    Hi,
You may print by using the HP ePrint Home & Biz app, available from the Google Play store:

  • Re: how can i print from samsung galaxy tab 10.1?

my tablet does not recognize the hp photo 6520 series printer even though the printer has been added to the printer option and has been activated by hpeprint. email addy for the printer is correct, internet connection is strong and it has ink and paper. printer will print from a desktop computer using the set-up CD. help is needed here.........

    Hi,
The simplest way to print wirelessly from your Galaxy tab is to download the HP eprint app from Google play and ensure that both your printer and tablet are connected to the same wifi network.
Once this is complete, you'll be able to print wirelessly from within the eprint app.

  • Printing from samsung galaxy tab 3

Hi I have a samsung galaxy tab 3 and was wondering how do I print from it as I have a HP photosmart C4680 printer, can this printer be used?

    Hi,
This topic is covered by another thread here, which indicates that the printer is not e-Print enabled so you won't be able to print to from your Galaxy Tab.
You'll find a list of e-print enabled printers here.

  • Wireless printing from SAMSUNG Tab 4 Tablet to HP printer

Hello! I have bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab4 10.1 tablet as a gift to someone who has never owned a computer. They will soon have a wi-fi internet connection installed at home. As they would like to be able to print wirelessly from the tablet DIRECTLY to a printer from time to time I recommendedan HP printer (since I own one and am very happy with it). However I need to know which models I can recommend to them and which app they can download from PlaynStore on their tablet so it is as straightforward as possible as they have absolutely no prior IT knowledge and I am geographically too far away to help them personally with this. Amongst the models which may be suitable and are available locally to them are:  HP Envy 4500 All-in-One Printer (wireless) HP 2540 All-in-One Printer (wireless) HP Deskjet 3630 All-in-One Printer (AUTO wireless connect) Any other suggestions welcome of course. What is the difference between wireless and auto wireless connect? Can you help please? Thank you very muchAriane

Hello ,  Welcome to the HP Support Forum.  I see that you have some questions about three different HP printer models' functionality. I would like to help.   As the Androift tablet and HP printer giftee has specific technical and network-oriented needs I do have some recommendations that may help you decide which unit's a better fit.  Firstly, I advise you to cross the HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer off your list.  Its wireless feature (aka auto wireless connect) can only be activated via the printer software on a Mac or PC. This printer's great for use with those devices and only good on an Android if it's already setup by way of Mac or PC.  It is certainly possible to use the HP Deskjet 2540 All-in-One Printer with an Android tablet only. If you click here you can review the setup instructions I've penned in another thread.  That post also details how to print via Android (ePrint app only in this case). The setup's not exactly hard to execute, but for the novice user it's not the easiest setup method either. Note that this printer does not have the HP ePrint feature (meaning the giftee will not be able to print from the tablet outside the home by way of ePrint).  The HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer can be connected to a wireless network without the help of another device (i.e. a Mac, PC, tablet, smart-phone). The user can touch the wireless button from the printer's front panel and run the Wireless Setup Wizard to connect to their network. Further, this printer is more Android-friendly than the others. It can print via the Android OS built-in print solution, via ePrint, and also via the HP ePrint app.  The added benefit of it being an ePrinter means that the giftee can send it print jobs from any-web connected device by emailing print jobs to its unique ePrint address (as detailed in the ePrint link above). The giftee could also control certain printer features and scan to the Galaxy (Android device) with the HP All-in-One Printer remote.  Thus, two out of the three printers you've listed are compatible with the giftee's Android tablet. Since printing via Android is considered a Cloud service, the user can always call our Cloud Services at 855-785-2777. If they live outside the US/Canada Region, they can click the link below to get the support number for your region. http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html In other words, how-to advice, troubleshooting, and questions are always supported by Cloud Services technicians at no cost to the end-user.  Let me know if you have any other questions about these or other printers. If you liked this post, feel free to give me virtual props by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below and clicking to accept this solution. Thanks for posting in the HP Support Forum. • I dont know the password for my printer. I am trying to print from a galaxy tab.u

I have a deskjet 2544 and when I try to set up my galaxy tab it asks for a password which I do not know. Please help?

    Hi gemmalouise,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are trying to use the wireless network the Deskjet 2544 printer broadcasts to print from your Samsung tablet.
I have included your User Guide. On page 53, in the section titled “Connect wirelessly to the printer without a router”, it will explain that you can find the password by printing the the Wireless Direct information page.
Please let me know how it goes.

  • How to print from samsung galaxy note 8.0 tablet direct to my HP Laserjet professional P1106?

how do i print from my
    samsung galaxy note 8.0 tablet
    direct to my

    Thank you.

    Hi,
I've included setup instructions to follow here for your Android device.
Thank you. But with that, i can only print thru google cloud and print out in a cybercafe, which was helpful.
But what i really want is to use my own printer p1106 without a pc - i don,t have one presently - direct from my galaxy note 8.0. I just purchased an OTG cable and plugged in my printer cable...a pop up notice with the usb icon says PRINTER CONNECTED. That seems hopeful....but where do i go from here? Is there any driver software i can install to print out directly?
Or is there some sort of (pardon my ignorance) printer server that i can use to connect the devices together. My printer does not have wifi nor bluetooth...i assumed there wd be some easy way to print, thats why i just bought this printer....
Is there any way to add a gadget to make the printer accessible by wifi or bluetooth.
I,d be very grateful if any knowledgable patient person cd help me understand the solution. Thanks.

  • Problem printing from a Galaxy Tab S to hp Laserjet 2605 on a wired network

I have downloaded the eprint application to my new Galaxy Tab S. I registered with h_p. I pulled up a .pdf file from my documents. I sent it to the printer. All seems to be working well except for the fact that the documents are printed as solid black pages. I've tried to several times with the same result. In the print dialog box the printers name comes up with it's appropriate i_p address and all seems to be working well until the paper comes out of the printer. Can anyone help me?

    Hi,
I afraid the HP Laserjet 2605 is not supported by the HP ePrint app or any other mobile printing solution for Android.
Only the models listed below are supported for printing from Android and expected to work correctly:

  • Print from samsung galaxy note 10.1 to HP Envy 5532 printer

I have brand new printer HP ENVY 5532 but am unable to print from my samsung tablet without sending an email. The things l need to print are not always email . What do l need to do please keep any replies basic as my IT knowledge limited

    Hi alibow,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I see that you would like to learn how to print from your Samsung Android tablet to your Envy 5532 printer.
It sounds like you have already setup the ePrint feature of the printer as you mentioned that you are able to email a print job. To print other items, such as photos and web pages, please download and install the HP ePrint app onto your Android mobile device. Please note that your tablet needs to be running Android 4.0 or later to use the app. I have included the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ for reference. The document still shows that Android 2.2 or later which is no longer valid.
    Have a wonderful weekend.

    Hi,
I'm not familiar with the activate access control so I wont be able to help you with that.
Have you installed the HP eprint app and tried to print from within the HP eprint app? I think the HP eprint app is your best hope for wireless printing from your device.
If both the printer and phone are on the same network, you should be able to see the printer within the app and print to it.
