  • Writing XML Object to a File

    Hi, I am using InDesign JavaScript to make an XML object in memory. When my script is done, I want to write the XML to a file. When I run the code below, the file is created, but the XML is not written to the file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Rick
    #target indesign
    var partsMap = <partsMap />;
    savePartsMap (partsMap);
    function savePartsMap (partsMap) {
        var partsFile;
        // Make a File object for the parts map XML file.
        partsFile = new File("E:\\Test.xml");
        // Open the map file.
        partsFile.open("w");
        partsFile.write(partsMap);
        partsFile.close();

    Add partsFile.encoding = 'UTF-8'; right after your File instantiation.
    I'm not sure but you also might want to write partsMap.toXMLString() instead of the partsMap.toString() you're implicitly writing.

  • R12 Payment Process Request Status Report adding extra columns to XML data.

    In 11i, we had modified the Preliminary Payment Report to include extra columns ( invoice distributions). In r12 , that report is obsolete and Oracle introduced a new report "Payment Process Request Status Report". This request uses BI Publisher to generate the final report output. I am unable to modify the template since the XML output of the report does not
    contain the invoice distribution account data. We need to know how can we modify the XML data to include the extra columns.
    For Funds Disbursement Process ( Payment Instruction File) , Oracle provides IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB extensibility package to construct custom XML element structure that can be added to the payment XML extract generated by Oracle Payments. Do we have something similar for this report ? Are there any other options available ?
    Thanks

    Hi
    The same package "IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB" works for payment process request status report also. Please add the logic to get the distribution data in this package and you will see the new XML tags in this report also.
    Hope this helps.

  • Automatic Payment Process through IDOC and Receive Message Acknowledgement and BANST file format

    Hi Experts,
    We are implementing payment process to our client through Idoc.
    Normally the process will go like below. Once Payment Initiated --> IDoc will generate --> This Idoc process through PI system and send to Bank.--> Once payment data received bank --> it will generate acknowledgement receipt and Bansta file and send it PI system --> This PI system system again send it --> SAP system. Here I want to know the required configuration from PI system to SAP system while receiving acknowledgement and Bansta file. And let me know if u guys have steps...
    Thanks,
    Raviram

    Hi,
    >is possible using the fileadapter to read this file and with pass it throug PI to IDOC receiver adapter without any mapping?
    yes
    >In that case what should the Message Type we are using in the file-sender adapter look like?
    If you have no mapping it doesnt matter, the message type will not be validated during runtime. You can take the IDoc type imported from the SAP system

  • Converting ISO20022 XML Payment file to PAYEXT iDoc using PI 7.1

    Hi All,
    As per my requirement :  R/3 generates ISO20022 XML Payment file . PI will pick the file and converts into PAYEXT  Idoc and send back to the same R/3.
    I have some doubts regarding this...
    1)Is ISO20022 XML Payment file also like normal xml file in R/3  OR  different.
    2) Can we use file adapter to pick the file.
    3)Any modules required in CC.
    4)Can I go with normal file to Idoc scenario.
    Thanks

  • Mount-DiskImage in a remote session exeception- Cannot process Cmdlet Definition XML for the following file:

    Hi everybody,
    I have a strange problem with Mount-DiskImage command.
    Environment: Windows server 2012 without any updates.
    All scripts signed as it was in Hanselman's blogpost

    First script(script1) executing on one machine (server1), then copy another script(script2) to the remote server(server2) and run script2 in a PS-Session. Both are signed. Certificates are located on both servers.
    In a script I tried to

     $mountVolume = Mount-DiskImage -ImagePath $ImageSourcePath -PassThru

    But getting exception.

  • Stumped: Why won't DITA-OT process my Frame 9 map file?

