  • Why do the maps app bookmarks are erased every time I switch to another app?

    I am encountering several problems with the new maps application which are not related to the mapping data itself.
    My problems are:
    Every bookmark I keep dissapears after a while (mostly after I switch to another app, but sometimes it takes a little more switching before the bookmark is gone).
    I cannot access bookmarks when I try to set a route. There is no option to choose a starting/end point from a contact address or bookmark.
    Am I doing something wrong? I could not find any reference in other forums describing this problem and would appreciate any help.
    P.S.
    The first problem I describe was present also for the old maps application on iPhone 4S and iPhone 3.

    Thanks for explaining how app's loss of state can happen. However, I'm sure that the behavior of the four apps I mentioned is much worse than just a few months ago. Something must have changed, and iOS 7 is the main difference. The Kindle app behaves as it used to, but the others do not. Maybe I should note the problem in reviews of the apps themselves in the App Store -- and down rate the apps.

  • The workbook report no authorization, but related query can show part data

    Dear All,
    We meet an error, The workbook report no authorization, but related query can show part data.
    We have a workbook, it have 1 queries, and when we key in condition to run it, in one field we put on one more condition(Z3XXX = ' WZO'  & ' WZA")(User didn't have authorization for this condition),  and workbook report no authorization.
    Then we checked  authorization check log and it show "You do not have sufficient authorization on Z3XXX = ' WCO'.
    But when we execute the related query with same condition. the query can open and show WZA's data.
    I'd like to know the reason.
    thanks & Best Regards,

  • One-to-many mapping and update the many part

    Hello !
    Here's my problem,
    I've got an object A having a vector of object B.
    The mapping in toplink is one-to-many with the back-references set in B.
    Insertion : no problem.
    Now i would like to change the Vector of B (inserting new B, updating existing B) in a function with the Vector vC (modified vector of B).
    What is the best way to do this ?
    I tried many thing but either I have toplink 6004 error, or doing it by removing all elements of the Vector (deleting all B in database), and then setting A with C (recreating all object in the modified Vector).
    Another way to explain my case:
    how to do this in UnitOfWork ?
    function modifyAVectorOfB(A, vectorOfC)
    AClone = uow.registerObject(A);
    Aclone.setVectorOfB(vectorOfC);
    uow.commit;
    (and in database all existing object in C are updated, new object in C are created, removed object in C are deleted)

    Have found a solution, read all object in the modified Vector, read the modified object in the Unit Of Work with readObject(B) (So i get the database or cache version) and then comparing it with the modified to change what is needed to be change.

  • Questions related to the localstorage=false client restarted and join back

    Hi, We are using the coherence 3.4.2 version. I notified a strange problem in our application, related to the coherence. I am posting here seeking for help. We are using JDK 1.6.0_16 on Linux 64 OS.
    To simplify the problems, let me just say that we have 3 JVM running as now. One is we called the data server, starting with following JVM settings:
    java -Xms1G -Xmx1G -server -Dlog4j.configuration=log4j.xml
    -Dtangosol.coherence.cacheconfig=/xxx/coherence_config.xml
    -Dtangosol.coherence.ttl=0
    -Dtangosol.coherence.log=log4j
    -Dtangosol.coherence.clusterport=5511
    -Dtangosol.coherence.distributed.localstorage=true The other 2 JVMs will use the same JVM settings as above, except -Dtangosol.coherence.distributed.localstorage=false.
    When I started the all servers in this order: data server -> one client jvm -> the other client jvm, I can see they all join into one cluster, and our application works fine.
    Now, if I shutdown client1 and client2, and restarted them, the problems comes:
    1) From the coherence log, I can see the client1 and client2 joined back in the cluster.
    2) But when client1 is trying to get cache using the following api:
    NamedCache cache = CacheFactory.getCache("cacheName");
    Object o = (Object)cache.get(id);The cache object is there, but without any elements in it. So Object o will always to Null. But I know in this case, there is one element in the case, which I just put in before restarted client 1 and 2.
    So in this case, I can get a cache object back, but without any element into it. This is not the case before the JVM restarted.
    3) In the above case, the cache is defined as a replicated cache as following:
              <cache-mapping>
                   <cache-name>cacheName</cache-name>
                   <scheme-name>ReplicatedScheme</scheme-name>
              </cache-mapping>
              <replicated-scheme>
                   <scheme-name>ReplicatedScheme</scheme-name>
                   <backing-map-scheme>
                        <local-scheme>
                             <scheme-ref>unlimited-backing-map</scheme-ref>
                        </local-scheme>
                   </backing-map-scheme>
              </replicated-scheme>
              <!-- Backing map scheme definition used by all the caches that do not require any eviction policies -->
              <local-scheme>
                   <scheme-name>unlimited-backing-map</scheme-name>
              </local-scheme>4) I tried to use the SimpleCacheExplorer example coming with the coherence to see if I can reproduce this case. But I can not. I use the same coherence.xml as our application. I used the same cache name in the SimpleCacheExplorer as in our application. I started 3 JVMs, one with localstorage=true, the other 2 with localstorage=false. Everytime, I restarted the other 2 JVMs, it can join back the cluster and get the value for the original key. So I am not sure which part in our application breaks this.
    5) I list the coherence log below from our application. I added 2-3 lines comments just to list what happened then.
    Any idea or hints about why this is happenning? Thanks for your help.

