XI Mapping with contest problem...

Hi to all,
i have this source structure:
ITEM (1..n)
--A
--SUBITEM (0..n)
B
ad i have to map in this target structure:
ITEM1(0..n)
--E
ITEM2(0..n)
--F
ITEM3(0..n)
--G
The rules are: i have to create the ITEM1 if A=1, ITEM2 if A=2 and ITEM3 if A=3
ITEM1 occurence must be equals to SUBITEM occurences and B=A.
Example:
From:
ITEM
--1
--SUBITEM
test
--SUBITEM
test1
ITEM
--2
--SUBITEM
test2
--ITEM
--3
--SUBITEM
test3
To:
ITEM1
--test
ITEM1
--test1
ITEM2
--test2
ITEM3
--test3
Any help will be appreciated
Thank's

Hi Marco,
Try with follow logic:
Text Preview
/ns0:MTP_TARGET=/ns0:MTP_SOURCE=
/ns0:MTP_TARGET/ITEM1=removeContexts(ifWithoutElse([keepss=true]stringEquals(useOneAsMany(/ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/A=, /ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM=, /ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM/B=), const([value=1])), const([value=])))
/ns0:MTP_TARGET/ITEM1/E=/ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM/B=
/ns0:MTP_TARGET/ITEM2=removeContexts(ifWithoutElse([keepss=true]stringEquals(useOneAsMany(/ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/A=, /ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM=, /ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM/B=), const([value=2])), const([value=])))
/ns0:MTP_TARGET/ITEM2/F=/ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM/B=
/ns0:MTP_TARGET/ITEM3=removeContexts(ifWithoutElse([keepss=true]stringEquals(useOneAsMany(/ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/A=, /ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM=, /ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM/B=), const([value=3])), const([value=])))
/ns0:MTP_TARGET/ITEM3/G=/ns0:MTP_SOURCE/ITEM/SUBITEM/B=
Steps:
*Step 1*
useOneAsMany( A , SUBITEM , B )
*Step 2*
equals( +Step1+, Constant[1] )
*Step 3*
ifWithoutElse ( +Step2+ , Constant[ ] )      - Set Use SUPPRES values = TRUE
*Step 4*
RemoveContexts ( +Step 3+ )
*Step 5*
node ITEM1 receive +Step 4+
In ITEM2 and ITEM3 use the same logic, changing the CONSTANT of the Step 2 for values 2 or 3.
And in nodes E, F and G, use directly the node B.

  • Mapping with IDoc problem

    Hi All
    I am having a problem where if I get over about 30 records from my 3rd Party in a file. This data is mapped to the Materials Master IDoc(MATMAS05) and it gets a mapping error when trying to run thru the mapping.

      <SAP:P3>RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformatio~</SAP:P3>
    If I take this data from the Payload in SXMB_MONI and test in the Graphical Mapping tool in Integration Design it crashes with the above error. If I take this file and break into 2 parts and then send thru the mapping tool both files has no error. Does anyopne have any idea why this error occurs(could this be a memroy error - but for like 30 records) and how I can fix this as we would like to do a mass upload - about 9000 records(materials).
    Your help will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Clinton

    Hi
    This is such a weird error.
    I have now started taking this file that I receive from the 3rd party with 200 records and tested it with the mapping tool. The results are as follow: From record 1-31 goes successful, 32-147 goes successfully and 148-200 goes successfully. So if I take the file as one file it crash, but if I break the file into the above 3 files it goes thru fine. for the first part it can only take 31 records, the 115, and then the rest. This does not make any sense, can someone please give me some advise.
    Thanks

  • Problem with "Building interactive maps with Flex" example

    I have been looking at the tutorial by Matt Sheehan Building interactive maps with Flex found at
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/interactive_maps.edu.html
    I have downloaded  Flash Builder 4.6 trial version and followed the example. I have also copied the source code from the example and pasted that into the file mymodestmap.mxml.
    In both cases the application opens a new page in Google Chrome but does not display any map data.
    No errors or warnings are displayed when I run the code from Flash Builder.
    Although I have got plenty of experience of writing software, I am a total beginner when it comes to developing web applications!
    Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong, I have attached the source below.

