Hi Gopi,
Which release are you using ?
This message appears when you change any field in the service ticket which has an influence on contract determination, such as ibase, ibase component, line item, ...
As of CRM2007 we have enabled a hyperlink for this message. Clicking the hyperlink will re-execute the contract selection.

  • New contract account for every line item in subscription order....

    Hi Guys,
I am having a problem with the subscription order.
Whenever I change the subscription order and add a line item to it, SAP by default  creates a new contract account for that line item. Whereas I want to assign the same contract account to the second line item also.
Can you suggest me any solution for this problem?
    Thanks in advance...
    Regards,
    Abhay

    Hello Abhay,
This is the normal and correct function for SAP. If you would like for the subscriptions to be on the same contract that you subscriber has, an enhancement has to be developed.
We had a similar requirement and an enhancement was developed per specifications.

This was something interesting that came out of Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference today, straight from the lips of Terry Myerson, the Executive VP of the Windows and Devices Group.
He also was quoted as saying "Last week we announced a focusing on our Lumia lineup..." Again, further proof that Microsoft is not abandoning Windows Phone or Windows 10 Mobile.

  • !Important! You should backup your new computer (or your old one!)

As a Geek Squad Ask an Agent representive, I recieve plenty of calls. One of the questions I invariably have to ask is 'Do you have your recovery DVD's?' and the answer is always 'No.. doesn't the computer come with them?'
Macintosh computers (that's Apple) *do* in most cases come with OS recovery DVD's. PC's - which include popular brands such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Toshiba, etc - do NOT come with OS Recovery DVD's (in most cases).
    What are Recovery DVD's?
Recovery DVD's are a copy of your system's OS, or Operating System. In most cases, this is Windows 7. You'll notice you have a sticker on the side, back or bottom of your PC/Laptop with your licence key. You don't need this, but this states you own the copy of Windows 7, so you're free to back it up for your machine.
The backup proccess also makes a copy of most of the programs you install on the machine. If you have a lot of programs, MP3's, or video files already installed, it'll use more DVD's.
For instructions on how to backup, refer to this Microsoft Document:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Back-up-your-files
If you don't understand this, refer to this:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/4241/how-to-create-a-system-image-in-windows-7/
I would recommend an external hard drive for backup, *and* a between 4 to 7 DVD's for a 'doomsday' situation - such as cases where the recovery external hard drive is corrupt or has been infected by a virus. This rarely happens, but always be prepared!
If you take the hour or so it takes to complete the backup proccess, you will avoid the following scenarios:
    1. Paying money if there is a problem with your PC's software that causes it to freeze or crash. You can just go back to a 'restore point'.
    2. Paying money to remove virus's. Hey, you have a backup. Just use the recovery DVD to wipe the computer and reload it with an uninfected copy from that backup you made two days ago.
    3. Your computer or hard drive fails. Hey, you have a backup. When your machine is repaired, restore from backup and you've lost nothing.
    4. Someone comes and messes up your computer. Say, your 'computer genius nephew'. Restore to a previous day, and it's as if he had never come over!
    5. Random freezes and blue screens. Restore to FACTORY DEFAULT - if you create a system image when you first started the computer or near that time, you can restore to that point using the DVD's rather then the external hard drive. If the blue screens and freezes continue, it's much more likely to be a hardware problem then a software problem, which means you should bring it into the nearest Best Buy for a hardware diagnosis and possible warranty repair.
The most important reason for spending this time to back up is PEACE OF MIND.
    Still confused? Call 1-800-GEEK-SQUAD.

Additionally, some HP computers do not have recovery partitions, or those recovery partitions may become corrupt/unusable. Therefore, creating a DVD recovery set is always the best option. To see if you have a recovery partition, navigate to START/COMPUTER and view if you have a secondary hard drive (labeled other then C:, usually D that is named 'Recovery, SYSTEM FILES' or similar.

  • What's the latest news on 'waiting for items to copy' sync problem?

This has been happening for several days. I usually sync every morning and head out of the house with new podcasts to listen to during my morning commute, but lately the sync gets stuck at the final step...6 of 6, or 7 of 7...'waiting for items to copy'. I have read a lot of the posts here and don't see a real solution. The first sync I did this morning had no contacts when I cancelled the sync after 2 hrs. Upon re-syncing at the office, contacts were back in, but it is still hanging at the final stage as I write....another 2 hrs into my day (almost noon now). Has anyone heard from Apple about a Fix? This seems widespread and accross all platforms, iOS, Windows, etc....I am going to guess that it will come in a few days once they find the exact glitch in the recent software updates (very unlike Apple).

