Xml scenario

hi all,
i am doing XML to XML scenario,
i have a XML file downloaded from BW system and its size is  7 MB.
i have created XSD from stylus studio using same xml file and i imported xsd in PI
as source and receiver both. i did one to one mapping. but when same xml file i am giving as input
then its giving error
"  <SAP:P2>com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.IllegalInstanceExcepti</SAP:P2>
  <SAP:P3>on: Cannot create target element /XMI/XMI.content/</SAP:P3>
  <SAP:P4>XMISAPBI.com.sap.bw.cwm.olap.InfoCube. Values mis~</SAP:P4>
  <SAP:AdditionalText />
  <SAP:Stack>Runtime exception occurred during application mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_BI_; com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.IllegalInstanceException: Cannot create target element /XMI/XMI.content/XMISAPBI.com.sap.bw.cwm.olap.InfoCube. Values mis~</SAP:Stack>
  <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry> "
i tried to put xml content in message mapping to test it but it getting hanged as file is very big.
after then i i mapped it by using "mapping with default" then also its giving error
please help me
thanks and regards

This is the mapping: MM_BI_ (not the full name...starting few letters)
And this is the node that your mapping logic is not able to produce: XMI/XMI.content....
Now check what logic you need to apply here so that you get this element at the target.

Abhishek.

  • Problem in file content conversion, file 2 xml scenario

    Hi,
    Could some one help me in finding out the error in my file to xml scenario, please do consider the following things what I did for this scenario.
    1.My sender file structure is flat file with , seperated 4 fields. On receiver end expecting xml file.
    2.Did file content conversion at sender file adapter and given parameters as follows.
         Document name             : MT_FileInput
         DocumentnameSpace     : http://file/praveenworkshop
         Recordset Name             : DT_Record
         Recordset Structure        : DT_Row,*
         KeyfieldType                   : String( default)
        DT_Row.fieldnames          : FirstName,LastName,City,PostCode
        DT_Row.fieldSeparator      : ,
        DT_Row.processConfiguration: FromConfiguration
        Dt_Row.endSeparator       : 'nl'
    3. I did check in Adapter Monitor that Both Sender and receiver adapter are showing green and It was showing  'Adapter is up and running: But no messages processed'
    4. I did check the SXMB_MONI which was showing " Scheduled for Outbound processing"
    5. In SXMB_MONI outbound processing payload was picking up the file and also inbound processing showing the same.
    6. my source folder and destination folder are very simple c:/praveenfiles/input and c:/praveenfiles/output
        files are source file praveen.txt and destination file praveenOP.xml
    Please help me in finding out the error to see the output file in my output folder.

  • IDOC-XI-XML Scenario Questions

    Hi everyone,
    I am actually trying to configure a scenario starting from SAP and finishing creating a XML file.
    R/3 IDOC -> XI -> XML file
    The XI is receiving IDOCs from SAP correctly, but when it try to send to third party system, the monitor engine (SXMB_MONI) are showing the following error: HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK.
    I am currently using the File Adapter, please take a look at the config for the communication channel:
    Adapter Type: File
    http://sap.com/xi/XI/System
    SAP BASIS 6.4
    Transport Protocol: File Protocol(FTP)
    Message Protocol: File
    Adapter Engine: Integration Server
    Target Directory: /  (root)
    File Name Scheme: mptest_xi_output.dat
    File Construction: Create
    Overwrite File: X
    File type: Binary
    Adapter Status: Active
    Regards,
    Gabriel Santana

    If you have enough authorization, then click on the last button which is change button.
    Otherwise, open two windows of SAP and try to do the above step and when you get the authorization error, go to the second window and enter transaction /nSU53. Send that info to your security team.
    Once you have authorization you should be fine.
    One other thing, in which client you are doing this ?
    Do not use DDIC user to change it.

  • Can we use MessageTransformBean in between XML -- XML scenario !!

    Hi Claver Heads,
    Small thing in XML to XML transformation. Can we use MessageTransformBean? The reason why I am asking, In my scenario, XML to ABAP proxy, messages are splitting (1:n) everything is working fine. But in splitting messages, first Messages is getting all nodes etc., from split second message on words, Couple of nodes are missing(not coming at all)?
    Any solutions for this please?
    Thanks
    Regards
    San

    Hi hetal,
    Yeah you are 100% correct. This must be context issue. But I don't know how to fix this. The target message is quite big hierarchy, like ProductActivityNotification>ProductActivity>Item>SalesTimeSeries>Item>ValidPeriod>Startdate etc.,
    Source XML is getting DTM segment, which is in Header -- comes one time, more than 100 line items to this message. This 100 line items has to go with this date into Startdate etc.,
    At present I am getting only one time this into Startdate. Please any clue in this!!
    Many Thanks in advance
    Kind Regards
    San

  • Mapping Problem in IDOC to XML scenario

    hi,
    In the target i have a tag which says:
    Extrinsic 0..unbounded
    name     required
    I have to map the above target to a source which comes from different IDOC segments.
    E.g.
    if E1EDP17.Qualf = '002' then map the E1EDP17.lktext to the "name"
    if E1EDP17.Qualf = '001' then map the E1EDP17.lktext to the Extrinisc.
    If data resides in other segments, how would i map those segments to the same output in xml.
    Example:
    <Extrinsic name="a">test</Extrinsic> -> this comes from E1EDP17 segment
    <Extrinsic name="a">test</Extrinsic> -> comes from segment A
    <Extrinsic name="a">test</Extrinsic> -> comes from segment B
    How can i use a single Target to map from different sources if they are in different segments?
    Any tips?
    Thanks,
    KP

    Tirumal,
    U will have to use comination of node functions like <b>exists</b> and <b>mapWithDefault</b>.
    Are you sure that, E1EDP17.Qualf will have the value '002' or '001'.
    There are some very good blogs on mapping by Sravya. Go through them and also go through the following link.