    Here is the log:

  • Information on mapping  and how to configure the mapping?

    Hi All
            Experts!!!  i am new XI and any one can provide the information mapping ?
            Like purpose of mapping? how to configure ? what are different mappings?
            In detail pls...
    Adv..thanks
    Cheers
    Rakesh

    Hi Rakesh,
    Mapping means the conversion from a source message (structure) to a target message (structure).
    In this operation you define how fields of the target message are filled using fields of the source message.
    You can choose between:
    - graphical message mapping
    - XSLT Mapping
    - Java Mapping
    - ABAP Mapping
    Tipically it is preferible to use graphical message mapping because it is easier to develope and mantain. In some cases due to special requirements (high volume of messages or big size of messages) you could prefer to use other type of mapping, have a look at this blog to have an idea:<a href="/people/udo.martens/blog/2006/08/23/comparing-performance-of-mapping-programs">Comparing Performance of Mapping Programs</a>
    Graphical message mapping:
    <a href="/people/yukai.shi/blog/2006/06/02/b2b-mapping-techniques-using-the-graphical-mapping-tool Mapping Techniques Using the Graphical Mapping Tool</a>
    Java Mapping:
    <a href="/people/prasad.ulagappan2/blog/2005/06/29/java-mapping-part-i Mapping (Part I)</a>
    <a href="/people/prasad.ulagappan2/blog/2005/06/29/java-mapping-part-ii Mapping (Part II)</a>
    <a href="/people/prasad.ulagappan2/blog/2005/06/29/java-mapping-part-iii Mapping (Part III)</a>
    XSLT Mapping:
    <a href="/people/pooja.pandey/blog/2005/06/27/xslt-mapping-with-java-enhancement-for-beginners Mapping With JAVA Enhancement ( For Beginners)</a>
    ABAP Mapping:
    <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e3ead790-0201-0010-64bb-9e4d67a466b4">How to Use ABAP Mapping in XI 3.0</a>
    Additionally,
    have a look at this blog <a href="/people/morten.wittrock/blog/2006/03/23/getting-started-with-xi-part-1-xi-30-cheat-sheet started with XI, part 1: XI 3.0 cheat sheet</a>, it could be useful to start with XI.
    Hope it helps,
    kind Regards,
    Sergio

