Anyone with ULRASOUNDS PROBLEMS?

I have a K8T Neo2 FIR system with an Athlon 64 3000+, graphic card Gigabyte Radeon 9550 128 MB 128 bits, 2x512 MB Kingmax DDR memory
a NEC 3500 DVD writer and a floppy.
I dont' mention the HD's and the power supply because I ruled them out as the problem - monitor too, by trying other models.
My problem is that the system seems to produce very srong ultrasounds, creating an unpleasant sensation of pressure in my temples after a while, and even a kind of "burning" sensation deep inside my nose.
Did anybody have similar problems with their K8T Neo2 motherboards.
Any other info about ultrasounds on PC's appreciated.

No but that is notr to say any MB can not have that problem even if others don't get it. Did you check to see if the HS on the chipset was rattling that MSI logo platye or touch the coils with a ruibber eraser off a pencle to see if you can isolate what uis making the noise? Be careful with the eraser as you don't want to touch anything with the metal eraser holder.

I have the same issue, to temporarily fix it go to Settings > General > Restart. When it restarts the movie should play. You have to do this for each movie for the most part.

Caller Can't Hear Me - Anyone with this problem?

I originally got my iPhone 3G last December 2008. It was working fine, though I noticed that after a couple of months, that it had a hairline crack near the headphone jack. Phone was still working, but I decided to bring it to the Apple Store here in Singapore (Singtel) last November 9, 2009. They replaced the phone right away with the note "Hairline Crack" on the receipt.
After two weeks, I had a problem where I couldn't hear the person on the other line unless I used the headphones or put it on speaker mode. When you don't have the headphones plugged in and try to change the ringer volume, the phone will just display "Ringer (Headphones)". I tried plugging & unplugging the headphones, and even restoring, resetting, and it was still not working. One trick I found was that if I went to the Settings > Sound option, then try to change the volume of the ringer, it would work for a couple of calls where I can make a call without going on speaker mode or using my headphones. This was getting too troublesome.
I went to the Apple Store (Singtel) again today, December 5, 2009, and they replaced the phone. Note on the receipt this time was: "Headphone Mode". Fine by me, as long as I don't have to come back again. I went back home, trusting that the replacement would be good. Guess what? Now I have a new problem! I can only make calls using the headphones! This time, I can make calls and hear perfectly, but the person in the other line can't hear me. Voice memo does not recognize any voice inputs. I have tried resetting, restoring, to no avail.
Anyone having this problem? Any suggestions on what else to do?
My patience is running out. Apple, don't disappoint me. I don't want workarounds or a badly refurbished product. I just want a working phone.

I had the problem up until today. There is a hardware problem with the iPhone internal microphone. I went to the Apple store in Barcelona and they gave me a brand new iPhone. I couldn't hear anything (except message tones, iPod music etc...) it was sooooo frustrating.
Anyway, contact Apple, they'll happily provide you with a new iPhone!

PSE11-Anyone with Printing Problems Please comment

I earlier reported a problem with profiles with the new PSE11 and Mac OSx 10.7.5. See my previous threads.
The printing paths in PSE11 have changed. My problem occurs only on the first print every time I start up the application.
I am trying to diagnose the problem to approach Adobe with more information.
So any issues with how it works differently/incorrectly compared to other versions please comment. Even if you have to work out a bypass.

I am having a similar problem. Have you made any progress toward a soloution?
After many emails back and forth and then an hour and a half on the phone with Epson support they determined my problem is a PSE 11 glitch and suggested I try some forums and keep them posted! Here is the problem. I recently upgraded from PSE 8 to 11 and upgraded my Mac OS to 10.6.8. I have been printing from PSE 4 as I got better results from 4 than from 8. My printer is an Epson R1800. When I launch PSE 11 and print an image it comes out terrific. BUT if I want to print a second image, or even the original image a second time it is terrible. I set the "color setting" option to "Epson vivid" on the print menu. That option is greyed out after the 1st image is printed. Doesn't matter if Elements manages color or if printer manages color. One good print and then I have to close PSE 11 and relaunch to get another print. Epson is suggesting that PSE is not “releasing” after the 1st print???

Fan starts running after 15 minutes very noisy. anyone with similar problems?

The fan starts after 15 to 20 minutes working with the MBair. Doe not stop. And it is quite noisy and disturbing. Anyone with a solution?

Believe me this is nothing unusual the F10 is a notebook with a strong GPU and CPU. These parts produce a lot of warmness and this must be cooled!
Please dont compare mobile notebooks fans with the Qosmio. The Qosmio notebook properties are similar to a desktop PC and in my eyes an desktop PC is much louder as the F10

Anyone with Omnisphere problems

I've recently installed (and updated) Spectrasonics Omnisphere. I installed it to an external drive and although it appears to be working correctly there are a couple of issues I'm having that haven't been resolved by Spectrasonics yet. You keep having to push then for a reply. My issues are:-
1. When I use a multi stacked instrument with an arpeggiator in the patch it all appears to work correctly. If I then close logic down and later start it up again, then load the same song up again, the patches all load but the patch with the arpeggiator in it is silent. I have checked on the ARP window of Omnisphere and the velocity settings have all been reset to zero. I can recall them by clicking on the first part of the arpeggiator (ie turn that note off) then clicking on it again (turning it on) and all the velocity settings then reset to their correct values. Spectrasonics have stated this shouldn't be happening and I've sent them an example but I'm still waiting for a reply. Has anyone else experienced this???
2. Also when opening up Track Automation on Omnisphere the only settings showing are Level 1-8 then just the numbers 10-127. Anyone else noticed this?
3. Lastly I'm not sure if this is related or not but the Klopfgeist sound seems to have been affected by installing Omnisphere as it shows its playing but no sound is heard, although the output VU's on the channel strip and on the main outputs show an output.

