Wrvs4400n not stable after firmware upgrade help!!

I need some help.
System:
WRVS4400N wireless router
Firmware 1.1.03
IPS: 1.31
I went through LinkSys site and downloaded the new firmware and ips signature listed above. I upgraded my system a few days ago and having alot of problems with disconnection through the router. I would have to reset my wireless router every so often since the firmware upgrade. Most of the time, it would take one tries but sometime i would have to unplug and plug the router's power cable many times before having internet access. My previous firmware version i believe is 1.0.06 and it was working fine except that my MAC OS X wasn't able to connect via wireless connection. That's why i decided to proceed with the firmware upgrade. Now, the new firmware is giving me a whole new problem and unfortunely i forgot to back up my previous system's config (firmware).
I am sure this problem is not caused by my IPS or the modem because when the connections get dropped, i was able to connect directly through the modem. I am not sure if others are experiencing the same problem, but at this point, i think this is some bug on the new firmware. Please i need some solution to this. Any advice or suggestions?

There is a Recovery program for recovering from the latest firmware "upgrade" that borks the router. The latest "firmware "upgrade" completely trashed my router. I could not even connect to it from its internal IP (192.168.1.1) to attempt to downgrade the firmware. Nice of Linksys to allow people to go through an upgrade that trashes their router. Then to make matters worse, the Receovery program only works in windoze, so I had to find a windoze machine to use to downgrade the firmware. What happens if you run Linux - out of luck. Long story short, why not have some kind of warning on the firmware upgrade that unless you first do the recovery firmware flash, you can kiss you router goodbye for the time being.

HP 5524 Wireless does not work after firmware upgrade

I have just purchased an HP5524. After initial problems setting up the WPA key from the printer screen, I connected via USB, found the printer and swapped to wireless successfuly. I then installed the printer software on all my computers at home successfully over wireless.
The printer then needed a firmware upgrade to support eprint (?), which is successfully connected, downloaded the fireware, installed and went through the boot cycles successfully.
However, ever since wireless will not work. Before I return it to the retailer as "not fit for purpose" I thought I would ask the forum. The diagnostics downloaded a tool, which I went through, but this did not offer solutions that I had not already tried.

Thank you for posting you query,
In order to resolve the issue, please make sure the printer is placed closer to the router and uninstall the printer drivers already installed and then start the instalaltion and seelct teh connection type as wireless network. Then select use USB to configure wireless and when prompted conenct the USB cable and then select the network and enter the encryption key follow the onscreen instructions.
If the issue still persisits, please open the browser and in the address bar enter the IP address of the router and click on GO. This will take you to the router configuration page. On the router page, please click on Wireless Setup and please make sure SSID Broadcast is enabeld and the Wireless Mode is set to Mixed or 802.11 B/G/N and the Wireless Channel is set to 11 and click on Apply. Then try to connect the printer to the network by using the CD.

SB wow wireless not working after firmware upgrade

In the beginning of this year I bougth a pair of Sound Blaster World of warcraft wireless headset. And there have been alot of trouble with them, I've been using the latest software but not the latest firmware ever since then.
And every now and then my mic stop to work, I could hear sound but the mic was totally dead, and all of a sudden, of no logical reason the mic started to work agian.
So I thought a firmware upgrade could make them work better, but no, i upgrade firmware from .9.x to .0.x.
And guess what happens? Nothing works no, not the sound, not the mic, the USB trasmitter cant even sync with the headset anymore.
Ive tried a million things now, some of them are:
. Just tried to reinstall it, didnt work
2. Tried to install it in winxpsp3 compability mode, didnt work.
3. Tried to clear all temp-folder (the temp-folder under c:\windows\temp and the user-temp) after Ive uninstalled it, didnt work.
Im running on Windows 7 Professional x64 edition.
What could cause this? I havnt tried to install them on a XP-computer yet tho. But I have to get them work in Win7, since i cant downgrade just because of a headset, huh?

