Best way to transfer XML based data

All,
I am looking for the best possible way of transferring XML based data from a server to a web based client.
XML file is generated on server and its size is massive. I am looking for all possible alternatives and possibly the best way.
Could it be AJAX, SOAP, parsing through a servlet, creating value objects?
I appreciate all inputs.
Thanks,
S.

You can make a bootable copy of your system now, but you won't be able to boot from it with the new computer. They are not usually backwards compatible with the OS. But when you first boot into the new system, use SetUp Assistant to migrate the data from the cloned copy. That will work just fine.

  • Best way to transfer internal HD data in Mavericks to Mac with Yosemite ?

    Hello,
I'm using a 2007 iMac with Mavericks and will be getting a new one which will presumably come with Yosemite installed. What's the best way to transfer all the data from my internal HD on the old system, to the new one ?
I use SuperDuper to make backups to external HD's, so if I make a bootable copy of the mac HD to an ext HD using SuperDuper, will everything function fine despite the different OS's ?
    Thanks,
    Matrose.

  • Best way to transfer single point data between loops on FPGA

    Hi,
I used quite number of loops on FPGA and need to transfer single point datas between loops. Only the current value of data is needed so buffer is not necessary. I don't want use target scope FIFO since it require minimum 21 elements and I only need the current value. Is there other way other than local variables?
        Thanks for help!
        Regards,
       Tom

    Hi Godel,
Since this discussion thread is over 3 years old, it would be better to start a new thread with your specific questions to get quicker help.
I did a bit of research on your question, and found this helpful White Paper (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/7727/en/) that discusses the resources used for components in LV FPGA code. For local variables (although it depends on hardware), it looks like it uses Flip-flops and LUTs.
As for using local variables with different clock rates, I found this KnowledgeBase article that might help shed some light on your question - some issues can arise from using them with more than one clock rate (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/C683585460E88508862570D1006B7434)
Hope this helps! Again, if you have follow-up questions, I would definitely recommend creating a new thread

  • Best way to transfer data to new internal hard drive

    Hi,
I just got a new internal hard drive for my macbook and I'm trying to figure out the best way to transfer all the data from my old hd to the new one. Basically, I would just like to make an exact copy of my old hd and put it on the new larger one. Thanks for the help.

Will I simply be able to do a firewire transfer on the new internal HD is installed
Yes. Use Carbon Copy Cloner with the sopurce and destination volumes reversed after installing the new drive.
Additionally do I need a bootable copy of OSX on my external HD to do the transfer?
Yes; the clone can act as this copy. If you copy everything with Carbon Copy Cloner, you will be told whether the drive will be bootable or not prior to the clone.

  • What is the best way to transfer data from a PC to an iMac?

What is the best way to transfer data from a PC to an iMac?

If you know how to set up a computer-to-computer Ethernet network, then you can give that a try, but a hard drive will be faster than Ethernet unless you don't have a lot to transfer.

  • Best way to transfer data between loops?

Hi, whats the best way to transfer data between loops(state machines, regular while loop etc) in labview. For so many years ive been using local variables but these can cause race conditions. Anyone advise?
    Stu

It depends one the structure of the loops and how they need to exchange data (unidirectional, bidirectional, broadcasting).
The simple case of one loop passing data to the other loop: producer/consumer design pattern using a queue
If the structure already contains an event structure: User Events
The way I code is documented in my community nugget on events
I often mix this with producer/consumer.

  • Best way to transfer data between iMac early 2006 and iMac late 2012

What is the best way to transfer data between iMac early 2006 and iMac late 2012?

HI, is this for Migrating all data ove, or just File Sharing?
What OSX version is in he older one?
Do you have any backup external drive for the older one?

  • Best Way to Transfer Data

My 5 year old iMac recently died. I just purchased a new one and it arrived today. I have time machine back ups from the old iMac. Mt question is what is the best way to transfer the data from my time machine back up to my new mac? Should I use time machine or should I use migration assistant?

When the Setup Assistant on the new one you will be given an opportunity to restore from a Time Machine backup. If you're out of the Setup Assistant then use Migration Assistant. Be sure you have your TM backup drive connected.

