WWI Template - Repeating Group  -S:CLASS

Dear Experts
while editing the WWI templates,
In Repeating Group - Slave group (S:CLASS), we are suppose to insert the Report Symbol using Expansion Mode NM Method, using C14N_SYMBOL_DGREG_SUPPRESS this method.
Can any body please convey me the Significance or Use of this C14N_SYMBOL_DGREG_SUPPRESS
Thanking You,
Regards

Hi Amol,
If the symbol for the dangerous goods regulation (G1022024LW) is defined within the repeating group S:CLASS, the characteristic values that are not relevant are suppressed by the UN listed substance.
This ensures that the system only outputs the UN listed substance legal data valid for the corresponding regulation.

    Please guide me to solve this issue.

    Hello Kapil,
    You should check SAP Note 1978943, this note may help you to solve the issue:

  • PDF template - Looking for syntax to handle non-nesting repeat groups

    All,
    I followed XML publisher documentation for the first repeat group using BODY_START, T1_G1, T1_G2,,,,BODY_END. It works as expected. Could anyone post the syntax to handle more than one repeat group within a PDF template. These are not nesting repeat groups.
    Really appreciate any help to point me in the right direction.
    Thanks in advance
    Gopal

    Your question was "... but the font on the footer is much larger than that of the template", yes?
    I only can repeat, look at the difference of:
    1. index.html (Font-size > medium) >
    2. Calendar.html (Font-size > no entry):
    > "... font on the footer is much larger than that of the template",

    P.S.
    See us again - maybe - at Monday > we will do a nice little trip to Austria.

  • WWI Template - validity area question inside of a composition slave group

    I am reading composition with exposure limits (SAP_EHS_1012_006) of the real sub then drilling into the list sub Occupation Exposure Limits (SAP_EHS_1023_006).
    I want to show a table of the list subs, and then show the Usage Validity Area "US" only regulations for that list sub.
    But when I try to put a "G" type repeat group around the list sub for validity area "US" it doesn;t work.
    I saw a S:VERW type slave group but I am unable to tell if that is what is needed, because I can't find any samples.
    My data is setup that the Usage Validity area records are:
    1 - CA
    2 - US
    3 - MX
    Here are some of the things I have tried:
    <11BRG002(M,SAP_EHS_1023_006;)> <15BIF061(OR:01GESTDRVLID (P;) LK "US"029><15EIF061><11ERG002>
    even though I try to test the P;*, the condition does not test all phrases.
    As I said above I have tried to wrap with a type G repeating group and this didn't work either.
    Thanks

    The problem was that I needed to wrap a G type repeating group for US, around the the specification repeating group. And I needed to modify the Gen Variant rating/validity to include a line item for region US.

  • Need to display data from one group while in another repeating group

    I have a repeating group in my .rft file which displays line level data that has a quote number in it.
    At the end of this repeating group I need to display the total for the quote number but these values are in another group that's within a differnt group higher up in the XML tree. Both of the groups have quote number so there is a link between the two. How do I do this? When I add the "higher up" repeating group within the current group I can't get any data to show. Any help would be appreciated.
    Kind Regards

    Here's the data, I do know how to to move up the tree like a file system but I think my problem is I need to move up the tree and repeat based on the value (quote number) of the lower node.
    For instance for each quote number in repeating group G_FORX_OPS_QTE_ORDER_LINES loop through the occurances of same quote number in G_OPPCAT_BREAKDOWN so I can get a total of the fields by quote number
    This is overly simplified but it would be like this
    <?for-each-group:G_FORX_OPS_QTE_ORDER_LINES;QUOTE_NUMBER?>
    quote number 1428
    various line level data....
    various line level data....
    etc....
    -- Open loop to get data from other group (Only get data for quote 1428!!)
    <?for-each-group:/FORX_AS_OPPOR/LIST_G_OPPORTUNITY_SHEET/G_OPPORTUNITY_ID/LIST_G_OPPCAT_BREAKDOWN/G_OPPCAT_BREAKDOWN;./QUOTE_NUMBER1?>
    Total For Quote 1428
    Billing Class
    BILLABLE: Billable total in dollars
    INTERNAL: Internal total in dollars
    <?end for-each-group?>

