Windows 8.1 Enrolment - WSTEP stage

Hi,
I got stuck at the final step of windows device enrolment process (WSTEP).
I have developed all other discoveryservice / enrolment certificate policy endpoints and the flow goes as expected upto the final step. In the final step, the service send the SOAP message with the wap-provisioning xml encoded within it, but the device doesn't
show any successful enrolment. It prompts that, the phone wasn't able to setup this account ....
Now Im in a really bad situation and I tried everything I can to figure this out. I've been spending more than 3 weeks only on this and right now I'm exhausted.
It would be a real help if someone can assist me here. I will put the wap-provisioning file here.

I used windows power tools for debugging and sorted out some issues I encountered previously. Now it shows some error of 0x80090016 - NCryptOpenKey. Just above that couple of error (I guess) codes 0x8018000E and 0x8000FFFF are shown.
I still couldn't come out of this. Assuming this is something to do with certificates, I tried verifying my certificates with certutil as well, and it is verified.
Can someone help me in this ? I'm really really stuck here
BR

Hi Eric,
1.I rearranged the wap-provisioning xml as you suggested (..My/WSTEP) and checked, but no luck.
2.Public keys of signed certificate and CSR are also matching.

3. Regarding the SOAP message, I used standard annotation for preparing it. Namespaces of the SOAP body are according to the document. Just for ensuring this, I have put my SOAP response below.

Im still getting 0x80090016 error (NCryptOpenKey). What this might really mean ?
I found in the internet this is 'keyset doesnt not exist', what might be the reason for this ? Can this be somehow related with deny access permission to private key within the device (This is very unlikely, isnt it ?) ?
Eagerly Waiting for your reply...

  • Windows Phone 8 Enrollment fails (SCCM + ADFS)

    I'm using an ADFS and SCCM 2012 SP1 integrated Intune combination.
    Login to Intune Mangement via Internet Explorer on normal Desktop and the Portal Website works fine with Domain Credentials. But the Company app on Windows Phone 8 will not connect. Doesn't matter what I type in the username, Password and the boxes below
    with serveradress, no error message appears.
    Even the Login via the Webbrowser of the Windows Phone 8 device works (m.manage.microsoft.com), but then the error message appears that the Company app Portal is not accessible from this mobile device.
    I'm not sure, if I have to look for the signed app which is uploaded with SCCM 2012. Or to the ADFS Proxy Server, because this is run with a certificate from my private CA (the app is signed with an correct public code signing certificate). If found here
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj151794#bk_requirements :
    Required: Because this certificate must be trusted by clients of AD FS and Microsoft cloud services, use an SSL certificate that is issued by a public (third-party) CA or by a CA that is subordinate to a publicly trusted root; for example,
    VeriSign or Thawte.
    Does this occur, even when the device already trust the private CA (also used for OWA), But the Microsoft cloud Services does of course not?
    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    I have a similar problem. I'm using SCCM 2012 R2 with ADFS/SSO. I'm unable to enroll a WP8 device, on entering the upn and password the phone goes off and tries to enroll but comes back asking for the additional info such as "Domain", etc. even entering
    the additional info it still does nothing? No error messages, nothing. If I open a web browser and type "enterpriseenrollment.domain.com" I'm redirected to the "manage.microsoft.com"/Intune login page. If I then enter my user upn and tab to enter the password,
    it redirects me to my ADFS sts but comes up saying "page cannot be displayed"? So, I cannot access adfs from a web browser or enroll a WP8 device, what am I doing wrong? Port 443 has been opened from my Edge FW through to my adfs proxies/Fed servers with *.manage.microsoft.com
    as the only inbound connection allowed, as per the documentation. The MS Remote Connectivity Analyser reports that it cannot access the environment on port 443 but I'm guessing that's due to it not coming from *.manage.microsoft.com? Any advice would be majorly
    appreciated!!!

  • Application Modal Stage(Window) possible in JFXPanel?

