Workflow mails failing due to Recepient size in SOST
Hi All,
My workflows are failing due to the recepient length in SOST, it was only 35 characters. Is there any way to increase the length?. It was happening like this, is a person mail id length is more than 35 characters including @ company.com, appearing in SOST xyzxyzxyzxyzxyzxyzxyzxyzxyzxyzxyz@ab instead of person@abc com , so there is no mail going to the person. Please help.

Well this indeed is something new.
VT there is one workaround. You will need the help of the mail server administrator.
The idea is to create a short email id for all such users and set an auto forward to their actual long email ids "at the mail server level"
So it works like this
1. Original mail id - abc...xyz@domain (more than 35 chars)
2. Create a short email id abc@domain
3. At mail server set an autoforward rule from abc@domain to abc...xyz@domain

Netapp case has been raised and confirmed there is no issue with the WFA application, no clue to diagnose the issue.
Execution fails continously 3 or 4 runs then get success, intermittent failure occurs.

MDW collection failing due Network Packet Size
Need a work around for MDW collection. Network pkt size gt then 16,383 bytes.http://tinyurl.com/mc9nzkq

Could anyone teach me how to troubleshooting these errors in log of mailer?
My customer made mailer available through OAM and could send notification.
However, a lot of errors were found in log of mailer.

We are using Oracle E-Business Suit R12. It happens few times that Workflow Notification Mailer fails (unknown reason), thus stopping all the upcoming alerts.
1). Please tell me if there is way to identify those unknown reasons?
2). Secondly is there any way that before Workflow Notification Mailer fails generate an alert on just before failure?

Jabber call to voice mail fails with fast busy over VPN
I have an issue that I ran into with CIPC phones over a VPN. If a CIPC phone called over a VPN and started ringing a phone the call would fail with fast busy at the time the call would be forwarded to voicemail. I found the issue was when remote the CIPC phone would negotiate the g.729 codec, when forwarded to a voicemail pilot over a SIP trunk set to g.711 the call would fail due to codec missmatch when no transcoders are present.
So now I am running into what I believe to be the same issue with Jabber, when on premise the calls to voice mail work just fine, but when remote they fail. I can directly call the voicemail pilot without error, but if calling a phone the call gets fast busy at the point we are forwarded to voicemail. Even though all my regions are set to talk to all other regions on G.711 and the voicemail SIP trunk is set to G.711, I believe with the new features in CUCM9 that a lower speed codec has been negotiated since the we are going over the VPN, or Jabber has done this as it knows it's over VPN (not sure). WIth CIPC I could go into the settings and turn off the Optimize for Bandwidth check box and the call would negotiate G.711. With Jabber I can't find anything that would tell my Jabber client to stay on G.711 and I can only imagine this is a codec missmatch as the following are true.
1. CIPC and Jabber share the same line
2. VPN established and CIPC optimised for low bandwidth un-checked
3. Over the same VPN the CIPC phone can leave a voicemail
4. Over the same VPN the Jabber client gets fast busy once forwarded to voicemail
5. Voicemail environment is Exchange-UM over SIP trunk
6. SIP trunk is assigned a Device Pool, that is assigned to a region that all other regions communicate G.711 to
7. On CIPC if optimised for low bandwidth is checked I get the exact same issue as I get with the Jabber client (fast busy when forwarded to voicemail)
Would anyone know what I can do in CUCM 9 to fix this issue, as said no issue when all devices are on premise. Wondering if there is a service parameter or a way to change the codec selection so the Jabber client attempts to always negotiate G.711. The correct answer would be to get some PVDM DSP resources and kick up a transcoder in my resource group, and that may be what I talk them into doing if I have no other options.We have been getting the exact same thing for almost a year now... since switching to FiOS Digital Voice in May of last year! Every time I call in to report it they 'escalate' the issue but it never gets resolved. The problem seems to be in the initial connection. Most of the time it works fine but, several times a month, after I call to get messages and it starts to play the new message it goes dead and I get the busy signal. I get the same message when I call back: “I’m sorry – that account is in use at this time. Please try again later!” I have even called in with my cell phone and get the same message! I HAVE EVEN used the Internet to see if I could get my messages and, when I hit Play, I get a pop-up saying: “Your Voice Mail box is currently in being accessed; please try again later. If the problem continues, please contact our Customer Support Center at 1-888-553-1555. We apologize for any inconvenience.” This is obviously a software bug that Verizon has no clue on how to troubleshoot OR fix!!! I wonder how many people have the problem and just don’t bother reporting it because of the hassle? When it first started happening they destroyed my entire mailbox and I had to re-enter the complete mailbox setup again – 3 times!!! NEVER let them talk you into that!!! It’s their problem and they need to fix it!!!!!!! I wish I could go back to the ‘normal’ voicemail we originally had… they want hundred$ to switch back because I’d be breaking my #$@%^&* contract! Issue in workflow mailer configuration
Hi all,
I have to configure notification mailer, for that I have an IP address of smtp server and an email username and password. Using these 3 details I can configure the mail in MS Outlook and send/recieve mails. When I give the same details in Notification mailer page, I am getting relaying denied error. Please help me in resolving this.
Our environment is R12.1.3 on AIX 6.1

