browsing to it. i have an app that was searching for an id and getting data back on the next page then creating a text file and writing to it. can i have that file uploaded after it has been written to it without a user browsing to where it is? need a little direction please?

i am using Oracle 8i 8.1.7
I have this tablespace called "tspc1"
and the tablespace has 5 db files and one of the tables is table1
ques :
1. the data in table1 can span across mutliple db files though each record can only be in 1 db file ?
2. this table has 100M records, with first record dated back to Y2K , and assuming that this record resides in db file 1 and if i now delete the records in Y2K , will oracle save new rows into db file 1 assuming now it's using db file 5 ?
if not , how can i point the table to be using that particular file ?

If you are using DMT, the block will go on the freelist to be reused when the amount of space used falls below the pct_used setting for the table, If you are using LMTs, the block will be marked as available immediately. Of course, if you are using +APPEND, then no blocks will be reused because rows will be added at the high water mark.

Hi, I am trying to get an exe. file of a slideshow to play on
my website. I cannot see it on my site and I get an icon asking for
a plugin, but I am not sure where I get plugins from. I clicked the
icon, but it did not help me. I am wondering if perhaps it is not
possible to play exe. files on a website.
Does anyone have a clue about this.

they usually run in a browser sandbox! Imagine what could

Another thing: .exe files are DOS/Windows specific. What
should users of
other platforms do with it? The Web doesn't care about the
used OS.
So in short: Use Web technologies to make your slideshow

Any way to Upload a File Automatically without user interaction in BSP.
Problem is;
We have an terminal pc connected to an Production Machine and has a PLC for reading Machine Actual Datas. This terminal has Windows CE.NET OS. There is one program which Appending PLC Data to Text file (STORAGE CARD\PLC\SAMPLE.TXT).
Users can access to WAS system in this Terminal (Has network).
I have to access to SAMPLE.TXT file using BSP when user antered a page in WAS.
Have you got any solution. I have tried so much methods to do this. But i have not found any solution.

I would like files I download to open automatically and for the download window to be turned off. I know how to turn off the download window, but cannot get files to automatically download.

I think I've created confusion about what I want. All I want is to end up with a file that is flattened so that I can save it as a tiff without getting a warning that it contains layers. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve always assumed I should always flatten a file before I save it as a tiff unless I specifically want to retain layers or transparency. I’m only talking here of files that open with a single layer: ie. Layer 1. I assume that if I don’t flatten such files the resultant files will be unnecessarily big?
The only reason I keep saying I want a Background layer is that I know that a flattened file will only have a Background layer. I don’t have any desire for a Background layer per se. I certainly don’t want to add extra layers - quite the opposite.
So perhaps the question I should have asked should have been:
How can I get files to open 'ready-flattened' by default so I can save them directly to tiff without having to manually flatten them every time?

When you move a folder to iCloud Drive, it will upload the contents of this folder to iCloud Drive, but it may take a long tome, even for small items. You may see progress bars, while the contents is uploading. And the folder may look empty, until it will be updated from iCloud. For example - shortly after adding the folder "neueBilder" to iCloud Drive.

I have the copies of the pst files on my Mac, so I am looking for the most efficient way to convert them to the format that I can then open them in the Mac Mail. While I was transferring photos back and forth from a thumb drive something went haywire and my IPhoto was wiped clean! When I click on Time Machine I see all the dated pages (without an external storage drive connected), go back to a date where all my photo files are there, click "restore", and I get the message: "The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in file cant be read or written (error code - 36)"

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

erict, you blew me away with that suggestion! It was something so simple I couldnt believe I hadnt thought of it! But in the end it didn't work, which I was really surprised about. On Windows anytime anything was moved itunes was hoplessly lost, but on this mac it still kept up with everything. I tried renaming folders, moving folders, and even renaming moved folders but it still kept trying to import.
I even went as far as deleting EVERYTHING i had moved to the Mac, which didnt really work. It still kept trying to import what wasnt there which made it continue to freeze up. However, after doing this it, the freezing was not nearly as bad. It gave me enough of a break to cancel it through the itunes dialog box at the top of the app. So in the end, thats all I really needed to do, only before I had deleted everything the freezing would not allow me to do it.
So now Im reimporting everything again, only slowly, and only a few Artists at a time.

If you would like to create a package/procedure in order to solve this problem consider using the UTL_FILE in built package, here are a few steps to get you going:
1. Get your DBA to create directory object in oracle using the following command:
create directory TEST_DIR as ‘directory_path’;
Note: This directory is on the server.
2. Grant read,write on directory directory_object_name to username;
You can find out the directory_object_name value from dba_directories view if you are using the system user account.
3. Logon as the user as mentioned above.
Sample code read plain text file code, you can modify this code to suit your need (i.e. read a csv file)

This has nothing to do with iTunes as iTunes provides no way to move or relocate the backup files.
A search of google or the fourms would reveal ways to create a folder link to relocate the physical location where the files are stored.