    I'm working on an app using JDK 1.7 (can't move to 8 yet) where the main view code is Swing. In one subapp I am creating a JavaFX Scene which is inside a JFXPanel. I have a JFrame which has a JPanel which has a JFXPanel which has the Scene.
    I am setting up "windows" to allow operations  which are launched off off of right click ContextMenu instances on the scene. I would like these "windows" to be modal over the JFXPanel or even the whole java app if easier.
    So far I have been creating instances of Popup and putting my nodes inside that. I then show the popup over the parent node. This works fine but the popup itself isn't really modal on the scene or app. It does stay open even if the user does other actions on the scene but it also stays open even if the user goes to another subapp which isn't fx and the JFXPanel goes out of focus.
    A couple of problems are that the main app can be moved around and the popup doesn't move with it. Also actions can still be performed on the scene while the Popup is shown. I can stop the actions by in the handlers checking if a popup is open and doing nothing if it is. Also I can hide the popup if the user switches away from the fx subapp by listening on focus events on the JFXPanel.
    Some of the actions launched from within the nodes inside the Popup require confirmation windows to the user. I have been able to get those to work and they do work modally like I expect. They are on top of the Popup window and the user can't do any actions underneath the confirmation window. The confirmation dialogs are implemented by creating a new Stage and setting it's parent to the Popup and setting the modality to Application or Window.
    Since the confirmation window behavior works as I wanted I am trying to make the content nodes of my Popups to behave the same way by putting them in a new Stage and setting the modality to Application or Window. For the parent of the new stage the only thing I can think of is to call getScene().getWindow() on the JFXPanel. This returns a Window instance (EmbeddedWindow I think) and  it seems to work ok with the initOwner() call on the new Stage.
    The new Stage shows up with my contents in it when launched from the right click ContextMenu on the stage. It does seem to be modal as I can't do any operations in the JFXPanel underneath. The problem is that if I do anything in the scene inside the JFXPanel then the 2nd stage goes to the back of focus. I set the 2nd stage to application modal. If I set the 2nd stage to window modal then the other nodes in the scene are not blocked and the 2nd stage isn't modal at all.
    I think I could accomplish what I want if I put another JFXPanel with the Popup contents in it inside of a JDialog every time but I would like to do this with JFX code only if possible.
    I guess the real question is if it's possible to have some kind of truly modal window that stays on top  of a scene inside a JFXPanel using JFX 2. Any ideas that don't involve moving to JFX 8 since that isn't possible for me?
    Thanks,
    -Darryl

    Changed title to be more clear

    I changed the title as I think I understand the issue better now. I don't see the exception most of the time but the real question is if I can have an application wide (not just the JavaFx part but the whole outer app) modal stage shown inside a JFXPanel? If I open a Popup inside my JFXPanel on top of the JFXPanel scene then I can have a modal stage with the Popup as the parent. When trying to open a modal stage on top of the scene from the JFXPanel, the modal stage always gets pushed to the back of focus if I click on something outside the JFXPanel.

  • Class controller Stage/Window reference

    Is there any way of getting the Stage/Window object of an FXML loaded file from the associated class controller?
    Particularly, I have a controller for a modal window and I need the Stage to close it.

    Hi!
    I have a parent FXML-file (no controller added) acting as main frame, which includes several other FXML-files. In one of those included FXML-files, I have added a controller.
    So, my setup looks a bit like this...
    -> Parent FXML
    --> include FXML-file1 + controller attached
    --> ...
    --> include FXML-file5
    Inside that controller, I am trying to access now the stage object in a similar approach like described here. This is when i get the null pointer exception....
    public class FXMLfile1Controller {
    @FXML
    private Button ButtonXYZ;
    @FXML
    protected void ButtonXYZ_Action(ActionEvent event) {
    Stage stage = (Stage)ButtonXYZ.getScene().getWindow();
    stage.setIconified(true);
    // this doesnt work either....
    // stage.close();
    Can it be, that the stage-object in the controller is not the same as the stage of the parent/main FXML?

  • Open new window in the same Window

    Im developing a project in JavaFX where I wish to open the new window in the same window
    Here is my code :
    Stage st=(Stage)((Node)t.getSource()).getScene().getWindow();
    I tried this but its giving an exception

    It is possible to specifiy a named window instead of _blank.
    So you could use the following instead:
    web.show_document('html/hello.htm','my_window');
    where my_window can be anything you want to call that browser window.
    However, I have discovered that if you put this in a button trigger, the second time you press the button (if the window is still open) it will not take focus - ie. it remains in the background.
    You can get around this by closing the window if it is already open:
    web.show_document('html/close.htm','my_window');
    web.show_document('html/hello.htm','my_window');
    The close.htm needs to contain some javascript to close the window:
    <html>
    <body onload="closeit()">
    <script>
    function closeit()
    window.opener = top;
    window.close();
    </script>
    </body>
    </html>
    Apparently XP SP2 is a little stricter with javascript and may not allow this. Also, not sure if this works in all browsers, I only tried IE6.