  • What is the best way to transfer my date from my old iMac to my new iMac?

what is the best way to transfer my date from my old iMac to my new iMac? I don't have a time capsule, so I cannot use time machine.
    thanks

Your best bet by far is to use Setup Assistant when the new Mac first starts up to transfer directly from the old one.
It's similar to Migration Assistant, but doing it that way will avoid having an extra user account.
Either way, you can connect them via FireWire, Thunderbolt, or your network, but avoid wireless if at all possible.  You can connect both to your netwrork via Ethernet, or put a single cable between the two.

  • What is the best way to transfer all of my data from my iPod touch 3rd generation to my iPhone 4s?

I have a 3rd generation iPod touch, and now I am getting an iPhone 4s. What is the best way to transfer all of my data, including paid-for apps and music, from the iPod to the iPhone without losing anything? Can I just do it through iTunes or the iCloud? I have never used iCloud before.

  • Best way to transfer data between loops in FPGA VIs

    Hi,
    I'm using a FlexRio Board PXIe 7962, with an I/O module 5781.
I've set the Top level Clock to 80MHz (Base Clk 40M), and I'm implementing two loops in the FPGa VI: In the first one, I'm using a SCTL (20M) where I'm getting Digitized Data (1.5MHz) from the NI 5781, then multiplying it by a DDS Signal (1.8MHz), then I'm filtering (band-pass around 300kHz)) the product.
My question is: If what I've implemented is correct, what is the best way to transfer the first loop data running at 20MHz, to the second one running at 1MHz ? (without loosing Data of course since the signal interest is at 300kHz)
and similarly : what is the best way to transfer the second loop data running at 1MHz, to a Host VI ? DMA FIFOs?
    Thank you in advance,
    Zouhair

I've set the loop timer in the first frame to 4 clock ticks of 80MHz, so I imagine that what follows should not work under 20MHz, Am I mistaken?
Yes you are.  That SCTL will execute in the 20MHz clock time.  Everything else in the loop is just adding to that time.

  • I just bought a new Macbook. What's the best way to transfer all my info from the old one?

Hey everyone! I just got my new retina display Macbook Pro, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to transfer all my music/photos/files/data/etc. from my old Mackbook Pro. I have a 1TB external drive and an 8GB flash drive that I can use if I need to. Any sugestions? Thanks!

What i did with mine, I cloned the drive of my old macbook to my external drive using carbon copy cloner.
Once i was done with the clone - i used migration assistant to transfer my apps/data/pictures/files over my new macbook....
when using migration assistant - do not transfer your old settngs and if you're doing an app transfer, only transfer the ones you need and that you know will work with your Retina...
    good luck..

  • Best way to  back up your data

Which is the fastest and best way to back up your data in case of any problem ? Still to transfer to an external HD ?
    Thanks

    Hi Ferro;
Best and simplest way to back up is Time Machine to an external drive.
I think that any backup plan should alway be to an external drive. If you backup to an internal drive and the Mac fails, what good is your backup then?

  • Best way to transfer disk contents from dead Cube (G4) to new iMac (Intel)

Forgive me if this has been covered before - my search didn't find anything on this particular problem.
My (upgraded, but ancient) Cube finally bit the dust during a power surge/outage at the house. Actually, it was just the power brick that died, but I have ordered a new iMac to replace the Cube. My question is on the best way to transfer the data and info from my old hard drive to the new iMac when it arrives. I am thinking of buying a Firewire or USB enclosure for the Cube's disk (Western Digital 120 GB) and using it as an external drive at the new iMac. Since the Cube is effectively dead, I don't think I can use Migration Assistant, can I? And should this transfer be the first thing I do on the new iMac? I know that many of my apps won't run natively on the Intel iMac, but some will under emulation, so I want to save many of them (Cube was still a G4 PPC). I also want to be able to transfer my iTunes and iPhoto libraries, all my Office files, and other data without having to individually copy them all. Can someone suggest the best course of action?
    Thanks in advance,
    Joe Crabtree

    Hi Joe Crabtree;
Please remember that you are changing from PowerPC to Intel architecture so you will want to install all application on the new iMac and only migrate data files. Migrating applications from PowerPC to Intel is a known way to create problems with your new iMac.