  • PDF Template (repeating regions) correct version of Adobe Acrobat

    Hi,
    I want to build a PDF template for a Payslip I am knocking up at the moment and have come to the conclusion this may be easier as a PDF template rather than an RTF template.
    The reason being I have multiple repeating regions in the payslip (earnings, deductions, salary history, payments) all of which could overflow onto another sheet of stationary when the job is run. If you think RTF is a better solution please post and let me know how I should achieve this. Or indeed if you think PDF is wrong also please let me know.
    So I want to build a PDF template to utilise its overflow handling but what version of Adobe acrobat do I then need? 9 is the current release and there is a "Standard", "Pro" and "Pro-Extended" version of the software each with escalating costs associated. I see in Tim's blog the PDF has to be in the 1.4 specification which all the versions since 5 seem to support.
    If you need anymore info in order to please let me know.
    Cheers
    Doug

    Agreed RTF is a lot simpler to create and maintain.
    I cannot seem to get my RTF template to behave with overflowing properties my basic design is Below (excuse the odd way of displaying it but I'm sure you get the idea). So any 1 of 4 repeating groups could go over their limits (I have currently hardcoded the loop limit in the group). I need the basic Emp info the Address info and the random info on each sheet.
    I've been around the forum and all over the net (Anil Passi's site, XML/BI Publisher Blog etc.) looking at the solutions people have used for invoices and PO's but I cannot seem to use them in my case.
    Any help you or anyone else could give on the subject would be gratefully received.

  • How to use a header column in a repeating group

    I am trying to create a BIP report (11.1.1.6.2) with an XML file as source. The XML files start with a few header fields, followed by the actual data. For example:
    <DATA>
    <PARAMETERS>
    <P_ORDER>Order</P_ORDER>
    <P_CUSTOMER>Customer</P_CUSTOMER>
    </PARAMETERS>
    <LIST_DETAILS>
    <DETAIL>
    <V_ORDER>12345</V_ORDER>
    <V_CUSTOMER>Oracle</V_CUSTOMER>
    </DETAIL>
    <DETAIL>
    <V_ORDER>67890</V_ORDER>
    <V_CUSTOMER>Microsoft</V_CUSTOMER>
    </DETAIL>
    </LIST_DETAILS>
    </DATA>
    The desired output should combine a field from the <PARAMETERS> group and a field from the <DETAIL> group in one line. So with this example data it should look like this:
    Order: 12345
    Customer: Oracle
    Order: 67890
    Customer: Microsoft
    In my RTF template I created a repeating group <?for-each:DETAIL?> and put everything in that repeating group. Unfortunately BIP leaves the values for the fields in the <PARAMETERS> group empty.
    I also tried to nest two repeating groups. First: <?for-each:PARAMETERS?>, within that: <?for-each:DETAIL?>. This does not solve the problem.
    How can I achieve my desired output?
    Paul

    try
    <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX,'LVarORDER',P_ORDER)?>
    <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX,'LVarCUSTOMER',P_CUSTOMER)?>
    <?for-each:DETAIL?>                                 |           <?V_ORDER?>

  • Repeating group level headings.

    Using the table wizard, I have created a "group above" table with two levels like this:
    Group Level 1
    Group Level 2
    table_element_1 table_element_2 table_element_n
    On the first page, both group level 1 and group level 2 print. As I get subsequent group level 2 breaks, the report won't repeat level 1 so I only get Group level 2 in my heading. The output is coming out like this:
    Group Level 1
    Group Level 2
    table_element_1 table_element_2 table_element_n
    Group Level 2a
    table_element_1 table_element_2 table_element_n
    Group Level 2b
    table_element_1 table_element_2 table_element_n
    I always want to repeat group level 1 in my table heading. Is there a an xml or template command that I can use to say "always print" ?
    I'd like to see it like this:
    Group Level 1
    Group Level 2
    table_element_1 table_element_2 table_element_n
    Group Level 1
    Group Level 2a
    table_element_1 table_element_2 table_element_n
    Group Level 1
    Group Level 2b
    table_element_1 table_element_2 table_element_n

    Probably you are using tables to format it as each group.
    so in-order to display the group level element 1 ,
    You got to display that element before the second group table .
    its like
    <for-each:level1>
    <GRP-LEVEL1-ELEMENT>
    <for-each:level2>
    <GRP-LEVEL2-ELEMENT>
    ..................something else
    <end-for-each>
    <end-for-each>
    you can select the table and table properties, repeat as header row in top of every page
    pass me your template and xml to fusionDOTobjectATgmailDOTcom.
    i wll have a look at where you went wrong ;)

  • How to make a dynamic wwi template?

