WSImport-Error generating server code from existing wsdl ends in ERROR

Hi,
we have an existing wsdl, and need to change the Server Env. I am evaluating JAX-WS and WSImport, and it seems to be cool, but i have a Problem similar to this thread here:
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=739918&messageID=4245176
I solved all JAXB Issues, but this error drives me crazy. All Types from XSD and WSDL are generated if i switch to extension="true". In my Opinion the message parts refer to schema types, i cant figure out, whats wronh there.

One can use Clientgen <binding> element to specify custom binding files.
Here is a WLS workaround for the problem of unresolved xs:schema references in WSDL
1. save XMLSchema.xsd and customization.xjb into a local directory called bindingDir,
2. use the following script to gen clientside artifacts.
<clientgen>
<binding dir="bindingDir" includes="*">
</clientgen>

    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to create a WebService from existing WSDL.  I have been asked to implement a WebService (the Server) based on WSDL from a standards based consortium.  I have created several WebServices in the past and the generated WSDL under my control.  Does Axis WebServices generate WebService service stub Java code?

    Hai
      you can create stubs for AXis webservices also

    The JAXRPC spec. section 6.2 states:
    "All message parts (either parameter or return value) appear inside a single wrapper element, which is the first child element of the SOAP Body element." For this to work with Doc/literal operations, all messages can contain only a single part.

  • Xrpcc modeler error when trying to generate stub classes from a WSDL

    I'm trying to generate JAX-RPC stub classes (both client and server side) from a WSDL in which one of the message parts references a complexType element defined in the <types> section of the WSDL. Here is my little WSDL document:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <definitions name="Book_Def"
    targetNamespace="myTypes"
    xmlns:tns="myTypes"
    xmlns:xsd1="myTypes"
    xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/">
    <types>
    <xsd:schema targetNameSpace="myTypes"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <xsd:element name="Book" type="xsd1:BookType"/>
    <xsd:complexType name="BookType">
    <xsd:all>
    <xsd:element name="authors" type="xsd:string" maxOccurs="10"/>
    <xsd:element name="preface" type="xsd:string"/>
    <xsd:element name="price" type="xsd:float"/>
    </xsd:all>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:schema>
    </types>
    <message name="runMyPgm">
    <part name="book" type="xsd1:Book"/>
    </message>
    <message name="getPgmResponse">
    <part name="result" type="xsd:string"/>
    </message>
    <portType name="MyPgmIFPortType">
    <operation name="runMyPgm">
    <input message="tns:runMyPgm"/>
    <output message="tns:getPgmResponse"/>
    </operation>
    </portType>
    ... Binding stuff
    </port>
    </service>
    </definitions>
    I've tried many combinations of defining my complex type and input message and whenever I run xrpcc using this WSDL as input, I get a Error: Modeler error: invalid entity name: Book (in namespace "myTypes"). Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what am I doing wrong in my <types> or <message> definitions to cause this error? I've had some luck generating stubs when the part types are all simple types, but I've not had any luck with getting a <complexType> definition accepted by xrpcc. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    Yes you can specify type mapping in configuration file and probably this will solve the problem, but I've never tested this approach. Perhaps I'm not advanced user. Actually the serializerFactory and deserializerFactory are a little vague for me:(

  • How to generate doc/lit/wrapped services from existing wsdl?

    Hello,
    I am using workshop 10.1 to generate webservices from existing wsdl files from workshop 8.1. The existings webservices are based on an xmlbean utility project.
    When I generate the webservice from the existing wsdl file it generates automatically services with doc/lit/bare operations. I found in the known issues that this combination is not supported in combination with xmlbeans.
    See: CR283457
    XBeans are not supported as parameters or return type for doc/lit/bare operations.
    Use of Xbeans as a parameter or return type with doc/lit/bare bindings is not supported in operations or callbacks and will result in a failure during deployment.
    Platform: All
    Workaround: Use doc/lit/wrapped for services that use XBeans as parameters or return types.
    The workaround state to use doc/lit/wrapped for services. My questions is how to do that since workshop has all control over the generation of the webservices? ?:|
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Martijn
    If you do generate web service from the wsdl on a 9.2 project, it always uses jax-rpc types and there's no xmlbeans involved.
    If the wsdl is in the schemas folder and the xmlbeans builder is on, then you also have xmlbeans types created by the builder they aren't being used by the web service. You will still have problems, because some of the xmlbeans types may conflict with the jax-rpc types.
    so when we generate webservice from a wsdl it will never use xmlbeans type, even if the xml builder is on, because WLS doesn't support start from wsdl with xmlbeans types.
    Can you please attach the wsdl and the steps so I can replicate and see the issue?
    Thanks

