XML property aliasing

I have a problem: I receive a XML file in my transaction input
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><DATA>
<VALUE_1/>
<VALUE_2/>
</DATA>
and I want to rename the property DATA with the name TAGS.
After this step, I want to access to the tag using Transaction.Source{/TAGS/VALUE_1}
Does anybody know how to do this?
I tried to use "Column aliasing" and "XSL Transformation" but without results. Which is the best way to do this?

I tried it, but like before XSL transformation doesn't work. Maybe I do something wrong in XSL transformation settings.
I added XSL transformation.
I didn't configure the transformation URL (Configure object button)
In configure links, Incoming tab, I set Inpux XML file as "Transaction.Source" (Source is my xml input file)
In configure links, Incoming tab, I set InputXSL copying your xsl code.
I didn't set xml output file, so less error appears.
The system gave me a list of errors:
[ERROR]: STEP EXCEPTION () : Invalid Variable In Expression: xml
[ERROR]: STEP EXCEPTION (XSL_Transformation_0) : Invalid Variable In Expression: xml
[ERROR]: STEP EXCEPTION (Sequence_0) : Invalid Variable In Expression: xml
[ERROR]: STEP EXCEPTION (Sequence) : Invalid Variable In Expression: xml
[ERROR]: TRANSACTION EXECUTION TERMINATED
Do you know which is the right configuration for XSL transformation?
I know just this help page: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_xmii120/helpdata/en/45/cca60593696f74e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm
but it is very short.
Do you know other helpful webpages?
Thank you for your first answer.

    3 - insert replace(replace('http://Param.1','<ns0:DATA xmlns:ns0=\"http://xxx.com/test>\"','<TAGS>'),'</ns0:DATA>','</TAGS>')
    then I run it 3 times with the TestQueryTemplate function (one for every previous string) and everytime I get the same error:

    Does it have a property to override "oracle.webservices.auth.username" property or how could I use "oracle.webservices.auth.username" to get the variable value?
    I'm not sure if you understand my question, feel free to let me know.

  • BUG: XML Property Inspector

    When editing an XML file in the Property Inspector, if I change a value in a sub-element, the Property Inspector closes that subelement and other subelements in that same level. Here is a test case. The file:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
    <DomainSet>
    <Domain name="YN">
    <AllowableValue value="Y" meaning="Yes3"/>
    <AllowableValue value="N" meaning="No" />
    </Domain>
    </DomainSet>
    1. Click the Domain node in the Structure window.
    2. Expand the first AllowableValue node and change the meaning property.
    3. Click the name property and wait a second or two. The Allowable Value node will close.
    The same behavior occurs in 9.0.3 and 9.0.3.1; both windows LAF and Oracle LAF. It doesn't matter if the XML Editor is open or not.

    To clarify, steps 2 and 3 are in the Property Inspector.

The maximum length in the original file for the Attachment Text area is 4000 but I have changed it to 2000 in the latest file. How do I apply the changed. Also, is this the best way to modify it, or are there any other ways to change it?

    First, I'm assuming that you are storing the XML unparsed, as if cannot parse the element money due to the fact that it contains the currency attribute.
    Have you enabled the XmlSection Searching in intermedia text ?

  • How to configure CustomLoginModule in jps-config.xml

    Hi,
    How can we configure a Custom Login Module using jps-config.xml, as we do not want to use weblogic custom authentication provider as it needs application jars(which we require fo authenticating the user) to be kept in weblogic classpath.

    Ours is not a Desktop Application, but we want to handle Authentication(Which authenticates the userid and password by making a Tuxedo call) and add the Principal to Subject in session, so that ADF Authorization and securityContext can be used as is,
    but doing this with Custom Authentication Provider in weblogic needs me to have a lot of Tuxedo Service related jars in weblogic/system classpath which i feel is not right thing to do, as the same jars are required in application also, which means i will have the jars in class path twice and i need to deploy the jars to both places everytime there is any change.
    Is there any way by which i can set Authenticated principal to Subject in the created session from within Application?

  • Javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException

    Hi,
    I am deploying a bpel process and a bpel test to a remote oc4j, then running the tests via an ant build script.
    The tests are run fine and the results are created in an xml file, however the bpeltest task then try's to convert the xml to a junit report xml format and throws an exception when it can't find bpeltest-junit.xsl.
    The exception is vague and I don't know if its because it can't find the xls file our one of its dependancies.
    exception,

    the classloader seems to want to make callbacks to the BpelTest methods in order to generate the xml file for junit.
    any help on this would be greatly appreciated,