  • Switch to fullscreen in a desktop app which is running windowed

    I have a desktop application that runs with a transparent masked border, so since it's not a fullscreen application i have <fullScreen>false</fullScreen> in the app descriptor. BUT I'd like to be able to switch to fullscreen mode in some instances. I try to do so with:
    stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE;
    But this doesn't seem to work. The app is still not fullscreen after issuing that line. I suppose it's because of the descriptor, but if I set  <fullScreen>true</fullScreen> the app will start fullscreen, which I don't necessarily want (usually it's a windowed application with transparent chrome).
    So is this possible?
    Thanks!

    I have a desktop app using <fullScreen>false</fullScreen> in the app descriptor and have no problems switching between fullscreen mode or windowed mode just by setting stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE; or stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.NORMAL;

    My oracle application works only with 32 bit oracle.Now I need to install the application on a 64 bit windows 7.I tried installing oracle 11g 32 bit database on this machine(64 bit windows 7).During the final stages,it gave an error that the listener service has not started.When I checked the Services status in Computer Management->Services,I found that the listener has already started.I closed the error message and continued with installation.The installation completed successfully.But when I login to sql plus with my oracle database(SYSTEM/SYSTEM@MYHOSTNAME),it is giving tns error ORA 12541-TNS NO LISTENER.I tried every possible ways like restarting the service, and deleting the listener and creating it again,but still it doesnt work.
    If anyone has faced the same problem,please give me solution.
    I cannot try installing 64 bit oracle because my application is not compatible with 64 bit oracle.

    the application interacts directly with the oracle client software. The application should not know or care about the word length of the database.

  • How to Install em12c (12.1.0.3) on windows 64 bit

    Hi Guys,
    I am trying to install 12 c 12.1.0.3 on windows 2008 R2 server. The server has met the all prerequisites. But when I am trying to launch the installer it will disappear immediately without any error message. I check the installation log file there is no error about anything:
    LOGFILE:
    Using paramFile: D:\temp\12cCloud\em12103_winx64_disk1\oms\Disk1\install\oraparam.ini
    Checking swap space: must be greater than 500 MB.   Actual 3422 MB    Passed
    Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors.    Actual 65536    Passed
    Any idea why it is happening ?
    Regards,

    Hi, can you open an SR for this issue and share the number. Lets check few basic things:
    a) can you make sure that all the zips are downloaded from OTN have correct byte and checksum information
    b) Can you make sure that you unzipped all these zips files in a single folder
    c) After unzipping can you check if you have following folders created ( not these folder are for linux but they will be same on windows) -
    install      libskgxn      plugins     response     stage     WT.zip
    jdk     oms     runInstaller      wls
    d) Can you invoke setup.exe -debug
    then look at the logs from -
    C:\Users\aime\AppData\LocalTemp\2\OraInstall2013-07-09_04-10-59AM   ( for windows it will be orInstaller.err and log )
    Since there is nothing in logs,  opening an Sr will help us to have a web conference with you and identify the issue.

  • Windows projector quits fullscreen when opening pdf file

    Hi, hopefully someone on here can help with a problem I'm having.
    I'm working in CS5, using AS2 on a Mac.
    I've built a presentation that requires the need to open pdf files in Acrobat Reader... as I have been building this on a Mac I simply used the geturl code which has been working a treat... today when I tested it on a PC it opened the file in a browser window!
    I'm not really a coder and have to rely on finding bits online that I can tweak... after many hours I have fixed the pdf opening problem by using the fscommand method, but unfortunately when the pdf file is closed, my presentation (that was running fullscreen) has minimised itself to a window 100% to the original stage size!
    Is there any fix for this?
    Many thanks in advance.