  • Error in displaying the label_column on the map

    hello everyone,
    i am developing a travelling salesman problem project for my graduation project in my university. i want to see the street names on the result map in my application. the related code part of my program as below:
    String [] thmStr = new String[2];
    thmStr[0] = "tspTheme";
    String dtsrc = "spatial10g";
    String baseMap = "us_city_map";
    String mapTitle = "Courier Guidance Map";
    mv.setDataSourceName(dtsrc); // set datasource name
    mv.setBaseMapName(baseMap); // set basemap
    mv.setBoundingThemes(thmStr, 0.15, true);
    mv.setImageFormat(MapViewer.FORMAT_PNG_URL); //set image format
    mv.setMapRequestSRID(8307); //set the SRID of the map request
    mv.setMapTitle(mapTitle);
    mv.addJDBCTheme(
    mv.getDataSourceName(),
    thmStr[0],
    sql,
    "geometry",
    "8307",
    "L.TSPROUTE",
    "link_name",
    "T.STREET NAME",
    false);
    the code works correctly, i see the result route labeled by L.TSPROUTE, i do not see any error messages but there is not displayed the "street names" on the result route.
    i am not able to find any reason causing this problem. i have a time problem and any help will be appreciated.
    Regards
    Huseyin

    Hi Huseyin,
    verify if you have defined the column name "link_name" on your "sql" parameter. It should be something like:
    select geometry, link_name from your_table

    From the above error, it states like table doesn't exist. Hence after checking that the source table connections that i used in the mapping seems to be wrong.
    so what i did is, in the control center i right clicked the source module where i have used source table and changed the connection but soon after i pressed the ok button as a part of registering i got the below error like
    >> RTC-5318 Invalid Location Type pair for Name oracle db and version 11.1
    I ignored the above error and continued to deploy the mapping, but as a result of mapping i got the below error like

    Hi Vidyanand,
    Did you create the runtime access user using the runtime assistant? Did you select the correct runtime repository (if you have more) to associate your runtime access user with?
    Note that there are 4 database roles being created when you create a runtime repository owner:
    - OWB_A_<runtime repository owner>
    - OWB_D_<runtime repository owner>
    - OWB_R_<runtime repository owner>
    - OWB_U_<runtime repository owner>
    If you would grant those roles to a user, then that user becomes an access user for the user with username <runtime repository owner>.
    Note that you can also use the runtime repository credentials to connect to the runtime repository for deployment purposes, but you may not want that because of security concerns.
    Thanks,
    Mark.

  • The detail part of table doesn't refresh after deleting a row

    Hello!
    I'm developing a Master-Detail table with some a functionality. Particularly, I want to invoke a DELETE function in the Detail part of the table.
    For this purpose, I placed a Command button to the tableSelectOne component of the Detail part of the table, which stores current row key and calls another page. On this (<another>) page I created a ReadOnly form with data related to the row of Detail table, which key is stored. In addition, I added there two Command buttons. First of them is a CancelButton, which does nothing except returning to master-detail page. The second is a DeleteButton, which executes a RemoveEntity method and returns to master-detail page, too.
    When I'm tried to delete in this way a row from detail part of table, I discovered, that this row is really deleted from the database, but it doesn't affect on the content of the Detail part of the table. Any kinds of refreshing couldn't aid me, only restart of the application.
    Could anybody help me to solve this problem?
    Thank in advance.

    Hi,
    I'm facing the same problem but Frank's solution doesn't fix it.
    you need to define an invoke action in the binding
    for your m/d page and set it into the page binding's
    execute section. Then set the condition for invoking
    the action to !postback. This will re-execute the
    iteratorThis efectively re-executes the iterator, so the master table data is refreshed. You can see the TopLink log showing the query to the db (I'm using TopLink instead of BC). The problem is that the detail rows are queried only once and only the inserts and updates are displayed, not the deletes.
    I think the problem may be related to PPR or some cache issue.
    See the BC tutorial
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/ADFBC_tutorial_10
    13/ADFBC_tutorial.pdf
    See page 86 "Adding the ServiceHistories Data". This
    defines a invoke action for this kinf of task. More
    example code is contained in the SRDemo sampleThe tutorial doesn't contain a scenario with master-detail deleting detail records (neither the BC tutorial, nor the TopLink one) so it can't help me :(
    The only solution I can think of is using a different model method (a method in the SessionFacade for TopLink) for the detail table (one that takes the master PK as parameter and retrieves the corresponding detail records) and have a selectionListener in the selection component of the master re-execute the method (passing the PK from the master table current row).
    Is there a solution that doesn't require the use of a separate method for the detail?
    Thanks,
    Miguel