  • IDOC to XML SOAP Scenario

    Hi All,
    I want to implement IDOC to XML SOAP scenario for 3 different IDOC types.
    Should i implement it under same namespace or use different namespace for each IDOC to XML scenario.
    Thanks,
    Vishal

    Hi,
    depends on your requirement and your XML SOAP receiver
    there are no general rules

  • JDBC to File Scenario

    Hey Experts,
    I have a scenario from JDBC to File (xml) scenario.
    The problem is that the data is being picked up from the data base and is sent through the sender JDBC channel to the receiver file adapter channel where the file content conversion is done. But when I check the output text file, it is empty. When I go to SXMB_MONI to check if there is any error, every thing is fine with a checkered flag on the message. My sender and the receiver data types are the same.
    Here is the scenario:
    DT_sender and DT_receiver ---> row
                                                          NAME
                                                          ID
                                                          GRADE
    payload from the sender channel is:
    <MT_DB2FILE_SENDER>
    < row>
    <NAME>CNCN</NAME>
    <ID>222</ID>
    <GRADE>A</GRADE>
    </MT_DB2FILE_SENDER>
    When the content conversion is done with the parameters :
    Recordset structure : row,1
    row.fieldNames : NAME,ID,GRADE
    row.fieldSeparator : \t
    row.endSeparator: 'nl'
    The text file that is generated is empty. I have tried out all the posts that are related to this topic. But I could not find the suitable answer. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards.

    Hey
    I m a little confused here
    In your earlier reply,you posted
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <ns0:MT_DB2FILE_RECEIVER xmlns:ns0="http://jdbc2jdbc" />
    and now you are posting this
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
    - <MT_DB2FILE_SENDER>
    - <row>
    <NAME>CHAD</NAME>
    <ID>204</ID>
    <GRADE>A</GRADE>
    </row>
    - <row>
    <NAME>TYLER</NAME>
    <ID>204</ID>
    <GRADE>A</GRADE>
    </row>
    - <row>
    <NAME>AMER</NAME>
    <ID>204</ID>
    <GRADE>A</GRADE>
    </row>
    - <row>
    <NAME>BASHIR</NAME>
    <ID>204</ID>
    <GRADE>A</GRADE>
    </row>
    - <row>
    <NAME>WENBIN</NAME>
    <ID>206</ID>
    <GRADE>A</GRADE>
    </row>
    - <row>
    <NAME>lilian</NAME>
    <ID>139</ID>
    <GRADE>A</GRADE>
    </row>
    </MT_DB2FILE_SENDER>
    The above looks like a sender structure to me.
    Could you please confirm this is exactly the payload you are getting in sxmb_moni under Technical routing .
    Thanks
    Aamir

  • Sending xml files via AS2 adapter

    Hi Experts,
    I have an interface which requires an IDOC to XML scenario.
    This is a simple pick and drop scenario with no mapping required.
    We just have to send the IDOC to the 3rd party via AS2 receiver in XML format.
    Currently, the 3rd party receiver receives the file in binary format with no extensions (i.e. 9876543210123)
    Although when opened via notepad, the content is in xml format
    Is it possible to have the file sent as a .xml file (i.e. PO IDOC.xml)?
    Please see current configuration below:
    Currently, 3rd party is still receiving the file with no filename extensions.
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Luis,
    Thanks for your reply.
    However, I am a bit confused because the thread mentions that the module configuration is for the file and JMS adapters. Also, the scenario is an AS2 to FTP interface
    I want to do the filename change in the AS2 receiver channel of a IDOC to AS2 scenario.
    Where exactly do I define the filename that I want to output such as "test.xml" instead of the default filename with 13 numerals?
    Thanks,
    Mike

  • Text to Xml-Header Line

    Hi
    In text to xml scenario...how to eliminate the headers in text file
    Text file data is like
    H1-header line1
    H2-header line 2
    E100 Rahul - Data
    E101 Siva - Data.
    I need only data in xml file..what setting i have to make in file content conversion parameters in sender side..In blogs it is given for text to xml..In those i am not getting regarding header line removal from text file (sender)
    Give some suggestion to get this scenario
    Regards
    Prakash

    Hi Prakash,
    Create the Data type with all fields (Headr & Item) but while mapping do not map the header filds to target. But in your Content Conversion Define every thing (Header & Item filed lengths etc.) so this way your file will be ficked up by adapter and while mapping only Item values will be mapped and you will get only item data in your XML file.
    Below is the example when you have HEADER & ITEM structure.
    FCC is case sensitive, give all the names in FCC same as your Data Type.
    In Recordset Structure = Header,1,Item,*
    Header.fieldFixedLengths = (field lengths) e.g. 1, 4, 7
    Header.fixedLengthTooShortHandling=ignore
    Header.endSeperator='nl'
    Item.fieldFixedLengths = give the item field length as shown above
    Item.endSeparator = 'nl'
    Item.lastFieldsOptional = YES

    Sarvesh
