Wrong ATP check when modifying VA02 ( Flexible Planning)

Hello Gurus,
I encounter a problem in checking material availiabilty for client as below:
+ Firstly define the Planning for customer with MC94
For example :
material MAT1
Base unit of measure : PC ( Piece)
Unit of sale : Carton ( 1 carton = 10 PC)
(Base unit of measure for this info structure is CARTON)
M01.2010 : 3 CARTON
M02.2010: 3 CARTON
M03.2010: 4 CARTON
When creating VA02 for :
Date : 04.02.2010
Order quantity : 4
When checking the material availibity : It's OK
For M01.2010 : It take 3 CARTON
For M02.2010 : It takes 1 CARTON
But When I modify this sale order for changing the quantity to 5 CARTON, In the check ATP it displays in a wrong way with strange number and decimal places
For example:
M01.2010 : 0.02
M02.2010 : 2
How can we resolve this ? Is there any SAP notes for this ?
Thanks in advance

Hi mohan
Thank you for sparing time.
I am confused Mohan.
First of all I have one query:
1) Is it mandatory to do Transport and Shipment scheduling in APO only if we go for only Basic Methods implementation like Product Availability and Allocation in APO.
Third scenario you mentioned gave you a Sunday delivery(start of week 21) and random results in the first two scenaros can be explained by absence of scheduling.
Please see my explaination of my third scenario:
Third Scenario:
When I create sales orders  today by giving Customer Requested Date with 24.05.2010.(Which is on coming Monday)
When I check in Item Availabilty :
System is proposing following Dates:
Schedule Line Date =24.05.2010
MAD Date = 22.05.2010
When i click Prod Allocation Button in Check item Availability Sceen, Confirmed Date as 23.05.2010.
The Incoming order Qty assignment for this Order is for the Week 20 2010 in APO Planning Book, where as it should be saved in Week 21 2010 in Planning Book.(We have weekly Planning Books)
In ECC , System is taking Delivery date as 24.05.2010.
If you dont mind to give  your male address i can send the Screen shots.
Regards
Deva

  • Error on ATP check when Creating a Sales Order

    Hello,
I encounter error  on ATP check while creating a Sales Order.
The error is when I create Sales Order using material A, with or with out indicating the Plant and Storage Location, the Purchase Order quantity is returned on ATP check, but when I create an SO with out indicating the Plant and Storage Location, no PO quantity was returned. Note that we applied SAP Note # 387482 to automatically determine the Storage Location. I have also checked material maintenance in MM03 of Materials A and Material B and nothing was different, they have the same Availabity check condition.
Is it possible that the SAP note that I applied causes the error?
By the way I have noticed that when I create Material B and manually populate the Plant and Storage Location there is a pricing error(but it returns the PO during ATP check).
    Thanks.

  • How to ATP check when sold to party in sales order is changed?..

    Dear SD Gurus,
I have one issue with ATP check in my current project where I need to change the the Sold to party of the sales order for a valid business case. We are using production allocation method for ATP check which reduces the Open PA qty once the sales order is saved.
In the above scenario, once the Sold to party in sales order is changed, it redetermines everything and also goes through a ATP check which is cusing as an issue as it would again reduce the open PA qty for the same items in sales order for which are already taken into account. It would either reduce the open qty or propose the next date if it is no more available on that day.
This is a big issue for us. Also it deleted the texts that are maintained.
Does anyone know how to stop the ATP check in this (main issue) and also if possilble stop the deleteion of texts?
Thank you very much for your help in advance..

    Hello SAJU,
The ATP check is done automatically when sold to party is changed..the issue is how to stop it? beacause of production allocation , it would be incorrect to reduce the open PA qty once more for the sales order when sold to party is changed. So I would like to stop it. Is there any exit or paramater by which we can stop ATP check?

Currently, SAP standard functionality takes up the lead times maintained in material master to create the schedule lines in the sales order in VA01. • Disable Re-ATP check when ship to party is changed...

    Dear Folks,
    My scenario is as follows,
    1. Create a sales order in VA01.
    2. fill material and plant.
    3. click save or hit enter button.
    4. an ATP check will be carried out and the subitem will be created as item number 0011 under 0010 as per the availability configuration.(in your system it may not create subitem)
    5. now change the ship to party number and hit enter.
Now the ATP check will take place again with regard to the changed ship to party data.
but we want to restrict ATP check in this scenario. ATP should not trigger / the values of the first ATP check should remain same even thoe the Ship to party is changed.
can anybody give me a clue? Full points will be awarded.

