ZAC error
Hi,
I generated bootstrap application and tried to install it
on computers with JRE 1.3.0-C. It installed ok, but when I
try to run it the following error is displayed:
Cannot load suitable Java VM: error cannot load VM with order
preference 'S', exiting
I tried on 2 computers and got the same error for 2 different
bootstrap appl. Please, advise.
Regards,
Andrew

I suggest that you file a bug report with our support organization. Be sure
to include a complete test case. They will also need information from
you -- please review our external support procedures:

Hi!
One interesting problem. ZCM 11.2.2, Windows XP, so far on this device 11.2.1 (yeah, will try 11.2.2). I have a small script, nothing much. And some 150 devices where it is running via bundle during user login. And seems to on this one device it does fail. During user login first appear Windows error with ZAC (can't tell more, in events I don't see much), then several times (running script, probably) runscriptenf (in header) error, script is not fulfilled (well, sometimes it does). In agent log I see error (maybe some of these not mean anything, this user is not authenticated into zone, just local user) ...

And it tries several times ... end with error.
When I disable this script bundle running just zac-error appear during login, don't know why. Devices is setup very similar way. But ... on this device in question is also Microsoft Visual Studio 6 (version before 2005) installed. In other hand ... with ZCM 10 agent installed on same device ... no problem, so ... . Maybe it is not so big problem, but this device is located in lecture room and it (errors) does confuse teachers.
More thanks, Alar.Hi again!
Add another script-bundle and ... once again same error on these devices. But today "discovered" that on device in question where this error appear during user login, no errors when login with admin account which has the same bundles to run, because bundles is associated with device. So, could it be some access rights issue? Remember, I have cleaned cache and also upgraded agent -- from 11.2.1 to 11.2.2.

Fri Dec 01 11:04:40 GMT+05:30 2Hello Muffy,
It looks like you do not have WLS 5.1 service pack 6 installed correctly. I
say this because I do not see the sp6 message at the top of your log and I saw
this message in your log:
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Element "weblogic-enterprise-bean" allows no
further input; "transaction-isolation" is not allowed

Error 404 -- Not Found, when a Servlet is invoked from browser
Obviously, I have not been able to configure my WebLogic Server 5.1.0 to run
even the simplest servlet.
I painstakenly went through all the steps that are listed in the WebLogic
Server 5.1.0 documentation on the Web to enable servlets, but obviously, I
have missed a step somewhere.
I have modified the weblogic.properties file as per all the instrustions,
but the server simply won't recognize any servlets, not even the SqlServlet
that came with the server as an example.
It would require more than 1 exchange of posts to resolve it for me, and I
am wondering if one of you is willing to work with me on this until I have
managed to configure the server to make a servlet work on it.
The server does function as a Web server as I can run the index.html
document by entering the URL: http://localhost:7001/index.html
I am pasting the contents of weblogic.properties file below to get the
person who is willing to help me started.
The machine I have is a Pentium III with Windows 2000 Professional on it.
It's a home machine and the WebLogic server is the freely downloadable
version. I am using it to prepare for a potential contract work.
I have managed to modify setEnv.cmd file and have managed to compile the
SqlServlet.java, which is an example servlet. Neither this particular
servlet nor a HelloWorld type of very basic servlet I have written are
recognized by the server.
As you can see from my weblogic.properties file (pasted at the end of this
post), the SqlServlet has been registered. I have also uncommented the lines
to allow for the following type of URL:
http://localhost:7001/servlet/myServlet
Thanks!

# THE WEBLOGIC PROPERTIES FILE
# This file, which conforms to the java.util.Properties file
# definition, configures your WebLogic products. You cannot run
# WebLogic Server without setting required configuration properties in this
# file. Required properties are marked and appear first in the file.
# Details on each entry and important information about configuration
# and security are documented on our website. Please go to:
# for full instructions on how to edit this file.
# You do not need to include properties in this file unless you want to
# change the default, embedded property. Some properties on the
# AdminProps page are not listed here because the default property
# is being used. You can change the default by adding the property and
# its value to this file.
# You cannot set weblogic.system.home in this file, since the WebLogic
Server
# must know where home is in order to retrieve this file. You can
# change WebLogic home on the command line when you start the
# WebLogic Server.
# CLUSTER USERS: Note that the (shared) per-cluster properties file should
# contain most all of the properties in this file. The only properties
# that potentially belong in a per-server properties file for a server
# running in a cluster are the registration (startup class) of pinned
# RMI objects, and a few tuning properties that may be different for
# servers in the cluster, depending upon hardware and memory. If you use
# a per-server properties file, please REMOVE all properties except those
# that are specifically required in the per-server properties file. You
# can find specific notes on clusters by searching through this file for

