Accessing a device property

Greetings! I am using two different USB devices as virtual com ports. I would like to be able to see in LV the model names that come up under Windows' Device Manager window, so I can tell which device is currently connected.
I've attached a JPG showing the two USB devices (at the bottom). You can see the currently highlighted device lists the model name as "FT232R USB UART". The other device model name will show "USB <> Serial Converter". However, when I go to MAX and look at all the COM port attribute listing, I don't see the model name anywhere. How do I access the model name in LV?
(Currently using Win7 and LV 2010).

I've put in a property node that's looking at the system API, like you have in your example. However I don't see "Vendor Name" as an option in the list of properties. Is that a property that's not available in LV 2010? I'll try "ProdName" and see if that will do the job.

Depending on the available screen size, I want to display 1 or more images in a J2ME application.
This is required because a user can select a different device just before running the application/ can execute the J2ME application on different devices with different width and height.

so assuming that you had a class that implements any displayable(canvas,screen or whatever) u can just fetch the screenwidth and screenheight of the phone,no need to access device property file which i think u cannot(plz confirn it with other developers tooo)

Hi all.
I've installed:
Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2 for CLDC
Java Platform Micro Edition Software Development Kit 3.0 Early Access ( i suposed that it isn't necessarly)
JDK 6 Update 13
NetBeans IDE 6.5.1 (All)
After instalation i run WTK - > open sample project -> run and get this:

Project is building without problems but i can't run it ;/ In NetBeans i have similiar problem i can't run sample projects because i have this:

I've re-installed everything many times without windows :) I tried to search solutions for that but i couldn't find anything usefull.

i have of course more partitions and WTK, NetBeans, ME SDK 3.0 are installed on other than C: but JDK is installed on C: in program files where in path is space. It has any meaning?

Did you figure this out? I've got exactly the same problem. Same error that is getting reported. The resource missing is the AMConfig.properties file which is required for the Access Manager Policy agent. Agent doesn't work until I get the WebSphere config correct.

Why am I getting "Error: Access of undefined property TextInputSkin." and "Error: Definition spark.skins.mobile:TextInputSkin could not be found." errors?

I'm using amxmlc to build a SWF from an MXML source code file. I'm passing -swf-version=13 to amxmlc.
In the MXML source, I have the following line:

I get these errors when running the amxmlc command:

I am getting an error while coding between CS5 and Flash CC specifically: Access of undefined property instrument_txt. I am using a book that is made for CS5. Is there a current book or resources for Actionscript 3.0 and Flash CC?

I did try this and nothing happened, same error codes. The code works fine from CS5 and CS6 Flash versions. The animation runs well, the text displays where it should in the instrument_txt frame. It is when I try this in Flash CC that it creates the code error. here was an error that came up regarding text problems, something with FLT text converted to another text (I am not sure of the name of the text-type and the "FLT" I am not sure of either).

VPN Connects but unable to access internal devices

Thank you in advance for any assistance that can be provided.
I am using AnyConnect to create a VPN with an ASA 5505. Once connected, the client needs to access a device behind a 1941 router.
Internally, (not using VPN), all my routing is working correctly. My VPN client can connect and when I put a route on my 1941 router, I am able to ping that particular device. But my VPN client cannot appear to ping anything else, either the devices on the same internal range as the ASA 5505 or anything past the 1941.

I was adding another on to our tennis page. I just copied the flash files to my tennis folders and renamed everything tennis instead of football including the buttons like you can see on the right side of the page in the photo.
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with me renaming the button, because I never changed anything in the code except replacing the word football to tennis in every spot. and renamed my buttons to tennis instead of football.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Javascripts
Now to rotate the pages clockwise attach this code to your button (in Acrobat, of course):

Open your file in Reader and the buttons should rotate the pages when clicked...

ASA Cannot access https device via Clientless VPN bookmark, site to site works fine

We've got two offices connected via an IPSEC tunnel. This site to site VPN works great, we can access our remote devices fine from a PC on either LAN at each office. The device's address is https://192.168.210.2
However, if we make a bookmark on the Clientless VPN for that same address the conneciton just times out if it has to go over the site to site VPN.
We plugged the exact same web enabled device on the local side of the VPN, put in a bookmark for its https address and it works fine. Its just remote bookmarks for devices on the other side of the tunnel do not work.
Looking at the debug log I see the request going out from the source to the destination on port 443 but nothing more. The NAT exemption etc are all right because people on the LAN have no problem accessing this device remotely with their browser.
I haven't been able to adequately describe this problem to find a matching Cisco example, anyone know how to fix this?

thank you for your reply. we've checked the smoothwall configuration, but couldn't discover anything which could cause this problem. we even tried replacing the sa520 with a draytek vigor router to set up an lan-to-lan vpn with the smoothwall. with the draytek in place we have no problems accessing the aforementioned servers, so it seems the issue is with the SA520.
what exactly do you mean by creating an ACL from the remote WAN to our LAN? i assumed you meant creating a firewall rule, allowing traffic from the remote device's public ip to our LAN. however, in that case i need to enter an ip address of a device in our LAN, or else i cannot save this rule. as a test i entered the ip address of my machine as the destination address, but am still unable to access the aforementioned servers.
here's how i set up the rule:
from zone: UNSECURE (WAN/optional WAN)
to zone: LAN
service: ANY
action: ALLOW always
schedule: (not set)
source hosts: Single address
from: public ip of one of the aforementioned servers

I used the following method to view pdf OLE Object Control -> Insert Control -> Then I select Adobe pdf reader. After that I wrote the following script in the open event of the form

Getting the very lovely 1120: Access of undefined property...

Hi Guys n Gals,
I’m getting the "1120: Access of undefined property texttwo_mc." error I've done this code before and no issue.
What I’m doing is simple, click a button and it will go to a movie clip within a movie clip to start the label named "_go", and this error accrued. The MC I’m calling is on the beginning of the timeline.

BTW for some odd reason my SWF keeps deleting it self, thats on 2 differnt PC's ones CS5 and CS4.

Ok ill be as detailed as possible.:
In the main stage I have a MC with a instance name of texttwo_mc, within that i have a mocvie clip "about button" that acts like a button and its on 5 on the timeline.
The "about button" is not viable till timeline 5 but there's a stop on timeline 1 and it goes to timeline 5 (to make itself viable) when its told to in action scripting. And there's a button on the main stage that makes it go from 1 to 5 in action scripting.
and thats where the eror is.
BTW the "about button" is on timeline 1..just not viable till 5.

Controlled Access to device password - How do I disable it?

Really hoping someone can help,
I set up the controlled access to device password, however earlier today it rejected the password even though I had entered it correctly. On the last attempt it told me that failure would wipe device of all data! My network provider told me that if I entered it wrong on a final attempt it would wipe and block the phone and the only way to have phone unblocked would be to have it sent away! As a few hours had passed and I was unable to use the phone I took the chance of entering the password again and it worked.
However, when I went to disable the password it would not allow me to!
Is there any way to disable it as I mostly use my phone for business I can not afford to have it blocked and/or wiped!

Doesn't sound like it. Your employer has put that in place. You can change the password, but you cannot remove it.