  • Maintaining the mapping information and writing update routine to populate

    Hi,
    Its my requriment to get the transactional data from r/3, here in the transaction data i will get the data in following format
    (for example)
    Material no.   Sales value    quantity ..
    M001              100           2
    M002              200           4
    M003              150           3
    now my requirement is to take the quantity per material number and multiply it with a factor called as SBU factor
    .. my problem is that this SBU factor is not maintained in r/3 means the mapping information of material no. with its relative SBU factor is not maintained. So i thought of two option as this mapping is fixed means it will not changed so we can maintain in bw system through 1) one time upload of flat file or
    2) maintaning a table in BW with mapping
    so users agreed to give the mapping information as follows
    Material no.    SBU factor
    M001              5
    M002              10
    M003              7
    now while uplading the transational data i need to take the SBU factor per material that is maintained through flat file or table and multiply it with quantity and store it quantity.
    for example(the result i need in cube)
    material no.   sales value    quantity(quantity * SBU)
    M001             100           2*5=10
    M002             200           4*10=40
    M003             150           3*7=21
    so i can do this at two level at transfer rules or update rules.
    I need following clarification
    1) shall i load the mapping information through flat file or maintain it in table?
    2) If i will do the transformation at update rules so wht routine (start or update) should i write to get the SBU factor per material and do transformations
    If possible send the sample routine.
    Pls reply ASAP.
    Thanks
    Saleem.

    Hi Saleem,
    Nimesh is right..Do the multiplication in the Update rules.
    If the data for this SBU factor is less and is always fixed, you can go for one time upload, else set up a RFC Call to load this data to BW from R/3 if no datasource for the same exist.
    Else you can also maintain a table in BW, in which one time upload could be done by writing an ABAP, or manually. And then you can provide authorizsation to add more values to it, so that the table can be maintained.
    And then in Update rules, use the table for look up and get the SBU Factor per material.
    Some thing like
    Select * from the <ODS table or Table name> into <internal table>
    Loop at Data_Package.
    Read table <internal table> for all values in Data_Package where internal table-Material = Data_package-MAterial.
    If sy-subrc = 0.
    Sales Value = Sales Value * internal table-SBU Factor.
    ENDIF.
    MODIFY DATA_PACKAGE.
    ENDLOOP.
    You might need to make more changes to this code as required.
    Assign points if useful
    Regards
    Rohit

  • Issue in Color Theme on the map with ADF geographic components

    I am facing an issue in bringing up a map using color theme .I can able to bring up a map with color themes using geographic components feature in ADF.
    The problem here is 'Edit Color Map Theme' dialog which lists Map Theme in five categories like continents,counties,countries,states_abbrev,states_names.
    we had implemented map using Color Theme based on the states_abbrev and found it was working properly.
    But after some days we found that the settings we made to work for the map no longer works and resulted in no color theme on the map being displayed on the page.
    It was found that the states_names works properly instead of states_abbrev by that time.
    But again after some days it didnt work with state_names and we revert back our code to follow state_abbrev so as to get the desired result.
    Does somebody know where is the problem and how to approach this issue?

    Quick Install is gone.
    Database repair doesn't work.
    Color coded categories is gone, and as you've discovered Theme colors are gone.
    Print to Excel is gone.
    Many desktop clients that worked with 4.2 do not work.
    It won't work with legacy devces.
    and others.... There are lots of complaints about 6.2 scattered around the forums.  Personally, the HotSync manager keeps forgetting the connections I've set, and goes to default views.
    You aren't missing much of anything, IMHO.

  • How do I search and work in the map module without losing my selection

    I'm going through my old photographs that predate geotracking and adding my best guess as to their locations via the  map module but I'm getting frustrated.
    My biggest angst is the selections.  In the library module, I look around and find a set of photographs that were taken at the same place and I select them.  I then go to the map module and move found, sometimes search, for the place where the photographs were taken.  Now, I go back to drop the selection into the map and ... OH NO!!! .. there is no selection.  Double angst is I click back in Library and I'm scrolled all the way to the start of my group of photographs.
    Deselecting the photos is the biggest UI mistake that Lightroom is making in this sequence.  I'm wondering if there is something that I can do to either prevent it or perhaps have a second method of a quick temporary group of photographs.
    The other related question I have is if anyone has a suggestion of how to mark these photos as the type of GPS information.  e.g. it could come from the camera, it could come via a track log, or it could be just my best guess.  Perhaps that is already possible to determine.

