Cannot copy/paste between X11 and Aqua after 10.5.7 update

I'm stumped. After updating to 10.5.7 I am unable to cut/paste between xterm and Text Editor or any other Aqua-based app (email, browser, etc...). I can cut/paste between Aqua apps. And I can cut/paste between X11 apps, but X11 <-> Aqua just does not work. Commands pbpaste and pbcopy work great and are a temp fix, but I cannot work this way much longer. Going back to Linux is looking more and more attractive.

Put the image on a server and use the html code
Create another user account and see if X11 behaves normally in the new account. If it does, you know the problem must then reside in your own configuration settings.

Copy&paste between textedit and javachat

I'm running a MacBook Pro 2.4GHz intel OSX 10.5.6. I moderate a java chat room and keep broadcasts and IP#'s in text edit and so copy and paste between the two. But lately I'm running into a loss of this ability. I can copy and paste within textedit or within the java chat, but not between them. When it first began happening a reboot was enough to bring that function back, but now I'm having to run onyx to repair permissions etc. to get it right again. How do i fix this? When the room's busy, i really need that function. I don't know if this is related, but got this message after the last permission repair...

Cannot Copy/Paste into Find and Replace

Help! I used to be able to do this, but now I cannot seem to
copy/paste source code into the Find and Replace dialog box. I am
stumped as to why this is a problem. I am running Dreamweaver MX
2004 (educational version). I would appreciate any help!!!

Copy/Paste between guest and host system

I'm looking for the way to use the clipboard so that I can copy from host system to guest system.
Is that possible?

Unfortunately, the VBOx docs can be pretty spotty.
What is your guest OS?
What is your host OS?
From you example above it appears you are working with Ubuntu on one side or the other, but it it is not clear if that is host or guest. If we can get that clarified perhaps we can offer some more assistance.

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iCloud and delete the account from the iPod and then sign back in.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Cannot copy paste from Outlook 2011 to anything

I'm on 10.9.5 and cannot copy/paste text from emails in Outlook:Mac 2011 to other apps like textedit or textwrangler or MS Word. I've tried killing pboard in the Activity Monitor and from command line, and tried stopping and starting com.apple.pboard with launchctl. Restart has fixed this in the past, but that is not a good solution.
Looking at other threads here and other places, it seems like a pervasive issue that goes beyond Outlook. Any other known fixes? Thanks-

Cannot copy/paste in Firefox 22

Colleagues,
copy/paste functions don't work after update.
It's stupid, unprofessional error.
Looked through entire forum - no solution. I don't have ZoneAlarm. I just got Firefox updated to v.22 and - surpise! - it works incorrectly. I didn't change anything. Just installed new update. With v.21 it worked. With v.22 it doesn't work.

Yes, I am having the same problem... mine works most of the time, but fails about every 1 out of 5 attempts, sometimes multiple times in a row. Extremely annoying. There is a bug report for this:

It started happening to me as soon as I upgraded to FF 22, even on local HTML files where there are no clipboard events.

It's not related to a specific site. The issue is general.
I've not used Firefox in safe mode, and unfortunately, don't know what it is.
What's puzzling is that this only started recently, never was an issue before, and is not fixed with the update. Perhaps it's related to the webmail programme I used that's provided by my website host. The programme is Horde.
(BTW, the copy, paste problem does not seem to occur in Chrome.)
I recently installed an add-on to Firefox for copying. It mostly works.

No. I don't believe that would be allowed with the SDK. You could always email them to yourself.

I can't paste between AI and PS.

I can't paste between AI and PS. When I paste from one Illustrator document and another it works fine but when I paste from AI to PS I get a blank box of the right size but no content.
