Why would flash only buffer for 5 seconds on espn following ads?
I'm having an issue with flash video playback on espn.com. Ads will play and the the video will buffer and play for only 5 seconds exactly. Sound and video are fine in the ad. This happens for me on chrome, firefox and safari. I uninstalled and reinstalled flash with no effect. Local storage setting are fine (and I tried clearing them as well. Other videos with ads play fine on other sites, it seems to be espn.com specifically. I'm running Yosemite 10.10 and flash NPAPI Plug-in version 16.0.0.257. Any thoughts? I need help!
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

account. I did the following two steps to correct the problem:
1. First uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX
control by following the instructions stated in
tn_14157.
2. Second Download SubInACL from Microsoft to fix permission
issues that prevent the Flash Player installation by following the
instructions stated in
fb1634cb.
Following the above two steps, fixed my problem of only
having Flash run on only one user account. Now it runs on all four
user accounts.
As a side note: The Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control
would not run in user accounts with Limited access. But when I set
the permission of the user account to administrative, then Flash
would work.

There are four flash only SDK examples we provide. They are
FlashSimpleChat, FlashUserList,FlashWebCamExample and ScreenShareFlashOnlyExample
You can get them all under the sampleApps folder of the downloaded SDK. Example like FlashUserList has fla file inside it.

A program from FiuneDeaalSuoft somehow appeared in my Firefox Add-0ns as of 2 days ago (08212014) according to Control Panel-Programs. I don't recognize it, but possibly I mistakenly clicked on an acceptance interface without realizing it. The ad re-directs which it caused were onerous and invasive. The re-directs first started appearing when I received a message advising me to update some other programs. I have a list of most of them. It seemed to start I went onto a Windows web page, for Windows Live Movie Maker,

I removed the FiuneDeaalSuoft program from Add-ons, but I still seem to be getting some pop-ups and re-directs. Looking in Control Panel, I see that the program name is slightly different: FuineDealSOfti from FineDealSofT. This program was extremely aggressive and persistent. In Control Panel, I see other programs which I am also concerned about. IDT Audio from IDT has been on my computer a while, but I can't remember much about it. Pinger from Pinger, Inc. shows that it was installed in Dec. 2013 before I bought the computer. WidgetServ 1.0 from Softomate, LLC. is through Firefox. WinSpeed from 24soft installed in April 2014 is another program which I don't know much about. Can anyone offer further analysis and review or comment of any of these programs, please, with advice as to whether you have found them useful or problematic?
The software from FiuneDeaalSuoft will be uninstalled from Control Panel since I am convinced that it is very invasive and a lot of trouble. An Install Manager from dwnllistsoft.com was part of the pathway. Why would the finder quit for 1 or 2 seconds every few minutes?
Only since installing ML.
Go to the Go menu, hold the Option key, and select the Library item that appears. Then go to the Preferences folder in here and remove the file called com.apple.Finder.plist, followed by logging out and back in to your account. Hopefully this will help the situation.

I use the myDAQ to measure speed, ampere, and voltage of a battery driven motor. (For Current measurement, i use a Sensor which outputs a 0-10 V signal). I placed all DAQ-Assitants in a while loop with a [Wait until next ms multiple] clock and set a value of 100 ms. I thougt, Labview will now write into my text file 10 times a second all values. In fact, as you can see in the attached text file, Labview only writes in a unsteady interval of 1-2 seconds a value, which is too less.
The question: Did I do anything wrong, how can you create VI that writes you lets say 10 values a second into text file? Or is simply the DigitalMultimeter input of the myDAQ not able to sample a rate of 10 Hz? I couldn´t find any information in the specification handbook about the sample rate of the DMM?

Test7.txt 1 KBFile I/O is not very efficient. I recommend that you do you file logging in a parallel task. Have one task do your data acquision. This task would then pass the data to be logged to the logging task via a queue. That way your file operations do not impact your data acquision. Also, express VIs are not very efficient. You would be better off accessing that directly using the DAQ VIs. The express VIs contain lots of steps that do not need to be done every time you call it such as initializing the device.

Problem: Why does this only work for powers of 2?
I wrote this program to create a golf league schedule for, ideally, eight players. However I want it to be flexible enough to permit for other denominations, such as 10 or 12. When I run the program it works perfectly for any number that is a power of 2 (2,4,8,16,32,etc...) but it will not work for other even numbers such as 6,10, or 12. If anyone has any insights it would be most helpful.