  • Can Indesign CC generate QR codes from a data merge?

    Looking to generate QR codes from a data merge.  Currently I have to manually generate the codes with a batch generator and then save them out as links and import them with the data merge.
    If Indesign CC could generate them all in one swoop that would remove a lot of external steps in the process.
    Is there any way to do this?

    Not directly from the data merge panel or flyout. This would be something that may be able to be scripted, but I haven't seen a script that will do this... yet.
    There are PAID third party plugins like Meadows Publishing Solutions that will do this. http://www.meadowsps.com/free2d is a taster of what it can do. XMPie is another one, or teacup software has one as well.

  • Creating web service from existing WSDL - why wsimport?

    Hi folks,
    I'm using Netbeans 6.0 to "Create a web service from an existing WSDL..".
    The problem is: it creates a new service with a NEW WSDL. I don't want it to do this, since I'm relying on a client to send a message conformant to the old WSDL. I'd noticed that in the jaxws-build.xml file, it's using wsimport instead of wsgen.
    Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can tell Netbeans to create the service using the original WSDL (not generate a new one)? Do I have to use wsgen instead?

    If you are under support contract, could you file a support issue at
    http://support.bea.com/ and then post the case #? Thanks.

  • WebService generation from existing WSDL file :(

    Hello,
    I have just tried to create a WebService from an existing WSDL (which has been developed and validated with Eclipse) with JDeveloper and got the follwing stack trace. I do not think, that this error message is very usefull, because I can't see the point where it referes to my WSDL document. By the way, the Eclipse validation went through without having any trouble.
    Here are my JDeveloper coordinates to give you the chance to follow up:
    - Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.1.0
    - Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090615.0017.5407
    Running JDeveloper in MacOSX:
    - Version 10.5.8
    - Build 9L31a
    Cheers,

  • Generating soap message from given WSDL dynamically.

    Hi,
    I want to write code which can generate SOAP request message from given WSDL.
    Any Libraries which is already doing this work so that i can extend them and implement my work on top of it.
    I saw one similar thing called SOAPUI. But it is a desktop application. I want the similar thing as a library so that i can extend it
    Thanks
    mchepuri

    I think that you can use the soapui libraries (a .jar file) and you can generate a soap message for a given wsdl....
    but you cannot know the types of the "parameters" ... the library puts "?" where you have to put a value to send....

  • How to generate GUI code from parsed XML file?

    hai,
    I have to generate GUI code after parsing any configuration XML file as input.Now i have parsed my XML file and got its attributed and i want to get some idea of how to map the parsed XML attributes to the java code to build GUI code.

    Hello,
    1. I like to create data type from a XML file structure, which contains the data structure ?
    XML fields will need to be taken note of to see which is repeating or not. You can also load the XML into a third-party tool such as Altova XML Spy and then generate an XSD from there. You will need to import the XSDs into PI under external definitions. However, this does not guarantee business interoperability, as such, it is always best to ask the provider for the XSDs or WSDL. It will also save you a lot of time from guessing which fields are needed or not.
    2. How to create custom node function in graphical mapping editor ?
    In your graphical mapping editor, on the lowest left corner, there is an icon there that says Create New Function. You must take into account their return types:
    1. Single Values = String
    2. Queue/Context (no return type) thus resultList is used.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • JPA - generate orm.xml from existing JPA annotations

    Hi,
    Is there any tool which can be used to generate the orm.xml file from existing JPA java annotated source files?
    Thank you,
    Virgil

    Yes. Map some of the classes with JPA annotations or orm.xml, for the other leave them unmapped, and don't list them in your persistence.xml. Then in a SessionCustomizer you can load your native EclipseLink project.xml file using the XMLProjectReader, and then manually add the descriptors from the Project to the JPA EclipseLink Session using DatabaseSession.addDescriptors(Project).

