X axis label not visible

Hi .
I am plotting 6 variables against time using the strip chart using the scroll mode. I can label all my Y axis labels but my x axis label is never visible.I want to show what the x axis represents to my user. How do I rectify this problem?
I have enabled the show label for the x axis.

Two possible origins to your problem :
1/ The label is hidden by the graph pane. Right click on the graph, then "Advanced.../Reset Scale Layout"
2/ The label is visible, but contains an empty string. Right click on the graph, then "Xscale/Formatting..." and give a name to the scale...

Chart Axis Labels Not Always Accepting Style Properties

I have two charts as seen in the following screenshot and in one my style properties are taking effect, in the other the style font size is not taking effect for one of the axis.
I have this CSS which I know does affect some areas of both charts:
BarChart, ColumnChart, PieChart, LineChart, Series, ChartItem, PieSeriesItem, AxisRenderer, ChartLabel
 font-size: 16;
I also have axis renderers defined:

The left chart where axis labels are styled properly has 10 data items coming in, and the right chart has 6 items coming in.
I don't know why the axis font size is being ignored in one case, but more importantly, how can I prevent it from being ignored (even if it is due to longer strings, in case that may be related).

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can get around this.
I'm guessing I need to override AxisRenderer, but all its relevant methods are private.
Should I create a label factory instead?

BIP 11.1.1.7 - Stacked Bar chart data label not visible in pdf

Hi all,
I have a report built with the online editor. This contains a stacked bar chart with percentage values in a repeating section and I made the property DataVisible=true.
When I view the report in interactive mode it all works: I can see the data label for every value of the parameter but when I view in any other format (PDF, PPT, ecc..) the data labels are visible in the first chart (for the first value of the parameter) while in the other charts they aren't. This doesn't happens for other types of chart, for example with a pie chart.
Can someone help me or tell if it is a bug?

List: Scrolled item's label not visible. Help!

I've created a subclass of List so that I can scroll through the list without the use of scrollbars. The test application is spin-off of the List sample app. But when using the buttons to scroll down or up, some of the items in the list are not being shown properly.
Does anyone know how get the labels of the list items to refresh themselves, or, is there a better approach for performing the manual scrolling so that this doesn't happen?
Here is the code I'm using to do the scrolling. This is in the subclass of List...

The label associated with an LOV entry for a Select List.
If I have a list of areas, say defined as
STATIC:Hobbiton;1,Bywater;2,Harbottle;3and a branch to a page with a report region showing a report based on the value of the area select list, I want a dynamic region title to show Results for Hobbiton rather than Results for 1, which is what you get if using a title defined as

Y Axis label color inherits Pen color and not the default Label color.

How do I enforce my Y Axis Label to taken the default color specified in the iChart Y-Axis Label Color property instead of picking it from the Pen color selected from the legend? I have a Y-Axis Label called "Total Stock", I can very well change the Label text using method
document.TestChart.getChartObject().setYAxisLabel("Label from code");
But when I use a similar
document.TestChart.getChartObject().setYAxisLabelColor(Color);
property, I dont see the color change on the screen. But when I get the color using a getYAxisLabelColor() method , the specified input Color is set. My Label in the Y-Axis, always inherits the Pen color of the selected Legend Item, by default the first Item color on Page Load.
Settings done in the iChart:
Use Selected Pen for label : Unchecked
Y Axis Label Color: #000000
Y Axis Label : Total Stock
Show Y Axis Label: Checked.

I tried the method you mentioned...
document.TestChart.getChartObject().setYAxisLabelColor(document.TestChart.createColor("#000000"));
But I still dont see a change in the Label color.
Another finding is, when I try to alert the Label color on load of the page or during the creation of the applet, I see the label color on the alert is not the pen1color but the default Label color that is set in the display template. I assume that the legend's default selection, overwrites the Label color with the first pen color, but I could not get it with the getYAxisLabelColor() method, even though I see it on the screen.

