Workflow calling original class instead of my custom class.

Hi,
I have customized a class and using its method for a task in the workflow. When I test the workflow its still calling the original class method and saying that a parameter is not defined there (the one am passing from workflow via binding).
What could be the problem.

Thank You Mike and others. I am on ECC 5.0 NW04. So is it a problem with HRMSS classes on NW04.
I generated run time version of the workflow. Now I get a different error.
ZCL_HRMSS_RECRUITING_WF method ZCREATENBOBJECT cannot be executed
Method call failed; the method ZCREATENBOBJECT of the class CL_HRMSS_RECRUITING_WF does not exist
Method call failed; the method ZCREATENBOBJECT of the class CL_HRMSS_RECRUITING_WF does not exist "
The workflow still trying to call the original class which I am not using in the task. I copied the original delivered task and changed the underlying ABAP class and its method.
Thanks and Regards.

  • Call enhancement class method from Bus. workflow task

    Hi all,
    I recently enhanced a global class from SAP (add a new method). Now I would like to call it from a workflow task (ABAP Class object used in the task). So it seems that only "native" methods from the class itself can be selected for the object method of the task.
    Same issue if I try to call it via secondary methods options...
    Last idea I have before the repair is: retrieve the instance saved into the WF container via a custom class interfacing IF_IFS_SWF_CONTAINER_EXIT (program exit) and call the enhanced method from the method proposed in this interface.
    Maybe someone had the same issue? Anyone could help or propose solution?
    Many thanks in advance for your help,

    hi
    we need to call java classes (which are written separately in .java file )from jsp file. we need it for our project if anyone knows about please reply us.
    bye
    siva sankari

    you can call the methods in a lot of ways. you could use scriptlets with the
    <%@ page import="package.class"%> and then inside instantiate an object
    <%
         MyClass mc = new MyClass(parameters if any);
         mc.theMethodYouWantToCall();
    %>or as Madathil has stated,
    or use the JSP tags
    <jsp:useBean id="anyname" class="classname"/>and then use the getProperty tag
    or even Custom Tags

    Hi ,
    In your java project frm jdev..right click and choose general and then choose deployment profiles and then choose Jar ..and then give some appropriate name(abc) and then click ok.
    Then under resources file u get a abc.deploy file right click and say deploy to jar ..u will find the jar in that director.Now include this jar in your prjct libraries.

  • Informing agent how call originated

    I have calls originating from several different WATS numbers that are routed to the same loop.
    Calls from 800-xxx-aaaa are routed to a script that queues and redirects the call to the customer service loop via script aaaa.
    Calls from 800-xxx-bbbb are routed to a different script that queues and redirects the call to the same customer service loop as above.
    Our customer service staff need to know which calls originate from the bbbb number, but in either case what they see is the caller ID of the calling party. Changing the caller ID mask for the CTI route point associated with the script doesn't affect what the customer service representative sees.
    How can I pass on the information, either by modifying Caller ID or some other method, so the agent can see how the call originated?
    We are running UCCX 8.5.1 and CM 8.5.1.
    Thanks!

    Unless you're using IPPA, it is assumed that the agent would look at CAD to get this information. The CSQ is shown in the bottom-right quadrant and/or Enterprise Data you chose to show in the bottom-left quadrant can convey this.
    If that's not viable, you can split the Call Control Groups (CCG) ports into small groups and assign the Triggers to a discrete CCG. This would allow you to set the Alerting Name field on each CCG to reflect its use. The downside to this is that CCG ports are licensed in CCX Premium to twice the number of seats licensed and even if you're using CCX Standard/Enhanced, there are system capacity limits. So, if you had a single CCG of 100 then any/all of your Triggers/Applications could have a total of 100 calls in IVR treatment/ACD queue. If you divide that in two, then the Triggers assigned to a CCG cannot exceed 50 concurrent calls, even if the other group has capacity remaining.

