Workflow not showing in started workflows

Hi all,
I developed one workflow by using the user developed business object.
I am triggering this workflow from abap program by using the function module 'SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT'.
Workflow is getting triggered from every id as i checked it by SWEL.
If i execute the program from my id it getting triggered and showing in outbox as started workflows, if i did it from other id
it is not coming in his outbox of started workflows.
I checked the authorisation roles and profiles of both ids , they are same.
what might be the problem, can anbody help?

I got the answer , actually I didn't experience it before with site workflows , it shows where we create a list just beside you can find site workflows, off course feature activation is necessary after that for workflow activation this is the way.

Why do the project server custom workflow not getting a start?

I created a custom workflow for project server using visual studio 2012 and the workflow worked fine in all environments. Recently we had a new environment in which Autosp Installer was run. I
deployed my workflow in the new Environment and the workflow is not at all starting.It throws out an error which i posted below.I surfed through net and found that most of the people getting this error would have an exception. In my case I dont have any exception
and the workflow fails to start.

it would be difficult to say what may have gone wrong, but as the error message suggests check the ULS log with the correlation Id and that should give you more details

Assign-To-Do task for groups not showing in My workflow task webpart

I work with Nintex My workflow task webpart. I have couple of assign to do task actions in my workflow.
There if Assigned To is Initiator task is added to My workflow task webpart and if Assigned To
is a group, then task is not added to My workflow task webpart.
I want to know is that the behavior of Nintex, or something went wrong in my implementation.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to display the tasks assigned to a group in Nintex My workflow task web part.
From the link below we can know that the Nintex My workflow task web part can only query for tasks for the user (queries the database), it only queries based on their login name, not on group membership.

Application services not showing as started - Not able to login

I have finished cloning.
EBS - 11.5.10.2
OS - HP-UX
DB - 10.2.0.4
I have updated the ICX_PARAMETERS and started the application services.
But it just shows the below.

After I have finished at a site and want to go back to the start page the "go back arrow" does not show the start page how can I fix this

I am using Fire fox 3.6.15 which was updated on the March 6th.
The Start Page will open and allow me to go to any site but when I want to return to the Start Page via the 'go back arrow' the Start Page is not listed.
I am wondering if it is part of the new upgrade.

It's actually not hard to fix. I had the same problem on my Bold 9700. You need to go to the main desktop on your Blackberry, and find the Messages icon (it looks like an envelope - same-looking icon as your email icon). Click on it, then scroll thru the messages. You'll find a message with same annoying little yellow circle icon, and the URL of the web site you tried to access when your Blackberry powered down. Click on the URL, and let your Blackberry load that web site. Voila! After that, the Browser Notification Icon will have disappeared.
I wish that future versions of the Blackberry OS will alow you to click directly on the notification icon and get taken to the relevant app (as happens in Windows). As is stands, the notification icons are more annoying than useful.

Generic object services (GOS) - Start workflow box is allways empty

Dear colleagues,
i have installed a brand new IDES ERP 6.0 successfully but when entering a number of standard transactions like mm02, va03, fb03 etc and trying to execute the GOS toolbox, I can never start any workflow. I click on the 'start workflow' button of the GOS-toolboy but the selection box is allways empty. Did I miss anything? Since there are so many BOR objects that apply to the objects of the standard transactions, there should be at least something to start. For example BOR BUS1001 (material master): When in MM02, why does the GOS-toolbox for workflows not show the related workflows that use BUS1001?

You should start a new discussion - you'll get more responses.
Anyhoo, to make a workflow appear in the GOS 'start workflow' list, just follow these simple rules:
- confirm which BOR object is involved in your transaction (eg BUS1001006 for MM03)
- make sure that the BOR object is a mandatory input of your workflow
- make sure that there are no other mandatory inputs
- make sure that the workflow (WS*) is set to 'General Task' (nb this is client dependent)
Once all these things are done, refresh the buffer (SWU_OBUF) and it should work.