    I found a very simple solution here: http://www.northcode.com/blog.php/2008/03/16/Problem-with-Fullscreen-Flash-Projectors

  • Flex Bug - Cannot display full screen video in a new window

    My top level application consists of a login screen. When the user logs in successfully, the main application is closed using "this.close()" and a new Window() is opened. Inside the new window I've added the VideoPlayer component and specified a source.
    When I run the application, everything worked as expected. However as soon as I click the full screen option on the VideoPlayer, Flex says:
    Error: Error #3200: Cannot perform operation on closed window.
        at flash.display::Stage/desktop_set_displayState()
        at flash.display::Stage/set displayState()
        at spark.components::VideoPlayer/fullScreenButton_clickHandler()[E:\dev\4.x\frameworks\projects\spark\src\spark\components\VideoPlayer.as:2233]
    Inside the VideoPlayer.as file I've found what I think is the problem:
    2204: // add as a popup
    2205: PopUpManager.addPopUp(this, FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication as DisplayObject);
    I commented out line 2205 and added a new line:
    PopUpManager.addPopUp(this, parentApplication as DisplayObject);
    However I get the same error and it still says the problem is at line 2233 as well, even though line 2233 now reads (due to the additional line I added above):
    // TODO (rfrishbe): Should we make this FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE if in AIR?
    I cleaned my project via the Project menu but I still get the same error message. Any idea how I can resolve this problem?

    Doesn't anyone know?

  • Outer Stage showing as transparent grid

    So when I open a file that's say, 100px x 100px, usually the PS window would be gray except for a 100pxX100px white square, which is, of course, the stage. However, now instead of the gray outer region (whatever that's called), it is showing as if it was transparent. When I drag the doc window to resize it, the stage is "duplicated" randomly while the transparent outer region continues to grow. I've attached a screen shot to help. The white block below is the stage. The rest is inaccessible. Also, if I use the Type tool, the screen flickers to its inverse with each keystroke. Anyone got an idea on this? I'd appreciate the help!

  • Two problems w/window switching

    Hi,
    1) How do I get the stage involved in identifying which
    window is actifve? As I switch between the stage and other windows,
    the name of the activeWindow remains "stage"; the name of the
    frontWindow shows changes properly, but not when I switch to the
    stage. It just stays the name of previous MIAW.
    2) If I click an editable field in the stage (make its sprite
    the keyboardFocusSprite), go to another window, then return to the
    stage, all text in the previously clicked field becomes selected.
    I'm quite sure none of my code is causing this, but I suppose not
    100%. Anybody know of a Lingo quirk that might cause this?
    Thanks,
    Bruce

    I managed a workaround by using "tell the stage" commands in
    "on activateWindow" handlers in the MIAWs. Still don't know why
    these things were happening, though.

  • Stage.setX doesn't work before stage.show is called?

    I would like to set the position of a new window before its made visible. stage.setX and stage.setY don't have any effect before stage.show is called. Is it possible to set the window position before its made visible? If so, how?

    This works for me. Can you post an example where it fails?

  • Installation of bootcamp - Formating Stage

    Hello all was just hoping someone could offer me some assurances that things will be ok with the way that I set up bootcamp. Basically, windows is all working now as it should be I think. But when I first installed windows and got to the stage where I had to format the partition for windows xp, I selected ''Leave the current file system intact'' by mistake. Once I realized that I was going around in circles I selected NTFS format (like it advises in the pdf!) and everything installed fully from there.
    To cut a long story short, all I wanted to know really was are there any potential implications as a result of going through the formatting / installation process twice before finally getting it right? ie do I have to delete files created as a result of initially selecting '' leave the current file system intact?''
    Im a bit of a newbee to all this so any comments would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards, Sean

    Hi Sean and welcome to Discussions,
    here are some more indepth informations about Disk formatting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_formatting
    With the 'second' NTFS formatting you basically put a fresh file system on the partition that made the informations from the first formatting not to be seen anymore (although physically most of them are still there, but not useable anymore).
    And yes, having a disk icon 'BootCamp' on your OSX desktop is normal.
    You can give it another name, but have to do this while in Windows since OSX can not write to NTFS partitions.
    If you wanna hide it from the OSX desktop, you can rename it in Windows starting the name with a . (point).
    Have Fun

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 Backups have the wrong time

    Because of serious problems with Server 2012R2 and the fact it activates without permission and support is absolute garbage, I made Windows Server Backups at various stages of the install so I would not have to start the install again from scratch,
    however the times of the backups when attempting a restore are around 11 hours earlier than the time they where actually made and the time of creation that is shown in the Windows Backup program.

    Hi,
    I’m a little unclear about your question. Would you please give an example of the issue?