  • Calling Main and Extra Pages of Custom Device(s) from LabVIEW

    Hi,
    I am currently evaluating VeriStand (VeriStand 2011) and its control from LabVIEW using .NET APIs.
    I am trying to use LabVIEW to add and configure custom devices for a given system definition file.
    For that I am using a subpanel, the same way it is done in the System Explorer.
    It is almost working.
    I only get errors from VIs that are dynamically called from the Custom Devices API. These VI's are part of an lvlib which is called "Custom Devices Storage.lvlib".
    I can't find this lvlib on my Computer. So, I guess, this error is normal. The only way to get rid of this error would be to load this lvlib in memory, but how ?
    An example of a dynamically loaded VI from the Custom Device API :
    If I can't configure a Custom Device inside my own Human Man Interface, there is no way I use VeriStand in the future. I don't wan't an operator or an administrator to open the System Explorer and change anything else than Custom Devices that may change in several of our test benches.
    Is there a way to do that or should I throw VeriStand to the trashcan ?
    Thanks in advance for your answer(s).
    Regards,

    Hi DaHelmut,
    First of all, I apologize for the lack of applicable replies. What you're attempting isn't something we usually encounter so our team didn't quite understand.
    I'll restate what you want to make sure its clear: You want to make your own version of system explorer fir your team to edit system definitions with. You also want it to support configuring custom devices. Therefore, you need custom devices to work inside your system explorer just like they do inside the shipping system explorer.
    This is technically possible, and I will help you accomplish this with some advice, however I have never seen this done before so it might take us a while to figure out all the issues. Typically people developing a custom GUI for a test bench just use the system definition API directly instead of using custom device's as-is... which is more difficult, and I agree your approach is better if it works. However, most test benches have a known set of custom devices (maybe just XCP/CCP and scan engine) so they only need to use the system definition API for maybe a few custom devices... not any device.
    First things I should mention:
    Editing a system definition, either through your custom gui and therefore through the system definition API, or through the system explorer... always requires a PC or Full development license. An operator licenses will never be able to edit system definitions no matter what.
    There is a set of VIs provided by the ECUMC toolkit to add/remove/edit system definitions with the XCP/CCP custom device. You would have to put your own GUI on top, but the VIs are installed here: <\LabVIEW>\vi.lib\ECUMC\NIVS
    I have an unreleased set of VIs that do the same thing for the scan engine and ethercat custom device I can provide
    If you still want to create your own system explorer thats capable of loading and configuring any custom device, here are some suggestions:
    Custom devices are built into LLBs that include all of their dependencies, so they can be loaded by the LabVIEW run time engine. If you create a VI that loads custom device's, you should be careful to avoid cross linking corrupting your development system or your custom device's. For example your system explorer might use "Get File Extension.vi" from vi.lib, but the custom device you're loading might also use this VI and therefore its linked to a copy inside its LLB. You will know when cross linking happens when the LabVIEW load warning dialog appears saying "vi X loaded vi Y from Z instead of A". If that happens, do not save. To avoid this entirely, it might be easiest to test your system explorer only as a compiled exe.
    As you saw, some custom device API VIs used by custom device developers make dynamic VI calls to an in-memory library named "Custom Device Storage.lvlib". Since this library is part of the shipping system explorer.exe source, these dynamic calls will error when not run inside the shipping system explorer.exe. There are two types that must be handled separately.
    Some custom device APIs like "NI VeriStand - Signal When Ready for Shutdown.vi" just make this dynamic call, and will simply return an error. These are mostly system explorer GUI specific custom device APIs. To avoid this error, you must create and bring this VI into memory yourself. So create that library and the stub VIs you need, then place static VI references to those stub VIs on your custom system explorer's block diagram. That will bring them into memory so when the custom device VIs try to dynamically call them, it will not error.
    Most custom device APIs like "NI VeriStand - Get Item Description.vi" make the dynamic call and instead of simply erroring, they will instead catch the error and switch to using a .NET implementation of the API call. I advise looking at the block diagram of this VI and then the corresponding offline API VIs to better understand this redirect system. Unfortunately, this redirection gets the offline API VI path relative to vi.lib which doesn't exist for exe's. So when you build your custom system explorer into an exe, you will need to place the "NI VeriStand\Custom Device Offline API" folder adjacent to the exe with these VIs for them to be found because the "vi library" primitive returns the exe's directory when inside an exe
    Let me know if that helps or if you have questions.