LineChart does not show x-Axis labels

I create a LineChart using actionscript 3 and populate data values in it. The graph show lines but not any axis labels. Here is my code:

I tried using the labelFunction for categoryAxis and traced the values. The problem is trace shows its getting correct values but they're not showing up on the chart.
One more thing. Is there any way I could highlight data points on the chart?

Graph Data does not align with the axis label

Thanks for looking into it.
Actually we have just added a field GJAHR (was missing in the extractor) so that it takes data accoring to fiscal yr. Actually we had a issue that the Business area for a particular vendor 'X' and doc no 'Y' was showing incorrectly (similar to that of yr 2008) but it changed this yr and the extractor was still picking Business Area for yr 2008.
So we added GJAHR field so that it takes correct Business Area. we have checked in R/3 Extractor checker and it shows correctly.
But that change has not reflected in BW yet even after replicating datasource.

Does not display axis label in graph when exported to excel

I have a wierd issue.I have a report with graph with coloum chart and axis labels description on x axis.WHen i export the report to PDF everything looks OK.But when i export it to excel few axis labels disapper.Out of 12 labels only 2 apper when exported to excel.Has anyone encountered this issue.
If so is there a way to fix this.
PS: I am using BO XI 3.1 Webi.

I have tried this out with a sample.
In WEBI preview mode and PDF, all axis labels will appear fine.
But when exported to excel, some labels will disappear.
Workaround: We have to increase the chart size in Excel till all axis labels appear clearly.

Setting the title font and axis labels in a graph created with the Report Generation Toolkit

I'm using the LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office to generate Excel worksheets containing plots. Unfortunately, the default font size used in the plots is huge (see attached worksheet). I was able to use Excel Set Graph Font.vi to reduce the size of the axis labels, but there does not appear to be a function to do this to the title and legend. In addition, there does not appear to be a function to set the axis text labels. Before I write my own, has NI released additional functions to perform these tasks?

The graph title and legend font sizes can be changed by accessing a low level VI (Excel_Insert_Chart.vi) that is part of the excelsub.llb that is located at (C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\vi.lib\addons\_office). This VI is called dynamically from within the Excel Insert Graph.vi and it uses VI server technology to access the Excel exposed properties. Attached to this post is an image of the block diagram of this VI after I have modified it to set the font sizes of the title and legend to 15. The circles in the image represent what I had to add to accomplish this.

Application WebDynpro ABAP is not visible in Google Chrome

Hi Experts,
After the Upgrade 7.3 EHP1 in Production System it is not visible the application developed in web dynpro ABAP, in the Employee Self-Service Portal.
In the QA and Development, applications WD ABAP are visible.
What can happen in the Production system?.

Display Column Chart Y Axis Labels in Kilo(K), Million(M)...

Hi Folks,
I would like to display the Y-axis labels of a column chart in Kilo, Millions etc. I used the below mentioned formula in excel for that set of data. Here is the formula [>=1000000]0,,"M";[>=1000]0,"K";0
Though in embedded excel it displays the values as desired, when I assign them to the column chart in Xcelsius the Y axis labels are not as expected. For Kilo it works fine but when it comes to millions it is not displaying accordingly. Any help is appreciated.

If You want to display the Y Axis Labels like Kilo(k),Million(M),Billions(B)...etc.Do the following things ,
goto column chart properties->behaviour->scale in that Enable the Fixed Label size checkbox.

Problem in displaying x-axis label in charts

hi experts,
i am using charts in my report..... the problem is that the label in the x-axis is not getting displayed.
i think it may be due to the no. of columns. i have to display records in chart for 31 days that is there should be 31 bars ...
it is displaying the bars but not the label like (01/06 , 02/06..) in x-axis...where as if i reduce the number of columns it is getting displayed....could you please help me in this..

Hi,
I think you can try with WINSZX = '100' & WINSZY = '100' so that your graphic window opens up with highest cordinates.
And there is a limitation that DATA may contain at most 32 rows. Dispalying all column labels will not be possible if the value is too large.
Alternatively you can try out with function module 'GRAPH_MATRIX_2D'.

