XVM-01003 error

Hi All,
I googled and found MichaelS solution on search string
select table_name,
column_name,
'AUSGRID' search_string,
result
from (select
column_name,
table_name,
'ora:view("' || table_name || '")/ROW/' ||'[ora:contains(text(),"%' || 'AUSGRID' || '%") > 0]' str
from all_tables),
xmltable (str columns result varchar2(10) path '.')
But came up with this error:
ORA-19112: error raised during evaluation:
XVM-01003: [XPST0003] Syntax error at '['
1 ora:view("ICOL$")/ROW/[ora:contains(text(),"%AUSGRID%") > 0]
- ^
19112. 00000 - "error raised during evaluation: %s"
*Cause: The error function was called during evaluation of the XQuery expression.
*Action: Check the detailed error message for the possible causes.
Any help is much appreciated.

• Please Help With : XVM-01003: [XPST0003]/LPX-00801: XQuery Syntax error at

Hi gurus,
I need your help on using the XMLQuery function. We are FINALLY in the processing of migrating from 10g to 11gR2! Oracle says that we should replace extracValue with XMLQuery, so I am trying to do that but I am getting the errors below,
XVM-01003: [XPST0003] Syntax error at (if I use a PL/SQL variable).
LPX-00801: XQuery syntax error at (if I use the literals).
I have read through many of the posts related to XMLQuery and its default element namespace, but I have no luck on that. I have an example that has this kind prefix (a part of the xml is posted here):
<soap:Body>
<soap:Fault xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
<soap:Code>
<soap:Value>soap:Sender</soap:Value>
<soap:Subcode>
<soap:Value>soap:InvalidMessage</soap:Value>
</soap:Subcode>
</soap:Code>
<soap:Reason>
<soap:Text xml:lang="en">UpdateCaseDetentionStatus does not apply to this case's type.</soap:Text>
</soap:Reason>
<soap:Node>CourtFileNumber</soap:Node>
I need to get the Text inside the Reason node. No matter what I do with the default namespace (and if I don't declare one I also get an error), I get the following error:
XMLQuery ('declare default element namespace s="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" ; /s:Envelope/s:Body/s:Fault/s:Reason/s:Text'):
LPX-00801: XQuery syntax error at 's'
1 declare default element namespace s="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelop
- ^
ORA-06512: at line 103
XMLQuery('declare default element namespace xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" ; /soap:Envelope/soap:Body/soap:Fault/soap:Reason/soap:Text'):
LPX-00801: XQuery syntax error at 'xmlns:soap'
1 declare default element namespace xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soa
- ^
ORA-06512: at line 103
Using the XMLTable function does not have any problems.
What do I do wrong here? I could just use the XMLTable to replace all the extractValue(s) that I have, but I really want to learn how to make the XMLQuery correct. Please help!
I just tried this and I got the same error:
XMLQuery('declare default namespace s="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" ; (::) $p/s:Envelope/s:Body/s:Fault/s:Reason/s:Text' passing p_XMLDoc as "p"
Thank you.

Hi Ben,
Can someone please explain to me when should I use the default key word and when I should not use it?If you declare a default namespace then all unqualified (= unprefixed) elements will be considered belonging to that namespace.
If you declare a namespace with a prefix, you'll have to qualify each element in the XQuery.
See below example based on your XML sample :
DECLARE
soap_doc xmltype := xmltype(
'<soap:Body xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
<soap:Fault>
<soap:Code>
<soap:Value>soap:Sender</soap:Value>
<soap:Subcode>
<soap:Value>soap:InvalidMessage</soap:Value>
</soap:Subcode>
</soap:Code>
<soap:Reason>
<soap:Text xml:lang="en">UpdateCaseDetentionStatus does not apply to this case''s type.</soap:Text>
</soap:Reason>
<soap:Node>CourtFileNumber</soap:Node>
</soap:Fault>
</soap:Body>'
v_text  varchar2(100);
BEGIN
-- with a default namespace,
-- no need to prefix each element :
SELECT XMLCast(
XMLQuery(
'declare default element namespace "http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"; (::)
/Body/Fault/Reason/Text'
passing soap_doc
returning content
as varchar2(100)
INTO v_text
FROM dual;
dbms_output.put_line(v_text);
-- with a declared namespace prefix,
-- each element must be qualified with the prefix :
SELECT XMLCast(
XMLQuery(
'declare namespace s = "http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"; (::)
/s:Body/s:Fault/s:Reason/s:Text'
passing soap_doc
returning content
as varchar2(100)
INTO v_text

• ORA-01003 Error from jbpm/hibernate

We are using the JBoss jbpm workflow solution which uses hibernate as the persistence API. Intermittently we are getting failures when it is trying to insert into the jbpm_log table. Looking at low level jdbc logging it appears to be constructing prepared statements correctly and binding variables. Is it possible for this error to be caused by memory issues on the database server side eg lack of free space in shared pool ?

