WorkSpace Studio as eclipse plugin

I found a problem when my workspace studio installation is starting, and i found that the error is related to some bug on eclipse 3.2.
The solution is easy. I have to replace or downgrade the version of the xulrunner library, but after doing that firefox does not start since it's built with the other version. I thought wlp 10.3 uses a newer version of eclipse but i think i'm wrong since the probelm persists.... so the question is ... is there any package of workspace studio as a plugin for an existing eclipse installation?
andi if so, where can I download it?

I have the same problem as mentioned above. If anybody knows
solution for it then please tell me.

I uninstalled everything, went in regedit, deleted all weblogic keys references.
Always the same problem. Im starting to loose patience... i have rarelly seen something like that.
    Edit:
I also tryed with a Server version 10.3.2.0. (I abandonned 10.3.1.0 since i cannot even create the instance in eclipse)

  • Zend Studio for Eclipse and Flex - Impossible?

I've been going in circles all day trying to get the Flex
plug-in to work in the Eclipse installation that installs with Zend
    Studio for Eclipse.
The offshore dork for Zend said, "No now for plug-in for
Studio." So I guess that means I have to install Eclipse with Zend
Studio for Eclipse and then the Flex plug-in. But it appears the
Flex plug-in is baffled by the Eclipse 3.4 version that installs
    with Zend Studio for Eclipse.
Many errors about please choose the correct folder etc. The
installation of the Flex 3.0 plug-in can be completed but fails
when trying to edit an mxml file with, "Could not open the editor:
    Assertion failed."
There is a Flex updater to 3.0.1 which claims to support
Eclipse 3.4 but not for the plug-in as far as I could tell.
Attempting to use the Flex 3.0.1 updater on the Flex 3.0
plug-in installation in the Zend Studio for Eclipse directory
    completely befuddles the installer.
Can anyone point me in some new directions for a solution?
Does Adobe have phone support any longer?

  • Setting monitoring and SLA Alerts via Workspace studio

    Hi,
Is it possible to set monitoring and SLA Alert rules via workspace studio. If yes, could you please help me how to do it.
    Thanks
    James

    Hi..
Operational settings such as enabled, tracing, monitoring etc are easily set within eclipse by editing with the text editor rather than the proxy editor..
The SLA Alerts are possible to modify in the same way, but they're a bit more tricky to figure out..

  • Eclipse Plugins

    Hi,
I installed EP6 sneak preview, Netweaver developer studio and also installed the PDK6(which is a business package).  Since Netweaver developer studio is not having the JSPDynPage template, I want to use Eclipse.  What Eclipse plugins should I install to work with EP6 sneak preview.  I saw in iviewstudio.com and couldn't find any.  Please let me know.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Look under eLearning on how to develop JSPDynPage in Net Weaver Developer Studio. They have lot of information there. If you cannot find it let me know.
FYI: NWD Studio has a JSPDynPage Template under New->Other option. Check it out.
    Thanks

  • Kodo 3.1.4 and Eclipse plugin

I'm currently migrating from Kodo 2.5.3 to Kodo 3.1.4, and as I'm using
Eclipse have decided to give the Eclipse plugin a go. I've followed the
documentation (@15.6), and am now attempting the Eclipse Sample from the
documentation (@15.6.4). The documentation has seemed slightly incomplete,
but I assume that's just me using Eclipse 3.0 with the doumentation being
    written for WSAD 4.
However, when I clean the project or run the enhancer I get the following
    error:
<error>-The Enhancer failed. The message included was:
    {0}
         org.apache.commons.lang.exception.NestableRuntimeException: Animal
    <info>-Done.
This message doesn't seem to be giving me any info that would help me
track down the problem, so hopefully somebody has seen it beforehand in
these circumstances and can help me out?
    Cheers,
    Matt

Stephen, the stack trace is as below. Apparently the Animal class isn't
being found...? - How does the Kodo plugin look for / find it? - Eclipse
itself has no trouble compiling it. Do I need to somehow configure my
classpath separately for the Kodo plugin?

  • Unable To Find Source While Debugging in Workspace Studio

I am running a jsf and Spring enabled web app in Workspace studio 1.1. I have two projects in the same workspace that are components used by the web app. When debugging I am unable to step into the code in those projects, although the debugger appears to recognize the breakpoints.
I have tried including the projects in the java build path of the web app, and also tried including them as jars in a lib folder and then trying to 'attach source' to the jars. Neither one works. When I just include the projects in the build path, I am able to build the web app, but unable to deploy it. The spring context servlet is unable to find the classes in those projects and the app fails to deploy. When I include them as jars, I can build and deploy, but am unable to 'attach source'.
Any ideas as to what the problem may be? I've done both of the things described above in Eclipse in the past with no issues.