Radiobuttons not visible in firefox using h:selectoneradio

We are facing certain issues regarding rendering radio buttons in firefox.
It works fine in IE but doesnot work in Firefox
Please find the below block of code.
In the code shown below,there are two panels for displaying radio buttons.
Last piece of code which displays commandlink is visible ,but the radiobuttons which needs to be shown on pageload is not visible.
When we click on commandlink , the flag showMoreValues turns true and only on click of this link the radiobuttons in second part of the code is visible.
Can you please help me out regarding this issue?

You should probably install Firebug into your Firefox browser. That might help isolate the problem. Also, there's been a recent update to Firefox. Have you installed it? If not, I'd recommend doing that next.
If that doesn't solve it, try removing the components form the page, then adding them back one at a time. You might have a small syntax error on the page that's difficult to see when it's filled with code. Some browsers cope with syntax problems better than others, so what works fine in one browser might not work at all in another.

First tab of Lable Based Menu is not visible in Preview Mode

I have added one Lable Based Menu in my application. If i apply the dynamic visibility to it, in preview mode 1st tab is not visible all other tabs are visible.
Ex. In Lable Based Menu, I have three label :- Distribution Center, Zoo, Bird Park. I have applied dynamic visibility to this component. In preview mode, I am not able to visible the first label (i.e. Distribution Center) while all other labes are working properly.
While i remove the dynamic visibility, All the labes are visible. But my application is not like that so i could not adapt that solution.

Please let me know if you have applied Fix pacK3 for Xcelsius.
I have seen this issue in FP2, which got fixed in FP3. The workaround you can try is including a blank cell.

Train Stop Lables not Visible

Hi All,
I'm using Jdeveloper REL1 PS2 with ADFBC
I'm having a problem getting my train stop labels to render. Besides the train stop label not being visible, everything else is working as advertised. I can navigate though the train stops, the data on my pages appears as expected.. etc.
Here is what I've done so far:
1. I created a bounded taskflow with page fragments and checked "create train" checkbox.
2. In my task flow, I've assigned *<display-name>* values to each view activity participating in the train. See code below. According to the documentation I've read, this is what I need to set to label my train stops. However, when I run my task flow in a region, the the labels are not visible.
I've read section 18.8 in the Fusion Developer's guide, I've followed examples in these two blogs:

I've read previous posts regarding this issue like the this one:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to first name the view activity to desired name first and then change the display name.You will find a good example in JDeveloper Help Topics under Cue Cards>Work with ADF Technologies>Implement a Multi-Step page Flow with ADF Train>Step 2
For Ex:
In the Application Navigator, select the ViewController project and open the Create Task Flow dialog. Enter train-flow.xml in the File Name field. Select both Create as Bounded Task Flow and Create with Page Fragments. Then select Create Train and click OK.
From the Component Palette, ADF Task Flow page, Components panel, drag View and drop it on the blank canvas in the diagrammer. Rename the activity to start. Repeat the procedure to add three more view activities, using the following names: addresses, payment, review.
Drag and drop Task Flow Return on the diagram. Accept the default name of taskFlowReturn1. In the Component Palette, click Control Flow Case. On the diagram, click the review icon, then click the taskFlowReturn1 icon. Rename the control flow case element to commit.
In the Structure window, expand view - start . Right-click train-stop and choose Insert inside train-stop Display Name. In the Property Inspector, enter Start in the Display Name field. Repeat the procedure in step 6 to add train stop display names to the remaining view activities: view - addresses , view - payment, view - review . Use the following values, respectively: Addresses, Payment, Review. In the Application Navigator, select the ViewController project and open the Create Task Flow dialog again. Enter childtrain-flow.xml in the File Name field. Make sure Create as Bounded Task Flow and Create with Page Fragments are selected. Then select Create Train and click OK. From the Component Palette, drag View and drop it on the diagrammer. Rename the activity to billing. Repeat the procedure to add one more view activity, using the name shipping. Drag and drop Task Flow Return on the diagram. Change the name to childFlowReturn1. Draw a Control Flow Case from shipping to childFlowReturn1. Rename the case element to done.