    Technically, it's Javascript, not Java :) TOTALLY different beasts. I wish they'd never named it Javascript, it's ambiguous. So anyway, on to the point of the whole thing...
    If you want quotes in your values, you'll need to write a function to replace " with \", and pass the values through it. So instead of javascript:passBack('#ENAME#','#JOB#','#SAL#'); you would have javascript:passBack(addslashes('#ENAME#'),addslashes('#JOB#'),addslashes('#SAL#'));. That would mean that ABC"DEF"GH would be passed to the function as ABC\"DEF\"GH and your quotes would stay intact. Search around on the internet for more specifics as to how to pass double quotes in javascript by using backslashes.

  • "Economizing" in a list of maps with identical keys (like a database table)

    Hi there!:
    I've been checking this forum for information about something like what I state in the title of this message, but haven't found such a specific case. I'm commenting my doubt below.
    I'm working with a list of maps whose keys are exactly the same in all them (they're of type String). Indeed it could be considered an extrapolation of a database table: The list contains maps which act as rows, and every map contains keys and values which represent column names and values.
    However, this means to repeat the same key values on every map and this spends memory. Right, maybe it's not such a big spent, but since the list can contains thousands of maps, I think that it would be better to choose a more "economical" way to achieve the same result.
    I had thought about building a class which stored everything as a list of lists and, internally, it mapped that String keys with the corresponding Integer indexes of every list. But then I realized that maybe I was re-inventing the wheel, because it's very probable that someone has already made that. Maybe is there a class on the Core API which allows that?
    Thank you very much for your help.

    Well, after re-reading the Java tutorial which is located in the Sun website I've came to a conclusion which I should have before, when I thought about using StringBuffers as keys of the maps instead of Strings.
    I'm so used to build Strings using literals instead of the "new String ()" constructor (just as everyone) that I had forgotten that, as it happens with any kind of object but not the primary data types, Strings are not passed to the methods by value, but by reference. The fact of them being immutable made me think that they were passed by value.
    Apart of that, my problem also was that using literals I was creating different String objects every time, despite the fact that they were equal about their content (making 400 different keys called "name" for example)
    In other words, I was doing something like this:
    // It makes a list of maps which will contain maps of boy's personal data (as if they were "rows" in a table).
    List <Map <String, Object>> listData = new ArrayList <Map <String, Object>> (listBoy.size ());
    // It loops over a list of Boy objects, obtained using EJB.
    for (Boy boy : listBoy) {
         // It makes a new map containing only the information which I'm interested on from the Boy object.
         Map <String, Object> map = new HashMap <String, Object> (2);
         map.put ("name", boy.getName ());
         map.put ("surname", boy.getSurname ());
         // It adds the map to the list of data.
         listData.add (map);
    }Well, the "problem" here (being too demanding, but I'm :P ) is that I was adding all the time new Strings objects as keys in every map. The key "name" in the first map was different from "name" in the second one and so on.
    I guess that my knowledge got messed at certain point and thought that it was impossible to use exactly the same String object in different maps (the reference, not the same value!). Thus, my idea of using StringBuffers instead.
    But thinking about it carefully, Why not to do this?:
    List <Map <String, Object>> listData = new ArrayList <Map <String, Object>> (listBoy.size ());
    // It makes the necessary String keys previously, instead of using literals on every loop later.
    String name = "name";
    String surname = "surname";
    for (Boy boy : listBoy) {
         // It uses references (pointers) to the same String keys, instead of new ones every time.
         Map <String, Object> map = new HashMap <String, Object> (2);
         map.put (name, boy.getName ());
         map.put (surname, boy.getSurname ());
         listData.add (map);
    }Unfortunately, the "hasCode" method on String is overloaded and instead of returning the typical hash code based on the single ID of the object in memory, it returns one based on its content. That way I can't make sure that the "name" key in one map refers to the same object in memory than another one. I know, I know. The common sense and the Java documentation confirm that, but had loved having an empiric way to demonstrate it.
    I guess that using "javap" and disassembling the generated bytecode is the only way to make sure that it's that way.
    I believe that it's solved now :) (if no one tells me the contrary). I still am mad at myself for thinking that Strings were passed by value. Thinking about it now it had no sense!
    dannyyates: It's curious because re-reading every answer I think that you maybe were pointing to this solution already. But the sentence "you put the +same+ string" was a little ambiguous for me and thought that you meant putting the same String as "putting the same text" (which I already was doing), not the same object reference (in other words, using a common variable). I wish we could have continued discussing that in depth. Thanks a lot for your help anyway :) .