I have been trying to install the Eclipse Plugin for Kodo.

Michael, you would be correct. We defer to Eclipse's preference

something like that) which is also a .properties file at

  • Eclipse Plugin Problems

    Hello All,
I do not know if you are all using the eclipse plugin or if you are using jdeveloper. I do not want to use jdeveloper if possible (we have been using eclipse for some time, and to install jdeveloper just for it's bpel editor seems too heavy.)
It seems that the eclipse plugin requires all of the project artifacts for a BPEL process to be in the actual eclipse project folder. When I move it outside the project and create a linked folder to the artificats the plugin complains with javascript errors and fails to show the bpel process or perform a build.
it's an odd dependency. Has anyone else observed this? Am i out to lunch here? :)

I also use a workspace just for BPEL. I think that the plug-in is somehow cohesive with the project directory. Meaning that; you can’t just open a BPEL file and have it work. It needs the BPEL file to be in a valid project. This stinks when you start to consider the management of BPEL projects. Project file contain machine specific information. So If I check a BPEL project in to CVS, my peers may not be able to check it out and have it work because their setup is not the same as mine. I typically do not have anything in the eclipse project except references to my check-out area.
I do have some questions about the fate of the eclipse plug in. Will Oracle continue to develop it? Release it to open source? Or abandon it for JDeveloper only. If the eclipse plug in is going to continue they should fix the problem we are discussing.

    Ping

    Ping,
The use of FileStore Eclipse Plug-in should only be used by developers familiar with the Netweaver Developer Infrastructure (NWDI) and the NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS). Strategy Management is a deployed NetWeaver project and so changes have to be done using NetWeaver Developer Studio.
Current documentation for SSM is available by clicking the HELP button within the application. That directs you to the section on http://help.sap.com directly related to that section. PAS Help is attached to the application and won't be found at help.sap.com. To access that click on the Help button in the PAS interface. Help is not going to include any information about an Eclipse Plug-in.
There is additional documentation controlled by SAP Education. There hasn't been many classes for SSM scheduled over this past year, but there is OKT - which is the online education material. There is a cost for accessing this material. The OKT material for SSM 7.5 has about 22 hours of recorded instruction that you can access, with the ability to download slides for further review (although printing of slides is disabled). My understanding is that in the 7.5 OKT material is a section entitled Integration Enhancements that provides information about using a plug-in. It is not a step-by-step guide as the assumption is that you would be familiar with NWDS.

Any pointers what I'm doing wrong here?
(Another data-point: when I moved the sources to the laptop of a collegue,
and we try to generate the schema there, the plugin complains about not
having any JDO metadata available for the class RelationOperator - which
is the type of the field 'operator' that gives the NPE.
    I'm using KODO-JDO 2.5.0RC2)
    --Tim

    Tim-
This seems to be a problem with ClassLoader interactions; it will be
fixed for the next 2.5 RC (or final release). Thanks for pointing it
    out.

    Hi,
When running the Schematool from the Eclipse-plugin or from the ANT-task,
    I get a NullPointerException. The ANT-plugin gives a more-or-less usefull
exception-traceback, the Eclipse-plugin doesn't give any useful hints.
The funny thing however is that from the commandline it all works!--

  • Can't install eclipse plugins

    Hey guys.
I've just installed arch since yesterday.  pacmanning & configuring xorg and a DE (xfce went pretty smooth), also installing a jre and eclipse went nice.
But now, i want to install many plugins for eclipse. (EMF, subclipse, phpeclipse,...)
So i add the urls, i select the ones i want, i accept the licences, i choose mirrors, the files download, i click "install all" when the warning prompts me that the plugins are unsigned.
But then it fails, no matter which plugin, the problem is always pretty similar:
Unable to complete action for feature "Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) Documentation" due to errors.
      Unable to create file "/opt/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.doc_2.2.1.v200609210005/META-INF/MANIFEST955702245598.MF".

when trying subclipse, i the error said something like "permission denied when writing opt/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.sublipse......TMP"

    okay, it worked.. sort off..
i had to do those commands on /opt/eclipse, not just on /opt/eclipse/plugins, because some data had to be written in other subdirectories then just plugins.
But now my problem is: i'm in an x-session as user dieter, i start eclipse, so it runs as user dieter, i install plugins, i'm prompted if i want to restart ecliipse, i choose yes.
After that: eclipse prompts me for what my workspace should be, it suggests: /root/workspace?? And when checking out the "new software" thing, most of my url's for plugins are gone?? It's like eclipse is running as user root, instead of user dieter? (since it doesn't use my settings, but those of user root?)  Even when starting a new x-session and launching eclipse again, it keeps on behaving like this  :?
However it's not running as root, here's a piece of ps aux

so why does it behave so funny, and how do i fix it?