  • How to call a class that extends a frame from a panel ?

    How to call a class that extends a frame from a panel ?
    I am trying to create an application say "Videoshow"
    Videoshow has a panel which in turn consists of 2 components : 1]a textarea( to show the contents of a page) and 2] a mediaclip(to show the video).
    Now I have an application "MediaApplication"(to show the videoclip) which extends Frame (Code from Java 2 Unleashed, Chap 21). I want to show this MediaApplication in Component 2 of the above panel. But when I do this, I only see the MediaApplication frame instead of the whole SlideShow.
    I want to do something likethis.
    VideoShow :
    |---------------------------------|-------------------|
    | |
    | (Comp 1) | (Comp 2)
    | TEXTAREA | Video Clip
    | |(MediaApp entends Frame)
    |---------------------------------|-------------------|
    What is the best way to achieve this ? Also which component can I use to show the videoclip ?

    im not familiar with the code you mention from Java 2 Unleashed, but your best bet is to read up on Swing a bit - so you get an idea of how Swing containers and components work - then im sure you'll find a solution to your problems. Then if you encounter any difficulties whilst your attempting to do that, post your code in the Swing forum and im sure someone will help you.

  • Problem calling AS3 class's methods from Flex Project

    Sorry if this is a stupid question, but after 2 days of Web
    searching and 2 books give up; I am a Java and c# programmer and am
    having problems calling AS3 classes (in packages) from Flex Builder
    2 Flex Projects; the AS3 classes work great as Flex Builder "AS3
    Projects", but when I try to use the classes in a Flex Builder
    "Flex Project" I am able to see and set their properties, but
    cannot see (through "code completion") their methods (unless the
    class extends another AS3 class; and in that case I can see the
    base class's methods). Here is the code:
    AS3 Example Class:
    package asText {
    public class CheckWord {
    public var strData:String;
    public var strAProperty:String;
    public var intAProperty:int;
    // Constructor
    public function CheckWord() {
    public function TestMethod():void {
    trace("test...");
    public function WordLength():int {
    var intLength:int = 0;
    trace(strData);
    intLength = strData.length;
    return intLength;
    } // From Method WordLength
    } // From Class CheckWord
    } // From Package asText
    The MXML code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <mx:Application xmlns:mx="
    http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml"
    layout="absolute"
    width="442" height="488" horizontalAlign="center"
    verticalAlign="middle"
    backgroundGradientColors="[#c0c0c0, #c0c0c0]"
    xmlns:asTheText="asText.*"
    >
    <asTheText:CheckWord strData="Test words" />
    <mx:Panel title="Welcome to ........" width="337"
    height="393" horizontalAlign="center" verticalAlign="middle"
    layout="absolute" y="15" x="50">
    <mx:Text text="First Name" enabled="true" width="68"
    fontWeight="bold" x="27.25" y="36"/>
    <mx:TextInput id="txtFName" x="112.25" y="34"/>
    <mx:Text text="Last Name" enabled="true" width="68"
    fontWeight="bold" x="27.25" y="66"/>
    <mx:TextInput x="112.25" y="64" id="txtLName"/>
    <mx:Text text="email address" enabled="true" width="87"
    fontWeight="bold" x="17.25" y="96"/>
    <mx:TextInput width="189" id="txtEmail" left="112.25"
    top="94"/>
    <mx:Button id="butSubmit" label="Submit" x="95" y="194"
    click="asTheText:TestMethod();"/>
    ..............and so on ............
    All this does is give me an 1180 error:
    1180: Call to a possibly undefined method TestMethod.
    flexConveyMovie1.mxml

