Work with MP3 in intermedia

I'm trying to work with MP3 but when i want to save my data i receive a message :
You need ORDPLUGINS.ORDX_MPEG_AUDIO.
I connect with ordplugins user and i see i don't have it, i have MPEG_VIDEO, MPGA_AUDIO, and others but not MPEG_AUDIO.
Is there other form to work with MP3 or where i can found the plugin.

Hi Israel,
We will look for a format plugin when you set the format attribute of the audio object and then call setProperties. If the error you're getting says you need ORDPLUGINS.ORDX_MPEG_AUDIO, this implies you're setting the format attribute to 'MPEG' before calling the setProperties method.
Our format plugin for MP3 is actually called 'ORDPLUGINS.ORDX_MPGA_AUDIO. In order to cause this format plugin to be called, you must either insure that the format is set to NULL or 'MPGA'. If the format is NULL, we'll call our default plugin and try to determine the format. If the format is 'MPGA', we'll call our mpeg format plugin.
Let me know if this isn't your problem.

  • JMF works with MP3's???

I'm just about to develop a MP3 player in Java using JMF.
I've read reports on JMF not working with MP3's?
    Is this true?
    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,
JMF works with mp3. i know there are many articles on the web where they say that some version of JMF supoprts and some doesn't support mp3.I have actually implemented a project using mp3 and h263 support given in JMF.For using mp3 with jmf you first have to download mp3pludin.jar provided from sun.follow the instructions to install it.One very important step is to add the plugin's entry in jmf.properties file. This is a binary file, follow instructions given on mp3 plugin download page as how to edit this file .Then use this property file in your project. It should be able to play mp3.Remember to include correct content type.
    cheers.

  • Apple -- Fix iDVD to work with MP3 audio! Geez...

For months now, iDVD will not burn a DVD if MP3 audio is used in either iMovie HD or iDVD 6.0.3. Apple, fix this ASAP; it's getting to be a real bore. iDVD is advertised as working with iLife, presumably this meant to include MP3 formated audio from iTunes. So come on Apple, get with the program (no pun intended) and fix this!

I am not sure where the joke is. Rendering and compression takes a good deal of time on any platform. The more compression (going to CD) the more time it's going to take. There was a podcast outlining a HD workflow and some of the trade-offs that were made so that each frame wouldn't take 3 minutes to render (keeping in mind that 60 seconds has 1,800 frames, NTSC). Real time compression cards are available, last I looked starting at the $2,000 range. So there are solutions- you just don't like them and expect Apple to do something about it, presumably within the iLife budget. Me too I suppose. But I don't really think that's going to happen.

  • "podcast" media type in options won't work on MP3s in iTunes 11

Why won't "podcast" MEDIA TYPE selection in OPTIONS work with mp3s anymore in iTunes 11? Trying to save some of my mp3s from a class as podcasts. I do this so I can run them at 1.5x speed and get through them faster. The option to change media type to PODCAST, when selected, doesn't stay selected. It keeps defaulting back to MUSIC. This just started with the new iTunes.

  • Html5 audio doesn't work for mp3s.

I can't seem to get tag <audio> working with mp3s on my system(FF 24, Win 7 x64). I tried some wav files, those work ok. But whenever i try to play mp3 file, the html5 player just flashes for a few milliseconds and then disappears. So, is there a bitrate limitation (or any other limitation) for html5 audio tag on mp3s?
Here's an example of code and one of the mp3 files I am trying to use - http://dindo.wz.cz/jukebox.html .
    (file http://dindo.wz.cz/Galaxy32Star4.mp3 )
The console (ctrl+shift+k) gives these errors (rough translation):

  • 1. Working with DV and HDV in the same project     2. importing music error

    1. I am working on a project that was shot with both HD and DV footage. What is the best way to work with both types of files on the same time line so that I can compress them to DV format video?
    2. Also, I am having a problem importing music files into Premier. The error message pops up and says that it has an error compiling movie.I am not sure what setting i need to change to get this to work. I am working with MP3 files like I have done with past projects but nothing seems to work. Please help.

i "I have never worked with with soundbooth but i changed the file type to WAV but had to use IMA ADPCM for the Audio options because I could not save the uncompressed type."
    Ellis,
How did you "change" the MP3 - what program did you use? You might want to explore Soundbooth, as Aanarav suggests. It works well with PP & Encore.
[EDIT] I use Audition, but think Soundbooth would be a good choice, as it is bundled in the Production Studio CS3.
Many folk have problems with MP3 files, for whatever reason. You should be able to convert to PCM WAV from any number of good conversion programs.
I use a fair number of MP3's in PP and have never had any trouble. Some others have never been so lucky.

  • Works with an mp3 tape cassette adapter?