    I'm having almost the same issue so I was hoping the xalan jars solution would resolve it, but even with the jars copied to the directory and renamed as instructed, the error still occurs when the ant bpeltest task tries to transform the test results into junit format. The error message I'm getting is slightly different but issue seems to be the same. The error message I'm getting is:
    [bpeltest] ERROR: 'null'
    [bpeltest] FATAL ERROR: 'Could not compile stylesheet'
    [bpeltest] javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException: Could not compile stylesheet
    [bpeltest] at com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.trax.TransformerFactoryImpl.newTemplates(TransformerFactoryImpl.java:824)
    ...etc...
    BUILD FAILED
    C:\projects\jdev_user_home_10g\mywork\BPELTests\BPELTest1\build.xml:179: An error occurred while translating the test results to JUnit results.
    Could not compile stylesheet
    Please verify the XSL:
    bpeltest-junit.xsl
    The original XML results have been saved in... ...etc...
    Using filemon, I can see where the ant javaw.exe process is reading bpeltest-format.xsl but bpeltest-junit.xsl is never read from the file system (although it could be getting loaded via classloader from orabpel-ant.jar as previously mentioned.) Either way, it doesn't seem like bpeltest-junit.xsl is actually missing.
    The error message does not indicate what was null and the references passed to the TransformerFactory are controlled by the bpeltest ant task code so I don't know what's missing.
    Anyone have a clue what might be 'null'? Anyone know how to get it fixed? Anyone have a suggestion for a way to a dig up more context and figure out what's missing?

  • How to set UOO(bea_unitoforder) property within BPEL Adapter property

    Hi,
    In oracle documentation JMS message payload field values can be used as correlation properties.
    Correlation property aliases are used to define from which payload field the correlation property value is taken.
    I need to set the correlation property value from a JMS message header field instead of payload fields. (=JMS JCA Adapter properties).I have a UOO value set same for all messages.Now I need to set this WL property to JMS JCA Adapter property and then create one single instance for all messages in queue.
    Routing a New message to a (New or) Existing Instance:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28389_01/dev.1111/e10224/bp_correlate.htm#CHDDJEAI
    How is it possible in BPEL???

  • Correlation property of correlationSet "name" is not defined

    Hi.
    I have got strange problem with correlation property.
    I am using JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.5.0 with Oracle 11g Fusion middleware Version 11.1.1.5.0.
    I created BPEL process driven by EDA. All receive and pick activity are event driven.
    Everything works fine till I tried to make correlation.
    I use wizard to create CorrelationSet and correlation property, assign type and create property aliases.
    Now I get error correlation property "{http://xmlns.process.com/oxygenium/OrderAuthorization/OrderAuthorization/correlationset}webOrder_property" of correlationSet "webOrderCorrelationSet" is not defined.
    Error message points to line with <correlationSets><correlationSet name="webOrderCorrelationSet" properties="ns7:webOrder_property"/></correlationSets>
    xmlns:ns7="http://xmlns.process.com/oxygenium/OrderAuthorization/OrderAuthorization/correlationset"
    I can't understand what is wrong. Wizard show all dependencies OK.
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Problem still remains.
    The only way to solve I found is add SOAP webservice interface with partnerlink. After that compiler didn't find any error but what horrible workaround it is...
    I think there is bug in compiler which doesn't allow create correlation set without partnerlink :(
    Please give me a hope that there is a normal solution.
    Thank you

  • How to read values from Property file into BPEL process local variable?

    I would like to use a Property file with some parameters e.g.
    <myparm1>12345</myparm1>
    How can I read from a BPEL process such a Property file and assign it into e.g. local variable "intparm1"?
    Where (in which directory) should I put this XML Property file to have it always available for reading?
    Peter

    Hi,
    You can also use
    ora:readFile( ) function as follow :
    ora:readFile(xml file location (ex. "file:///D:\\SOA\\FileAdapters\\readFile\\test\\test.xml"),xsd file location (ex."file:///D:\\SOA\\FileAdapters\\readFile\\test\\test.xsd"))
    inside the assign activity and assign this to the variable you want.

  • Xml in midp

    Hi All
    Probably a daft question but hopefully not .
    I have an xml file located with in a package and am trying to parse it. code...
    try{
    ByteArrayInputStream in = new ByteArrayInputStream(xml.getBytes());
    // obtain a SAX parser
    SAXParserFactory factory = SAXParserFactory.newInstance();
    SAXParser parser;
    parser = factory.newSAXParser();
    try {
    parser.parse(in, new DefaultHandler() {
    but gets parseexception error on last line ( parser.parse(in, ). I suspect that the program cant find the file. Does anyone know a way of getting to an xml file from a package??

    Hello.
    What is the xml property?
    If the XML is in your .jar file, why not to use Class.getResourceAsStream method to open direc stream?
    Anyway in case of mising file I'd say you probably get different error.
    There might be simply an error in the XML... the parser expectes well formated XML. It doesn't parse wrong file. You can check the XML validity on some free internet web page tools.
