Hello,
This seems not related to SQL Server but more related to IIS.
Try setting the trust level to full using the following article:
http://www.iis.net/learn/application-frameworks/scenario-build-an-aspnet-website-on-iis/configuring-step-4-configure-application-security#42
If the above does not solve the issue, please post your question on the following forum:

Hope this helps.

  • Windows Server Mac networking issues

    Hi all,
I recently moved to a new office where internet access is provided via a Windows Server network.
I use a Macbook and am having the following issues whilst using the internet:
    - When I attempt to FTP a file, the first time I do it it always hangs. If I immediately try to upload the same file it works fine.
    - The first time I send an email it bounces back, the second time it works just fine.
    - If I try to post a comment on a website (or add new content on our site via a custom CMS) the first time I do it it doesn't work, the second time it's fine!!
These issues are driving me crazy, does anybody have any idea as to what the cause maybe? Does anybody know how I can find out more about the specific network set up via the terminal or cmd prompt on the pc next to me? I've tried asking people in the office but the tech support is non existent
    Cheers,
    Woody

    Hi Charles,
Thanks for your help with this... I've tried connecting via ethernet and via two wireless access points that are all connected to the same network but the issues still persist. Would this suggest that the problem is something to do with the actual server software configuration itself?
Ooh, yes. That's a server problem. You're not going to have the same connectivity issue with different wired and wireless connections, and we've already established that DHCP and DNS are good. (It could still be an intermittent DHCP or DNS issue. Does anyone else have problems?)
A temporary solution for me at the mo is to join someone elses open wireless network in my area but it has really bad reception
    What is your prognosis?!
I went looking on Microsoft TechNet (a great resource for problems with MS software) and got this: <http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/ecc10b32-898a-435f-9d5c -01c25fb4d1f61033.mspx?mfr=true>. Do you have a domain or a workgroup configuration? If a domain, is your Mac set up in their AD Users & Computers settings? Also, is RADIUS configured properly? And what are the GPOs on their system?
Also, what kind of Windows server is in use? WinNT Server, W2K Server, and W2K3 Server are all different beasts... and there are different flavors of each, especially W2K3 server.

  • Windows Serve 2003 Paging Issue

    Hi All,
We have one windows server 2003 enterprise edition with good CPU power & 24 GB of physical memory.
Since last few days weeks. This server becomes non-responsive with large number of event id 50 & 51. We can't access this system when this happens & someone need to go & hard reboot the system.
Assumes this is something related to memory leak from some application but didn't find the exact trace for that.
Any way to narrow down  this trace.
    Thanks,
    Sandesh

    Hi sandeshgawade87,
Did you install the following Hotfix:
Some data is corrupted when cached and noncached I/O operations occur by using the same NTFS file handle
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981166
From the event ID, it also can caused by the hardware issue, please check your storage hardware related system.
    The related KB:
    Information about Event ID 51
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244780
Windows System Event Log Errors that indicate possible I/O problems can be associated with database inconsistency or performance problems for SQL Server

I’m glad to be of help to you!

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 issues on OVS 3

I've been trying to get Windows Server 2008 R2 to work on OVS3 and been having issues.
First I tried to copy a working VM from OVS2 and it seemed to work, but it would crash whenever intensive I/O happened. I installed the OVS3 PVM drivers, hoping that would fix it, but it didn't. I moved it over to another server, thinking maybe it was a hardware issue. No luck there.
I also tried a fresh install. It boots up and when it starts to unpack the install files the VM reboots. I tried this with an NFS repository and on local disk with the same result.
Has anyone successfully installed Win2K8 Server on OVM3? Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Jim

Both Mem and Max Mem were set to 2048 mb, so I figured it was fine. But I changed them both to 4096 mb and now it's working. Odd.
Both the copied VM and the fresh install are working.
    Thanks.

  • Windows Server Essentials Connector issue

I cannot get the computer connector program to complete successfully. Had to add my 6 Pcs manually through the Properties screen on the PCs.  As a result, Computers are not listed on the Anywhere Access screen and no-one can remote into their PC.
I have both, a self-signed certificate for the servername.domainname.local and a purchased certificate for the public domain on the server.

  • Acrobat 8 Professional and Windows Server 2003 R2 Issue

    Hi
Our customers using Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional on Windows server 2003 R2 SP2. It works some period of time but then application stops working with this error and cannot start anymore:
Faulting application Acrobat.exe, version 8.1.0.137, faulting module Checkers.api, version 8.1.0.137, fault address 0x000021a2.
What can be the problem? There is nothing in the knowledgebase.
    Regards,
    Jelena

    Hello jordixip,
You can connect your Mac to Terminal Services using Remote Desktop Connection Client . You need a license, the client software, and turning on the appropriate bits on the server. It is in Micro$oft-ese, but the overview is here.
    Good Luck!