  • Issue in Color Theme on the map with ADF geographic components

    I am facing an issue in bringing up a map using color theme .I can able to bring up a map with color themes using geographic components feature in ADF.
    The problem here is 'Edit Color Map Theme' dialog which lists Map Theme in five categories like continents,counties,countries,states_abbrev,states_names.
    we had implemented map using Color Theme based on the states_abbrev and found it was working properly.
    But after some days we found that the settings we made to work for the map no longer works and resulted in no color theme on the map being displayed on the page.
    It was found that the states_names works properly instead of states_abbrev by that time.
    But again after some days it didnt work with state_names and we revert back our code to follow state_abbrev so as to get the desired result.
    Does somebody know where is the problem and how to approach this issue?

    Quick Install is gone.
    Database repair doesn't work.
    Color coded categories is gone, and as you've discovered Theme colors are gone.
    Print to Excel is gone.
    Many desktop clients that worked with 4.2 do not work.
    It won't work with legacy devces.
    and others.... There are lots of complaints about 6.2 scattered around the forums.  Personally, the HotSync manager keeps forgetting the connections I've set, and goes to default views.
    You aren't missing much of anything, IMHO.

  • Runtime-Error after deploying a mapping with the generated script

    For example a very easy scenario:
    1. Create a table and a view in a DB-schema, witch ist registered as WB-target-schema with the following scripts:
    create view v1(c1) as select 'a' c1 from dual;
    create table t1(c1 varchar2(1));
    2. Import the table and the view into a OWB-module
    3. Create a mapping ‘m1’
    4. Drag and drop view and table into the mapping
    5. Draw an arrow from the view-column to the table-column
    6. Save and close the mapping
    7. Mark the mapping in the ‘Design Center’ and klick the ‘Generate’-Button
    8. Save the generated script ‘M1.pls’ to file
    9. Run the script in SQL*Plus, connected with the target-schema (without using the Control Center Manager)
    => very easy right now ;-)
    10. Start the mapping with the following script will produce the following error
    SQL> declare

    3 begin

    5 end;

    But is this a good advise?
    What exactly does the wrapped package ‘WB_RT_MAPAUDIT_UTIL do?
    Thanks
    jwehner

    I just ran into the same problem myself. I used the same technique of saving the generated OWB script to file and then compiling it through sqlplus. When I used the "Deploy" option for the mapping, then the problem went away. So when OWB is deploying the code it seems to be setting something internally that doesn't get set when you simple compile the PL/SQL. I don't know of any workaround to this. I will need it eventually, since I don't want to use the UI to deploy to various test environments and production. Maybe the built-in scripting language is the way to go.

    Hi Susan
    Which datasource you are using at present. Normally 0PUR_C01 gets loaded from 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_SCL. The keyfigure that you have mentioned will come from 2LIS_02_SCL with the code that you have written.
    The code that you have written should work. Please check if the code is in the transformation from 2LIS_02_SCL.
    Share the details on why do you think the solution didn't work.

    Hi Priya,
    I'm glad to hear that you have solved your problem on your own, but not so glad to see that you did not check the mentioned links! ;-(
    If you would have, then you would have seen that you've done exactly what I mentioned in that thread. But more important, that this is the easiest way to solve the problem but not at all the safest and therefor NOT RECOMMENDED by SAP. I would also rather suggest to solve this problem by installing and using the unlimited strength jurisdiction policy files from Sun Microsystems, Inc.
    Maybe you take your time and read the Note and the mentioned links so that you're informed about the security risks.

