Getting an ORA-01003 error importing images using Apex import options

I took an export of the images from my application (would be nice if this was included in the applicatoin export options)
When I try to import, I get the following error
Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-01003: no statement parsed
begin wwv_flow.g_import_in_progress := true; end;
ORA-01003: no statement parsed
This worked for me on apex.oracle.com.. can't do it on any of my apex instances.
I am able to import applications without a problem
Any suggestions?

Anyone have any ideas?

  • Why am I getting an ORA-04052 error when I try to compile a Procedure?

    Hi,
    The following procedure I'm getting an ORA-04052 error when I try to compile the following procedure.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE APPS.Find_String (
    pin_referenced_name IN dba_dependencies.referenced_name%TYPE)

      FROM [email protected]        -- prod.world
    WHERE lower(referenced_name) = lower(pin_referenced_name) --'ftbv_salesrep_all_1d'
       AND referenced_type <> 'SYNONYM'
       AND owner <> 'SYS'
    order by name;
    v_owner  varchar2(40);
    v_name   varchar2(50);

           dbms_output.put_line(' ');
           dbms_output.put_line(RPAD('OWNER', 30, ' ')||RPAD('NAME', 60, ' ')||RPAD('OBJECT TYPE', 30, ' '));
           dbms_output.put_line('-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------');
            FOR i IN cur_get_dependancy

                v_owner := RPAD(i.owner, 30, ' ');
                v_name  := RPAD(i.name, 45, ' ');
                v_type  := RPAD(i.type, 30, ' ');
                dbms_output.put_line(v_owner ||v_name|| v_type);
            END LOOP;
    END find_string;I'm using the link [email protected]. The procedure compiles for other database links used in the cursor including the one commented to the right of the code 'prod.world'.
    What's even stranger is that I took the SELECT statement
    SELECT distinct owner, name, type
      FROM [email protected]        -- prod.world
    WHERE lower(referenced_name) = lower(pin_referenced_name) --'ftbv_salesrep_all_1d'
       AND referenced_type <> 'SYNONYM'
       AND owner <> 'SYS'
    order by name;out of the procedure and ran it on the command line using the @pinp.world link, the SQL statement ran just fine. But when I tried to compile the above procedure with that exact same SQL statement with the exact same link I get the following string of errors.
    ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object [email protected]
    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-02068: following severe error from PINP
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channelHow can the link work just fine in a regular SQL statement but then cause an error when its compiled in code that otherwise compile just fine when using any other link or even just a plain database. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    OK Justin,
    Here's the query by itself run in another database using the @pinp.world link and querying the dba_dependencies table in the pinp.world database. As you can see the query using this link works just fine returning the requested rows. I can't figure out why the compiler is having an issue with essentially this same query when I try to compile it in a cursor in TOAD. Also this is the database (dev1.world) that I'm trying to compile this Procedure in.
    By the way I'm in an Oracle 9.2.0.6 database and TOAD v9.2.

    After importing images from my card using LR 5.4, the GPS data does not show in the metadata panel. However, when I look at the imported images using Bridge, the GPS data is visible. Anybody know why LR is not seeing the GPS data? Camera is Canon 6D.

    Ok, the issue seem to be solved. The problem was this:
    The many hundred files (raw and xmp per image) have been downloaded by ftp in no specific order. Means - a couple of files in the download queue - both raw and xmps. Most of the time, the small xmp files have been finished loading first and hence the "last change date" of these xmp files was OLDER than the "last change date" of the raw file - Lightroom then seem to ignore the existence of the xmp file and does not read it during import.(a minute is enough to run into the problem)
    By simply using the ftp client in a way that all large raw files get downloaded first followed by the xmp files, we achieved that all "last changed dates" of the xmp files are NEWER than the related raw files. (at least not older)
    And then LR is reading them and all metadata information has been set / read correctly.
    So this is solved.

