Why won't my divs stay fixed in Chrome after using adobe edge?

Hi, Can someone help me with an Edge problem? I'm using:

to animate a div by scrolling and then using:
sym.$("Symbol_1").css("position", "fixed"):
to keep the animated div fixed. It stays fixed perfectly in Firefox but it doesn't stay fixed in Chrome although the animation works. Also, any page that I've created in Dreamweaver with a fixed div fails to stay fixed in Chrome after bringing it into Edge and then publishing it. Does anyone know about this? Thanks.

I had to play with what you gave me a little and removed the "#" from symbol and added "sym." to the "$" in two places ending up with this:
sym.$("body").append(sym.$("Symbol_1").css({"position":"fixed"}));

Anyway... The issues appear for many to be related to a specific Airport card type & firmware version.
I've had constant disconnect problems with my Mini since upgrading to Lion.
My Airport card specs are:
Card Type:                              AirPort Extreme (0x168C, 0x86)
Firmware Version:                    Atheros 5424: 2.1.14.9
Connecting to my Time Capsule distributing on:
          PHY Mode:          802.11a
The Atheros firmware version appears to be the issue depending on certain wifi network conditions.
After some playing about today I think I've managed to force my Mini to connect on a better frequency, without having to roll back the firmware to the Snow Leopard version or mess with the Mini Airport card settings (via Terminal) by changing some settings in my router (Time Capsule).
These are the changes I made:
Airport Utility > Wireless > Wireless Options
Set Radio Mode to 802.11 a/n - b/g instead of 802.11 a/n - b/g/n (Automatic)
Set 2.4 GHz Channel to 13 instead of Automatic
Set 5GHz Channel to 48 instead of Automatic
My Mini now connects on:
PHY Mode:          802.11g
Signal / Noise:          -64 dBm / -96 dBm
Transmit Rate:          54
instead of previously
PHY Mode:          802.11a
Signal / Noise: -73 dBm / -96 dBm
Transmit Rate: 36
This appears now to be stable (no drops in the last 4 hours). It's a low transmit rate still, but better than before.
The iMac is still connecting on
PHY Mode:          802.11n
Signal / Noise:          -69 dBm / -88 dBm
Transmit Rate:          216
and all is right with the world (hopefully for the long term)

I've restarted the phone and itunes several times, have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the phone and itunes separately, and it still just shows 'Installing" under the greyed out app.

I have the same problem with an iPhone 5s. All podcast fail to work on the phone since updating to iOS 8.1.3. What is going on? Is Apple taking this problem serious?

From the iPod's Main Menu choose Videos -> Settings and make sure TV Out is set to Off.
Otherwise, try a hard reset as well. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

I have the same issue. So frustrating! I think I found a fix. It's not perfect but it works to get Siri, google maps and phone calls working all at the same time which are the most important things to me. After you start the car, go to settings on uconnect. Scroll down to the bluetooth settings. There are 2 tabs here. 1 for voice and 1 for audio. I'm doing this from memory so someone call it out if I have that wrong. Each will say "connected" in red once your iphone automatically pairs to uconnect. In the audio tab, press on the name of your phone. This will disconnect only the audio portion and leave the voice portion connected. You can now use Siri through your car speakers! Calls will still work too. Google maps will also give directions.
This all works great until you turn off the car at which point the setting will be forgotten and will have to be repeated. It's important to keep in mind that if you now play music or a podcast off your iphone it will emanate from the phone's speaker, not your car speakers. This doesn't impact me as I'll usually be listening to sirius or fm radio when I'm driving anyway. Just like when you receive a call, siri will silence sirius until you're done with siri. Same with google maps.
What this tells me is if Apple or (less likely) Chrysler ever add an option to save your bluetooth device as a voice only and not a voice&audio bluetooth device that uconnect would finally be usable with siri. I guess this means we can be more specific in our requests to apple and chrysler to resolve this issue. Hope this helps!

Why "Export Error Codec Initialization Problem!" when I export using Adobe Media Encorder for FLV?

I get "Export Error - Codec Initialization Problem!" when I try to export a project using Adobe Media Encoder as a Macromeida Flash Video. Premiere Pro 2.0 goes through the rendering process but no file is created; just the Export Error message. What does this mean, and what do I need to do to export a project as a FLV file?

Sounds weird... You could try the standard fix for general unexplained behaviour in a document; export it to idml, open that, save as an Indesign file and try exporting again. If that doesn't work try a few different presets, like smallest file size. If that doesn't work try opening your image in Photoshop, resaving as a psd, placing that (delete your old one) and see if that helps. Obviously do this on a copy....

Try resetting network settings, under settings, general, reset, reset network settings. Basically it refreshes the connection between your phone and all wireless connections like wifi and cellular. Also try resetting your home modem/router to make sure that is a fresh connection as well.

Why won't my songs stay with their albums?

When I sync my personal CDs through the iphone store, to my nano 5th they don't stay in their albums. Each album has only one of the songs. The rest sort to the end of my albums in a category called unknown artists. Does anyone know how to fix this, or what I've done wrong. TIA

Why won't apple acknowledge and fix the IOS 5 update encryption bug?

When updating to IOS5 and saving a backup, if you intentionally do not encrypt the backup, the software will do it for you against your will without letting you know. The source for the assigned against your will and knowledge password for that backup isn't clear and many people never figure out what it is. Clearly a lot of people on line and multiple people I know have come across this bug in updating their IOS to version 5 and many have lost everything on their IPADs and IPhones. Losing one's backup of irreplaceable pictures and files etc.... is just a major loss and I spent hours on the phone with a service agent who verified it is a frequent problem but that there is no acknowledgement of it.
Why is this still happening and why isn't the bug fixed considering that it is so devastating for users who can't figure out the assigned password. It happened to me months ago, it happened to my brother 2 weeks ago and to the wife of an office mate of mine yesterday. Trying every password ever known to you doesn't always work.
I'm seriously for the first time in my entire 20 years of exclusively owning Apple computer products thinking about switching to an Android instead. Apple has failed me here and without effort to curb the problem with a fix, (this has been posted previously on this support community website by others for months now) it seems endemic of front door salesmanship without concern for the customer coming back for help with the product. Why won't BIOS vcore stay when in WinXP?

Ok, something I couldn't find here in the forums is driving me nuts. I am running a Neo2 Plat. with 1.41MOD Bios so that I can have +18.3% on the vcore. When I set this in BIOS CPU VID 1.550 and then Over VID 18.3% it loads in windows with a vcore of 1.5v???
How the heck to you correct this, so that what you set in BIOS stays??? Even if I save the settings and get right back into BIOS it changes the settings I just saved.

It's very simple.
The mod dosn't work . Only opening the 18% menu item isn't enough .
If you want more vcore your only option is to go back to an earlier bios .