    Well i have two questions.
Will the Iphone work with an mp3 cassette adapter? The one you put in a cars tape deck for those who do not know what I am talking about.
I read that the a new 3G iphone will be released sometime 2008. Some sites have said it would be early 2008. Any credibility to this?

Yes the cassette tape will work but you must get a headphone adapter to make it compatable. I have heard the same rumors but no one really knows except apple.

  • Will any Creative MP3/Video Players Work With Vista Ultimate/Yahoo Music Out of the B

i've had a heck of a time getting my zen touch to work with my new vista ultimate dell pc, almost ready to give up. why i'm even thinking of getting another creative device given the above i'm not sure, but if i was, do any of the current devices (20gb or greater, mostly for music but want video capabilities) work with vista and yahoo music correctly and without a huge amount of heartache? and if not, any other devices i should look at? i really like the yahoo music service so don't want to go the apple route. thx!

iTunes is only intended for iPods and iPhones. In recent releases, Apple has instituted changes that prevent it from being used with other devices, e.g. release 8.2.1 deliberately broke the ability to sync with the Palm Pre.
Since you will be using multiple platforms, make sure that all music that your rip or purchase is in MP3 format. Then your music can be used in iTunes, Creative, or any other player or program, without conversion or compatibility problems.
Per the problem with Zen and Vista, you may wish to try the question on a Zen discussion.

  • TS1490 will iTunes work with a COBY mp3 player?

will iTunes work with a COBY mp3 player?

iTunes will only manage the content on Apple branded devices.
For a 3rd party product use the tools that came with it, Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer. I used to use SyncToy with my iRiver H140 to copy over the compatible files from the music folder of my library into the device.
If you decide to use Windows Media Player read this post first.

  • ICloud: Will it work with non-iTunes music, converted MP3 files and manually organized library folder?

I have a small question about the new iCloud that was introduced.
I listen to music both on my notebook and on my desktop PC. At the moment I use an external hard drive that I keep with me so my music library exists on both computers. If I'm correct the new iCloud means I no longer need the external hard drive.
    But,
Not all my music was purchased through iTunes. Some things are converted from CD's I bought and the CD is different from the iTunes version. (More songs, other songs,...) What happens with the songs that are different, or music that does not exist (I have a QOTSA CD which is not available outside the US iTunes store, or several LE bonus discs)?
Some local artists are not on the iTunes store. Is it possible to sync those to?
And the most important one, I also listen to my music in my car. It has support for an SD-card but no USB support so I can't hook my iPod. It only accepts MP3 files and it needs correctly filled in ID3 tags to show up nicely. I convert all my music with iTunes to MP3, but I use MusicBrainz to tag my music because I found that the iTunes ID3 tags will not be correctly picked up. I'm quite happy with this approach as it also means that I can organize my music library to my liking instead of the "let's throw all artists in one folder" approach iTunes uses. Is it possible to use the iCloud with my MP3 converted and tagged versions of my Music?
    Thanks.

You can only sync to one iTunes library/computer. If you do sync the iPod is erases and its contents replaced with what is in the iTunes library of the second computer.
    To avoid that see:
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities
Yes, the 1G works with the latest iTunes.
    To transfer iTunes purchases:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
In iTunes 11 use Control+B to show the Menu bar then go to iTunes>File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

  • HT1766 I want to put the songs from my MP3 onto my new phone but it just shows all my songs with an exclamation point. How do I convert my songs to work with my iTunes?

I want to put the songs from my mp3 onto my iPhone but everytime I go to do it it shows exclamation points next to my songs. How do I convert them to work with my iTunes and phone?

The "missing file" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then say no when asked to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions. I can provide a step by step guide if you give me the two paths.
In some cases iTunes may be able to repair itself if you go through the same steps and locate the lost track. It may then offer to attempt to automatically fix other broken links. Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use myFindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes.

  • Any other mp3 players work with seagate

any one know other players that works with the seagate st hard dri've. The hard dri've that works with the zen micro?

ollyp wrote:This may be stupid but what would happen if you swapped the hard dri'ves round, would it behave as a rio carbom/dell dj but with the quality of the zen micro. or just not work at all.
You'd probably need to reformat the disk, but as the operating system is contained in the player's ROM, not the hard disk, and the hardware is fundamentally different, it wouldn't make any difference. Don't expect your player to turn into something else!!!

  • What mp3 players work with mac os 9

I got a iPod nano for christmas, and of course it doesnt work on Mac Os 9, so I was hoping that I could get another one, yet I dont know of any that will offically work on my version of mac, can anyone help me out, thanks.

You can use the first and second generation full-size iPods with your model of Mac if it has FireWire ports; these iPods will work with iTunes 2.04 in Mac OS 9. Aside from an iPod, a few other media players are supported by Mac OS 9's iTunes; you can see the available plugins by looking at the contents of the folder Applications (Mac OS 9):iTunes:Plug-ins:Device Plug-ins on your hard disk.