Skype number payment FAILED Due to change in debit...
1.) My 3-month reoccuring billing cycle for Skype number: xxx xxx xxxx failed due to the debit card number changed.
2.) I have deleted ALL other payment methods and inserted the current active card (ending in xxx xxxx but the xxxxxxxx Swedish Krona owing has yet to be retreived and paid.
3.) It appears my Skype number may be cancelled? I do NOT want to lose the use of this number!

I have tried to develop a file to file scenario in XI 3.0. The Sendor File adapter is reading the file but the message is not getting transfered to Integration engine.
The audit log for the message is as follows:

This problem comes due to the post installation steps might be at the time of post installation some wrong might be done.
step1 : In sxmb_adm configure the integration server by giving the path as http://<host>:<abapport>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
step 2 : Check ur business system created at the time of post installation there u need to main the path as it as above.

Infopackage in process chain failing due to short dump on regular basis.

There is a daily process chain in which one of the element (infopackage) fails due to short dump on regular basis (At least twice in a week) please find the message below

We are able to resolve it just manual update and the process goes fine no issues but my question here is what is the exact reason for this and how to resolve it permanently or decrease the frequency of the error.
Please if any one can tell the root cause and the solution to avoid the issue in future on regular basis.
and also can any one elaborate what is ARFCSTATE = SYSFAIL,for trfc check we don't have access to SM58 in ECC side
and trfc is fine in bw side

musaiYou can contact your BASIS person he can help you reg table space issue. it says used space is 98% and free space is 1.03%.
ask your basis to set a threshold to check the space and send a mail notification to all daily regarding the space allocation and utilization.
ARFCSTATE = SYSFAIL means the TRFC did not processed properly to the BW system from source.
Monitoring object with information about tRFC and qRFC calls that are waiting to be executed in this system; after they have been executed, they are deleted from table ARFCRSTATE.
Are there any hung TRFCs which are not processed to BW side. have you checked it
first check
load monitor -- menu -- environment -- job overview -- status of job(is it finsihed or not?) - check the job log -- ther try to find out the hung TRFc
press find --tyep "sysfail" ok -- it will display all the hung or fialed TRFCs which are not processed to BW system.
if you find the hung TID with respect to your load.. next goto SM58 trasaction to process the trfcs manually or use the load monitor menu -- environment -- transaction RFC -- source sys -- it will take you to same SM58 screen -- click F8 it will display the hung TRFc in that duration.
select the TRFc and click on F6 to process them manually.
also check the loackwaits anddead locks in ST04/DB6COCKPIT.( ask basis to check) if any dead locks are there they will take care of it.
check for short dumps in st22 if any and try to analyse.
Check the SM21 system logs. -