HP M451dn AirPrint Not Working After Firmware Upgrade

Hello All,
Just setup and brand new HP Laserjet 400 color M451dn.
Since this does not have the WiFi option, I connected it via Ethernet cable directly to my NetGear WNDR4300 (N750) WiFi Router, so folks in my office with iPads/iPhones can AirPrint to it.
This worked great, out of the box! iPad/iPhone users could join the WiFi network, and then see the printer with no problem.
However, after updating the printer to the latest firmware (20140708) the iPads/iPhones can no longer find the printer!
The Config Report still shows AirPrint as one of the "Installed Personalities and Options", however, the web-based printer interface does not show Bonjour as one of the Networking options in the Networking menu. (It shows IPv4 and IPv6 only)
I have tried the following sequence without success:
1. Power-off the M451dn printer.
2. Power-off the Netgear WNDR4300 (N750) router, wait 30-sec, and power-on.
3. Wait 2-3 minutes for Netgear to sync-up after power-up.
4. Turn-on M451dn.
5. Try finding M451dn with iPad.
Still getting "No printers found..."
So, did I do something wrong in upgrading the firmware?
Or do I have to somehow re-enable the AirPrint option?
Please help, as I am now most hated amongst the Apple crowd at the office.

Battery not recognised after ram upgrade - Help!

I just attempted a Ram memory upgrade that worked fine, but my battery stopped being recognised.
The battery was fine before, even so - I bought a new one (I tested in a different computer - it worked there) - still doesn`t work.
I decided to put back the old RAM - still no working Battery.
Reseted the SMC and the NVRAM 500 times and nothing changes.
Already have the latest Firmware (Efi and SMC) for quite a long time, can`t reinstall it or downgrade it (due to apple.). Apparently CD firmware restauration not available to my model ( original installation cd don`t work beacuse it is a previous version of firmware?)
What else can I do?
Is there any way to force a firmware installation ?

Note an error free AHT is not definitive.
Check the connections on the MBP and the charger for dirt, debris and discoloration. The pins on the charger are spring loaded and should move freely.

EPrint on CP1525nw not working after firmware upgrade

I have a CP1525nw that ePrint was working great on when I bought the device. Then I upgraded to the latest firmware (20110329), and now I get a "System Error" in ePrint Center every time I send a print job. I also get a warning message that says "To ensure your ePrint service is not interrupted please update your firmware at www.hp.com/go/eprint." I have tried that link, and I have verified that I do in fact have the latest firmware installed, but it simply doesn't work anymore. The status in ePrint Center is showing that the device is connected and ready. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

N73 will not work after firmware upgrade

Hi
Im looking for some advice.
Today because i was having problems with a software application on my N73 Nokia's website advised me to update the firmware which seemed to go ok.
When i unplugged the cable the phone went off and wont switch one now, nothing happens at all when you press the on off switch.
Anyone got any ideas whats happened and whether its fixable??

I tried the N93 system fix below and the software updater recognised the phone first time and completed the upgrade, the phone then powered up of its own accord.
However i get the white screen with the blue "nokia" on it but then if flicks a couple of times and leaves me with a message "Phone start up failed contact the retailer"
Anyone got any ideas what that means / how to fix it??

Please let me know , How we can reinstall apple mail ? .
1 . We updated OS to mavericks few machine in last december and still does't works SMTP (Out going mail) on those MAC.
2. After that most recently we updated OS to mavericks few machine those are working will with SMTP server .
a)Not showing any SMTP connection in TCP trace ,
b) Connection docter every time Says "Connecting to the server "
3, Then we have installed thunderberd (another mail) client on maverick os, which OS related to apple mail client not woking . It seems other mail client is working well with SMTP server .

HELP!!! iTunes not playing after lastest upgrade

My iTunes is not playing after lastest upgrade, and i onli hear a lo buzzing sound wiht i hit the play button, and the diamond thingy is still moving. I tried reinstalling and re importing the music files, but i juz wouldn't work. help

Nope i did not have any success with the other possibilities, other then the one concerning the hardware.
hmmm. okay, if you switched sound enhancer off, that probably would have covered that possibility anyway.
we'd better check your video drivers as well as your sound card drivers. (old video drivers can cause problems with Quicktime that can show up as itunes audio problems, since QT provides audio playback for itunes.)

WAP4410N-E V02 not reachable after FW Upgrade

Hello Everyone,
I had some issues with our Accesspoints and decided to update the Firmware as it's discussed in several posts here in the forum.
Unfortunately this update from 2.0.4.2 to 2.0.6.1 was crashing the accesspoint eventually.
So here's what happened:
I downloaded the FW 2.0.6.1 from cisco.com and installed it via the webinterface as it's meant to be.
The installation was running and in the end showing me "Rebooting device". This took some time and then the page didn't reload and since then I've got no way to contact the Accespoint.
So I thought it may have been back to DHCP and had a look into the arp tables of the router, but nothing to see there with the mac address of the AP.
I also restartet it later by taking it from the power and plugging it back in. Still nothing!
Anyone here who had the same issue and was able to fix it?