Because you are changing Ship-To on the order, Route determination is occurring.  When Route determination occurs, it causes ATP to re-trigger.   Transit time on a different route may impact the ship date.

  • Error when modifying global services plan

I'm trying to modify the global services part of my wireless plan.  When I try submitting this change, I get the error message "You currently are on the selected plan. Please select another plan."  Is this a bug with the site or is there some other way to change just the global services part of my plan?

I can help you with that, c_b1. Which plan do you currently have? Which plan are you attempting to change to?

  • Changing values before ATP-check in VA01/VA02

    Dear experts,
    I have a problem and I don't know where to start ...
When creating or changing an order, the business want to change a specific value before coming to the screen of availability control ...
They add a new item on the sales order ... After pressing enter we go immediately to the screen of the "characteristic value assignment" ... After adding some values on the characteristics, we press the button to go to the next screen (which is "availibilty control") ... Before getting to the screen, we should be able to change the value of the field "GR Process Time" (AFPOD-WEBAZ) of the corresponding production order (that also will be created) ... If this is possible, the "dely/conf.date" should immediately have the correct value !
Does anyone know how I can do this ? Are there some enhancements where I can program this ?
Thanks in advance for the (hopefully) quick answers !!!
    Greetz,
    Kurt.

    Hi,
Perhaps you can do your own ATP before of the SO. You can achieve it with the function module MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API.
You have two example reports: RMMD07EX and RMMD07DB.
Instead a list, you can obtain an internal table and set the quantity and date. Other question is performance.
    I hope this helps you

  • How can I check when my two-year plan is up?

Im am so desparately in need of a new phone! I got mine last year but i can remember exactly when (beginning or middle) and I wanted to know how I could find out when. Is there a place I can go on this website to find out?
Btw, because I have a two-year plan, does that mean I have the NE2 thing?
Ps. I want a blackberry as my next phone ( i have a samsung reality) and I know I will ave to pay the data plan, but Im on a family with my mom. so if she does want a blackberry or a phone with the $29.99 data package, will it be $60.00 or $29.99 for both? What is the least I have to wait to get a new phone? (Can it be 20 months, 15 months, or exactly 24 months?)

Your upgrade date is 20 months form when you started the current contract - if you (or the primary line, account owner) log on to your account, click on your phone, it should tell you when the upgrade date is.
Only the primary line gets the additional NE2 credit. However, at 20 months into your contract, you can buy a phone at a substantial discount by renewing your contract for two years, or pay a little more and only be obligated to one year, upgradeable at 10 months in.
The data plan is added PER PHONE, so it would be $29.99 PER Blackberry, or $60 if you and your mom both got a BB.

  • ATP check in COHV

    Hi All
Iam doing ATP check in planned order and getting Missing parts.
When i do ATP check in COHV for same planned order then iam not getting any missing parts.
    Is any config is missing?

    Hi,
From what i know SAP recommends usage of MDVP for planned orders. There are still quite many issues with usage of COHV for planned orders, hence i would suggest the use of MDVP.
    Hope it clarifies.

  • ATP Check issue for storage location level

    Hi Experts:
I met a problem when carry out the ATP check, when I create the SO for material A 1 pcs and not maintain the storage location in sales order, ATP carried out and gave me the proposal delivery date(100 days later)  for about this material, the system can not check the storage location level.
the real situation is for material A, in stock 1000 has 100 pcs, in stock 2000 has 50 pcs, and in stock 3000 has 30 pcs.
How can the system automatic check the storage location level even I not fill in the storage location in the sales order?
    Thanks and best regards
    Jin

    Jin,
    For this check
1)Youe storage location shd be automatically determined..Make sure you've done all settings in 0vlk/0vlp..
2)In MMR-MRP2 make sure you have entered Prod Storage Location..Also in OVZ9 check what stocks you have selected for ATP  for particular check rule..
    3)Also in VA02 Go to Environment-Availability overview..