Workflow not picking in the agent

Hi SRM Experts,
We are doing an SSp implementation on SRM50. Here we are stuck with the workflow for shopping cart approval. We have done all the settings including the event linkage activation and agent determination.
But here the workflow works fine if we manually assign the agent. otherwise it is not picking up the agent and it shows'Adhoc Agent not found'. What could be the reason for the same. Please suggest.

3) N- STep

Further to the above please check wether the manager has been maintained for the requestor in ppoma_bbp.
In the case of classic workflows --> managers are determined by the system from org structure.

Server started in RUNNING mode not showing in Startup Log File when MS Starts

When we start OSB Managed Server, server status is showing Running Status in Web logic console and it is also serving the requests. but in server Start up log file, it is not showing 'Server started in RUNNING mode' after it started.
this behavior is only for 4 managed servers in cluster of 6 managed servers. other 2 managed servers are starting and showing the message correctly.
please some body show some light on it as we need to fix this issue urgently.

Workflow status column is not showing the internal status values (Inprogress, Started, Suspended, Completed)

I've created SPD 2013 workflow and deployed them onto that document library, This workflow execute on item update event. When updating library item, workflow triggered and completed successfully but workflow status column is not
showing the Internal Status values rather it is showing the Stage information. I've unchecked the "Automatically update stage name on workflow status" and republished the workflow. After that, it is still showing the stage information. Any help

It is by design that 2013 workflow will show stage name in the workflow status column when
Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name is checked.
And the workflow status column will be blank when Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name is unchecked.
For existing workflows, the workflow status will still exists with the previous values after unchecking Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name.
We can use Set Workflow Status action to update the workflow status value based on our needs.

Not able to start out of the box approval workflow programmatically

We have a requirement to start an out of the box workflow from a .NET web service.
We are using the StartWorfklow method:

we are getting the below error message at the above line of code: Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation.. Data: System.Collections.ListDictionaryInternal
Then, we tried:
SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges(delegate()
        wfManager.StartWorkflow(item, association, association.AssociationData,
SPWorkflowRunOptions.Synchronous);
Now, the workflow got canceled automatically with "Failed on Start" status. In the "Workflow History", it is showing 2 records with "was canceled by System Account." & "failed to start" in the description
column.

is used, there are no errors showing up and code gets executed. However, the workflow failed to start.

2. The workflow starts with no issues through UI. I tried it using "System Account" and another account.

Workflow not starting for a customized Application

It is a simple Applictaion but the Workflow not starting. when we submit the the form after filling up the form the error is showing as Check supervisor error. But the data in the system is showing the Correct supervisor. The Activity ins the Workflow details is showing as Stuck and Error.

Hi,
First of all that blog is old and now you should install Workflow Manager Refresh 1.0. To start fresh, uninstall all components of WF Manager from the server and then follow below mentioned steps.
Download Microsoft Web Platform Installer 5.0 on a machine where Internet is there.
Once Installed, go this path in command prompt C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer and then use this command WebpiCmd.exe /offline /Products:WorkflowManagerRefresh /Path:C:\temp
Copy the temp folder to the WF Manager machine where you wish to install the WF Manager
In destination server, use command prompt with elevated privileges and navigate to the temp/bin directory (in copied folder).
Use this command WebpiCmd.exe /Install /Products:ServiceBus_1_1 /XML:C:\temp\feeds\latest\webproductlist.xml
Then run this command WebpiCmd.exe /Install /Products:WorkflowClient /XML:C:\temp\feeds\latest\webproductlist.xml
Then run this command WebpiCmd.exe /Install /Products:WorkflowManagerRefresh /XML:C:\temp\feeds\latest\webproductlist.xml

Workflow link not showing in enterprize manager system components

Hi,
I just started with Oracle Apps and have installed infra, midtier , midtierjsp and a remote repository.
As part of the install I installed OWF.
Problem is it does not show up in the midtier system components.
I restarted all components and servers severl times with no luck.
I opened a tar with Oracle and poor response.
I got a metalink article : 265554.1 and I followed the instructions there , which was exactly what I did prior, but still no OWF showing.
Below is the last lines from ny workflow install. Any help will be greatly appreciated and this is rather urgert.
