Add new elements to Standard Task description of INVOICE in PFTC

i would kindly ask for help as i am a WF beginner learning on fly.
There is a standard task 40008005 SRM_IV_APPR1 with text and fields (Description) displayed:
"You are responsible for the approval of &BOR_OBJECT.DOCUMENTTYPENAME& Number &BOR_OBJECT.OBJECT_ID&. You can switch to  &BOR_OBJECT.DOCUMENTTYPENAME& to check the document and then approve or reject it.
Supplier Invoice Number:  &BOR_OBJECT.REFERENCE&
Invoice Description:           &BOR_OBJECT.BUSTRANSDESCRIPTN&
Gross Invoice Amount:      &BOR_OBJECT.GROSSINVOICEAMOUNT&

We need to add a list of items of the current invoice with following fields:
Supplier:
Line Item - Description - Cost Type - Cost center - Project Code - Payment Type - VAT Code - Base Country

Could you give me a hint how and where to start?
Buss. Object BUS2205 has a method GETDETAIL0 implemented which retrieves the item list, accounts and partners, but how to get this info to elements?

Thanks for your answer. My problem is to add some new fields - not content of the container so far.
Of course I can add some fields now but how could I manage to fill them with information ?
Is there a Badi for this reason ?
My Problem is - My customer wants to have more informations in the workitem text. But this informations are noch content of
the container so far.
Would it be enough - to increase the BUS2205 and implement the procedure to find the data und then add them to the container ?

  • Can't add new element to model node from web service

    Hi Folks,
    we are using the old WebService (not adaptive one) for calling a service on XI. We are reusing the same service for loading the data and also sending them back to the backend to modify, delete or add new elements. Request and response tree structure consist basically of the same structure.
    Now everything works fine so far except adding a new element to the model tree.
    So what are we doing:
    After calling the service for reading (and invalidate on the response), we copy the received data from response node into the request node. All the view forms are bound to the model elements in the request.
    Modifying single attributes worked just fine (from dialog and programatically). A new element we add to the model tree shows up in the dialog and seems to work equally fine, but when we trigger the service call to send the collected data, every change to the model data is send except the new added element. It just won't be send.
    What's the problem here? Seems to me this must be somehow related to the supplying relation role maybe.
    What code do you need to look at and how do I mark code in the new forum editor so it gets displayed properly formatted?

    You need to copy the std report and make necessary changes in the copied report. SAP does not allow changes to std report. The technical details of the report can be seen by selecting from the menu Extras - technical information. Select the library and Report name. Copy the same using t code GRR1. Carry out necessary changes and SAVE. Before execution, you will have to specify the report group in which report needs to be attached. You can choose and existing group or specify a new one.

    Pavan,
    My understanding is that the Actions tab is used to execute scripting.  Some of the scripting is embedded in the system, like Create RFx or Create Auction.  This you can not change easily. 
    If you want to add a new item to the Actions for Projects create a Script Definition with Script Type: Toolbar and Class: Project (1100).  Keep in mind that you will also have to have a functioning Script Definiton.

    then I am choosing a particular Icon, and its corresponding code comes in the editor, <718> in this case.
    But the output does not show any Icon.

    Task has been transported from develpment client to another client for integration testing.
    in the shopping cart advice product has been created by the employee.
    then it goes to advisor for the approval
    This has been done by the workflow.
    It is implemented in both dutch and english.
    English - it is working fine.
    Dutch - the task is not defined.(the code is missing)
    after transporting , we did changes in the task created for implementing this approval description.
    It was working fine in both dutch and english.
    But the corrections in the code are there....
    only in the output After transported to another client dutch part approval description is not correct some part of it are missing
    Is the problem related to the transport or with the modifications of task defined ??
    Can anyone suggest me how to solve this problem.

  • I updated the default task.eddmod edd doc to add new elements to my catalog. How do I have the new element appear on FM application?

    After updating the default task.eddmod.edd document, I have:
    Created a dtd from the updated edd.
    Opened Structure Tools > Structure Application Designer. Selected existing application (dita_1.2_task), selected my updated edd, dtd, and task.template, and saved it.
    The new elements I created in the edd appear in my application now.
    Do I need to create a dtd and update the structure application designer every time I update my edds?

    It looks like you've got two posts with the same question (in the structured forum) .. I'm just replying to this one.
    When you update an EDD you must always import that EDD into the associated template. The structured application only references the template, so changing the EDD will have no effect until you import that into the template.
    I have no idea how the Structure Application Designer works, so can't speak to that, but I'm sure the fundamental relationship of EDD to template still applies. If your EDD changes affect the model itself (adding/removing elements or attributes), you'll need to modify the associated DTD as well. Keep in mind that you can't just change the DITA DTDs and expect the result to be DITA compliant. There are rules about how to make these changes by "specializing" the model. If you change the model it may work for you in FM, but it may not work when you try to process or edit with other DITA-compliant tools.
    One other thing to keep in mind is that if your change is something that you'd expect to be available in other topic types (other than "task"), you'll need to make the same edits to the other topic structure applications.