}//end WeekAh, I have discovered the problem. The reason for the infinite loop was because of the resetting of the counter/index after every successful match entry back to (a - 1). This was causing matches to be put into weeks where they didn't belong, which caused the program to infinitely loop because it couldn't find an appropriate week to place it's next match. The only time the count should be reset back to zero is when a new player A is being processed or the last valid array index has been referenced before an out of bounds exception would be thrown. I'm still not entirely sure why this doesn't occur on powers of 2 but theh again I haven't put too much thought into it having solved the initial problem! :)

Often on website all of sudden everything got freeze and a window shows a message about Flash crush. I checked the Firefox 22.0 Crash Report which is very technical it is talking about

there is a lot more but I do not understand.
I checked Firefox to solve this problem but there is an article about upgrading and downgrading Adobe flash not Shockwave Flash.
Any advice will be helpful.

This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with Flash in Firefox. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Why would Flash Drive be different after upgrading to Mountain Lion?
Ever since I upgraded to Mountain Lion my Flash Drive is absolutely unfamiliar to me! There are so many extra items in it that I never added.
Is there a reason for this?

Why won't garageband work for second user account
I have recently had new hard drive installed in my iMac, after a lot of time recovering everything I have my main (admin) user account working fine, including garageband 11 working fine after having to go through the unistall and delete all the library files work around. But now when I add a second user account for my kids, i get the same problem I had earlier. It shouldn't be the same thing because all of those files were deleted. I have cleared out the lirary files in the ~user library as well just in case but still the same issue. I get the warning that garageband needs to download files to work, it seemingly downloads all the files, then installs them, gets to 100% installed and then crashes.

This looks like GarageBand is trying to install the additional content - loops, instruments - for the new users all over again as well. This should not happen. All loops and instruments should have been installed in the system library for all users and not in your user library for you alone. Or there may be a permissions problem with the system library. Did you install all additional contents from an administrator account or a regular user account without administrator privileges? -
Why is Siri only available for the iPhone 4s?
I think Siri should of been available for iPad2 and iPod touch (4gen.) in the ios5 update. I mean if its just a personal assistant, why not?!
I agree that Siri should be available for the iPad2 (which has the same A5 dual core processor) and the most current iTouch4.
But that not withstanding. Is this the same Siri Assistant application that was a free app early last year 2010? When I got my iPhone4 (last summer) it was one of the first apps I downloaded but I didn't know how to use it well and it got loss in the abyss of my iphone apps library.
When I tried to use it again, it did not work, giving me a message "retrieval failed" Siri could not download required info from server. It is now longer available within the iTunes Store, probably since it was purchased and put in the new iPh4S as an exclusive.
Can I do something to make the original Siri Assistant app work on my iPhone4. It is too early for me to upgrade to a new 4S. -
Why does iMessage only work for some of my contacts?
Having problems with iMessage. It will work for some of my contacts but not others. And those people arre having the same problem, works with other people but not me.. Anyone dealt with this?
1. Both devices have to be running iOS 5.*
2. Internet latency can delay iMessage connection. If you enabled "Send as SMS", the phone will switch to SMS if iMessage doesn't connect quickly. If you disable Send as SMS, more of your messages will go through as iMessage. -
Why is IWork only free for new devices?
Will it ever be available on the App Store for free? Or do I have to buy a new device to get IWork? I really need these apps for school and I don't want to buy them if they are going to be free.

Why is Ink only ergonomic for right-handed people?
The Ink feels great in the right-hand, the twist in the metal puts the pen in just the right position, but in the left-hand, the twist is the wrong direction. The point of the triangle rests on the hand. Ink is lightweight but the twisting the wrong direction makes it harder to control. When will left-handed people get their own? I'm kinda disappointed in Ink.
Yes, I have worked with it in both my right and left hands. The twist is biased for right-handers (see my photos below to see how the Ink sits differently in the left hand. In the left hand, the point of the triangle rests on the hand. In the right hand, the flat of the triangle rests on the hand. But the shape of the triangle still provides a stable grip at the fingers, it won't twist out on you). After using it, I decided not to return it because to be honest, the case is great.
Adonit (the actual manufacturers of Ink & Slide) makes a very similar product for less ($119) called the Adonit Jot Touch. In fact, it's basically the same thing, it has the Pixelpoint technology, the access to Creative Cloud, everything AND it is uniform/ambidextrous in design. So you might consider this option instead.
The Slide has come in handy for quick drawing but with Adobe's free programs (specifically Line), the features of Slide are still available with the Adonit Jot Touch without actually having Slide. BUT - apart from the effort of returning Ink & Slide - I kept Ink because of its amazing case. The Jot Touch charges with a dongle, Ink charges inside a protective case. I work between digital and traditional media, so I put my Ink into my pencil case with wood pencils, micron pens, lead holders and sharpeners (messy stuff). The case is just great (see my photo below of Ink inside its case).
As I stated above, the biggest problem with the handedness of Ink, is the fact that I paid $200 for it, it actually works great and is not uncomfortable, just not equal. Know what I mean?

Hi, my Ipod Schuffle (4 gen) dissapears from windows vista right after I execute Itunes, I've change the drive letter, erase temps in App data file, verified USB drivers, etc... Can someone guide on how to solve this?
