Working with instruments? how?

Hi,
I'm new here and I have a question.
I created a simple game app and it's done, I'm ready to upload it to iTunes - my question is: how can I use instruments to check the total memory used by my app, since I don't really have an iPhone to test my app on I wish to test it with the applications given by apple in the official SDK.
~Please bring tutorials or explain yourself how to use those apps...

If you can't actually test your app for real on a device then why do you expect people to pay and download it to test on their devices?
The simulator is not the phone. Many things are different (memory available, user experience, speed, etc) Without a device to test it on you have no idea (even with instruments on the simulator) how well your program will work. Some calls are supported on the simulator and not the device.
File access and naming can be different between the two. You and the users may both be surprised, and not in a good way.
Please consider getting at least a touch to really test it on (or borrow a friends). If you want to develop for a platform you're going to have to make an investment in the platform.

I don't see any code that would explicitly or implicitly make it use

I recently downloaded the latest version of Firefox. Before Downloading 1Password worked great! Now it will not put in passwords. I tried Safari and 1Password works great! How do I get 1Password to work with Firefox?

MIght be corrupted Safari preferences (.plist)
Quit Safari.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Safari/Extensions/Extensions.plist
Click Go
Move the Extensions.plist file from the Extensions folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari. Try adding an extension.

Why are tabs that say redirecting open and have nothing to do with the site i am working with and how do i stop this

Using a plugin that only works with CS3 (how to downgrade CS4 to CS3)

I work for a company that sells HP Indigo Presses
HP have produced a plugin called Smartstream Designer which is used to create varible data jobs for the press
Unfortunately at the moment, this plugin only works with Indesign CS3
I have a number of customers who have recently purchased new Apple macintosh computers and the latest version of Indesign (ie CS4)
(1) Is there any way for them to downgrade their copy of Indesign so they can use this plugin
At some time in the future the plugin will be updated to work with CS4 and when that happens they will need to upgrade
(2) will there be any problem performing this upgrade at a later date?

The only way to downgrade would be to find a CS3 license on the open market, an iffy proposition as authorized resellers no longer have older versions available. The CS4 license would still be fine in the future.

Firefox didn't say that. Firefox only disables Firefox add-ons that aren't compatible with the new version of Firefox. It doesn't do anything with the actual AV program.
Check with your AV vendor for an update for Firefox 6 compatibility.

Working with Drumloops; How do you treat yours in mixing?

Hey guys,
I just bought the disc from www.sessionloops.com with all the various musical drum styles "You Too 90's" "Slow Floyd", etc. I really like them! They sound great and are cheap compared to alot of other companies...
Anyway, if anyone else is dealing with drum loops...how do you treat them? Do you leave them un-eq'd? I am assuming alot of eq'in was done when the drum tracks were recorded originally.....do you add additional eq'in and compression to these loops?
Any information would be amazing! Share your stories with me please

Yeah try some of the GB EQ's from the menu, often they work well and give you just enough for what you need.
Such as the settings:
"Add Fullness To Snare" or "Add Brightness" Or "Add Sharpness" or the like for Hi hat or snare EQ.
Also:
"Enhance Bass Drum" Or "Big Drum" that kind of EQ Preset for more impact.
These presets will help you enhance the areas you need. As your sonic perception for EQ becomes more sophisticated you can move on to more advance EQ devices. But these presets should be pretty good!

I need to install 3.6 Firefox to work with SiteBuilder, how can I get a Download for MAC?

This create the report just fine BUT it does NOT create a landscape report. My report is still potrait. What have I done wrong or how to force it so it shows landscape?

either swap height & width or change orientation to portrait. your custom height
& width already layout as landscape.

Can u expalin about slcm, how to work with that, how to import into EP

My norton cards and logins has stopped working with firefox. how do I fix this?

I depend heavily on my Norton Cards and Logins Tab. I noticed that it has disappeared from my FireFox window and I have not been able to put it back. Is there an issue I don't know about or some way to fix it?

Hello, I've lost my iPhone 4s which is black, contains 16gb and cracked screen. I have been looking in and out of the internet. Since i found my serial number can i somehow locate the phone? I know the app Find my lost iPhone. But only problem is i didnt connect it to my iphone when i had it. Its technically not my phone anymore (use it for my ipod)

If you did not activate Find my iPhone then you've truly lost it. Unless, of course, you or someone else finds it? There is no way using the serial number and before you ask the IMEI number.

Isolated Wave too small to work with, how do I increase size

I use wave files I record myself. In the old version of Garageband when I double clicked on the wave in the track window it came up larger and editable. Now it comes up too small and impossible to work with. How can I increase the size of the wave?

What do you mean by "too small"? Are you talking about the way the audio waveform is displayed? You can change the vertical size by changning the height of the Editor window, and horizontally you can zoom in and out using the slider on the lower left edge of the screen.
Or is it that your window is big enough but your waveform is small? That would mean that the audio level of your recording isn't high enough.