    Hello,
    I have to develop a wwi template for a label product. In this template I have 3 boxes to put SAP phrases in 3 different languages.
    Depending of the material for which I want to print my label, the 3 languages to print are not the same.
    My idea is to create a specific table in SAP, and depending of the material, the template will get, with a modul function for example, languages to use.
    Ex:
    material1 EN
    material1 FR
    material1 IT
    material2 DE
    material2 PT
    material2 ES
    If I want to print a label for material2, the template will find languages DE, PT and ES and used it to put phrases in boxes of my wwi template (1 boxe = 1 language).
    Do you think it possible?
    Do you have other solutions to meet my need?
    Thank in advance for your help.
    Best regards,
    /Ludovic

    Hello Ludovic
    luckily you created two "subthreads". Therefore I try to answer per thread:
    Thread 1: answer:
    1.) a WWI report of any kind (MSDS, Label SOP etc.) does always ! have one "leading validity area" and one ! leading language
    This is an very important aspect in label determination !
    Therefore you do not ! realize in using cg54/cg50 on first glance by SAP standard that a combination of genvar with leading languages (released) contains languages
    1.)  FR, IT, ES as in your first example or
    2.) EN, IR, DA in your second example
    and this is one of the reasons why label determation is quite tricky and very hard to find "solutions".
    Now if we still discuss the "label to stock" topic and if you carefully read
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/en/a7/288aa30a6c11d28a220000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
    you will realize that there is the option to perform "Additional user entries" which in my opinion could be used to "change" the label determination process so that the system will find "automaticaly" the "correct" label (e.g customer is in italy !)
    In any case: I hope you realized that it is "not" easy to find the right label. In  my opion it is not "allowed" to have an overlap.
    That means the G groups must be designed in such a way that they "contain" always three different languages (or you would need more logic etc.)
    Coming back to your example:
    Assuming that you have used genvar1 to create the label you "must" define the "leading" languages. Normally only the e.g. "R phrases" etc. must be printed on the label in more than one language. Therefore the "rest" of the template can be described by using one language (keep in mind that you need often "phrases" to be printed on the document. E.g. Phrases which could contain information like the word: "company" which is once again language dependent). Therefore as europe is quite complex you need a lot of labels (I believe we have 25 and more languages in EU). Now it is very important to define based on thje leading languages which "sublanguages" should show up in the document.
    May be this gives your further hints in finding options/solutions
    Thread 2 answer:
    Once again back to the topic "validity area" in general. I am sorry. I can not provide you a "specific" answer to your question
    The validity area "aims" as the linkt between "country" and content of WWI document (in some sense).
    From the point of report at least the "released" WWI report (or the report which is generated on the fly) is of interest. Normally as in the SAP standard there is a "link" between plant (make to stock scenario) and legislation which an help. It is clear that a label regarding a plant in europe should have R/S sentences (or H/P) as a content. Now on the "top" (to make it more complex) you have different sizes of packaging of materials (drum, ...); therefore you need "sizes" (like A4) to descirbe the "max" size of label there "all" informaiotn should be placed on.
    The "label view" as well the "label stock" topic (to my understanding) aims as a "further" help to find the right label (right size, right validity area, right content etc.)
    May be you "misunderstood one WWI topic (or I misinterpret you)
    - in label printing transaction: change countries: IT
    Normally this does not change the language of the label (if we are talking about released reports).
    The "G group" is expanded during "raw report" generation. Only the "mat name" and other information is expanded later.
    Regarding GLM: this is from my point of view a "comlex" submodule of EH&S and you need very ! good business concepts and set up to get the desired result (in label determination etc.).
    So im sorry: I can not provide to you a final answer.
    With best regards
    C.B.

  • Fixed length outer table with nested repeating group inner table.