    Hi maasailand giraffe,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
First of all, thanks for the detailed notes of the troubleshooting steps you've already tried.  It's hard to pinpoint exactly what is going on in your specific case, but I do have a few more ideas for you to try.
Starting with just one of your iPads, when you get stuck on the "waiting for items to copy" step, just disconnect your iPhone.  There are probably some orphaned or corrupt files that need to be addressed.  I would suggest closing all of your open apps and then backing your iPad up to iCloud.  Then review the articles below to move or delete any big files on your device.  These can include Voice Memos (iPhone), music, photos on your camera roll, photos or videos that are attached to your Messages, email attachments, etc.

If you need to sync from iTunes, check your settings in the Summary tab to be sure you are only syncing items you have placed a checkmark in front of.

Give this a try on one of your iPads, and hopefully these steps will work for your other devices as well.

  • How do you re-create a new Apple account for I Pod 4th Gen?

I purchased a new A pple I Pod 4 gen and set up a account for my apps and I cant access anything. How do I just reset and start all over?

By 'can't access anything' you mean ... ?
You can't reset or delete an account, you can only remove any personal info from it and stop using it.
Did you have an account previously ? If you did, and you had bought/downloaded content from the store with it, then that content will remain tied to that account - using that account should give you access to some/all of its previous purchases.

  • Logic for contract selection for FOABG and FOIQ

    Hi,
Can anyone let me know how to restrict the contracts with a staus for which the FI posting are not allowed during the periodic posting and accrual posting.
What is happening currently is that the system is picking all the contracts and then keeping these contracts in error saying that FI posting is not allowed for them.
And its getting difficult to actually concentracte on the actuall errors are they are very less of the whole lot of errors.
    Regards,
    Haranadh

the same feature is available in REFX where a status can be used as a selection criteria in both these transaction codes.  No FM / BAPI is available for the same in classic RE

  • What do you think of this new computer configuration for me?

I'm about to buy a new computer and would appreciate any feedback about my choices. I'm buying it because my current computer bogs down using Content Aware Fill and HDR and is too slow for games.
Here is what I currently plan to buy:
    Alienware m18x Laptop
    Intel i7 2630QM 2.0 GHz (2.8 w turbo boost, 6MB Cache)
    Win 7 64 bit
    RAM - 16GB dual channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
Dual overkill video cards for gaming (2x AMD HD 6970M)
80 GB SSD for OS and programs
120 GB SSD (40 GB for games and about 80GB for Scratch)
750 GB 7200 rpm hard drive external usb 3.0 for files.
    See anything stupid yet? :-)
For another $150 (5% of total) I could get a CPU that is 10% faster but I think it might be smarter to go cheap now and upgrade in a year or two.
16GB is all I can squeeze into this laptop without spending a fortune.
Since I can't have more RAM, I think having SSD for scratch might be good.
I don't know what size files I generate but my camera makes 18M pixels pics. I usually open fewer than five at any one time. I usually don't open more than five layers. I also use LR 3.4. I'm also getting a Dell 30" 2560x1600 monitor.
I can afford speed but I don't like throwing money away. I need a laptop instead of a desktop because I travel and like to bring my computer with me.
Can you suggest any improvements? See any bottlenecks?
    Thanks for advice!
    Doug

With 16G of RAM will 80Gb be enough for Scratch?
I think that depends on what you try to do...
I have 16 GB myself, and I saw scratch use go over 200 GB once when stitching a large panorama.  I was flabbergasted that Photoshop could think it needed 200 GB of space for what would be a resultant pano that was only a few hundred megapixels.
Just twiddling the Liquify filter can cause GB after GB to be used up by files of the form *_MVM_*.tmp in short order.  Unfortunately, these temporary files aren't put on the drive identified for scratch, but in the folder identified by TEMP - usually (that's an open sore spot here on the forum at the moment).
I'd have to say that in general you'll probably be okay.

  • I have same apple ID as my kids and I have all of their contacts and app's show up on my phone.  I was thinking I should create a new apple ID for myself but will I lose my contacts and my songs?

How do I get rid of my kids phone contacts and app's from showing up on my phone?

Keep the existing ID for yourself and either give the kids their own individual accounts or check out the new family plan.

  • There should be a new mix screen for logic!?

there should be a dedicated screen with not only the faders but with all grouped EQ's opened to tweek, if i have a group of drums i should be able to
have a screen just to mix those instruments.

Are you familliar with logic's screen sets? You can set up and save/recall any arangement of windows you want. You can recall the screeen set with a single key stroke.

  • You should put a new mode (Power Saving mode )

where you can adjust what you want to be turned off. eg LTE,Location Service etc, This way, when im low on battery i dont have to hassle doing so many things at once. Please take this into consideration when doing ur ios 7

  • How do you get the value of a selected list item?

I have a drop-down list that the user can choose from. How do I get the value of what they selected? I thought I could do this by using the NAME_IN function, but I'm getting FRM-40105 Unable to resolve reference to item X. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
You can use an WHEN-LIST-CHANGED trigger, attached to the list-item itself. And, in this trigger, you can use the name of the item to refer its value.
    For example:
    :block_name.list_item_name
    John