    I'm stuck and hope someone might provide some guidance. I'm running Frame 9 on Windows XP.
    I've created a very simple map file and am trying to get it to process in the DITA OT.
    Everything appears to be set up correctly (I specify which Dita map is to be transformed...
    etc.), but when I click Transform, I get the following error message:
    "WinANT Build Error
    It appears the build process failed. Either no log file was produced or the log file stylesheet
    was not generated into the output directory.This means the process didn't complete correctly."
    It then tells me:
    -To be sure I have the Java JDK installed. (I do.)
    -Check that the Dita OT dir on the DITA tab is pointing to the correct
    location of the DITA toolkit. (It is.)
    -To deselect the Overrides on the advanced tabs ( I did.)
    -Tweak the fix resolver checkbox on the DITA OT tab (I tried.)
    Sigh.....nothing seems to work.
    Just wondered if anyone might a clue as to what's going on.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Gary

    Hi Gary...
    Note that you don't "import" files into the DITA-OT. The OT is a tool for generating output from DITA files .. you use it to create various types of deliverables from DITA files.
    Yes .. the FrameMaker DITA-OT connector plugin does seem to have fallen off the web .. I've asked around, but no one will fess up to where it's gone. I may make a plugin for this purpose .. it's very nice to have this built into Frame. You might want to look into using the DITA-FMx plugin, which provides many additional DITA authoring and publishing features as well as an OT connector. You can download the DITA-FMx trial from my website ..
    http://leximation.com/dita-fmx/
    It is possible that WinANT doesn't like FM9 DITA files, but I'm thinking that's not the case. You should try building (generating) output from the DITA samples provided in the DITA-OT using WinANT .. that will determine if the problem lies in your WinANT installation or with the FM9 DITA files.
    BTW .. the command line isn't all that hard to use. Just locate the DITA-OT folder .. it should contain a file named "startcmd.bat" .. run that file to get the shell from which to run the commands. Once the DOS shell opens up, you can enter the following to create XHTML output from your map file ..
    java -jar lib/dost.jar /i:C:/PATH/MAP.DITAMAP /outdir:C:/PATH/OUT  /transtype:xhtml
    Where "C:/PATH/MAP.DITAMAP" is the path and filename of your ditamap file, and "C:/PATH/OUT" is the path and folder where you want the output created.
    In theory, this should all work .. but as you might expect there are reasons that it may not.
    Cheers,
    ...scott

  • Spring app cant find hmb.xml mapping file

    Hi, i am working on a spring mvc app using hibernate and i am having some trouble compiling and running my code.
    This is because it cannot find my FileObject.hmb.xml whenever i try to create a session factory bean.
    my bean looks like this
    <bean id="sessionFactory"
              class="org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean">
              <property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource1"></property>
              <property name="mappingResources">
                   <list>
                        <value>FileObject.hmb.xml</value>
                   </list>
              </property>
              <property name="hibernateProperties">
                   <props>
                        <prop key="hibernate.dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect</prop>
                        <prop key="hibernate.show_sql">true</prop>
                        <prop key="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto">create</prop>
                   </props>
              </property>
         </bean>     And the FileObject.hmb.xml resides in the root of my WAR folder. i have tried to move this file to different folders including the actual src folder and providing the correct path in the session factory but it still gives me a FileNotFoundException.
    is this because java doesnt recognise a hello.hmb.xml type of file? Most if not all file formats are like this: name.extension
    hibernate mapping files seems to be different though

    Look at the API for the setMappingResources method:
    [http://static.springsource.org/spring/docs/2.5.x/api/org/springframework/orm/hibernate3/LocalSessionFactoryBean.html]
    It's going to search the class path, this usually means unpacked classes and resources in the /WEB-INF/classes directory of your web application archive, plus classes and resources in JAR files under the /WEB-INF/lib directory. Example formats for the resources: "example.hbm.xml", "mypackage/example.hbm.xml", "mypackage/myotherpackage/example.hbm.xml".
    You can add locations of Hibernate mapping files with the setMappingLocations method.