  • Import image using JS (preferred on document-level)

    Hello,
    I am going to implement a dynamic legend using JavaScript in Adobe Acrobat. The document contains a lot of layers. Every layer has an own legend. The origin idea is to implement the legend so, that it contains the images in a dialog box for the visible layers. I can only hide/show the layers by setting state to false or true (this.getOCGs()[i].state = false;) on document-level.
    Question 1: Can I extract data from layer somehow  for legend establishing? I think no, as we only have these function on layers: getIntent(), setIntent() and  setAction(). Right? Therefore I decided to arrange it so, that all needed icons for every layer are saved in a folder with corresponding names. JavaScript should import the icons and I build the a dialog window with icons of visible Layers and place a text(description for this icon).
    I tried all possibilities of image import described here: http://pubhelper.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/astuces-toolbar-icons-et-javascript.html. I got only one way (Convert the icons as hexadecimal strings). This way isn't good, as it is too much work to create with an other tool a hexadecimal string from a images and place it into a javascript code.
    Unfortunately, I cannot import image using other methods:(. Since the security settings in Adobe are changed after version 7 or so, it is not possible to use functions like app.newDoc, app.openDoc, even app.getPath On document-level. I decided to implement the import on the folder level using trusted functions like this:
    Variant 1:
    var importImg = app.trustedFunction(function() {
        app.beginPriv();
        var myDoc = app.newDoc({
            nWidth: 20,
            nHeight: 20
            var img = myDoc.importIcon("icon", "/icon.png", 0);
            app.endPriv();
        return img;
    var oIcon = importImg();
    NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.
    App.newDoc:109:Folder-Level:User:acrobat.js
    Variant 2:
    var importImg = app.trustedFunction(function() {
           var appPath = var phPath = app.getPath({
            cCategory: "user",
            cFolder: "javascript"
           try {
                   app.beginPriv();
            var doc = app.openDoc({
                cPath: phPath + "/icon.png",
                bHidden: true
             app.endPriv();
        } catch (e) {
            console.println("Could not open icon file: " + e);
            return;
            var oIcon = util.iconStreamFromIcon(doc.getIcon("icon"));
        return oIcon;
    var oIcon = importImg();
    Error: Could not open icon file: NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.
    The settings in Preferences->JavaScript-> JavaScript Security are disabled (Enable menu item JS execution privileges, enable global object security policy).
    Question 2: Is it not allowed or should I change some other settings or use the import on any other way?
    I tried all these possibilities with .jpg, .png, .pdf. with different sizes(big images and 20x20 pxls), It doesn't work.
    Could somebody help me, as I spent a lot of time with trying different possibilities. It would be actually better to implement the main goal described above on document level, are there other possibilities to access images, maybe using xml or something else) (Question 3)?
    Thank you and kind regards,
    Alex

  • Getting an ORA-24333 error while parsing a non SELECT statement ...

    Hi,
    I'm new to this forum and I've search through the entire forum to see if my problem was already solved, but at first sight it doesn't ?
    So I hope that someone can help me one this : I'm facing a strange problem with the OCI 8i. I've encapsulated any OCI call into a set of C++ classes. Everything works fine apart for one point : whenever I try to parse a NON "select" statement, I get the ORA-24333 error.
    Basically, the code follow the current schema (only "important" states are written here) :
    -> Opening an Oracle Session
    -> Receving de statement.
    -> Analyse it with a call to OCIStmtPrepare() with OCI_NTV_SYNTAX set.
    -> Calling OCIBindByName() to associate each variable with a data.
    -> Calling OCIStmtExecute() with OCI_DESCRIBE_ONLY set in order to retrieve the current list of INPUT/OUTPUT columns.
    And this is where the problem arise.
    With a statement like : "SELECT MyPackage.MyFunction(:v1) FROM DUAL"
    Everthing works fine. I can bind the INPUT/OUTPUT ":v1" variable.
    But with a statement like : "BEGIN MYFUNTION(:v1); END;"
    I get the ORA-24333 error after the call to OCIStmtExecute().
    I get this error only when I set OCI_DESCRIBE_ONLY. If I call OCIStmtExecute() with OCI_DEFAULT, the OCI execute the statement. This is fine but it's not what I want. I cannot change the statement received (by design), so they should be proceeded as received.
    What I'm looking for is a way to successfully perform the OCIStmtExecute() with OCI_DESCRIBE_ONLY set in order to get the list of variables columns related to the current statement.
    Any help would be greatly apprecitated here. Thanks !
    Here are my current configurations.
    -> Windows 2000 SP5 OCI 8i / VC++ 6.0
    -> Macintosh OS X 10.3.4 / Code Warrior 8.3
    (The code produce exactly the same results/troubles on both plateforms.)
    Thanks in advance for your respons.

  • ORA-01003 Error from jbpm/hibernate

    We are using the JBoss jbpm workflow solution which uses hibernate as the persistence API. Intermittently we are getting failures when it is trying to insert into the jbpm_log table. Looking at low level jdbc logging it appears to be constructing prepared statements correctly and binding variables. Is it possible for this error to be caused by memory issues on the database server side eg lack of free space in shared pool ?

