, Double, Integer, Short... will work.
Object will not work.

Why the Blank DVD can not be found in Super Drive?

With my new Mac Book Pro which I created severeal DVDs in past month, all of a sudden I have problem. In Both DVD Studio Pro and iDVD I can not burn the final video which is 35 minutes. Each time I attempt to burn my project, the disk is ejected with a message asking me to insert an acceptable disk because it couldn't find the blank DVD. I have used different brands and still no luck. I tested my hard drive with *TechTool Deluxe* and also the Mac Book Pro's 1st dick of installation and in both cases everything was fine and passes the test. I've updated all of my soft ware as well.
Would you please kindly share your knowlege to solve this problem.

Thank you for your time. I have tried Verbatim(Digital Movie DVD-R) which I used before with my Mac Book Pro and also apple DVD-R. Yes I can see my own burned DVDs and also all commercial one in my drive.
Any suggestions