I have a Macbook Pro, 500 GB Time Capsule, and a WD 1TB portable hardrive. All of my music files for iTunes are stored on the Time Capsule. I was backing up the files to the portable hard drive by copy and paste. At some point, I received an error message stating that the operation could not be completed due to an unexpected error -8072. I can't find any information on this error, so I went to the last folder that was copied to the hard drive. On the Time Capsule there was one file in the last folder that copied (...And I'm Out w Mr Lif.mp3) that had a different icon. I tried to preview the file and it didn't play. It didn't show up in the playlist that I created in iTunes for that CD either. I tried to delete the file and when I select send to trash I receive the following error message: Operation cannot be completed due to an unexpected error -8072. When I try to delete the folder that the file is in, I get the following message: the operation can't be completed because the item "1" is in use. When I select Get Info on the file, for permissions it tells me that I have unknown access.
I've shut down, restarted the computer and Time Capsule. There is nothing using the file or the directory. I've tried searching this forum and other forums and I can't find any direction. Would some one mind giving me some advice?
Thanks in advance.and here is the second return:

Cannot download my 15 available downloads, error says store is temp unavail
I reported the problem through iTunes around 12/5 and they replied once about 8 days ago with a standard boiler plate reply, telling me to do several things that I had already done. I wrote back with more details and got no reply, and then I wrote back a couple more times - but it's almost like Apple is ignoring me now. Even when I opened a new trouble ticket last week by reporting the problem with a different purchase they have not replied in three days. That is not acceptable.
There is no error code number. When I try to check for available downloads I get the error message "Unable to check for available downloads. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." There is no problem with my Comcast cable internet.
The problem started on Saturday 12/5/09 when I bought "Saturday Night Live with Zac Efron" on the Apple TV to watch with my kids. and neither the Apple TV nor my 2 Macs would download without the above error. When I tried to download 11 iphone apps updates on my Macbook Pro later that same day, I got the same error and everything was added to my "Available Downloads" queue for downloading later (the TV show and the 11 app updates). Now 8 days later I am up to 15 available downloads that I cannot get.
I am using Comcast cable internet and have had no disruptions, and it is downloading everything else at 7+ mbps with no problems. I can browse the iTunes Store, listen to previews, and occasionally I can even buy something new and it will often download fine. Prior to Dec 5th can't recall the last time a download from iTunes has failed. Since the 5th, IF the download fails then my "available downloads" queue gets bigger and bigger as the failed download is added to the queue. Any time I go to Itunes > Store > Check for available downloads I get the same message quoted above.
Somehow on Sunday the 6th I was able to download that one Zac Efron TV episode on the Apple TV (the purchase that started it all). I was also able to purchase a new album on my iMac Sunday and that downloaded fine. But when I did an iTunes Plus Upgrade of "Enya A Life in Music" with my iMac on Sunday it failed to download, and it was added to the download queue which wont download and I still can't get it.
In problem solving, I even added my iTunes account to my account on my son's Macbook and authorized it, and it was not able to download any of the "available downloads" by using "Check for Available Downloads". I also checked permissions of the itunes data folder and did the terminal command to change permissions that the apple support site suggested (even though permissions were fine). I even created a new iTunes folder on a new hard disk formatted for Mac, and had iTunes copy everything to the new hard drive (using the APPLE instructions for creating a new iTunes folder via iTunes preferences). I did that because my original iTunes folder was on an external MS DOS FAT format disk, even though that drive has been working fine for 3 years. I have done ALL of the trouble shooting tips that the Apple support site recommended.
Because the problem exists on a fresh macbook and after the trouble shooting, I believe the problem is with my account at iTunes, and I think that I need to have the "available downloads queue" reset to zero, and then have the Enya iTunes Plus upgrade added back in. I have no way to get Apple to do that or anything else for me, despite having spent hundreds of dollars, if not thousands on music, movies and TV Shows. I am baffled by their lack of response to my "Report a Problem".
I don't know what to do. I am now worried that every time I purchase something new, that if it doesn't download that I will never get it. I have some application updates that I can't download because iTunes tells me I "have already purchased this application but have not downloaded it yet." I have too much invested in my library to just go away. Can anyone please help!
(An added note - For many months or even years my iTunes account has always shown that I have 1 available download when I have none, but it has never failed to download purchases that are waiting for me. For instance if I had Greys Anatomy TV Show subscription ready to download the number of available downloads would say "2", and the TV show would download fine and the number of available downloads would drop to "1" again. Thus, I suspect there is a problem with my iTunes account, and not my computers or ATV. I reported this once to Apple and they did nothing about it, and I ignored it since it has never caused a problem.)This is bad - I have an Apple automated response that they got my report on 12/6, 12/10 and 12/14, and I haven't heard anything from them since the 6th when I got one reply that told me to do things I tried before reporting the problem. Between the 6th and 10th I replied to their response 4 times and they ignored me, forcing me to report a problem with two more items that wont download but getting no response.
How do they get away with this kind of behavior, especially for someone with FIVE Core 2 Duo macs and thousands of dollars of of iTunes store purchases? I'm getting really ******. -
i try run VS 2012 with /SafeMode. I create new empty Winform. When I start debug, I got:
"error while trying to run project uncaught exception thrown by method called through reflection"Hi Matanya Zac,
Did you restart your machine? How about installing the VS2012 update 4?
>>error while trying to run project uncaught exception thrown by method
Did you install the VS update in your VS IDE? I met this issue before which was related to the VS update:
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/5ead8ee9-ea09-4060-88b0-ee2e2044ff82/error-while-trying-to-run-a-project-uncaught-exception-thrown-by-method-called-through-reflection?forum=vsdebug
If still no help, I suggest you repair your VS, and then restart your machine, test the result.
Best Regards,
Jack