    Thanks, I have it working; I was not assigning an "ID" to the
    "MXML use of the class" (whatever the formal name for that is;
    like: <asTheText:CheckWord id="MyText" strData="The Data" />
    ) and then I was not referencing that ID in what I am refering to
    as calling methods for the Class; like:
    <mx:Button id="butTest" label="Test Function" x="39"
    y="208" click="MyText.TestMethod();"/>
    Also, I did some tests on this, and I am shocked that
    apparently neither of these two "uses"(?) of a custom AS3 class
    actually "call" the Class's constructor. Does that make sense or is
    that the result of how I am structuring this?

  • Calling java classes from plsql procedures

    I'm attempting to call java classes from plsql procedures which will create cmsdk users, folders, groups etc, however when I attempt to load a java class into the oracle schema using the command:
    loadjava -user user/password@database -resolve classname.class
    It generates error messages to the effect that classes (cmsdk classes) required by the class cannot be found. The class is loaded and marked with the status "invalid". Is it therefore necessary for me to load the cmsdk packages into the schema?
    Cheers
    David

    Using CMSDK Java API within the database has never been supported
    (see Problems loading IFS's java class into database
    When we needed to invoke CMSDK code from our PL/SQL code, we used one of two approaches:
    (1) use advanced queues to send requests to an external Java program (the CMSDK code, running outside the database) and receive the results back (asynchronous choice); or
    (2) make an HTTP request to a Java servlet (the CMSDK code, running in some Java web container like iAS) and get the response back in some custom format (XML or something) (synchronous choice).
    It seems to me that the CMSDK Java API was designed to be used only in middle-tier, not in database tier.

    Daniel.

    On an iphone 4s, when I tap the phone number in my contacts list instead of calling the number it goes to a "Welcome to mail" screen with icloud, Microsoft exchange, Gmail, Yahoo, Aol & Windows Live Hotmail listed beneath. How do I make it call the number instead?

    Never heard of that.  I suspect it thinks that's an email address and you're seeing that screen b/c you don't have an email account setup on your iPhone.
    Assuming the number is valid, try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

    Hi,
    I am new in J2EE. I have some jsps, which I configured using web.properties(documentroot=c:/jsp/). I am able to get
    those pages by the web browser. I have some import statements in some jsps, now I
    am trying to access those page but it is failing, it says

    import com.gui.UPMGuiGlobalConstants;
    Actually I have not deployed any class file or jsps.. Now my question is can I access
    these jsps without deploying anything, like can I put my .jar file in any j2ee
    directory(like lib or anywhere else, I already tried after putting in /lib) and restart the
    j2ee and use it. So how can I call a class file from a jsp without any kind of
    deployment?
    Please send me the reply as soon as possible.
    Regds,
    Pradip

    After you put the jar containing the class to import into the WEB-INF/lib directory, you still need to include it in the jsp.
    Putting the jar into the lib dir, will make it available to the vm, but as in any other java class, you still need to import it into the class, that the jsp will be compiled into.
    And you do that by putting
    <%@page import="com.gui.UPMGuiGlobalConstants" %>somewhere near the top of your jsp. (well you don't need to put it there, but it good style ;)
    That should do it.

  • How can I call the Class and have a PDF appear in seperate window?.

    I would like to call the class/interface ZCL_UIU_PRN_ACCOUNT2, method Collect_data and have a Smartform executed to produce a PDF document in a Seperate window.
    Where I have an issue is in opening another window to display the PDF.
    I know the Standard PDF Facsheet does exactly this, but that is triggered via the Web browser and calls a Java script, avoiding and events and round-server trip processing. I would have changed the button values so that when pressed it does process the various events and eventually ends up at EH_ONPREVIEW for the BP_HEAD/Overview. I know just need to open a new window and call the process to create the PDF via Smartform.
    Any suggestions would be more than welcome. I have spent so much time on this, and have gained no real ground, so far.
