ZSAPMV45A copy of sapmv45A giving run time error

Hi ABAPERs
I copied standard program sapmv45A (trx va31) to zsapmv45A to make few changes according to user requirement. I copied all screens as well as includes . Now when I execute this zprogram it gives me a run time error : The current ABAP program "SAPMV45A" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
The system attempted to use dynpro 0000 in program "SAPMV45A".                                |
This dynpro does not exist.

I don't think it was a good idea to copy that program.
All screens to be called are managed centrally (see fm SCREEN_SEQUENCE_CONTROL), the setting is done by transaction VFBS.
So I can suppose the setting still calls the screen of SAPMV45A.
Also you should considere if you're in release ecc 6.00 you can risk to lose all standard enhancement of SAPMV45A, because they assigned to the program, so they can't be copied in a new program.
So probably the best solution is to create an implicit enhancement or (if you can't do it) to change the standard program.

Query giving run time error.

There is a query which is giving runtime error as time limit exceeded. This query is based on an infoset which is based on 4 ODS's.
Is there any way we can do performance tuning for this query?

Can you please tell me which option to select for the infoset query as i'm seeing a lot of options on the left hand side of the screen like master Data, Transaction data, ODS objects,PSA tables etc for the RSRV transaction?
Also to add-on from my first post...this particular query is executing for an hour after which the error message comes an "System Failue, Time limit exceeded".

ALV grid list giving run time error

after lot of struggle , i over come by previous issue .
but now another is coming . i.e.

from the above issue i can see that you populated the fieldcatalog wrong . some where you made the mistake.

While processing MB51 Transation system is giving run time Error.

While processing T code MB51 system getting data, if i clicking detail list in MB51 system has given below dump message.
A RAISE statement in the program "CL_GUI_ALV_GRID===============CP" raised the

Run time error while closing the CRM Order using BAPI

Hi Experts,
Need your invaluable suggestions here.Apologies for the lengthy mail, intention is to give clear idea of the issue.
I am facing an issue while closing the CRM orders. According to our business process, when an issue is solved we will keep the order in resolved status only. We will not directly close the order from the CRM tool, instead we have created a custom program for the same purpose.
For the custom program we will give input as the order number and execute it, this will close the order.
Here close the order means assigning it to Close status as well assign the reason code.
We have created some reason codes for closed status.
So when the program is run the Order moves from resolved status to closed status along with reason code.
But of late we are facing some problems with this program, it is giving run time error for some CRM orders.
Run time error message : The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was not caught in procedure "CRM_SERVICE_OS_UPD_OST_DU" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.

When I analyzed the run time error I have found that it trying to insert the record in CRMD_SRV_OSSET for that CRM order, but already one record is present in the table for the same CRM order number.
For most of the CRM orders there is no entry in this table so they are closing successfully but for a few orders for which there is an entry we are getting the above run time error.
There is nothing wrong with the orders which have an entry already in the table CRMD_SRV_OSSET, I need to close these kind of orders with out run time error.

Hi,
As mentioned in the note 939383 , either Import Support Package 08 for SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BI Patch08 or SAPKW70008) into your BI system or do correction instructions given in the note.
It is always better to import the latest patches avialble in service market to avoid this type of problems.
Also see tha note 1010672 amd check whether it is applicable to your problem.

Run-time error in S_ALR_87013611

Hi,
Recently we have just upgraded to ECC6.0. One of the reports S_ALR_87013611 is giving run-time errors (unable to set linestyle property) when downloading to Excel using office integration option. We are using Excel 2003 SP3. Surprisingly, this report works on some PC but not on others. All the PCs are setup the same way and using the same application version.

Getting run time errors while executing the copied SAP programs

i want to copy an sap program.after coping i need to change some coding there.then i have to create a new transaction for that.
i am just copying the sap program RQEEAL10(transaction-QA32) to Z_RQEEAL10. it has 4 include programs.i am copying them to z programs like
RQ00MF10 copied to z_RQ00MF10
RQALVF14 copied to z_RQALVF14
RQALVF16 copied to z_RQALVF16
RQALVTOP copied to z_RQALVTOP.
now i am executing that program Z_RQEEAL10.but i am getting run time errors as given below.
runtime error---

The termination occurred in line 257 of the source code of the (Include)
program "RQALVF16"
of the source code of program "RQALVF16" (when calling the editor 2570).

the line index. An index less than or equal to zero is not
allowed.
The error can occur when using the following options:
1. "INDEX idx" for specifying the line number in the table

 where you want to change, insert or delete.
2. "FROM idx" for specifying the start index when deleting a line

I will give you one more check point where you have to give your concentration while copying the standard programs....
Call Customer-Function (Function Exists) if any in the Program when copied will not get executed. Instead you need to call the FM Directly.

You are likely to have some problems with the text-elements and translation that may have been maintained for the original report.

Run-Time Error '6' Overflow within BEx Analyzer after copy/paste query

Hi all,
User is getting a "Run-time error '6' overflow" message which is caused after copying any query in a 'query pack' to any free row/column within the same sheet (BEx Analyzer). This "query pack" has multiple queries within one sheet and covers 1800 rows so there is enough free space left for copying one of the queries to another position in the same sheet.
Microsoft Office Excel SP2 is used which is part of MS Office professional edition 2003. The BW version is 3.0.
Please let me know if more details are required or above mentioned error message is recognized and can be explained.

This error is caused whenever there is memory issue. If your query is built on a cube which has a BWA index then this problem can be related to the issue with the BWA server. Check your BASIS team to check if there is memory issue presently in the BWA server.
Sometimes the issue is temporary, where the several users accesing the reports to fetch data from BWA lead to this type of error as the BWA gets overloaded. Try exiting the report and run it after some time again.
Alternatively you can also try restricitng the selection for fetching the data in the report as suggested.

Run-time Error '429' when copying queries from one userid to a new userid

Hello,
One of the users is having an issue when copying queries from an old user id to a new user id.
She is getting the visual basic run-time error '429' - active x component can't create object while copying.
This is not consistent. From what I can tell, this does not appear to be a bex query designer issue but something in microsoft.
Please let me know either way. I have found minimal posts on this issue. Most that I have found are outside the sdn forum and talk about registry issues?

According to your error message, your onClick function declaration line closes the parenthesis twice... you may have a typo in what you actually put in the file versus what you think you put...

I can't get my itunes to update it keeps giving me a run time error but every time it tells me to uninstall and reinstall I keep getting the same error.

I keep trying to update itunes but it gives me a run time error and tells me to uninstall and then reinstall. It is driving me crazy. Any suggestions?

Hi, I had this problem too and Barton (bless you) has said
1. go to C:\ programe files(x86) itunes & c:programesfiles/itunes. look for all .dll iles
2. QT movie.DLL ( I didn't have this file) and all .dll files. and move to the desk top.
I did any file that had a .dll after it.
3. reboot your computer.
4. Uninstall Itunes and anything that is related with Apple. eg Quicktime,Bonjour. what ever says Apple is the publisher.
5. Reboot computer
6. go to Itunes and down load again.
This fixed my computer and it took me 3 days until a remote assistant guys that I used for another problem told me to go on community Itunes.
I tried a few of the suggestions but had trouble following but this is pretty simple even for me.
