Application does not redirect to the SSO page even after it is configured

I have a simple J2EE Application that has a single JSP page. I have deployed to Oracle AS `10.1.3.1.
After I have deployed the application, I have turned on javasso for the application through the EM. [I had checked the box for "use java sso" in the Java SSO configuration in the cluster topology.
I changed the security provider for the application to use system-jazn-data.xml [after i cdnt get it to work with the applcation's own jazn-data.xml]
I have restarted OC4J after the changes.
When I navigate to the JSP page within the application, I dont see it redirect to the SSO page. Am I missing something here ?

"Each partner application must be enabled to use Java SSO. This can also be configured through Application Server Control . Being enabled to use Java SSO is indicated by a setting of auth-method="CUSTOM_AUTH" in the <jazn-web-app> element, a subelement of <jazn> in orion-application.xml."
I faintly recall there may be a bug with this that the CUSTOM_AUTH entry doesn't get inserted when you use ASC.
Please go and look at the orion-application.xml of your application, and if the tag is not set, manually add it and restart the application.

This can be the result of selecting the wrong driver. An older, unsupported laser printer will sometimes work with the generic Postscript driver.

Page redirecting to US adobe page even after entering through adobe india. Unable to install photoshop cc.

I was using a trial version of CC. Now i want to subscribe for monthly membership, but in adobe wesite, its always redirecting to adobe US page even after entering through adobe india, where the country is already selected as United States by default. I cannot provide proper address there. I am unable to download the adobe photoshop CC. Can anyone help with this?

Please change the browser and sign in, once you are signed in then it should not change the country itself.
Remember to choose your region from the left bottom of the screen.

Try calling Tech Support, they should be able to check to see if theres a lock and try to help you reset it, I had to call and get my account unflagged, for something that I didn't even do.

Ok so I open my Firefox browser but when it opens it does not go to the homepage. It goes to the last page I visited in my previous internet session. My homepage is www.imdb.com but lets says I go to www.facebook.com and then i close the window; if I reopen firefox it will go to the facebook page and not the homepage. This happens all the time and it even happens after I restart the computer. It always goes to the last page I visited. Like this page for example where I posted a question. Once i close firefox, and then open it again, it will come to this page and not the homepage. Is this supposed to happen? It started happened a few weeks back. I reinstalled it and it still happens. thanks.

This is a pretty easy fix. Just go to ''Tools > Options > General'' and change the preference for what Firefox should do on startup. You probably have it set to load tabs and pages from your previous session.
If that doesn't work, you should look at the Knowledge Base article [[Preferences are not saved]].

Application does not start during the engine restart.

Hello all,
after deploying a custom developed application to the engine the application works fine. However, when the J2EE is restarted the application page is not available with the following message:
Application error occurred during request processing. Details:Error
[javax.servlet.ServletException: Spo object was not created during the
startup], with root cause [com.appname.exception.SevereException:
Spo object was not created during the startup].
Exception id: [0013729689A200590000009D00000D90000446937D1802B7]
The application is shown running from visual administrator.
The application page is again available when we restart the application
manually from visual admin.
SO everytime we restart the engine we need to restart the application
too in order to get back the application page back.
There are many errors in the SPO log like the following:
ERROR [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_25] - Failed to set up connection pool: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Path to object does not exist at java:comp, the whole lookup name is java:comp/env/jdbc/qaht6114.
Can anyone please advice us on what could be the problem here?

Has any of you used the startup mode setting? I tried using it and set it to always but the application still won't start. Is there anything I'm missing?

You'll need to fully qualify the fields that are on other pages. The reason for this is these fields are not underneath the same parent in the XML DOM as where you're script is running (the drop-down). So it does not find the fields on the other pages and doesn't know where to look for them.
A fully qualified SOM expression would look something like this:

EndNote plug-in does not work in the new Pages?

I have EndNote X7 installed as well as the Pages EndNote Plug-in v1.0. It worked fine for Pages before the update. Now, I can see the ' EndNote Citation' in the insert menu, but it is grey and cannot be selected. I have re-installed the Plug-in again, but problem still exists. Any suggestions?

I had Endnote x5 but after realizing mavericks does not support it then i updated it to x6 ( and also x7 to try and find where is the problem). However, i also meet the same problem with Endote x6 / x7 and Pages 5.0! Version 2 supports adding citation for pages BUT; there is no chance to select Bibliography and its predefined citation Styles although endnote has a different (my desired) citation style. (no Sync with papes :S)

I deleted the older version of foxfire and install the 4.0 version. When I double click on the program it does not engage the web page.

TS1702 Live Notes application does not play back the audio.

I bought the Live notes application. I tried to use the microphone to tape the voice. It shows the audio level, if you close IPAD it inform you that is recording de audio. But when I went to play my note the audio does not happen.

1) Try a Hard Reset as follows.
Remove any devices connected to the notebook. Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery, plug in the AC Adapter and start the notebook - check if the speakers are now working.
2) Please First check if the speaker icon on the unit is not muted.
3) Go to device manager and uninstall the Sound driver and restart and unit will install the driver automatically.
4) Try doing System restore to the date when the unit was working fine.
5) Try to update the driver from hp.com website for Audio & Bios.

Back button does not go to the previous page

Hi all, first post.
As an imac user I also have a laptop running Win7 O/S and of course Safari 5.1 (7534.50).
I go to the tabbed browsing bar, click on a bookmark and open all in tabs.
The problem occurs when I use the back button to go to the previous page. Instead I get a previous set of tabs? Or sinle blank tab?
Can anybody help me please!

Right - found a workaround for the PC (mac is not affected).
Instead of hitting the back button, hold it.
This will bring a list of all possible back pages, select the one you want.
Once you have done this, the back button behaves a bit better.
EDIT: Timesink has noted that the backspace button works.

When I close the browser and then re open it it does not go to the home page but opens to the last page that was open when I close it.

Every time We have been closing the browser for the last few days when we restart the browser, regardless of weather we shut down the computer or not, it reopens to the last page that was opened. I cleared out and deleted the history but it did not help.

Maybe you currently have your home page setting to "Show my windows and tabs from last time" instead of "Show my home page".