I am Gyanendra Singh from Cisco SBSC. Thank you for bringing up this to our notice.
As mentioned you didn't receive the login page after firmware upgrade. It is possible that device was not upgraded. Try this setps to restore connectivity to your WAP4410N:
1-     Disconnect the device from LAN.
2-     Power cycle the device and wait till the device boots.
3-     Press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds. This will factory reset the device.
4-     Connect it your LAN network wait for 10 seconds till the time it obtains TCP/IP settings from DHCP server. [You need to check on router for DHCP leased clients a.k.a DHCP binding database to know which IP address the device has taken]
5-     If you find any trouble in step 4, you can try connecting a workstation direclty with WAP4410N with a static IP address from the 192.168.1.0/24 pool. [Device has a default IP of 192.168.1.245/24, don't forget to restart the device after removing it from LAN for making sure it release the DHCP obtained IP]
6-     If all these steps are not helping you please reach to Cisco's Small Business Support Centre for further support.

@ BDAqua > I tried your suggestion but no luck. holding opt+command just gave me a blue screen and it rebotted, pushing the disk out of the drive. Yes, the macbook has 1 gb of ram. I realize that the min req. call for 2 gb of ram so i've got an order in for another dimm to put into the machine. Thanks for your suggestions.
@ a_brody > Yes. The machine was plugged into a power source. The disk promts you to do that and i recall aspect this form other installs. Thanks for the reminder tho! ( btw your second post is like greek to me man!)
@ Kuncklesmac > You're right about Snow Leopard being an upgrade from Leopard. I'm aware of this. And yes previously i've been told by Apple that I needed the Box Set (not the family pack. i am using the family pack for OS Snow Leopard) to upgrade my 10.4.11 mac - they never mentioned adding ram but i figured that out on my own and an apple specialist recommended it when i purchased Snow Leopard and confirmed that I coul duse the Snow Leopard to upgarde from Tiger (10.4.11). I've also read extensively (as i said above) that it isn't necessary (always) to buy the box set. Several 10.4.11 users report having upgraded using the Snow Leopard upgrade disk only (not the Box Set) without trouble on intel macs (also see the apple link i posted). So i'm just ondering how they did it and i cannot.

PC-Suite sync fails after Firmware upgrade of E65

After firmware upgrade of E65 PC-Suite stops syncing Calendar & Contacts from outlook. No error messages, just "0 entries has been updated".
- PC-Suite updated to 7.0.9.2
- Outlook 2003
- XP Prof.
Any ideas?

The funny thing is - the notes are synced???? If I restore some old contacts they'll double up in outlook, so I think the problem is, that the sync app doesn't see the outlook contact & calendar folder.
Does somebody has an idea?

after 2,5 days (spending half a day within the apple shop as well with this problem) i have it all back on track.
i did a lot of different things: trying to remove and reinstall iPhoto; did a SL installation over the old SL I had on my HD; backing up all the data of course before and reformatting my HD and installing a new clean SL version on it + a new clean version of iLife9 with all the updates and than I migrate with migrate assistant all the data and setting with time machine back onto it, but all this didn't work, because it also migrated the error/bug through time machine with it.
so at the end i just installed a brand new, clean SL version on my hard drive, than I did the updates and put all my data, photos, docs, movies, mail, bookmarks, music, etc manual back into the system (drag and drop from my external HD, where i had an exact copy of my internal HD) and did all the settings again in all the different programs.
the only thing i used migrant assistant with time machine for was for the programs. it seems to work now all fine and i even got more free space on my HD, because some of the old stuff i always carried with me but i never used, i didn't take over.
basically everything is clean now. At least i hope and works fine. touch wood!

We are using SAP ECC 6.0 (731 - SP09 ) & DB2 Fix pack 5 version.Database history growth not updating after EHP upgrade. I have check collector job running fin and DB tab > Configuration > Data Collection Framework > Configuration Collector are in green status.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

You can try few things:
1. Check to collector standard job like SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR should be running succesfully.
2.If you can check to data collector collection interval column , you will find it to be Not Schedule.
Try with Repair all collector.
To make it work properly you have to perform
Data Collection Full
Data Collection Incremental