    I had to re-create a PDF using tables in an RTF template. It has a fixed 1 page width. However, one of the rows in the template has a nested table with a repeating group. I set the width of the outer table row width to 2". However when I have repeating groups it makes the outer row grow wider than the 2" inches. The option to un-select "automatically resize to fit contents" is grayed out.
    Is there a way to keep the outer table width fixed with an inner repeating group?
    Thanks.

    Hi Borris,
    Found the following in the Oracle Documentation under: Oracle8i Application Developer's Guide - Object-Relational Features Release 2 (8.1.6)
    2 Managing Oracle Objects / Using Collections / Collection Unnesting
    URL: http://www.znow.com/sales/oracle/appdev.816/a76976/adobjmng.htm#1002885
    Oracle8i also supports the following syntax to produce outer-join results:
    SELECT d.*, e.* FROM depts d, TABLE(d.emps)(+) e;
    The (+) indicates that the dependent join between DEPTS and D.EMPS should be NULL-augmented. That is, there > will be rows of DEPTS in the output for which D.EMPS is NULL or empty, with NULL values for columns
    corresponding to D.EMPS.

  • Crosstab repeating group

    Hi all...
    My data is not properly arranged inside the crosstab..I'm using for-each-group above the crosstab..so for the loops inside the crosstab I'm using as current-group...Here is my template structure
    <?for-each-group:GROUP;NAME?>
    <?NAME?>
    inside crosstab
    (1,1)<?horizontal-break-table:1?>

    outside the crosstab...
    <?end for-each-group?>The 2X2 of the crosstab data doesn't display properly....if I replace GROUP with current-group() in 2X2 then also the data is not showing up properly(In this case for jun-2007 the cell should be empty..the values are moving to the left)

  • Data from repeating group not showing in preview

    Hello experts,
    I would like to consult with you regarding a problem I have in BI publisher.
    I have tried creating a delivery receipt using BI publisher and when I preview it in word, everything is fine.
    The problem is that when I finally upload to BI publisher and try to view it there, the data that is supposed to show up within the repeating groups are missing.
    I have already validated the template before uploading and they look fine.
    I also am doubtful that the cause is because of a lack of data source because I have some fields that are outside the repeating group, but they have been retrieved without any problems.
    I have created a similar report using an older version of the XML Publisher and I didn't encounter a problem like this. I have also tried searching online but nothing really nails the problem that I am having. Do you have any insights regarding this?
    Appreciate your soonest response on this. Thank you!
    ~Jovee

    Hi sam thanks...I can see that data in extractor but not in PSA , that means it should not be in tra str /update rules/. the problem must be in extractor ...please help how to get this date in PSA as is...
    I have one more issue, when Iam loading the data from PSA to cube the data was half loaded and then the remaining half has yellow status in monitor...when I checked in simulation mode the following message is coming " Enter rate USD / rate type M for 30.03.2007 in the system settings" do you have any idea on how to fix this ?
    thanks

  • Repeating Group header on each page

    Hello Everybody,
    I have two groups in my report. For my first group value, i have given report - group expert - options and checked "Repeat group header on each page" assuming that my first group values will appear on each page. But it is not doing so. In one of the page the group footer values are appearing without my first group values.
    I belive my problem is my second group values are ending in one page and first group values are  extended to next page . Can any one please hep me.

    if that is the case Narukonda 1, there are several sap notes dealing with this issue...please see this sap note [here |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes%7B6163636573733d36393736354636443646363436353344333933393338323636393736354637333631373036453646373436353733354636453735364436323635373233443330333033303331333233313333333133373339%7D.do]which deals with both orphaned group footers and group headers.

  • How to repeat group head on each page

    I have problem with repeat group heaf on each page, I've ticked the option 'Repeat group head on each page' from the Change Group Option. But the group head didn't appear on each page when I previewed the report. Does anyone have a solution/explaination to this?
    Cheeers

    Sorry Gents, I did't make my porblem clear.
    To James Terry
    Yes, My reports contain one or more sub-groups (only group 1's group header needs to be repeat on each page).
    To Graham Cunningham
    I found pages , containing only group 1's group footer summarized info, don't display group 1's group header. Just like what you said ' It will only repeat on pages that display group information'. Is this a bug or sort of default rule? What else can I do if I want the group header to repeat on each page no matter whether there is group info or not, besides moving the info from group header to pager header?
    Thanks a lot.
