XML class generator error

Hi all:
I've download the XDK and I got the error when I try to run the demo by typing following command
xmlcg -d CG.dtd sample.xml
"Failed to initialize parser, code 201"
Any help will be very appreciated

IMPORTANT: XML Class Generator Feature Test

To Those of you who are using our XML Class Generator, we would
really like some feedback regarding your tests of the following
features:
1) validation -- turn it on/off with DTDs
2) character set encoding -- ask them to try different ones
3) DTDs -- included in the XML file and also have it as an
external DTD;
4) XML 1.0 conformance -- see if the XML documents created
conform to the spec;
5) print methods -- try them out
We would like to go production in the near future and need this
feedback.

I am using classgen version 1.0.1.0.0
and xmlparser version 2.0.0.1.0....
everythings in the CLASSPATH...
I could compile the SampleMain.java in the classgen/samples directory .
But when i run it with any dtd or the provided widl.dtd i get the following error

XML Schema Class Generator Problem compiling generated java programs

I ran oracg on the po.xsd schema from X3Cs XML Schema Part 0: Primer which successfully generated the java codes. I ran into problems when I compile the generated classes. Here's what I'm getting:

Running the demo which comes with oracles version of po.xsd was OK. What's the difference between the po.xsd from oracle and the po.xsd from W3C? Are there any W3C recommendation for XML Schema not supported by Oracle's class generator?

Which po.xsd do you use? Would you post it?

XML Parser, Class Generator demo problem

Hello,
I have downloaded today the XML Parser and the Class Generator. I have successfully compiled the SampleMain.java coming with the kit. When running it there is a problem with the expected DTD filename input.
The program prints out the needed format as:
Usage: java SampleMain [-root <rootName>] <fileName>
fileName Input file, XML document or external DTD file
-root <rootName> Name of the root Element (required if the input file is an external DTD)
Whatever I try as DTD filename input fails.
I work on Windows-NT!
I have tried running with JDK 1.1.7.a and JDK 1.2.2.

Make you have Widl.xml and Widl.dtd are
in the current directory. Also, remember
Java is case sensitive.
If you are still getting errors, please

Validating XML files and generating error codes

I want to validate an XML file with a schema & also get hold of the fields/attributes/tags
that caused an error and generate error codes based on that. Any suggestion on
how this can be done. DOM, SAX allow to do validation but how do I know exactly
know which tags caused errors. We have to track the errors codes.

handler registered to get hold of the errros. What happens is the parsing stops
at the first instance of an error. I want to continue parsing to get hold of all

For those who would have the same problem, here is how I could eventually fix it.
Since the Flex Test Drive is sometimes out of sync with flash builder 4, I recreated a project using other help pages on Adobe site :

As suggested, I used the New Project wizard to create a new project, with :
Application server type : J2EE
Check the radio button "Use remote object access service : BlazeDS"

Hi,
Actually the problem occurs when the xml file is generated with all the columns of the tables. Not seeing any data in th xml file and includes that message of error.
When in the xml code I determined display all the information of the tables considering only specific columns (14 columns for example) the xml file is generated successfully with all the information contained in the table only for those columns. but I need this xml file is generated with all the information for the tables columns describes in the first post publicated. : (
Do you have any idea of the cause for this error? Can you help me, please?

XML C++ SDK Class Generator Question

Hello.
I have an XML schema definition file where some elements are defined inside other elements. When I generate classes for this schema I don't get classes for such elements (but only for the outermost level elements). How to use the class generator in this situation ? Do I miss something ?

David, can you please provide more information or small example, how can I extract OracleConnection or Oracle Specific Driver inside the Weblogic App. Server and not generic weblogic.jdbc.rmi.SerialConnection instance.

Generic Populating the XML document using Java Class Generator and Reflection

I am looking for a generic source code in order to convert the data parsed from any tabular text form ( tab delimited for example that maps certain XML Schema created form Database Schema for Oracle.
I know it is possible to generate XML DTD or XSD from Oracle database table schema by XSU utility from XDK. And also it is possible to create Java source files from an XML DTD or XSD by using XML Clas Generator.
I believe there must be some generic code that parses tabular text data and converts them to XML format using above mentioned generated Java source files and may be Java reflection mechanism.
If anyone has any tool or knows any free ware that helps me, I would like to know about it, and I would really appreciate it.

1. Read the XML file into a DMO object, walk the DOM to find the list, insert your new entry as a child, write the DOM back to a file.
2. If the XML is not in a file, but in a string, then you can do the same with string input and output.

Could not instantiate JhsApplicationGenerator class: No bean named 'nullPGItemModel' is defined
I'm unclear from the thread where I need to look for the problem template.

Please start a new thread for a new problem the next time.
When you get this error, you forgot to set the display type for an item. The navigator tree should also show a warning icon for the item to indicate the missing required property.

Sorry. I saw the similar error message in that thread about nullPG ... model and thought it was the same problem. In any case, this is a new one now so I can relate my solution in case someone else runs into it.
I was getting that generator error message even though all my items had display types and no warning icons appeared in the navigator tree.
However, I had a master group with no items in it and had made changes to region-metadata.xml. After backing out the region-metadata changes and adding a master group item, I was able to generate. I suspect the region-metadata changes more than the missing item because a group with no items throws a clear message that the Descriptor Item is missing. Of course, I can't reproduce the error at the moment.

How to compile the Java classes generated in JAXB

I am using Windows 2000 Operating System. I found a xjc
batch file on the sun's java forum.
I used that to generate classes from XML. After generating
the classes I could not compile
the classes each depends on other AND THEY REQUIRE BOTH
