Will my EFS 18-55mm lens work on a T3i?

I have a DS6041 camera with an EFS 18-55mm. I want to upgrade to the T3i and found a good deal on Amazon for the body only. Can I use this lens with the T3i or do I have to get a new one? I can't seem to find any info online when I search. I'm assuming yes, but I'd like to know before I order.

Needed Varible ND Suggestions For 7d EFS 17-55mm Lens

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions for a varible ND filter for my 7D EFS 17-55mm lens. Wanting to shoot video on the high end towards the f/2.8 range of this lens. Currently, my sweet spot without a ND is anywhere from f/14 to f/18 bright/cloudy outdoors. I normally shoot at 1920x1080 at 24fps with my shutter speed at 1/50. As you know, the higher the aperture the brighter things get. At f/2.8 I'm totally washed out. Personally I'd get a standard ND filter instead of a variable. Looks like 5 stop is what you need. I know B+W makes a 6 stop, you might be able to get that to work.
Perhaps variable NDs work well with video. When I looked into getting one for stills it seemed to me it just wasn't worth it if you're picky about your quality. Anything less than the SR was of dubious quality and even the SR had problems with the X banding at higher opacities. With stills you usually have some wiggle room over settings so having a 3 stop and a 6 stop, and stacked for 9 stop, was enough for my needs.

Canon usually puts the filter size on the ring on the front element or somewhere along the side. It'll use the diameter symbol ⌀. That lens is 58mm. Though I usually find Google to be fastest for such questions:

We are planning a upgrade of a SP2010 farm to 2013. There has been a bit of customization so we wish to run the old sites on the new SP2013 platform in SP2010 compatibility mode.
So my question is will Office Web Apps Server 2013 work with the old sites hosted in compatibility mode?

According to your description, my understanding is that you need to know whether Office Web Apps 2013 is working with SharePoint 2013 sites which is in SharePoint 2010 compatibility mode.
For my test, Office Web Apps 2013 with SharePoint 2013 sites which is in SharePoint 2010 compatibility mode is working fine.

What's the 411 on mini display-to-VGA adapters? I'm not particularly thrilled about the prospect of paying $30 from Apple. Will the older "roundy" style adapters work just as well? Ebay is flooded with 'em for cheap. What about the aftermarket ones? Or are Apple's adapters proprietary (I wouldn't put it past them if theirs were!)?

I have a weird problem with my Macbook pro 13" bought in sep 09. I have connected my Samsung HDTV 720p via mini display of Macbook pro 13 to DVI adapter n thn DVI to HDMI cable to HDMI port of TV.
When the display cable is unplugged, i am able to surf the internet and watch videos, as soon as I connect the mini display port to macbook pro, iternet freezes.
I even tried to move my macbook far away from the HDTV, but it never helped.
I noticed, macbook was connected to wifi in this situation but internet was not working, even i tried to ping my Netgear wifi router, it could not ping. and turned off the Airport and again turned it on (while the Display cable was connected to HDTV), it was not accepting password for my wifi router.
I dont know what is the problem, i tried all I knew to solve but still helpless.
Anybody please help me get this resolved.

The iPad also no longer works with celluar data. I'm not sure what has happened. It was working fine a few hours ago. I have tried resetting it, ive restarted my browser etc. I tried to erase all data from my Ipad but I can't do that because it needs to sign into my Apple ID and use the Internet!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. I have found that scrolling through the album list (past albums without art) triggers the progress wheel next to the wifi symbol. You can scroll quickly through the whole collection and then wait! Artwork will appear gradually...
However, repeat visits to the Music App might initially show no artwork again, but it might spontaneously appear more quickly this time. The bad news is that the whole Music App is now sluggish as ****...

You need a Firewire cable to run between the two Macs. Using Utility>Migration Assistant running on your new MacBook Pro, transfer what you want (with all the preferences and such) from your MacBook to your MBP. Here's more info from Apple.
You might have an issue with the Serial number for Office, but hopefully you have that around.

I have been working on movies in iMovie but after downloading dropbox and exporting iMovies as large files I can no longer open up imovie on the computer. If I download imovie again, will I have lost all my work ?

Yesterday I was working in imovie. I exported the files as both Quicktime movies and as large files which I then placed in a Dropbox account. Subsequently, perhaps because the files were so large, I have been unable to open the imovie programme. The menu appears but nothing else happens. If I download the software again will I loose all my previous work ? Has anyone any suggestions ?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

EFS Recovery Agent not working on Windows 8.1

I know EFS data recovery has been discussed so many times in the forums but I could not find anything useful in the other threads as I believe I have followed all the required steps but still cannot get EFS recovery agent to work.
I have a Client1 (Win 8.1) and a DC1 (Windows Server 2012 R2) under beta.com domain.
DC1 is a CA server as well as a domain controller.
I logged into DC1 as beta.com\Administrator
which is the Domain Administrator account.
I duplicated the EFS Recovery Agent template on the
DC1 and published it into Active Directory.
Then I edited the Default Domain Policy GPO and under
Computer Settings\Policies\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Public Key Policies
I right clicked Encrypting File System and selected Create a Data Recovery Agent
and a new file recovery certificate was generated for the Administrator account.
I exported the newly-created Recovery Agent certificate and then logged into
Client1 as beta.com\Administrator and imported
it.
I then logged off from Client1 and logged back in using a different account beta.com\johns
and encrypted a folder (with a text file inside) using EFS. (The folder address on local disk is
C:\Reports)
Then I logged back into Client1 again using beta.com\Administrator
but I am unable to open the file inside the folder and I get an
Access is denied message.
It is very strange to get an "Access is denied" message because on the text file when I right click and click Properties -> Advanced -> Details, under the Recovery Certificates, the Administrator account's certificate is listed
and its thumbprint corresponds to the same recovery certificate which I created in step 3. But I am still unable to access the file.
Do you have any idea why? Am I missing something?

The Client1 user needs to enrol via GPO to get the recovery certificate normally via automatic enrolment
Check the Personal Certificate store for Client1
I think the policy needs to be applied before you encrypt any data

Did you export the Private key when you did the export ?
Did you export to a .cer file

I had Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard on my computer & it was working with Adobe Reader 8, but don't remember what the version it was.
I was using Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard to scan very old family pictures & documents & I realize that this version of Acrobat is outdated.
To make a long story short, my computer had crashed, so we built another computer & just replaced the hard drive. When I went to Adobe, I had to download the newer version of Reader 9.0 & it didn't work with Acrobat 6.0., so I removed Adobe Reader 9 & I found Adobe Reader 8.0 & have downloaded the patches, so now I have Adobe Reader 8.2.4 back on board.

Adobe doesn't recommend any version of Reader with any version of Acrobat on Windows. It will cause problems. It just is a matter of how and when. The problem has to do with shared resources causing conflicts. If you have Acrobat 8, you can update it to Acrobat 8.2.4. You must apply the updates sequentially.