  • PHD on windows server MNH sync

I have my osx clients mount a windows server 2008 mounted network home directory (MNH) and PHD. Simple smb path users/there_home. So, now that I have OD+AD with PHD for the clients, my problem is that the osx sync puts the contents of the local home directory in the root of the user's mounted network home directory along with contents synced from the pc's. So, the problem is that the sync pushing the files down to the client on login will also pickup all the pc files.
I'm thinking I need a script or something in front of the PHD sync that tells PHD synchronization to upload files to server/users/therehome/machome, even though the /mac_home does not exists, but needs to be created on the fly? Or, to tell the PHD sync to only copy the default osx directories, Desktop, Documents, etc. from the MNH?

  • Server time-out issue - unable to start "hello - world" application

    Hi Team,
I am doing the exercise of week 1 of "Intro to SAP HANA Cloud platform (Repeat) " -
I am unable to start the application - I get the server time out error - also I tried increasing the timeout in server editor to 600 - I still
get the error as shown below
Please help me in resolving this.
    Thanks in advance!
    -Manju

    1. I meant look for any errors in the logs, for something related to your app.
    2. Just go to Java Applications in Cockpit. BTW, do you know the help center SAP HANA Cloud Documentation? That should be your first stop for any questions around HCP along with the SAP HANA Cloud Platform Developer Center and http://hcp.sap.com/.
    3. There should be more details in that log file about the reason the app could not start.
    HTH!

  • SCSM 2012 R2 AD connector sync issue

    Hi Guys,
    I have a very strange
issue with the AD connector and have been struggling with it for a couple of days now. Frankly I’m out of options and hope some here can help me out.
Let me start by telling you briefly how our environment is setup.
    Domain1 : 500 users, 600 workstations, 100 servers
Mainly used for office automation, with Exchange2010, MS SQL2008R2, Link, SCOM 2012 R2, SCCM2012 Windows 7 clients etc. Domain level is 2008 R2, with two domain
    controllers.
    Domain2 : 50 users, 250 servers
    Web and Application servers.
    Domain3 : 80 workstations, 100 users
Just a bunch of workstations for public use.
Service Manager : is member of Domain1
    Version             : SCSM 2012 R2
    OS
    : Windows Server 2012 R2 x64
    SCSM-SRV-1
    : management server
    SCSM-SRV-2
    : Datawarehouse server
    MS SQL cluster 2008 R2 x64
    Instance1
    : Service Manager database
    Instance2
    : Datawarehouse databases
    Domain1
    AD_Connector1 : Users
    AD_Connector2 : Servers/workstations
    AD_Connector3 : Printers
    SCCM connector
    SCOM CI connector
    Exchange connector
    Domain2
    AD_Connector4 : Users
    AD_Connector5 : Servers
    Domain3
    AD_Connector6 : Users
    AD_Connector7 : Servers/Workstations
The problem is only with the AD connectors for Domain1, the ones for domain 2 and 3 are working as they should.
    What happens;
    1. Create AD_Connector1 succesfully
    2. Start a manual sync, all goes well. CMDB now contains all users from domain1
    3. Create some new users in AD
    4. Start a manual sync, new users are not synced.
When I reboot SCSM-SRV-1 and do a manual sync users are populated again.
Doing a second sync after adding users they again don't get synced. When I leave it at this the users apear in the CMDB after a couple of days (varies from 1 to
    5 days).
    When succesful the evenlog shows event id, 3102, 3103, 333, 3305, 3339, 34011 and 34012
When it goes wrong the evenlog shows event id, 3102, 3103, 333, 3305
    and 3339. Further no errors.
    I tried;
    - recreating the connectors
    - using different service accounts
    - created a second service manager environment for testing purposes. (freshly installed SCSM with only 2 AD connectors one for domain1 users (TESTOU) and one for
domain2 users (TESTOU). Same problem the one for domain2 manualy syncs well each time I try and the one for domain1 only the first time after a reboot.
Since the problem occurs only with domain1, and the connector at least works well the first time, I assume there is no problem with the Service Manager
    installation.
I checked the domain controllers and see no problems everything looks oke.
Hope some one can shed some light on this for me.

    Hi there,
    ve tried installing the upgrade

  • 4.91 client time sync issues

I have been having issues getting my XP workstations to sync with the time
of my Netware 6.5 SP 6 servers. I have one server set as the time source
which gets it's time from time.nist.gov just fine. My pc's are set in the
client to get that time from the server (default setting). However they
don't get the time. No matter what I do unless I physically change the
    time
on my pc's can I get them to time sync with the servers?
    Any tips or hints?
    Thanks

Assuming you have client32 installed, they only get the time on login, not continuously through the day. Additionally they get UTC time and adjust it to the timezone set in Windows. What is the nature of the time difference between them and teh server? Is it an exact number of hours?
The other issue that will stop client32 getting time from the server is if the server is not in timesync with its tree. Load DSrepair on the server holding the Master of the affected partition. From the first menu run a TimeSync Check and a Report Sync Status. When finished, exit DSrepair and post the relevant portion of SYS:SYSTEM/dsrepair.log here, thanks.

