XML Template not able to Run from Oracle EBS 11.5.10

We are into an assignment where we are developing some report in HR Self Service. The data model is build up in View Object which generates the XML Tag in execution. Now we have taken that XML tag and designed the final format in BI Publishers version 'Oracle BI Publisher Template Builder for Word 10.1.3.2.0 - Build 87'. While desigining we have used one group function where it basically sums for one record group. After desiging when we preview the data in PDF it is appearing perfectly.
Now , when we are trying to deploy it in Oracle APPS 11.5.10 it is showing the below error:
*'XSL-1015: (Error) Function 'current-group' not found.'*
Here are the version specific inforamtion about the XMl Publsiher in Apps 11.5.10
PDF Producer: Oracle XML Publsiher 5.6.3
When I run the below query in Database to find out the ver. of XML Publisher:

Please help what could be the issue. Do I need to install XMl Publisher 5.6.3 in my local dektop and re-design the template or the issue ios somewhere else. However, If I remove that group function it is displaying other data perfectly even from Apps 11.5.10.

I believe you will need to use the version of XMLP Desktop delivered via patch 5887917 (since your XMLP version in the database is 5.6.3). I am not sure where you got version 10.1.x from - and I am not sure if this version of XMLP Desktop can be used to design templates for 5.6.3 version. If you are using the right version of XMLP Developer and are unable to resolve the error, pl open an SR with Support so they can help you further.

Hi, I have installed oracle EBS version 12.1.1 (32 bit) on OEL ver 6.3 (32 bit). I have installed Linux on Oracle VM virtualbox ver 4.1.16.
I am having host OS as Windows 7 home on my laptop.
While setting up the Network in Oracle VM virtualbox, I have set "attached to" as 'Host Only Adapter'.
I am able to connect to oracle EBS from the client server(linux) using Firefox browser. Both the services(database, Application) are starting & stopping without any problem.
I have entered following setting in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file.
192.168.56.101 linux.server
IP address of Linux OS is 192.168.56.101
Please help in resolving the issue.

I am getting error as "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" on IE ver 9, when accessing from host machine. On Firefox (ver 12), the error is coming as "The connection has timed out. The server at linux.server is taking too long to respond."
The firewall on the server has been disabled already.
I am not able to ping the server IP address or hostname.domainname from client. Following error comes while pinging -

Your error message are not displaying because u does not made Message-Resoucrce property file (Resource Bundle) when you make it .
give it entry in
struts-config.xml
<message-resources parameter="ApplicationResources" />
and
define key and corresponding error message to key in this ApplicationResources i.e

FCP doesn't like mpeg2 transport streams. You might give ClipWrap a chance to do the conversion. They have a free trial. If it works, the full version is something like $50.

I am using Bipublisher version 10.1.3.4. i am not able to run the Report. I am calling this report using

OIM 11G-prepop adapters not able to read from User form

When I try to auto provision ldap account for users after creation of OIM record using GTC, the ldap provisioning doesnt happen. Basically the prepop adapters not able to read from Xel user form. I am stuck with this issue for a while now .
I tried remapping..ect etc..ntng helped.
None of the process form fields are getting prepopulated, when I hard coded avlue in prepop adapters for all the reqd fields in process form, proviosioning gets completed successfully.
Pls. help me with this.

For manual Proviosioning - It works fine.
It fails when I create user in OIM using flat file GTC . I have an access policy to auto proviosion that user with ldap.
As mentioned before, I notice none of the prepops on Ldap process form are able to read value from Xel user form.
Steps I tried Already:
1- Checking access policy
2-remapping process form adapters

Not able to run forms in WEB

Hi
I have installed OAS 4.0 and Developer 6.0 and configured OAS
for deploying forms in WEB. Configuration went fine and services
started. I have generated the HTML file for cartridge type
implementation. When I invoke from the browser it starts the
applet and after that gives an error
"FRM-99999: A network error occurred, the client will not be able
to continue".
and stop executing. I have started the form server also.
I'm using JInitiator version 1.1.5.3
Can anybody help me to overcome this.

Livecache database instance is not able to connect from DBMGUI

We are facing very critical problem. Livecache database instance is not able to connect from DBMGUI .
DB instace is down currently, i checked X_server is running. when i am trying to conect using DBMGUi its going on hang status, same way if i am trying to start using LC10, its going on hang..
Could anybody please help me out if faced this problem.
Earlier it was working fine. But now It 's not able to connect through DBM tool.
Any help would of great help..

Am not able to run the java program - pls help

1. I installed java in the below path
     c:\program files\java\jdk1.5.0
     c:\program files\java\jre1.5.0
I set the path in
     User variable i. variable name: path
          ii. variable value: c:\program files\java\jdk1.5.0\bin
when I compile it in command prompt-applying javac ? it performed successfully-shows
options like ?g create all debug info, -g : new Generate no debug info etc.,
But am not able to run the file. It shows error msg.

Is the java class you compiled/calling in the default package? If it is not, you will have to call it by the fully qualified name.
e.g.
package com.mycompany.myproject;
public class MyClass {
    public static void main(String[] args) { }
}This would be called as "Java com.mycompany.myproject.MyClass" and must contain a main method with signature as above.
You would have to call this from folder where the compiled classes are located. If using package, you would call from directory at level of top most package so com folder in this example as Java will look at each package name in qualified name and try to traverse directories with those same names to get to .class file matching class name specified. To avoid this, your newly compiled .class files must also be in your classpath.

A .exe file is a Windows executable. OS X does not run Windows programs. If you need to use .exe files then you will need to install Windows on your Mac:
