Chaning the information on completed task in sap crm

Hi Experts,
We need to change some sales tasks in the production whose status is completed. I am writing a sample report program to change status back to open and I am getting change is not allowed exception in the order maintain FM. Is there any way to make changes or any program to unlock these kind of transactions. Thanks for your time.

Please check your status profile customizations.
You are tying to change the status from Complete to Open. In your status profile check the lowest status number & higest status numbers.
For example for open (10) you have status Lowest as 10 & higest as 40 in this case you can set the status from 10 to 40.
For example your completed status have 40, in lowest you should have 10 & higest 40. In this case you can set the status from 40 to 10.
And also check authorization code for the completed status.

  • Filtering My Open Task in SAP CRM based on Status, Transaction & Partner Function

    Hello
    Whenever i create a Task in SAP CRM, it displays that transaction in the My Open Task of all Business Partners involved in that Transaction.
    I want to restrict the My Open Tasks based on Transaction Type, Status and Partner Function.
    1) The system should work as it is for all other Tasks but for my Custom Transaction Type the logic should be based on status of the Transaction
    2) When My Open Task component is prepared the system should consider the Status and Partner Function as well i.e. if the status is Approval of Manager, the system should show the Open Task only to the Manager and not other parties.
    3) if the status of the Transaction is Open, the system should only display this Transaction / Task only to Employee Responsible and not to Manager and other people involved in their My Open Tasks.

    I have implemented the method DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT as per the post but it does not do anything. When i redefine the method GET_QUERY_RESULT and remove everything,it does not prepare any list.
    If possible please specify which method needs to be redefined in the component/view CRMCMP_GS_WC/TodaysTasks & if possible please share the code that needs to be maintained in that method.

    Method DO_INIT_CONTEXT should be redefined
    This should be redifined to get the collections with your required filter criteria.
    * get the collection of entities for the tasks
       lr_col      = get_query_result( gc_status-open ).
    If this does not help, Delete the collections which are not required after above selection but before this code.
       me->typed_context->resultnew->collection_wrapper->set_collection( lr_col ).

    The table name depends on the condition table you have chosen while adding a condition record. Like if it is SAP001, the database table will be CNCCRMPRSAP001.

    As initially Customer will be treated as Prospect in SAP CRM , Once after he is giving the order how he has to be converted as customer in SAP CRM and the same has to be replicated in SAP ECC.     Hi,
    You will need to first change the role of the Business partner from prospect to Sold to party as you cannot create any order for a prospect. This can be done manually.
    Secondly, to replicate the customer from CRM to ECC, you need to create a Subscription in tcode SMOEAC in CRM for the object BUPA_MAIN.

  • Geographic Information System (GIS) functions in SAP CRM 2007

    Dear all,
    I am currently working on a SAP CRM 2007 implementation project that consists in replacing an old customer service application.
    Currently this application is managing service technicians' territories with embedded GIS functions (it relies on latitude and longitude data to assign the closest technicians to a service order).
    I would like to know if SAP CRM 2007 is covering the following:
    - GIS functions;
    - Ability to assign a technician based on this;
    - Ability to visually see the map and draw technician territory changes on it;
    - Ability to optimize technician route (mileage).
    I cannot find insights about this in the SAP Help.
    So, where can I find some details / documentation about this?
    A third party tool would be necessary and also its integration to SAP CRM?

    So basically I don't see this being out of the box functionality, however you could build something for this.
    1.  You need to store the geo co-ordinates for the customer on the customer master or be able to "bolt out for this".
    2.  Create a new "partner determination rule" that would make a call to the external system to propose a technician on the service order.
    3.  Have a punch out on the service order screen that links into a web like GIS application where you could visualize this and send change data back into the CRM service order.
    Now if someone else knows that CRM 2007 can do what you described out of the box, I would love to see the demo.  We have a similiar requirement, where we need to keep track of the mapping, but no need to perform the routing logic.

    Some excellent documentations are available in:- https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/crm-inst (search for the operation guide pdfs, if required you can also check inst/upg docs). User your S user id/password to login.
    From my experience, in practical field most of the issues you will face with qRFC/BDoc message flow handling and JAVA stack administration. Stress on these two areas and go through the guides, CRM admin won't be a major issue.
    Once you go through the basic operation guides and start working on the system then you will come to know there exists many CRM specific trx(SMW02,SMWP..etc) codes and CRM related tables(CRMPAROLTP,CRMRFCPAR.. etc),bgd jobs/reports - which you have to take care at times.

  • I can't print the inform to complete the printer registrati​on

    I have an HP C310 with the web service activated and it shows the mail address for eprint but when i click on the "print inform" button appears a message saying eprint instruction page has sended and that it may take a few moments to print it. The problem is thas i did it yesterday and the page is not printed yet.
    Any suggestions?

  • Where can I find the 'club' database sample used in the 'Information Design Tool' tutorials?

    Hi experts!
    I have been studying the tutorials for the Information Design Tool (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-8461) and in some of them they use a database called 'club'. For what I see, this is an Access 2007 database and has some tables called City, Region, Customer, etc. I have been searching it across the web and have not found it.
    Hope somebody knows where I can find this sample.

    Okay folks, I'm going to leave this thread here, but let's have an honest discussion on whether this question should have been answered or not?
    1)  The information requested is found in the release notes for each release.  All available on service marketplace.
    2)  The masterguide for each release of SAP CRM states what's supported and what's required or not and also has note references.
    In addition if you read the the thread at the top of this forum that says CRM Webclient UI FAQ - Read this before answering or posting questions then probably this question should not have been asked in the first place.
    If you are planning a CRM implementation or need to learn more about a particular release then it's probably a good idea to read the release notes and the master guide for that release.  Now that being said this question has been asked a couple of times here, so a search probably would have turned up some results.
    I'm making this a sticky so other folks can join in the discussion.  We will keep this in this forum for now so we can discuss the behavior expected.

    Hi ,
    CRM service : The organisation which are providing service for there sold products mostly implelents SAP CRM Service.
    i.e. LG is providing service for there sold products TV, A/C and many more.
    Now the scenario is like this each company is having there differnt methods to provide service for products.
    Service is always calculated with help warranty period for each product which is sold.And we have to MAP all the Service process for client in SAP CRM.
    suppose take this scenario as example :
    foe service center of LG :
    1) The employee at service center will get a call for providing service for one of the product which was sold by LG e.g. TV.
    2) Then at service center end the employee will raise the service order for this LG TV.
    3) Now order will contain the header and item data for that LG TV.
    4) Then this service order will be processed at various stages e.g after raising the open service order technician will get that ref order no and then technician will visit the customers home for analysing the LG TV then he will again come to service center and updatyes the service order i.e. Is that TV is within the warrenty or not depends on that type of service order will be decide is In Warrenty service order or out waarenty service order.
    4) Finaaly it will get settled at the upper most level where that the completed status.
    5) One more thing all craeted service orders are getting replicated to ECC as a sales order.
           Rest of the scenarios are almost same like CRM Sales.
    But in CRM Service you have to face different different Methods of providing service for customer and its tough to MAP in SAP because every Compny is having there on process of giving service to the customers .