  • SAP XI - Mapping with Contexts

    Hi Guys,
    We have a problem when mapping with contexts. Couldyou please help.
    What we are trying to achieve is if PARVW = X then map name2 to name2. We have done this all the way down the DT_Address. The context on both input values are set to IDOC.
    The problem is that when all the fields are in a particular segment occurence then it maps perfectly. But on numerous occurrences of E1EDKA1 various fields are missing i.e.name2 or pstl2 etc. What we want to happen is if the field doesn’t exist in that particular occurrence then just leave blank and don’t map. What is happening instead is XI keeps looking for this field and maps the first occurrence it can find of it. So we end up with like 6 occurrences of the same thing.
    Is their a way to specify that only map the fields if it is within the same occurrence as the qualifier. So basically Name2 follows PARVW to the same occurrence.
    Also is their a way of making it so we don’t get
    Name
    Name
    Name
    Id
    Id
    Id
    Address
    Address
    Address
    And instead get
    Name
    Id
    Address
    Name
    Id
    Address
    Name
    Id
    Address
    Thanks people

    Hi Thanks for your input.
    It was a little to do with the context but in the end I had to put another element in the target structure. So it went
    Customer 0-unbounded
            customerAddress 1-1
                       Details 0-1
                       ETC 0-1
                       ETC 0-1
    I mapped the customer to E1EDKA1
    I mapped customer address to a constant
    and the details I ampped as before but with no context.
    This seemed to work.... I have no idea why but it did work. If anybody could explain the why, I would appreciate it.

    A has records of format( characteres of size(5) , numbers of size(6) , characteres of size(5) )
    B has records of format( characteres of size(5) , numbers of size(6) )
    i have to map these flat files so that rocords with numbers in both files should be added where the records of characters in both files are same) and output a flat file C .
    i.e
    A(aaaaa111111bbbbb222222ccccc111111
    bbbbb111111fffff666666ddddd333333)
    B (aaaaa222222)
    output should be(aaaaa333333)
    i have created the flat file module and could able to sample A and B .
    I have also created an external table based on A and B.but the data is not been showed ih the external table.How to map this.
    Pls guide me.
    srry for being long here.
    Thanks 4 ur time.