I've got a different problem and can't seem to figure this one out:
Load up the Multi: "Aerophonica"
Next you'll see three patches that comprise that Multi:
1) Aerophonic Steps
2) Angelos Tube
3) Pop Female Ahs
Problem is, there's just no "Aerophonic Steps" to be found in the Patch Browser. Same thing for "Angelos Tube". There's an "Angelo Tube String", just not the exact "Angelos Tube". Same applies for the "Pop Female Ahs".
No where, and I've searched right down to the sound source browser, can I find these exact patches. Yes, I have "All" selected in all Directories, Catagories, Genre, Complexity, Author. Yes I refreshed. Yes I re-installed the whole soundsource.db's from the DVD's, yes I installed the latest updates, again tonight, but to no avail.
I'm asking this because, even though they do indeed play just fine, I want to make sure my patches aren't broken. This same phenomenon applies to almost every (but not all) Multi that I load. Most of the time, I can't seem to find the individual patches (more precisely - their exact names) that are displayed in the multi's patch browser section, or any browser, even after a search.
Sometimes the exact name shows up in the SoundSource (even though it's showing up in the Patch Browser) And sometimes even more rarely, it does show up in the Patch Browser as it's displayed in the Multi strip, but usually they just can't be found.
I must be missing something right? Is anyone else seeing this?

Afraid to install update; anyone with NO problems?

Hate to sound like such a fraidy cat, but having read all the posts reporting serious issues after installing the latest update (I guess it's 10.4.9 since I'm running 10.4.8 and am getting update notices via Software Update), I'm hesitant to install it!
Is there anyone out there with an iBook like mine (G4, 1.42 Ghz) who has installed the update withOUT problems?

IMO, checking your boot volume for any directory errors via Disk First Aid repair via Disk Utility when booted from your Tiger install disc is more important than repairing disk permissions beforehand.
I've installed every major OS update when released with Jaguar, Panther and now Tiger without repairing disk permissions beforehand without a single problem but I always check my boot volume for any directory errors with Disk First Aid repair beforehand.
After using the Migration Assistant with my PB when new 1&1/2 years ago, Software Update indicated there was a major OS update available along with some additional updates. Although my PB was brand new and had not been on for more than an hour, I ran Disk First Aid repair on my boot volume before installing the available updates. Lo and behold there were some directory problems that were successfully repaired. I venture to say that I probably would have experienced some sort of problem after installing the updates had I not done so. As always, I didn't repair disk permissions beforehand and the updates were installed without any problems.
I usually repair disk permissions afterwards which is where any problems with permissions can turn up.

I recently updated to the OS X Maverick and the keyboard just stopped functioning after working fine the first day. Pressing any key just produces a ding, but no mark. Pressing the return key produces a black dot as if you were putting in a confidential password. Has anyone had a similar problem and a possible solution? Thanks. mj-t

I am having the same problem and its not on every call, its very hit or miss, but very aggrovating. The screen just goes black and the home key nor the power button on top have any affect. Then the locked screen will show but you can't unlock the phone. I have to let it sit for a minute and then I can push the home button and go on in and the call is finally disconnected.

Update to PS CC 2014 all updated ok, opening image in camera raw if I use any sliders/panels it just freezes the raw module. Anyone with similar problem/solution?

Any solutions/fixes. Photoshop itself it's fully functional apart from the raw opening problem. I did have 8.5rc installed, raw does seem to have updated as I now have PS CC (non 2014 version) fully functional. I have already tried a new download and re install of 2014 to no avail. Also tried a download of the separate raw module, no fix either.

Ok, so this is actually a Wacom driver problem( I'm using Intuos 4). If I turn off windows ink in Wacom driver settings then my sliders in camera raw become responsive again, but I lose pressure sensitivity in PS. Just updated Wacom drivers, but no joy. Anybody have a work around/fix?

I used to experience crashes in games only when I overclock to 333FSB but none at 266FSB. I did get 600 more 3dmark2001SE points by using the new agp drivers. But I tried battlefield 1942 and my video locked up when I boarded an airplane in the wake island mission. I had never experienced a freeze with the old agp and am interested to know how others have made out.

HT201272 I seem to have a version of overdrive media console that does not support wma audiobooks files. Is there anyone with this problem with a solution.

I recently installed the overdrive media console. I was able to down e books and mp3 books but when I tried to down wma books. A message flashes out that the omc that I installed from the apps store is unsupported format. The version of omc does not support wma audiobook titles. Any suggestions.

WMA stands for Windows Media Audio...it is a Microsoft audio format that is not supported on the Mac or iOS version of the apps. If you want to use the WMA audiobooks, you will have to use the Windows desktop app. You can use MP3 audiobooks on any version of the app.

My ipod was taking forever on the 'do not disconnect' setting and getting really hot. I left for work and it was still the same when i came in 4 hours later.
In the end i decided to simply remove the dock from the ipod. When the screen changed it had the notorious folder and ! icon displayed. Now when i attempt to connect to my PC it does the same-takes forever and doesn't actually shows up in itunes (although the usb port recognises it as large storage device).
All this is accompanied by a constant spinning of the hard drive in the ipod. I know this is a common problem and was wondering if anyone with this problem has solved it without sending it for repair.

Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps).