  • Workshop 10.0.1 - Generating service control from a WSDL file

    Hi!
    I've been familiarising myself with Workshop (version 10.0.1).
    There is a feature that allows the generation of a web service control by right-clicking a WSDL file (Web Services > Generate Service Control).
    This process creates a jar file containing the WSDL's complex type.
    My only problem with this is that the jar uses the namespaces as package names (for example: www.openuri.org will be converted into an org.openuri package).
    I've been searching for a way to customize the package names, but I've been unable to find it. We previously used Axis to generate a web service client, and we ran an Ant task that could map namespaces to packages.
    Would there be a way to achieve this in Workshop?
    Thank you!

    Hi
    This is a known issue and a limitation. Service controls doesn't honor xsdconfig files when generated from wsdl file.
    We have an enhancement request CR307698 pending to address this issue. It looks like it's a big change in code to get this working so it is being looked at in the next release.
    Also, you can call BEA support / create a case in future and request status on this CR anytime.

  • Generate SQL code from a user

    Hi,
    I would like to replicate a user from one database to another.
    Is it possible to generate the SQL code that defines this user, in the purpose of apply this script on another database ?
    Thanks.

    Hi
    You can use DBMS_METADATA package:
    SELECT DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL('USER', 'GOKHAN') FROM DUAL;
    SELECT DBMS_METADATA.GET_GRANTED_DDL('ROLE_GRANT', 'GOKHAN') FROM DUAL;
    SELECT DBMS_METADATA.GET_GRANTED_DDL('SYSTEM_GRANT', 'GOKHAN') FROM DUAL;
    SELECT DBMS_METADATA.GET_GRANTED_DDL('OBJECT_GRANT', 'GOKHAN') FROM DUAL;I put 'GOKHAN' as sample user name.

  • [OVM 3.0.3] Rebuild server pool from existing servers with running VMs.

    Hello everyone,
    We would like to reinitialize the OVM Manager database since it's in a pretty "bad state": since it's been used for heavy test purposes there are object that cannot be deleted.
    However, one of the OVM servers in a server pool is running production VMs.
    Is it possibile to clean the OVM Manager DB and rediscover the existing server without loosing its machines?
    Would someone suggest other options?
    Think of it as a disaster recovery test...
    All storage pools are SAN LUNs.
    Best regards,
    Alessandro

    Uninstall the Manager.
    Install a new Manager (using SE or EE as your database, as you're going into production) and pass the UUID to the runInstaller script using the -u parameter.
    Discover your servers in the new Manager -- all the server pool information will be recreated.
    If you have any iSCSI or NFS storage servers, add those back and then Refresh the Repositories.
    Refresh/Rediscover the servers -- all the VMs will reappear, under the servers upon which they're running.
    Note that the only thing you currently lose is the friendly name of your ISO images and VirtualDisk images.

  • How to generate Bar codes from Crystal Report

    I understand that Bar Codes can be genrated from Crystal reports. I am using CR 2008 and trying to convert my Inventory items to bar codes. it does convert it and I can see the bar codes but it looks like; just a garbage and scanner does not recognze it plus the numners are missing @ the bottom.
    Anybody has ever tried this and have some simple instructions to start with.
    Any help will  be appreciated highly.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    What barcode are you using and what barcode font?
    If you are using Code39 or Postnet then you need to make sure your values are formatted properly by creating a formula and using the barcode functions.
    Have a search in the forum for barcodes.  It's been talked about a lot and you should find your solution.
    Good luck,
    Brian