    Now i want to add new custom fields apart from standard; when i create new tasks i want fill this new fields and after, display this fields in the UWL.
    Can you please let me know how to add our own fields in the collaborations tasks rooms ?

    I have a Figure class which has many attributes(variables). Then I create an array of Figures for example
    Figs[] figures = new Figure[18];
    Later I need to add new Figures to this array at different positions. In my case I have to use the same array.
    Is there any way so I can add new Figure elements to this array??

    There are many ways to solve this problem, including creating new arrays as needed, and using System.arraycopy() to move things around. However, the best way is to use ArrayList, as discussed above.
    What you cannot do is use toArray() and cast back to String[]. Object[] is not a subclass of String[], even if all of the objects in the Object[] are Strings!
    There are two ways to get around this. Create a String[] and copy the Object[] into it with System.arraycopy, or the easy way, which is to use the toArray(Object[]) method. It allows you to specify by example the array class you wish returned. If the array is large enough, it will populate the array directly, otherwise it will create a new one of the same base class. That means any of the following approaches will work, the final decision is mostly a matter of style:
        // create a zero length array to pass as an exemplar
        public final static String STRING_ARRAY_TYPE[]  new String[0];
        String s[] = (String[]) a.toArray(STRING_ARRAY_TYPE);Or:
        String t[] = new String[a.size()];
        a.toArray(t);Or:
        String t[] = a.toArray(new String[a.size()]);;I prefer the first approach generally, and it avoids any race conditions between the evaluation of the ArrayList size and the toArray; however, since ArrayList methods are not synchronized, you probably should do some synchronizing of your own.

    Hi Manish,
    You cann't add any new fields into any of the standard segments like E1EDL44 segment.
    Inorder to achieve this you need to do the following:-
    Create a new segment and with the new fields and this new segment should be added as a child segment to the E1EDL44 segment.  You need to write a piece of code to populate that new segment in the userexit.  You should create a extension for your basic type DELVRY03.  This way you can achieve this scenario.

  • Urgent..Unable to add new columns to Standard region.

    Requirement :
    Create new columns (DFF columns) in a region(display-only) on the confirmation page of iExpenses.
    Options Tried:
    Personalize the Region:
    - The VO object did not have the DFF columns, so modified the standard VO. I was able to see the new fields through "About this page"
    - But the region does not have "Create Item" Link.
    Why am I not getting this link? How do I enable it?
    Modifying the Region:
    Modified the standard Region and did an XML Import. But the new fields are not showing up. Even when I do a jdr_util.PrintDocument, the new fields are not showing up in the XML definition.
    Has anybody faced a similar situation/have an idea to solve this issue, please advice. Any new approach is also welcome.

    Why am I not getting this link? How do I enable it?
    Create item is enabled only for Site and Function level personalizations. Once you navigate in to personalization tool choose the context to Site and you should get Create Item Icon against the regions. Also make sure to click on Complete View button to enable all the regions.
    Modified the standard Region and did an XML Import. But the new fields are not showing up. Even when I do a jdr_util.PrintDocument, the new fields are not showing up in the XML definition.
    You should not be doing this, you should use personalization to add new items. Why the items not showing up even if you modify the standard region, you might have imported the file in a wrong package structure.

    Field ZZRFKIMG cannot be selected because of unit field VRKME -> see long text

    Diagnosis
    Field ZZRFKIMG cannot be transferred, since its unit field VRKME is either not in the communication structure, or was purposefully excluded from the selection.
    Procedure
    If you have chosen your own field, you must also create a user-defined unit field in the append and use it accordingly.
    How can I resolve it.

    My Understanding is that if the field is available in the Pool in LBWE then no need to enhance the datasource.
    In my case the field is available in LBWE though it is ZFIELD (ZZRFKLMG and ZZNETPRC).
    In RSA6 I added the this unit
    ZZMEINS     MEINS     UNIT                                                                           Base Unit of Measure
    ZZWAERK     WAERK     CUKY                                                                           SD Document Currency
    I went back to LBWE and try to add the following Zfieds (ZZRFKLMG and ZZNETPRC) and the error is same.
    Now I try to add the the field directly in the append structure * ZZMC05Q02ITM* but its asking to maintain the ref table and ref field.
    I added ZZMC05Q02ITM as ref table and ZZRFKLMG as ref unit and  I still get errors.
    I am are that if I maintain it in RSA6 then I need to write user exit in CMOD but since it is available in LBWE I want to get it from the pool.
    I have tried this and there was no errors during activation
    ZZRFKLMG     ZZRQE_RFKLMG     QUAN     QMFE     ZZMEINS     Notification quantity in base units
    I gave the table name and Unit.
    Despite adding it, I still get data even though I did not used LBWE pool.