    Hi,
    I am using oracle 11g report server. I am getting the error of REP-52005: The specified key userlogin does not exist in the key map file.
    I updated the user_string in cgicmd.dat file. My cgicmd.dat file content is below
    ; OracleAS Reports Services                       ;

    ; Syntax:

    ; VALUE - command line parameters and/or special parameters.
    ; Keys can be referenced in the following ways:
    ;    1. Parameter on command line to the reports servlet
    ;          e.g. http://machine/servlet/rwservlet?KEY
    ;    2. Parameter on command line to a reports jsp
    ;          e.g. http://machine/mydir/myreport.jsp?KEY
    ;    3. Within a reports jsp - in the rw:report custom tag
    ;          e.g. <rw:report parameters="KEY">
    ; In addition to the Reports Server command line parameters, VALUE can include special parameters

    ;  %* - entire contents (all arguments) of original rwservlet URL request.
    ;  %D - request users to input database userid everytime they run the report.
    ;  %P - request for report parameter form in HTML format. It generates the PARAMFORM=HTML

    uncomment #KEYPMAPFILE=CGICMD.DAT. remove the #
    then for development set
    reloadkeymap=yes (same file - rwservlet.properties).
    Now it should reload everytime. (otherwise for every change u need to restart oc4j_bi_forms)
    (For * production* may be you want to set reloadkeymap=no once all testing is done)
    see cgicmd.dat for many examples of using keymap file

  • How to create an Excel file from XML in the Receiver File Adapter Comm Ch

    How do I create an Excel file from XML in the Receiver File Adapter Communication Channel? I have my mapping done and I am outputting the file as a comma delimited csv file. However, the target can only process an Excel file (.xls). How can I generate an Excel in XI?
    I saw this blog, but I don't know how to create a XSLT transformation.
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/12/10/xi-generating-excel-files-without-the-java-nor-the-conversion-agent-not-possible
    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Here are the steps I took to create an XSLT transformation in XI 3.0:
    1. I created my source and target XSDs using XMLSpy.
    2. I created the XSLT mapping from source to target in XMLSpy (referencing the souce XSD schema).
    3. I created another XSLT mapping to format the target into Excel XML.
    4. Import the source and target XSDs in the IR's External Definitions
    5. Zip each XSLT mapping (.xls) and import it into the IR's Imported Archives
    6. Reference the XSL mappings in the Interface Mapping

  • Process txt files in zip file

    Hello everybody,
    I have a scenario where PI needs to obtain a zip file via FTP using the File adapter, this zip file contains a number of txt files that I need to process, and the content of one of them send it to an ECC, now I'm using the PayloadZipBean Module in the Sender FIle Adapter, and I have two things if I use the Message Protocol as File, I get a Payload for each txt file in the zip file, but this payload has no structure, and if I use the File Content Conversion I get an XML strcuture with only one field and a strange string in it, and somewhere in this string the names of the files I assume all the content of the zip file, can anyone help on how could I achieve what I need that is to pull the zip file via SAP PI, then unzip it, and with the content of one of the txt files send it to an ECC via ABAP Proxy, thanks in advance for your answers.
    Regards,
    Julio Cesar

    Hi,
    you can do it in futher way ...
    pickup zip file and simply extract and dump it in another temp folder (can use scripts on OS level).
    @ then Use another sender communication channel to pickup all these text file .
    for further clarification you can use these links also. -

    The Project uses the 5761 low speed clip and a DRAM FIFO.
    I tried to compile it before installing any patch, after installing the DRAM patch, and after installing both patches and always got a Xilinx error after ~10 minutes compile time. The error summary shown above and the attached Xilinx log are from compiling with both patches installed.

    Hi Torpedotown,
    Can you tell me what version of FlexRIO Adapter Module Support you are using?
    The 5761 Low Speed CLIP has a constraint that doesn't work properly with some versions of the compilation tools.  In order to solve this you should be able to upgrade to our latest version of FAM support, or go change the constraint manually.
    For the latest version of FAM support, go to http://ni.com/info and enter code "famsoftware"
    If you've modified constraint files before and feel comfortable doing it yourself, let me know and I can provide you with the details on how to do that.
    Thanks!