    Hi Joe, Thanks for your quick response. I have sent you an email regarding a BEA support case we have raised for this.
    Just to add some more info here :-
    The failure on the insert into jbpm_log only happens intermittently, 99% are successfully inserted including the exact same insert statement (with different bind variable values).
    My thoughts on investigating this are that it could be to do with statement caching as it does appear that the cursor that weblogic has cached a handle to may be invalid in terms of the shared sql is no longer in the oracle shared pool. I would have expected that Oracle would have reparsed the statement and it shouldnt fail but I am not familiar with the detail of weblogic statement caching implementation, only of the oracle jdbc driver level.
    Occassionally I have also seem the following Oracle error and dont know whether there is some connection with this.
    ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column

  • ORA 2005 error when you using ODBC driver of 10.2.0.3

    I am getting following error when connecting Oracle 10.2.0.3 to Oracle 11.1 database from a thrid part application:
    Issue Description. An application using Oracle ODBC driver version 10.2.0.3 to communicate with the Oracle database 11g tries to update the field “SOURCE_CODE” of LONG data type in table “SUBROUTINE” returns the following error.
    ORA-02005: Implict -1 length not valid for the bind or dfeine datatype.
    I updated my client to 10.2.0.4,, error is still present. Does any one know what patch to install to get rid of this error. I cannot modify the third party code.

    What are the system requirements (supported config) of 3rd party app?
    According to the 9.2 Error Messages document,
    >
    ORA-02005 implicit (-1) length not valid for this bind or define datatype
    Cause: A negative length for the define variable was passed to a define function.
    Action: An explicit, non-negative, length parameter must be passed.
    >
    Perhaps you should report this back to vendor as a bug.
    You could also turn on odbc tracing (driver/dsn config) to catch the cuplrit statement.

  • Get a ORA-32104 error: Debian Oracle10gR2 OCCI

    My code is very simple, and i got an exception when I was trying to execute the following code env = Environment::createEnvironment (Environment::OBJECT); I have also tried env = Environment::createEnvironment (); The result is exactly the same.
    The exception is "Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-32104"
    My host is Debian, gcc4.1.2, and I have got the new occi library. I am confused with the error.
    I compiler the code with gcc3.4.3, but got the same error.
    Thanks.

  • Can't import images using iCloud on iPad and Mac

    Yes. I have followed the "easy" instructions of the Apple site for setting my up my icloud account and sign in with both devices. Yes I have seen every imaginable youtube video of how to's and followed the steps.  I am connected to the internet, signed in with icloud in both devices, ticked automatic upload of photos, photo sharing, etc. Now where do I find the images? are they automatically imported NO and if I enter icloud from the internet can I see my images NO!
    and if i followed the easy steps to import them using iphoto, it just says something stupid like "import the photos" yeah...how???!!

    I have an Ipad2 and a Macbook pro, latest software versions downloaded today
    Which software versions exactly? "latest" may depend on your hardware. MacOS X10.9.1)? iPhoto 9.5.1?.
    Othe fact is when i go to the icloud.com the photos are not there either. I made an album on the ipad and "shared" manually the photos for icloud and nope, it doesnt work.
    How did you share the album?
    You can share to a shared Photo Stream and publish that stream as a public webpage on your iCloud webpage. Is taht what you have done? Then you need to use exactly the url, that is given, when you publish the webpage. It is not linked on your iCloud page.
    If I wanted download manually the photos to iphoto I cant I cant because the icloud icon doesnt appear in the left menu of iphoto like the one you are showing, it doesnt display either a shared button like the one you have in your screen and it doesnt explain at all how to import images.
    Let's compare the settings on your Mac:
    In System Preferences - you say you are signed into iCloud, o.k.
    Did you enable the options for "Photos"?
    Check, if bot "My Photo Stream" and "Photo Sharing" are enabled.
    Otherwise iPhoto will not show the iCloud options.
    In iPhoto you should see the iCloud panel I posted as a Tab in the iPhoto Preferences panel.
    (My screenshots are done in iPhoto 9.5.1 and MacOS X 10.9.1)

  • Lightroom 5 Darkens Photos after Importing Images Used with Different Camera [NOT SHOOTING IN RAW NOR B

    I seriously need help, my whole entire catalog of photos just got darkened for some reason after importing photos used with a different camera. What happened is that I imported photos taken with a different camera (Canon EOS 60D) and when I did that, it darkened all the rest of my photos (taken with Canon EOS Rebel T3). Why did this happen? This is making my photos insanely hard to edit.