Hi Alex, Are you launching Visual Studio with administrative privileges? If not, you won’t be able to generate the .aex in certain protected folders because of a Windows security restriction.
Was this helpful? Yes No

Yes it works, thanks Note: For CS 5.5 Administrative privileges are not need, so thats only with visual studio 2010 and premiere cs6 where i need to run vs2010 as admin. -
Hi,
I have one user whose ZAC update just stops at the same point every time.
There are no errors being shown on either the client or the server. From
what I could figure out ZAC bootstrap updates files in batches. It may be
that it is opening (and not closing) more files than allowed by operating
system (I think I've seen that one before). But basically the symptom is
that the update just stops at the same point every time from any machine at
the that user's location (they have a pretty good pipe so the bandwidth
should not be a problem). It works fine for all other users.
Cheers,
IvanIvan,
I've spoken with our technical support folks and I asked that you give us
another try. Someone should be able to answer your ZAC questions when you
reconnect with them.
Thanks,
Michael

Some time ago I posted a couple of questions/wishes about ZAC andbasically
the response was that it is not going to get that much support. Well now I
think ZAC is no longer a existing functionality of WebLogic and my opinion
should be put into 'as-is' or 'use at your own risk' category. Since my
recent post about a problem I'm having with ZAC (see ZAC update freezes)was
unanswered (I totally understand that, a newsgroup is not the main support
venue) I went to the Customer Support and gave them a call. First it tookme
about five minutes to convince the rep that ZAC is a feature of WebLogicand
not a third party product since they have NEVER heard of it. Second, ittook
another three minutes to confirm that it is a WebLogic fetaure and when I
asked about when I should expect a callback I was told if I didn't receive
the call within a couple of days to call them again. Now, I filed the case
as a production level problem on top of it.
Conclusions:
1) DO NOT use ZAC as a PRODUCTION level deployment tool. IT IS NOT
SUPPORTED.
2) Lack of well trained, qualified, and timely support will be the causeof
shrinking WLS market share.
Meanwhile I'm going to dig in the archives...
Cheers,

dear all,
TVSU 4 can not run with messege at Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library dialog box :
Runtime error!
Programs: C:\Program Files\Lenovo\System Update\tvsu.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in unusual way. please contact the application's support team for more information.
what problem at my system? anyone have suggestion?
zac,Hi all,
I came here to research the same issue. Running tvsukernel directly works for me. I did not try the compatibility mode method. (Why having a 646KB binary to launch a 193KB binary is beyond me, but I am glad the direct run method works.)

Weblogic core dumps with "SIGBUS 10* bus error"
I am getting a core dump when starting up my WL server. It seems to be
timing related. The WL startup class is causing the error.
The error does not occur if I do not deploy any EJBs. If I deploy one EJB
the error occurrs. If I deploy two or more EJBs the error does not occur.
The startup class is accessing the database.
Has anyone seen a similar error or know of a solution. Is this a supported
platform?
Environment info and the error dump follow. Thanks in advance.

Abort (core dumped)Weblogic does not dump core. The Java virtual machine does.
As for your problem, I would be willing to bet that this is a 122_05a
JVM. I would recommend downgrading to the versions that we certify.
The platform support page for WebLogic Server is located at:
http://www.weblogic.com/docs51/platforms/index.html
This page has the latest and greatest information on the platforms that
WebLogic is certified and supported on.

RiyazBest bet is to use BEA support. They have access to the source code of the classes that are throwing the exception.

ThanksIn your client, when you look up the bean, the JNDI name should be "MyTrader",
not statelessSession.Client
Look at client.java in /examples/ejb/basic/statelessSession example,
In weblogic-ejb-jar.xml the jndi name is specified as follows:
<jndi-name>statelessSession.TraderHome</jndi-name>
and in the client program we look up the bean as follows:
JNDI_NAME=statelessSession.TraderHome
Object home = ctx.lookup(JNDI_NAME);
Make sure you are doing the same.

IPod Touch Help: iTunes error while restoring my iPod
So recently, my iPod had an issue where i could only hear my music out of one ear. I went to an Apple Store in Southern FL (where i was on vacation at the time) and they suggested trading it in.
When i got back to my home, i went to another Apple Store in my area and got a new refurbished iPod. Before I went however, I backed my iPod up. So afterwards, I tried to restore my new iPod to my old iPod's settings and it claimed the iPod was too old. So then I updated the iPod and restored it to factory settings. I got the original message again and clicked my old iPod's back-up. The window told me to put in my password and then continue, etc.
However, the iPod started to restore itself when it became incomplete. A window told me that there was an error and that it could not go through. Since that time, I have been re-trying and I have restarted my computer twice and restarted iTunes. Any ideas as to what I can do? Please help.Zac henderson wrote:
