ZOR order appearing on material doc created as result of post goods receipt

Hi friends
The user is creating ZRE return order with reference to ZOR order. Currently, they see ZOR order in the sales order field on the material document for good movement ( the post goods receipt for ZRE order)
The qty returned is tied to ZOR order not to the ZRE order. They want the returned qty to be tied to ZRE order. Kindly suggest the config to achieve this. Is it controlled via copy controls?
Your help will be appreciated.

Sreedhar

user is creating ZRE return order
   with reference to ZOR order.
It is a general procedure that we create a return order referencing the billing document and not the sale order.  I dont know why you were referring sale order to create a return order.
Next on your comments
qty returned is tied to ZOR order
   not to the ZRE order.
what do you mean by that ??  If I understood your requirement correctly, the rejected material stock should be reserved against return sale order.  Here again, normally if you post the goods receipt via VL01N, the respective quantity will be blocked for quality clearance.
Please elaborate clearly your requirement.

  • Material Document (Post goods receipt) for each Tranfer order in Inbound De

    Hello All,
We have following the below process for goods receipt.
    1. Create Purchase order.
    2. Create Inbound Delivery.
3.Create Transfer order for each line item in  Inbound Delivery
    4. Confirm tranfers orders.
    5. Post goods receipt will automatically takes place after last Transfer order confirmation for that delivery.
So, in the above scenario the Inventory is not available in the IM till last transfer order is confirmed.
So, is it  possible to create a Material Document at each transfer order confirmation and post IM inventory , instead of waiting till last transfer order is confirmed.
    please advice.
    Thank you
    T Reddy .

    Hello Aktar,
Yes With standard SAP we can post  goods receipt either before using MIGO and after using VL32N.
In our scenario we are using Inbound Delivery.
So , with using Inbound delivery we are posting goods receipt after  last TO confirmation.
But In our client they may take 2 days to puyawat all the items of an Inbound Delivery. So they do not want to wait till 2 days for the IM posting.
ie in SAP WM as soon as Inbound delivery is created it creates negative stock in 902 and once all the transfer order are confirmed and then post goods receipt takes place and 902 is cleared.
So, we are slitting the TO at delivery line item level and creating separate TO for each line item in a delivery.
So, I am wondering whether is there a way so as soon as first TO is confirmed WM stock updates and IM stock also should also update with same amount with a material docuement.
ie TO by TO IM posting should take place and at Last TO post goods receipt should happen at delivery level.
    Please advice.
    Thank you
    T Reddy.

  • Batch needs to be created 1st then post goods receipt with inbound delivery

    Hi,
We are having split valuated materials with batch managed, we need to post goods receipt with inbound delivery.
When we create inbound delivery with PO batch is blank which is correct.
Now when we try to post GR with IBD in VL32N we need to put batch, but we are getting error message as batch is not available in receiving plant.
In this case we have to create batch 1st with MSC1N and then we can put batch number in Vl32N and can post GR.
If material is not split valuated we can put batch manualy(Without creation in MSC1N) in VL32N and it is allowing to post GR with batch.
Can you please let me know this behaviour, is there any SAP note available about this behaviour.
    Thanks
    Sudhir

    Hi Uwe,
Can an inbound WHSCON IDoc used for doing both the goods receipt in the PO and the update of the message flow in the delivery?
The binary answer would be no. You should use WMMBXY or MBGMCR instead.
But if we are doing goods receipt against Inbound delivery then answer is YES with additionally E1EDL18-QUALF = 'PIC' populated. But please remember no partial receipt is possible against Inbound Delivery.
We should populate E1EDL20-VBELN with our Inbound delivery number and line item info should go to E1EDL24.
I have done a similar interface recently where we are doing receipt against Inbound delivery. But our case was a bit complex because we had to support against Inbound delivery. So we had to go for a custom solution on top of IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

  • Way to check who created PO and input the Goods Receipt?

    SAP Experts
A question to you all.  Is there a way/report/number of tables to validate which user ID create or changed a Purchase Order and if they also entered the Goods Receipt?  We want to be able to check this on a monthly basis as a management check.
    Thanks
    Denise

If you need report for the same then you can check ME2N - dynamic selection - drop down Purchasing document header - select Created by field and enter User ID(or list of User ids) for which you want to see POs created.
MIGO Display - Doc Info can give you the User who created.
If you want other way round then you can use tables as suggested above:
    EKKO for PO
    MKPF for MIGO
    RBKP for MIRO
    Thanks,
    Praveen.

  • Create serial number - asset from goods receipt

    Hi,
We configured the sync functionality between PM and AA, so when we create a serial number via transaction IQ01, the fixed asset master data is created automatically.  We also configured the serial number profile in the material master.  When we create a goods receipt (MIGO) the serial number data screen comes into place.  We save the GR document, and when we check the serial number data in PM this info is correct, but the synchronization between fixed asset didn't work it means, no asset master data is created.  Is there some missing configuration?  Even the tcode IQ01 works fine, why in this operation (MIGO) the configuration doesn't work ?
Any help on this topic we'll be very appreciated.

    Hi,
in customizing transaction OIS2 I'm using the serial number profile 0010 (Stock check) and in the serializing procedure Goods Receipt and Issue Doc (MMSL), the serialization usage is 03 and the equipment requirement is 02 (always with equipment).   When use MIGO for goods receipt I noticed that after the serial number creation (via tcode IQ03) some serial number mandatory fields have no value, like Company Code (BUKRS) and Cost Center (KOSTL), and other mandatory fields for the master records.  If I modify the serial number (tcode IQ02) and complete the mandatory fields, the synchronization work fine since the asset master record is created.   I'm suspecting that some of these fields (like company code) are necessary for the asset creation.  I checked the whole PM/AA/MM configuration for these fields to in some way, assign them the corresponding value taken from the goods receipt or material and give it to the serial number record for creation.  If you know something else please let me know.
    Thanks for your response.

  • Vendor slit material to smaller size. How to do Good receipt on new mat?

    Hi,
I need to raise a PO for slitting services to my vendor. We are providing material A to them.
Then, vendor will helps us to slit the Material A into smaller size of Material B.
    1. How is step on Good receipt? We are not receipt the Material A, but Material B
    2. Material A and Material B is different material type. Mat A is raw material, Mat B is semi finish goods.
Please suggest what is end to end process to perform?
    Thanks

    Create a BOM,Create a subcontracting P.O with material B as parent,material A as child.
Declare material as subcontracting in J1ID & also maintain assesable value if it is excisable.
Issue material to subcon. vendor using MB1B 541 Mvmt.
If it is excisable also create subcontracting challan using J1IF01 & print it.
    Receipt material B using MIGO.
    Reconcile receipt quantity using J1IFQ.
Do vendor invoice using MIRO for receipt qty.

  • Create PO related invoice - before goods receipt/confirmation

Hi all, sorry to ask this very basic question as our system is not working at the moment and I cannot test this out and have very little experience creating PO related invoice in SRM.
First of all, we are operating on SRM 4.  I would like to find out whether it is possible to create an invoice with reference to a PO before we create the goods receipt.
The reason why I ask this question is because I was reading up on the IMS functionality that is available from SRM 5 onwards and it listed the functionalities that are available that weren't in the earlier releases. One point mentioned was on the ability to receipt invoice prior to confirmation of goods receipt. I also read from the help document that we can enter invoice with reference to PO for which confirmations have already been entered or for which no confirmations are expected. There is no mention on situations when the confirmation is not done yet.
Appreciate your advice on the above.
    Cheers!
    SF

Sorry all, I think I am confusing everyone. May be it's because the question is too basic. There is nothing fancy with the PO here. It's a PO initiated from SRM with goods receipt and invoice receipt indicator turned on BUT NOT GR-BASED invoice indicator. I just want to know whether it is possible for me to create an invoice with reference to the PO in SRM if I have not yer done the goods receipt. If I do this in ECC/R3, the invoice would have been blocked (if tolerance allowed).
Even though I know that this should be possible in SRM but because some statements in the SAP help documentation sort of implies that it might not be the case and I do not want to assume it. Plus I have not worked with creating PO related invoices in SRM before and so just want to confirm that it is working. It doesn't help when I was trying to test this scenario in our own system that the system outputs a message relating to backend communication not working.
However, I finally got a chance to test this in another client' site and found that it is possible to create an invoice with reference to a PO even before the goods receipt is posted. Though I have yet to find out why I am getting a different error in our own system, I am happy for now that it is working.
    Thanks all for your reply!