    If you always want Camera Neutral picture style to be applied, then open one of your images that you have imported and have changed nothing else in Lightroom.  Set the camera profile to Camera Neutral and save new camera default settings.  Then whenever you import that setting will be applied to all of your images.
    If you don't always want that style, you could save a preset that applies the Camera Neutral picture style, and then you could choose to use that preset during the import process.
    It is simply a matter of determining your workflow and then setting things the way you want them to work.

    I suspect the crash is coming from your nil PMPointList in IPlacePIData::Set. Try setting to something other than nil.
    For example use the bounds of the page item...
    PMPointList pointList(2);
    pointList.push_back(topLeft);
    pointList.push_back(rightBottom);
    placeData->Set(frame, &pointList, kFalse);
    I believe these would be bounds int he parent coordinates.
    I hope this helps!

  • Import Image Sequence not importing all images

    I have a sequence of 99 JPG images that I am trying to import into Premiere Pro. These images were created by an export from Lightroom.
    When I perform the import starting at the first image, only 35 images are imported.
    If I import the sequence starting at the 34th image, only 2 images are imported.
    If I import the sequence starting at the 35th image, only 1 image is imported (and it is imported as an image file it appears).
    If I import the sequence starting at the 36th image, the remaining images are imported.
    I have tried a number of different settings for the export from lightroom, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. For example, if I export as TIFF I see the exact same problem. If I export as JPG using a smaller image size I see the exact same problem.
    I have tried "Replace Footage..." to no effect.
    When I inspect the image files using an image view there appear to be no issues with the files. File sizes are consistent and not inordinantly large (~5MB).
    The filenames are all properly numbered as expected by Premiere Pro.
    I have done this successfully dozens of times before this problem arose, and I have done it successfully a number of times since the problem arose. The problem appears to happen only with this particular set of images.
    I can work around the problem by importing the images as two separate imports (one starting at the first image and a second starting at the 36th image) and putting them both in a single sequence. In fact, this spliced sequence looks as expected with no missing frames or anything else untoward that I can see.
    I've poked around with this for a couple days, and cannot discern any other factors that may be causing this.
    Does anybody have any idea what might be going on?

    I checked the filenames again and they're properly sequenced with no extra or missing spaces or anything else that doesn't follow the pattern of the first 34 images. In fact, I took a screenshot of this, and in doing so I figured out what the problem is.
    Here's a screenshot of the directory with all the images.
    As I was reviewing this screenshot, I noticed that the "Date" column goes over midnight. Images 0001-0034 all took place before midnight, and images 0035-0099 took place after midnight.
    This column shows the capture time of the images, coming from the camera and through the export from Lightroom. This is different from the creation date of the exported file, which is shown in the "Date modified" column (cropped out of screenshot). In other words, you can see that I took the pictures on February 25 and 26, but exported them on March 1.
    To verify that this might be the problem I used "Edit Capture Time..." in Lightroom to shift all the images an hour earlier. This means that there is no longer a date change in the sequence as they all have capture times before midnight. I then exported the images from Lightroom again, and imported them into Premiere Pro.
    When I do this, all the images are imported into Lightroom successfully.
    I realize this is only one data point, but it sounds like Premiere Pro is maybe using the capture time as part of its sequencing heuristics, and for some reason it isn't handling a date change properly. Or maybe something else is afoot.
    What do you think?

  • Understanding File Import Images VS File Import Folders into a Project

    Hello,
    When I select the "File>Import>Images" command, images go straight into my project, no album is created.
    When when I use the "File>Import>Folders into a Project..." command on a folder containing subfolders, it will map the folder to a Project and subfolders to albums. OK.
    However, when I use the "File>Import>Folders into a Project..." command on a folder with NO subfolders, images are put in an Album anyway. Why is that?
    Is it possible to avoid the creation of an album and have images straight in the Project?
    Thanks,

    You're right. Me alone is nothing. But if a high % of A2 users think like me, then maybe this feature needs some polishing.
    The REALLY simple work around is to delete the album. The images won't go with it, and it's faster than retyping the name.
    Good, that's the workaround I needed. For some reasons I was under the impression that deleting the album would delete the the images as well. I guess I'm still not used to that project-album concept.
    You could hit Command + Delete on a hundred Projects and do less work than you've done on this one thread.
    BTW: You submit feedback by choosing Aperture>> Provide Aperture Feedback not by posting it on a U2U forum. There are Apple moderators here but not Application Engineers.
    Sure, that's how I always submit feedback to Apple.