    Sounds like your datatypes/settings are incorrect.
    To process a file (let's call it stuff.txt) with fixed length records such as the following...
    aaaaa111111bbbbb222222ccccc111111bbbbb111111fffff666666ddddd
    Here is an example tcl script. There are some variables you have to setup for the flat file module, the oracle module, the File location and project name all of which should exist before running. It will create the flat file, external table, a simple mapping from external table to flat file defined by tcl variable target_file (in same directory as the LOC_SRC_FILES, you can change this..its just for demo purposes and will write a comma separated file). Hopefully this will get you up and going with your problem...
    # Create the modules etc and set the values below, then run
    set project MY_PROJECT
    set ff_module FF
    set ff_location LOC_SRC_FILES
    set ora_module MM
    set target_file my_target_file
    OMBCC '/$OMB_CURRENT_PROJECT'
    OMBDCC
    OMBCC '$ff_module'
    OMBCREATE FLAT_FILE 'FSTUFF' SET PROPERTIES (DATA_FILE_NAME,IS_DELIMITED, RECORD_LENGTH) VALUES ('stuff.txt',0, '16') ADD RECORD 'FSTUFF'
    OMBALTER FLAT_FILE 'FSTUFF' MODIFY RECORD 'FSTUFF' ADD FIELD 'FIELDA' SET PROPERTIES (DATATYPE,START_POSITION,END_POSITION,MAXIMUM_LENGTH) VALUES ('CHAR',1,5,5)
    OMBALTER FLAT_FILE 'FSTUFF' MODIFY RECORD 'FSTUFF' ADD FIELD 'FIELDB' SET PROPERTIES (DATATYPE,START_POSITION,END_POSITION,MAXIMUM_LENGTH) VALUES ('DECIMAL EXTERNAL',6,11,6)
    OMBALTER FLAT_FILE 'FSTUFF' MODIFY RECORD 'FSTUFF' ADD FIELD 'FIELDC' SET PROPERTIES (DATATYPE,START_POSITION,END_POSITION,MAXIMUM_LENGTH) VALUES ('CHAR',12,16,5)
    OMBCC '../$ora_module'
    OMBCREATE EXTERNAL_TABLE 'FSTUFF_EXT' SET PROPERTIES(LOAD_NULLS_WHEN_MISSING_VALUES,TRIM) VALUES (1, 'RIGHT') SET REFERENCE RECORD 'FSTUFF' OF FLAT_FILE '../$ff_module/FSTUFF' DEFAULT_LOCATION '$ff_location'
    OMBCREATE MAPPING 'FILE_TO_FILE'
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'FILE_TO_FILE' ADD EXTERNAL_TABLE OPERATOR 'SOURCE_STUFF' BOUND TO EXTERNAL_TABLE 'FSTUFF_EXT'
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'FILE_TO_FILE' ADD FLAT_FILE OPERATOR 'TARGET_FILE'
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'FILE_TO_FILE' ADD CONNECTION FROM GROUP 'OUTGRP1' OF OPERATOR 'SOURCE_STUFF' TO GROUP 'INOUTGRP1' OF OPERATOR 'TARGET_FILE'
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'FILE_TO_FILE' SET PROPERTIES (GENERATION_LANGUAGE) VALUES ('PLSQL')
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'FILE_TO_FILE' MODIFY OPERATOR 'TARGET_FILE' SET PROPERTIES (TARGET_DATA_FILE_NAME) VALUES ('$target_file')
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'FILE_TO_FILE' MODIFY OPERATOR 'TARGET_FILE' SET PROPERTIES (TARGET_DATA_FILE_LOCATION) VALUES ('$ff_location')
    You can do all this in the UI, just thought it would be useful as a script for you.
    Cheers

  • Layer 7 class-map with different match types

    Hello,
    I am fighting with a problem on an ACE-4710 version A3(2.4) configuation. I just want to configure a layer 7 class-map that matches if one of two conditions is true. The problem is that these conditions are not from the same type and the ACE refuses the second match statement. However, in the configuration guide, it is clearly defined that it should be possible :
    Here is what the configuration guides says :
    host1/Admin(config)# class-map type http loadbalance match-any CLASS3
    host1/Admin(config-cmap-http-lb)# 100 match http url .*.gif
    host1/Admin(config-cmap-http-lb)# 200 match http header Host header-value XYZ
    host1/Admin(config-cmap-http-lb)# exit
    If I test exactly the same configuration in a context of my ACE, I receive an error message :
    CH01AC03/P-104-A(config)# class-map type http loadbalance match-any CLASS3
    CH01AC03/P-104-A(config-cmap-http-lb)# 100 match http url .*.gif
    CH01AC03/P-104-A(config-cmap-http-lb)# 200 match http header Host header-value XYZ
    Error: Match-any classmap can not have different type of match
    If I use nested class-maps, I receive the same error message !
    Is it a known problem or is it a solution for it ?
    Thank you for any help
    Yves

    Hello Yves,
    The command error is correct.  I'll take a look at the docs and see about getting them corrected, if necessary.
    Basically, for a match-all, you would have to use different types.  For example, there will only be one Host header, so you would only specify it once using regex or a fixed string.  As you found out, the match-any requires that they all be of the same type.  See my example below:
    class-map type http loadbalance match-all HEADER-AND-URL
      100 match http url /login.*
      200 match http header Host header-value "XYZ"
    class-map type http loadbalance match-any URLS
      100 match http url .*\.gif
      200 match http url .*\.jpg
    class-map type http loadbalance match-any HEADER
      200 match http header Host header-value "CISCO"
    policy-map type loadbalance first-match SLB_LOGIC
      class HEADER-AND-URL
        serverfarm LOGIN-FARM
      class URLS
        serverfarm IMAGES-FARM
      class HEADER
        serverfarm CISCO-FARM
      class class-default
        serverfarm WWW-FARM
    So let's say you want to match requests for URLs ending in .jpg or for requests with Host header XYZ, and if it matches either one, then send to the same serverfarm.
    class-map type http loadbalance match-any URL-JPG
      2 match http url .*\.jpg
    class-map type http loadbalance match-any HOST-XYZ
      2 match http header Host header-value "XYZ"
    policy-map type loadbalance first-match SLB_LOGIC
      class URL-JPG
        serverfarm SERVER-FARM
      class HOST-XYZ
        serverfarm SERVER-FARM
    If you wanted to send these requests to the farm only if they matched BOTH matches, then you could do it as follows:
    class-map type http  loadbalance match-all HEADER-AND-URL
       100 match http url /login.*
       200 match http header Host header-value "XYZ"
    policy-map type  loadbalance first-match SLB_LOGIC
       class HEADER-AND-URL
         serverfarm LOGIN-FARM
    Hope this helps,
    Sean

  • How to implement a client side map with ObjectImage control?

    We need to implement a client side map with an ADF Faces ObjectImage control. In the code below, the JSF Faces GraphicImage contol does support a client side image map using the usemap property. However, it appears that the ADF Faces ObjectImage control does not support a client side map. Is there someway of implementing this functionality in an ObjectImage control?
    <h:graphicImage url="/images/map-usa.gif"
    usemap="#m_mapusa"
    binding="#{backing_map.graphicImage2}"
    id="graphicImage2"
    style="border-style:none;"/>
    <af:objectImage source="/images/map-usa.gif"
    binding="#{backing_map.objectImage2}"
    id="objectImage2" />
    We could use the Graphic Image control except we have a problem by mixing a JSF GraphicImage control in the same table with a variety of ADF Faces controls in that when a user clicks on the GraphicImage, then the browser windows scrolls down to center the GraphicImage control. A user then needs to scroll back up to see the rest of the page. If an ObjectImage control is used with an onClick action, then the page does not scroll, which is what we want. So if we can figure out how to add a client side map to an ObjectImage control we would get the desired results.
    An alternative might be to use a server side map with the ObjectImage control. But our question here is how to implement the existing client side image map in a backing bean. As the following map code shows, not all image map areas are rectangles - some are polygons.
    <area id="_state_05" href="#"
    shape="rect"
    coords="681,38,702,50"
    target="_self" value="VT" alt="Vermont"
    onclick="javascript:getDtl(this);"/>
    <area id="_state_06" href="#"
    shape="poly"
    coords="221,442,209,436,209,418,191,403,155,382,116,367,101,370,98,364,
    122,355,158,367,203,388,212,394,242,427"
    target="_self" value="HI" alt="Hawaii"
    onclick="javascript:getDtl(this);"/>

    Hi,
    Any news about that issue, we are also interested in any solution.
    Thanks

  • ABAP Mapping with Value Mapping

    Hi folks,
    Anyone knows if it is possible to query a value mapping table inside an ABAP mapping?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ricardo.

    Hi Bhavesh,
    Thanks for your prompt answer.
    I’m already using the Value Mapping with Master data Replication on several graphical mappings. Unfortunately, some changes happened for one mapping program, the complexity increased and the graphical mapping doesn’t fulfill these new requirements. So, I thought to use ABAP mapping, because is a language that I know well.
    I understood your concern; we are talking about two levels, ABAP and Java stack. It will be needed a call from ABAP stack to Java Stack, but maybe there is an API for that? But, about system performance, I guess Value Mapping its better then RFC lookup, right?
    My mapping problem is: I need to generate two nodes (not a field) every time the code “MODI” (modification) comes in a source field. Inside these two nodes, I have to fill a field, into first node, with an old id and for the second node with the new id.
    I can’t found any standard function to fulfill this requirement. Maybe this is easy with UDF, but I’m not filling comfortable with Java and I don’t know how to do it. If you know, please let me know.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ricardo.