  • Disable Customer-Material Number field during VL02n before post goods issue

    Hello SAP gurus,
I would like to ask the possibility of disabling the field "Customer Material Number' during outbound delivery creation.
As we would know, this field (LIPS-KDMAT) will only be disabled after post goods issue.
Will it be possible to disable the field without having to post goods issue first?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jayson

I think you can do with SHD0 screen variant, or else you need to go with userexit to make display field.

  • Create idoc DESADV when POST GOODS ISSUE

    Hi everybody!!
I have a problem and I donu2019t know how to solve it, my question is the following:
What can I do to make an outbound idoc type DELVRY03, message:
DESADV doesnu2019t go off until the outbound delivery getu2019s post it, with the fact of creating it going off.
    Thank for your comments.

    Hello There,
The functionnality you can use for your process is described in notes 340238 and 421276.
I am afraid that the process to create an inbound delivery via DELVRY-IDOC for a stock transfer is not possible as it´s not designed for this.
For the DELVRY-IDOC scenario for inbound deliverys the preceeding document has to be a SD document and not a MM document.
The DELVRY process is designed for purchase orders for your customer:
    e.g. CUSTOMER SIDE               YOUR SIDE
purchase order         - >        sales order
               ^
    Y
inbound delivery       < -        outbound delivery
The outbound delivery does not fill the purchase order number in the  IDOC as a check is looking for a SD document wich does not exist.
If you need the DELVRY process for stock transfer then you need a USER-EXIT or a modification in the outbound function module to fill the PO number and the purchase order item number in segment E1EDL41.
We only read out the PO number and the item number if the subsequent document on the vendor side was an sales order.
    I hope this helps,
    Elaine.

  • How to enter / Post Goods receipt of Raw Material from subcontractor

    Dear Experts,

  • Post goods receipt problem of customer returns material

    hi,
i have a problem while doing customer returns  in VL01N (PGR).system displays error msg.
    E VL 171
Status of inpection lot xxxxxxx / partial lot 00000 does not allow goods issue.
Material having inspection set up on material master with inspection type-06
can u tell me how to solve this.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi prakash
In MMR i think you must have assigned a quality inspection as 06 . so at the time doing delivery , and before PGI , quality inspection took place. Now when you are doing PGR , i think you just check the goods insepction data at item level in delivery data . and  remove that quality inspection  06 and then  save it . then only PGR will happen .
Because you have assigned qualtiy inspection in MMR , system is checking , wheather the goods are good or not .that could be one of the reason it is not doing PGR, if u remove that 06 which is goods inspection then PGR will be done , then you can proceed further
Prakash if you have done in adifferent way plz share with us and if it got solved also plz let us know
    Reward if useful

  • Post Goods Receipt(PGI) with custom condition types on purchase order(PO)

    Hi all,
I am trying to post goods receipt with custom conditions on the PO. One of the custom conditions is freight (delivery cost). The value on this condition will post to a different G/L account (freight provision account, rather than GR/IR).
My problem is, when posting this GR, the cost center assigned in the PO under 'account assignment' is not used for posting the custom condition, which I really need it to happen.
Simply put, I want all postings from this PO inherit values in 'account assignment'.
I have been looking into configurations in automatic posting and condition types, but I still have no clue where I can make it happen. Do I have to use BADI?
    Thanks.

Delivey cost condition will be posted to accrual accounts not to the cost center.

  • Posting goods receipt for the Purchase order

Storage bin 002 100 STBIN1 blocked because of current inventory
    what does this message mean?

    Hi,
In simple terms the stock in this bin is currently in the process of being counted.
Get them to either post the count or cancel it, you cannot carry out any movements until this has been done.

  • Fields under the tab Goods Receipt in process order.

    Hello Experts,
While creation of process order, the fields under the tab 'Goods Receipt' are disabled and already checked.
Fields are 'Goods Receipt' and 'Goods Receipt, Non-Valuated'. Fields are 'WEPOS' and 'WEUNB' accordingly.
Whereas when we create the process order of same material but with different plant, the field 'Goods Receipt, Non-Valuated' is disabled and checked and other field 'Goods Receipt' is enabled.
    The material is finished product.
Could you please guide us, is there any configuration in order type dependent parameters for the same.
    Many Thanks in advacne.

    Hi Niki
For Financial books, MBEW-STPRS would suffice....
This would also generate a CO doc...
But, if you want to anlayse variances in CO, then you need a break up of STPRS i.e. Itemization which is calculated from CK11N and stored in MBEW-LPLPR