  • MacMini Time Sync Issues

    Hi All
I have a MacMini (Late 2012) that i am having issues with.
When i got the MacMini, it came with Lion which was then upgraded to Mountain Lion and now finally on Mavericks. However, since updating to 10.9.x i have noticed that the time on the mini seems to be going about 45 seconds fast every day (which means by the end of the week the time is approx 4 minutes ahead of what it should be). I have checked in Date & Time prefs and the time is set to automatically sync with Apple Europe.
I did try also to disable to auto time sync but still the problem remained.
So now every few days i go into Date & Time Prefs for the time to sync back.
The mini is connected via ethernet and is always on.
    Any suggestions would be welcome
    Many Thanks

    1. For sure, there in VM settings you have time synchronization from host unchecked.
    2. Network monitor will reveal what happens when you stop annd start Windown Time service and Systém Event log contains relevant data.

    Hi,
There are some issues with time synchronization on hyper-v DC. They were described in the following blogs, together with solutions.

  • Time sync issues after windows update

    Hi,
After running a windows update on VM PDC controller server can't syncronize time with online pool (update took approx 10 minutes). Event log is showing error ID 50 (The time service detected a time difference of greater than 5000 milliseconds for 900 seconds)
and time is off for 10 minutes which causes problems with Exchange and Lync services.
According to event log there has been 4 succesful connections with NTP servers before event 50 appeared on log:
The time service is now synchronizing the system time with the time source 1.uk.pool.ntp.org,0x1 (ntp.m|0x1|0.0.0.0:123->178.79.191.28:123).
The time provider NtpClient is currently receiving valid time data from 2.uk.pool.ntp.org,0x1 (ntp.m|0x1|0.0.0.0:123->87.117.251.45:123).
The time provider NtpClient is currently receiving valid time data from 3.uk.pool.ntp.org,0x1 (ntp.m|0x1|0.0.0.0:123->178.79.160.57:123).
The time provider NtpClient is currently receiving valid time data from 1.uk.pool.ntp.org,0x1 (ntp.m|0x1|0.0.0.0:123->178.79.191.28:123).
After running manual resync time is corrected, but it takes time to populate through domain computers without running gpupdate /force on each PC in domain.

Server is not taking time from bare metal as it's running on Hyper-V and it seems that it's not syncing during startup correctly. Is there a possibility that there can be a config issue as it's working fine when reboot doesn't take too long?

    Marcin

  • Windows Server Time Service

My DC which is my time server keeps falling out of sync. anywhere from 5-20 min.
anyone seen this before are have any ideas?
    Twitter: @dguilloryjr LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/dannyjr Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/dguilloryjr

Open an elevated cmd prompt and your Root Domain PDC.
run: w32tm /query /source (Ensure it doesn't say CMOS or Free Running System Clock)
If it does, check the registry (HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters)
What are the values for TYPE and NTPServer?
You might be trying to pull from a device which you no longer have basic connectivity to. (Port 123).
    Let me know!

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 - Issues

3 major questions, by the way may I say thank you in advance for anyone who takes the time to help out.
Cant get server to recognize additional hard drives
It came factory and I didn't have it setup as a raid or anything they sent me the server with 1 500GB hard drive, however, it has 4 additional slots for hard drives and the sata cables + power for the drives.
Why would'nt I be able to just format the drives pop them in and once the server boots up it recognize them as another drive so I can share those drives out across the network and make them a network share drive?
       2. Cant get DHCP to work.
I setup active directory, DHCP, created a new scope range of 12.0.0.3-12.0.0.25with subnet mask 255.255.255.0. It asked for default gateway of the router which I have disabled DHCP on the router but its 192.168.1.1. I activated this scope.
       3. Does a server have to have 2 network cards in order to hand out DHCP?
I appreciate any responses I am kinda stuck right now and really need to get this finished throughout this week to come.

Thank you very much, ok so here is where im at with the network stuff, havent been able to get the hard drives to work yet, however, you have helped so much so far.
Ok Dave and Peter, its all kinda starting to make sense now to me I believe. So This the setup I have, currently the server is 12.0.0.2 on subnetmask 255.255.255.0 the router is DHCP disabled and has the same subnet mask as recommended above, which finally
made all my PC's running off the NIC's start to work now. I tried changing my router over to an access point and still no internet also my server doesnt have internet, but its handing out DHCP to PC's and they do.... im kinda lost. So looking below at peters
comment and im about to try changing the server scope to be 192.168.1.100-255 to see if that fixes the issue instead of the current 12.0.0.3-25 range. Just wanted to map this out all the way so you guys follow what im doing. I was so excited when i realised
that your recommendation earlier about the subnet mask was what I did wrong, now I have internet on PC's but no internet on wifi or on the server itself.
Ohh wow it wont let me post the picture I have drawn out ok. So
MODEM ------> SWITCH ------> Server (Has no internet Access, but is successfully handing out DHCP)          I made a cross over cable from switch to router (tried this already) and a regular straight through
PC1(Hard wired to the switch, *Has internet access and automatically pulls DHCP from the server)
Laptop (Has no internet access connecting to the router via wifi)
Router has DHCP disabled but I tried to turn it into an access point settings and still no internet on laptop
Server its self is handing out DHCP to hard wired PC's and they have internet, however the server itself has no internet access.
We are making progress here i am just probably missing some small details.
