Can I create a new folder with Js in ID?

Hi,
I want to create a new folder(not an exist folder) with JS in ID.
Anyone can tell me how to do?
Best Regards
Goldbridge

Goldbridge,
I don't have time to check it, but f2, I think, should be a file path or a file object - not a folder object:
fileObj.copy (target)
target - A string with the URI path to the target location, or a File object that references
the target location.
Copies this objects referenced file to the specified target location. Resolves any aliases to find the source file. If a file exists at the target location, it is overwritten.
So it should be:
var myText = "save this";
f1=new File("~/Desktop/images/1.txt");
f1.open("w");
f1.write(myText);
f1.close();
// I assume that aaa folder already exists
f2=new Folder("~/Desktop/images/aaa");
f1.copy("~/Desktop/Images/aaa/1.txt");

    Just like you would create a new folder anywhere. Open the drive's icon from your desktop or the Finder, and click shift-command-N. (Or use the Finder menu if you prefer - File - New Folder).
    If you can't create a folder, your drive may be the wrong format (you can't write to a Windows/NTFS formatted drive, for example). You'll have to back up any files you have on there, and then use Disk Utility to reformat it to Mac Extended (if it will only be used on a Mac) or MS-DOS format (if you want to share it with a PC).

  • Can you create a new folder and put several documents in it in Adobe?

    Can you create a new folder and put several documents in it in Adobe?

    Thank you for your help. Now I just want to expand on this a bit. To use the Applescript you have supplied me, how do I tell it to name the folder other than by date, and where to put it?
    Let me say, preferably, is it possible to make an action like this right-clickable? Instead of having to pick a script. Anything that slows this process down means I might as well do it all by hand. What I'd really love to do is this:
    Select a number of items. Right click to an action saying "create a new folder and put this items in it. Name the folder with the first item's name". Very simple and quick.
    Could this be accomplished? Through Automator? or something that can appear in the contextual menu? Folder actions?
    I'm just getting started with using these tools.

  • I have a new western digital 1TB ultra. how do i format it? i can't create a new folder inside the external drive.

    I have a new WD My Passport Ultra external drive. Once connected to the Macbook Pro retina, I can't create a new folder in the external drive. What do I do to solve the problem?

    You should be able to format it for use with your computer using Disk Utility in the Utilities folder:

    You are asking about a Database User I hope.
    You can look into the Oracle 8i Documentation and find various privillages listed.
    In particular, you may find:
    Chapter 27 Privileges, Roles, and Security Policies
    an intresting chapter.
    You may want to do this with the various tools included with 8i - including the
    Oracle DBA Studio - expand the Security node and you can create USERS and ROLES.
    Or use SQL*Plus. To create a
    user / password named John / Smith, you would login to SQL*Plus as System/manager (or other) and type in:
    Create user John identified by Smith;
    Grant CONNECT to John;
    Grant SELECT ANY TABLE to John;
    commit;
    There is much more you can do
    depending on your needs.
    Please read the documentation.

    How can I create a new folder in Word for Mac?

    You don't do this in Word. You do it in the OS X Finder.
    All you need do in Word is open the file, then select Save As from Word's File menu. Change the destination to your new folder then click on the Save button.
    The Finder method is much faster if you have a number of files you want to move. Just remember that to open those moved files in Word, you will have to change the directory from which you will open those files.

    Why can I create a new folder in the catalog but it only shows up in windows not the catalog

    Not sure I understand the question but it could be because you meant to say "can't" somewhere in the sentence.  anyway, just guessing here:
    Try going to:
    File >> Watch folders
    Now you can Add new folders here that you see them in Windows.  The word ADD is a button to browse for the folders and hopefully this will solve the problem you are having.

    Macs can't write to, nor create folders on, NTFS formatted drives without the use of third-party software.
    If you want to maintain the NTFS formatting, try Paragon's NTFS for Mac -> http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/.
    Good luck,

  • How can I create a new folder in de tool bar?

    I have several bookmarks of news papers and magazines located in the tool bar. Since they take space I need for other bookmarks, I need to place them in a folder which will also be located in the tool bar. How can do to achieve that?...I did it once but I forgot how I did it.

  • How can I create a new folder within IBooks

    Hi,
    I want to have two separate folders in IBooks - Books and Papers. However, I am unable to find an option in Itunes to do this. Ideally I would like to organize my files and books within Itunes and sync it with Ipad IBooks. Any ideas?

  • If i cancel an account can I create a new one with the same e-mail address?

    I made an account with Game Center and I wanted to use it to get some free apps on the iTunes Store. When I tried to sign in on iTunes (for Windows) it said I had to review my details. I didn't have a credit card so I couldn't complete it and there wasn't any option for no credit card.
    I wondered if I could cancel my account and create a new one with the same e-mail address. There was a discussion that you could create a new account on the iTunes Store and have the choice to not have a credit card.
    Any help will help!
    SuperHoops

    No, it does not, not if the creation of the Apple ID was completed, which unless you are referring to a different Apple ID I presume it did since you are posting here. And once created, you can't get apps without providing a payment method; setting up for just free apps requires a very specific procedure or a payment method is necessary. Creating an account via Game Center does not work.
    If you can create a new email address (Gmail or Yahoo mail will work), take a look here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
    Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
    You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)
    Regards.

  • Can't create a new folder in ECP 3

    Hello,
    I downloaded ECP 3 this morning and I can't seem to be able to create a new folder in the sidebar. I get an "NotReadableError" message when trying to make a folder. Is this intentional because of the "preview" status of the release? The following is a screenshot of what I'm seeing when I try to make a new folder.
    Thanks in advance.
    OS: Windows 7