Hi Joe, Thanks for your quick response. I have sent you an email regarding a BEA support case we have raised for this.
Just to add some more info here :-
The failure on the insert into jbpm_log only happens intermittently, 99% are successfully inserted including the exact same insert statement (with different bind variable values).
My thoughts on investigating this are that it could be to do with statement caching as it does appear that the cursor that weblogic has cached a handle to may be invalid in terms of the shared sql is no longer in the oracle shared pool. I would have expected that Oracle would have reparsed the statement and it shouldnt fail but I am not familiar with the detail of weblogic statement caching implementation, only of the oracle jdbc driver level.
Occassionally I have also seem the following Oracle error and dont know whether there is some connection with this.
ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column

• (FWM 01003) null

Hello,
Suddenly I stopped having access to the CMC (and all applications of
SAP
BO) and I'm getting the error: "FWM 01003 error that the server doesn't
exist or isn't running".
I already tried restarting all services SAP BO, SIA and Tomcat.
There are no errors in the event log or in log files in directory

Kind regards

Can you check if you can access CMC from the server, using localhost? Make sure CMS DB is up and running.
What version of BO are you using?

Hi,
What am I doing wrong?The PATH expression is not a valid XPath expression, probably a typo?

no slash hereshould be :

Few points
1. Use {noformat} <put your code here> {noformat} tags to format your code. Its ugly without formatting.
2. Please remove the WHEN OTHERS THEN from your code and run again. Get the full error message with line number and post it here.
3. Mention your database version.

• ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-01003: no statement

Hi ,
we pass Query to ref cursor using with clause and it works fine on oracle Sql but raise an error when called from
ADO.net
for example
create or replace package body abc_details
as
proedure initial (p_refcursor out sys_refcursor)
is
begin
v_sql='with a as (select ..
, b as (select * from table(emppkg.empdetails))
open p_refcursor for v_sql;
end;
with oracle 10g it works fine on Sql prompt and fetches the results but when called from ado.net it
intermitantly fetches and error "ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-01003: no statement "
Please suggest
Thanks in advance.

wild guess here,
but emppkg.empdetails type look's like a pl/sql type,
while it should be a sql type.

• Error: Server BALAHSAN01:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003)

Hi All,
I am a beginner with BO.
I installed BOE (Version XI 3.0) on my machine. Just after the installation, all the tools were ok.
After logging out of windows, I have the error "Error: Server BALAHSAN01:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null" when I try to connect to the CMC or InfoView.
My configuration is : Windows XP SP2. I'm using MySQL5 and Tomcat. ports have not been changed.
Note : my server is the localhost (no firewall!). MySQL5 does work.
Do you see any reason to this?
Thanks,
Daniel
N.B: I've seen the discussions for this error in the forum, but the configurations were not the same ones (remote servers...)

Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?
Did you compile the form successfully at the client side before uploading it to the server?
Did you use the TEMPLATE.fmb file to create this custom form?
Not sure what is the code you are using in that form, so posting it may help -- OERR: ORA 1003 no statement parsed [ID 18594.1]
Thanks,

• RE: Getting ORA-01003: no statement parsed error

Hi,
It looks familiar to some of the error which I encountered before. The
situation was a for ... select loop without explicit begin/end transaction.
The reason given by Forte consultant is that:
The dbsession used by the for ... select loop needed to be locked by a
begin/end transaction otherwise, there may be chances that the dbsession is
being acquired by some other sql that unknowingly corrupted the cursor
implicitly built for that for ... select loop.
Hopes this help.
Regards,
Peter Sham.

Hi,
if i execute a process flow, once the process flow worked fine. If i execute at another time the process flow didn't work with the following error messages:
RPE-01008: Wiederherstellung dieser Anforderung ist in Bearbeitung.
RPE-01003: Die Anforderung konnte wegen einer Infrastructure-Bedingung nicht abgeschlossen werden.
Any ideas?

• Process Flow error- RPE 01003

Hello,
We are facing a very strange problem while running process flows in OWB. We are getting followig error when we execute process flows.
InfrastructureException: RPE-01003: An infrastructure condition prevented the request from completing.
- Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
It's strange because we are able to connect to source and target database outside owb. Also, the location test is successful. Any idea why it fails to connect while running process flow only. We tested the db links created by owb. They work as well.
We are using OWB 10.2 on Oracle 10G installed on Linux RAC machines.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Madhavi

I installed Crystal Reports Server 2008. The server is a new install of windows 2003 server fully service packed... Hi Abhishek,
The Central Management Server (CMS) is responsible for maintaining a database of information about your BusinessObjects Enterprise system, which other components can access. The data stored by the CMS includes information about users and groups, security levels, BusinessObjects Enterprise content, and servers
- Maintaining Security , Managing Objects, Managing Servers, Managing Auditing.
SIA is the Server Intelligence Agent. Server Intelligence is the underlying server management architecture that simplifies the administration and deployment of BusinessObjects Enterprise servers and services. When you start a SIA you can configure all, some, or none of the servers contained in/managed by the SIA to also be started. All BO servers in a SIA must belong to the same cluster. The SIA maintains server status according to the settings you specify in the CMC. It processes the CMC's requests to start, stop, monitor, and manage all servers on the node, and it also monitors potential problems and automatically restarts servers that have shut down unexpectedly. The SIA ensures optimal performance by continually monitoring server status information, which is stored in the CMS database. When you change a server's settings or add a new server in the CMC, the CMS notifies the SIA, and the SIA performs the task.
The SIA is automatically configured during installation, but you can change these default settings through the CCM.
