you sent me an update on Wed. When I went on my computer on thurs, I could not access Pogo or other sites on my internet.
It happened to me too i cant even stay connected to Ebay Firefox developers what are you doing to fix the mess you created on my PC????
Should i restore is that my last resort?

ThanksIf you can see the iCloud contacts in Outlook, you can copy them back to your PC by selecting all the contacts (click one, then press Control-A), then drag and drop the selected contacts to Contacts under My Contacts on the left sidebar of Outlook.
If you want to copy your calendar back to Outlook, select your iCloud calendar on the left sidebar of Outlook, switch to the list view (select View from the ribbon, then click Change View>List), select your events (click on a single event, then press Control-A), then control drag and drop them to Calendar under My Calendars on the left sidebar.
Then you can sign out of iCloud on the iCloud control panel and your local copies will still be there. If you want to add your iCloud email account back to iCloud, you can do this with these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864. -
1/23/14 update erased a dll file and who knows what else. I had to restore my computer back several months to get the file back. I just got another update package. Is it safe to use?
Thank you. After two system restores and three program removals using the control panel I got itunes back. I would feel better if Apple would include items you don't need options in installs so that the constant checking for what is not there would not create problems. For me it was MobileMe associations. I never would have thought of Bonjour and (Quicktime - which I don't even use but did not remove just in case)

I bought songs on my laptop which synced to my iphone and iPad. But I can't find them on itunes library on my home computer. However, when I click download for the same song it says it has already been purchased. How do I find it on home computer?
Is your "home computer" the same as your laptop or are these two different machines?

I upgraded to 5.01 and lost all my CD music files. Worse, I have had to change my computer and while I can see a list of files in Itunes on the new machine I cannot download them. What's to be done?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the new computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipad- without syncing : File>Transfer Purchases
In some countries you can redownload some itunes content.

I restored my computer to a time before an Itune update-need to keep songs
I restored my computer to a time befoe the last update to ITunes. Now I am unable to open ITunes at all. I am being asked to reinstall I-tunes when I click on the application, but I do not want to lose all my songs. I have all my songs on the i-pod. How can I restore the program without losing my songs?

I backed up my files as you suggested. I tried to reinstall I-tunes from the disc, and it looked as if everything was installing correctly. I tried reinstalling it by putting in the disk and waiting for the prompts. I also tried through the control panel "add programs." I think the add program approach even asked me if I wanted old files to be deleted. I said yes with confidence since I have a back up. Nothing worked. When I click on I-tunes, I receive the message: "I-tunes cannot run because some of its required components is missing. Please reinstall I-tunes."
It seems that I am not even able to delete the program. Maybe I can manually delete the folders through "explore?" What do you think I should try next? At least, all my music is backed up, and other than not being able to operate I-tunes from my computer, the computer seems to be operating normal.

A couple things about itunes match. First, why does it take up so much space before you download any songs when you enable it on an iphone? Also, why does it not give back that space when you disable itunes match? It would also be very appreciated if Apple would add a confirmation check to itunes match in settings when you disable it - the same way they do when you enable it. More then once I have disabled itunes match when I meant to disable show all music, and it is a pain to wait for itunes match to go through the whole process of enabling itself again.

I had a corrupt config.sys file and had to restore my laptop to original Windows XP restore. It backed up my documents and files, but I lost all my .exe's. I downloaded a new version of Firefox and now can't find my bookmarks. I haven't saved a backup for awhile, but all of my other files are there. Where can I find my bookmarks?
Firefox stores the bookmarks and the history in the places.sqlite file.

my phone is an iphone 4 and after the update to ios7.0.4 yesterday, i have lost all email facility. I dont have any email icon or button across the bottom of the phone which sits next to the phone, safari and music buttons. Has anyone else experienced this?? Thanks in advance

The Mail app cannot be deleted, so it is there somewhere. Look at all of your other Home screens to see if you can find it.
If you cannot, do a spotlight search to see if it got accidently moved into a folder: swipe down in the center of the screen to bring up the search bar - type in Mail - you should see the Mail icon in the search results. If it got moved into a folder, you will see the folder name on the right side. If it is in a folder, open the folder, and tap and hold the Mail icon until it wiggles, then slide it out and back to the place where you want it to be.
If that doesn' work, you can also go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will move all of your icons into the original order that they were on the phone. You may have to move stuff around after this to where you want it to be, but all of the Apple system apps will be on the first Home screen.

Unexpected difficulties downloading from trusted internet sites,please,help
Since last night,every time download the same file from the same trusted site,my MacBook forces me to "Open with Mail".These particular files has been downloaded by me on this same MacBook many times in the last few weeks.I am unable to change this mail method,because I don't know how?My only excuse is that I am a new MacBook. user.On windows,I never had this issue.I must have done something to cause this.I remember setting up my Mac yesterday with something like "firewall."Maybe that's why is this happening to me?Any suggestions,guidance?Thank you so much!!
The file should be in your downloads folder. Select it and type cmd-I (or Get Info from the File menu).
In the Open With section, choose the app that you want to open the file with. Then, click on Change All. -