    When you find the photos you want that were taken in a single location, select them and put them in a Quick Collection (press B)
    Then select the Quick Collection and go to the Map Module with the filmstrip turned on. You will then be able to work ONLY with this set of photos that are taken in one location

  • I bought an iPhone 5s in China and the maps app is different.  When I go to the US will I be able to use Apple's native app or will I be stuck with this one?

    So I wanted to ask a question that my googlefoo couldn't help me solve.
    I bought an iphone at a reputable electronics market here in China and it is an AT&T model phone.  I bought it at one of the grey market locations because they were sold out elsewhere.  I contacted a friend at AT&T to make sure it is a legit AT&T model.  The phone is great and everything works perfectly including maps.  But maps are done by Autonavi here in China, not Apple.  I downloaded the Mavericks update on my mac and tried some of the new maps features and they wouldn't work with my phone.  That's okay since I live in China now but I'll be going back to the USA soon and I wonder what will happen.  Will it update the app to Apple's native one or stay with Autonavi.  Autonatvi does not have the flyover features and it is not robust in the USA.
    Who can help me out here?  Has anyone purchased a 5, 5c, or 5s in China and gone elsewhere?  Did the maps app change?
    Thank you
    tl;dr my china iphone has autonavi for maps not apple, when I go to the usa will I get the native app?

    I live in China as well and my iPhone5s is the model A1530 I bougth outside China. I have the same problem as Nikatnight with the iPhone while the iPad Air (wifi only) is working like a charm. It must be definitely something related to the carrier since I was abroad few days ago and everything worked well.
    If you pay attention at the source of your maps, you'll discover they are provided by AutoNavi instead of TomTom and make them appear in chinese with their own border interpretation. Queries are only acceppted in Chinese (p.e. if I type in english "Los Angeles International Airport"  it replies it cannot locate it)
    I suppose everything will be fine when you'll be out of censorship....
    Perhaps iOS  Apple Maps are absolutely useless for expatriate in China.
    Use Google Maps instead
    BTW, I'm surprised how much Apple might prostrate towards hard power Governments.... No matter what, money are always on top!

  • Need Help In The Mapping!!

    Hi,
    The scenario is,
    The Characteristic Name is a 0-unbounded field,
    If the Characteristic Name endsWith u201CSTATEu201D,
    Then,
    We have to check the Characteristic Value, if it is u201CFreshu201D, u201CFrozenu201D or u201CDryu201D,
    Accordingly we have to return value( map to stateIndicator ).
    If I am using Graphical Mapping, it is getting partially solved.
    Problem:
    If the case is,
    Characteristic Name occurs only once and it is ending with STATE or it is not ending with STATE, the mapping works fine.
    But,
    If it occurs more than 1, and if the 1st Characteristic Name is not ending with u201CSTATEu201D then, it is not checking the Characteristic Name which follows, and directly returns an empty value.
    If I am using the following UDF instead graphically checking th "STATE" part,
    int flag=0;
    while(var1.indexOf("STATE")!=-1)
            if(var1.endsWith("STATE"))
                    flag=1;
    if (flag==1)
        return true;
    //Since the default return value of the UDF is String in PI, I am getting ERROR "Type Imcompatibility Required String, Getting Boolean"
    Please reply with what change can I make to the UDF or a solution which I can use instead.
    Thanks and Regards,
    NehaSingh

    >>//Since the default return value of the UDF is String in PI, I am getting ERROR "Type Imcompatibility Required String, Getting Boolean"
    One solution for the above error ...You are returning boolean here. You can return string as below
    int flag=0;
    while(var1.indexOf("STATE")!=-1)
            if(var1.endsWith("STATE"))
                    flag=1;
    if (flag==1)
        return "TRUE";
    }else{
       return "FALSE";
    In mapping..
    check equals function at the output of target and see it has "TRUE" , if true then do what you want...
