Will it cost me additional if someone texts me using his computer?

There's this site he tells me about that he can use to text my phone. Will it cost me additional if someone texts me using his computer? Or is it included in my unlimited texting plan? Because my other friend texts me using his itouch and it's free. But I want to make sure that texting me thru computer is free before letting him send me a message.

I'm on the 700 minutes family share plan btw and the txt messaging is unlimited.
Oh, and I almost forgot. I also want to ask about the "Get yahoo! messenger on your mobile phone", it says I will receive the IMs as SMS message so does that mean I won't be charged for data usage and instead it will be counted as a normal txt msg rate?

Any text messagge sent to you, via computer, another phone, or text alerts from your bank, for example, are included in your unlimited texting plan (I have the same unlimited text plan--there is no extra charge.)
You can also use the Mobile IM on your phone (it may already be installed), set it up with your Yahoo ID (or AOL, or MSN - all three messenger services work) and then your friends on Yahoo IM will see you as logged in and your IM's will all be counted as text messages. My daughter has friends in the UK and Canada that she communicates with using her Mobile IM.

If you are using a supported iPhone carrier, they usually do not charge for this. It is an international text to the UK server to activate iMessage and FaceTime. You need to take this up with your carrier. If you are not using a supported carrier, you will just have to deal with it if you want to use iMessage and FaceTime.

If you go to Settings > General > About > Diagnostics & Usage > Diagnositic & Usage Data you can see what was used if it returns an error of any kind.

But you can (and should) delete your backup in iTunes prefs > Devices.

You need to use LiveCycle (PC Only) to create a dynamic form like that.
The best you can do with Acrobat to view all of the text in a field is to set the field to multiline, and set the size to "Auto" (If you don't set the size to 'Auto', you can enter as much text as you wish, but the user will need to use the scrollbar to view all of the text.)

It will, however, use your data allowance unless you are using WiFi. Fortunately, iMessages don't use much data.

With remote_os_authent being deprecated, will replacement come with additional cost?

One of our applications uses AD with remote_os_authent for single sign on (for some users) to the underlying database.
The database is currently on 9iR2 but will soon be moved to 11gR2 - with remote_os_authent now deprecated, I am under the impression from the vendor that one has to now add Oracles Access Manager with it's extra cost now that remote_os_authent is being phased out.
The vendor's app is tied in with Microsoft Active Directory to pass along credentials to implement single sign on, as a result of remote_os_authent being deprecated they tell me many of their customers are balking at purchasing an additional license(s) so they have now ported the application to use MSSQL database for a back end, as MSSQL provides integration with AD at no extra cost. This is an option I have been asked to look into as well, if there is going to be an extra cost to what we've already been using at no cost.
I've not had a lot of experience with remote_os_authent, and am confused if integrating database logins with AD specifically requires the remote_os_authent parameter or one can create a user identified externally and have AD pass the domain credentials without the remote_os_authent parameter. We have EE licensing and if I have to purchase an additional product at an additional cost now then I'll likely look at having them port the app to use MSSQL as well.
Anyone else running into this?

Last night my girlfriend smashed my iPhone 4s because I wouldn't let her look at my texts. My iPhone has a passcode, when I wouldn't tell her she got angry threw against a wall. It's cracked now, and I had to tape my home button to use it. Basically, it's knackered. One of the speakers stopped working too.
I was wondering, is it still under warrenty as I only got it 5 months ago? If it's not under warrenty how much will it cost to fix? I don't have Apple Care nor do I know anything about it.
If someone could help and explain to me, that would be awesome.

This is not something on your end. If they send an iMessage it will arrive as an iMessage, if the send an email it will arrive as an email.
THey are sepearate services that cannot be mixed up.
Tell them to send you an email, rather than an iMessage.
If they are using the messages App it will always arrive as a Message.

Thanks for posting. That’s a good question. We don’t have an additional charge for you to be able to obtain text message details. If you simply want to view certain information such as date, time and number, as Grothka mentioned, you can login to My Verizon and view the last 3 months of messaging details.
If you would like to retrieve the content of the text messages, as budone stated, we do require a search warrant. Keep in mind text messages are only kept approximately 3-5 days but never more than 10 days due to system limitations. I’m sure you’ll find this information helpful. Have a great day.

Buying a bundle doesn't mean that your device will work aborad you need to make sure roaming is enabled on your account.
If you have a EE extra plan you still need to make sure roaming is enable on your account your plan only gives you free/cheaper calls when abroad.
If your wanting to enable roaming on your account there could be a deposit to pay if you haven't had the device for about 6 months.
Unless you have paid the deposit then roaming is not enabled on your account.
You need to activate roaming on your account by calling 150 from your device or from a landline 01707 315000 before you leave the UK.
But you can still do this if you are abroad.
If you have had the device/contract for 6 months or over you can login to your online account and turn on roaming yourself
Manage this device>Usage controls>Roaming abroad - Allow and Call abroad and turn it on. If the option is not there you need to call
It can take 24 hours to activate
If you had this device/contract for under 6 months you need to call customer services on +44 7953 966250 from a landline.

i bought the phone from someone who lives in my village, there is no error code, when apple did a diagnostic on the phone they said it was running perfect. when you say carrier locked what exactly do you mean as i put a brand new orange sim in the phone and everything seems fine but the sim dosnt seem to activate so i tried it in my unlocked 4s and i got missed calls and txt's that id sent to it while it was in the 4, when i try ring it in the 4 it says sorry calls are currently not being connected to this number then goes to orange answerphone