  • ATP check for delivery in ECC & Sales order ATP check in APO

    Hi All,
Can we do an ATP check for delivery in ECC , but for the same set of Materials- Plant combination , the ATP check when a SO is created should happen in APO .
We do not want to remove the Business event 'B'  which is meant for delivery in  APO . For some materials we need APO ATP check to happen for delivery   & for some it should be in ECC  & for SO  the ATP check should happen in APO .
Even if we do not have check instructions pertaining to Business event 'B' & a particular check mode (for the materials where the ATP check for delivery should happen in ECC & SO check to happen in APO)  , when we are doing an ATP check for delivery , it is still pointing to APO ATP check rather than ECC check .
Any pointers for this is highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Surendra

    Hi Surendra,
For SO, business event is A and for delivery it's B. When integrated with ECC, the check rule in ECC points as biz event in APO.
You can control ATP check by customized settings for check rule in ECC.
Also, by setting requirement class and requirement type in ECC, you control check mode in APO. So, even if you dont define for check mode in APO, the system might refer from ECC for the ATP check settings. Look into your ECC customization for how requirement class is derived and settings for requirement type. (based on MRP type, strategy grp and Item cat).
I'm not sure how you can control ATP to happen for some sales orders/deleveries in ECC and for some in APO, since check mode is mentioned in material master.
However, there are ATP BADIs (business add-ins) available in both ECC and APO, whch can serve your purpose.

  • Force ATP-check at schedule line level

    Hello All,
I want to trigger the ATP check when I change some specific values at schedule line level ( Change the value-> press enter and In the enter event the ATP should get triggered, so that I could see the Value changes online).
I tried calling FM SD_BACKORDER_CHECK_AND_SAVE in user exit "userexit_check_vbep USING us_dialog" , But this is not the correct place to call this FM.
Could anyone let me know if we can acheive this using any other FM.
    Thanks

    Hi Victor,
To do ATP check at Storage location level during sales order create/change, you need to make changes on the following areas.
    1. Scope of Check "Availability Check Control" for Checking rules pertaining to orders (TCode OVZ9)
Storage location inspection checkbox should be blank.
    2. Enhance program MV45AFZB user-exit USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION to determine storage location as it is not normally proposed in sales order.
Let me know if this helps.

  • Reg SOP and flexible planning

    Dear all,
Please explain what is the difference between SOP and flexible planning, similarly in an industry when do use Longterm planning, when we will use SOP and when we use Flexible planning, when we should use MRP planning
    Please advice
    regards
    venkat

    Dear,
    Standard SOP:-
Standard SOP, you work with one organizational unit, the product group hierarchy, and plan predefined key figures in a planning table with a set layout. All plans in Standard SOP are based on the standard information structure S076.
If there are more regions for an organization, planning can not be done at different region or different sales organization level using Standard SOP.
    Flexible Planning:-
Flexible Planning, on the other hand, can be based on any information structure of your choice, either a self-defined information structure or a standard information structure.
If there are more regions for an organization, planning can be done at different region or different sales organization level using Flexible planning

  • Questions on ATP Check, RLT & Planning

    Hi,
I have a couple of issues regarding ATP checks and Planning, and I was wondering if anyone could help.
    1. We have a setup right now where we are using standard SAP availability check with Replenishment Lead time. In the Purchasing, we might have scenarios where some Purchase orders are indefintely delayed from the Vendors and this has to be reflected in the sales order.
We tried doing that by setting the delivery date in the PO to 31.12.9999 but since the date lies outside of the RLT, the sales order is fully confirmed and the delay in purchasing is not reflected in the sales order. Do you have any suggestions on how we could get around this without deactivating RLT?
    2. We have a requirement right now of using the Planned delivery time in the Material master as working days instead of Calendar days for planning purposes. Any proposal on how that can be done?
    3. We also have a requirement of taking the 'ordering calendar' into account for planning as well as for availability check - the ordering calendar is basically a weekly schedule when the POs are created and sent out to the Vendor. As an example we have a material with Planned delivery time as 3 days and GR Processing time as 1 day. However, we send the PO to this Vendor only on every Thursday.
When the sales order is placed on Friday, using RLT the Sales order will be confirmed for Tuesday next week, but the PO will not even be sent to the Vendor till Thursday next week and we end up giving incorrect confirmations to the customers. Is there any way that this 'ordering calendar' could be taken into account in the Availability check.
    Hope someone can help.

    Hi arnab
one way of achieving your requirements is
after creating the sales order you can execute the SALEs order MRP using MD50 transaction enter the order # and MRP control parameters 1,3,1,2. and execute.
    Ensure the following before MRP.
    1. All the master data are maintained for the schedule line creation for the components ( Source list, Scheduling agreements)
    2. Material master with valid MRP data.strategy group having MTO strategy.
after sales order MRP you will get the schedule line created for the components
also MRp will create the cpacity requirements as we run the MRP with Lead time scheduling.
    Hope this helps
