Class conflict with a cluster

I want to pass a cluster to a SubVI.
The size of cluster can be varied in some situations.
How can I pass the cluster with the reference constant?

Okay, I found the solution using not strict reference control in the attachment.
Any other simple suggestions?

  • Class conflicts with third-party libraries on j2ee engine

    Hi,
    I am deploying a repository manager into EP. In my repository I referenced javax.xml.namespace.QName, which conflicts with the one declared in jaxrpc.jar in j2ee/cluster/server0/bin/ext/webservices_lib.
    I am not very clear about how NW j2ee engine loads classes, but it seems that it loads classes in j2ee/cluster/server0/bin/ext/webservices_lib first. As a result, I got a class confliction error:
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.xml.namespace.QName.<init>(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;)V
    If I remove QName.class from the jar in webservices_lib, it works fine, but this not the right way. I have read Note 990854, but not clear about how to do. Could anyone give any help?
    Thanks,
    Ray

  • Adding tab to typedef tabcontrol causes class conflict with global variable

    Hi,
    I am quite new to labview. I have to update an existing program and I have a problem whith a tabcontrol. In attachement, I give you a very simple solution showing my problem.
    I have defined a simple tabControl in a typedef ctl. I had it to a VI and in block diagram of this VI, I want to fill a global variable with this control and this global variable is set as "Include Data Type".
    When creating my ctl file with a simple tabcontrol, there is no problem but my tabcontrol only contains 2 tabs. When I use "Add page after" in my ctl file to create a third one, after saving, I get a class conflict error on wire to global variable in my block diagram.
    If I remove added page, all is OK again. I don't understand why adding a new page causes a class conflict. In my attachement, it is very simple but in program that I have to modify, I already have 15 tabs and I just want to add a 16th one so, I am sure there is a mean, but impossible to fond it after many hours...
    If someone can tell me how to make my example works with "Include Data Type" (if I remove it, it always works but that is not what I want) and adding an additional tab, it would hemp me a lot!
    Thanks in advance.

    The problem is that the tab is an enum, and you can't wire two strictly typed references of two different enums together, because they are considered different data types. What you can do is right click the reference control in the global variable and select Show Control, which will show the data type of the reference. You can then replace the control inside the reference with the typedef, which will cause it to update correctly.
    Although that will solve the problem, if you have the reference to a tab control in a global variable, you probably have some issues with your code, but that's not something which can be commented on without more details.

  • The name of this class conflicts with the name of another class

    I had a problem when compiling my flash movie. I had made an
    instance from a class, but the output kept saying:
    "The name of this class, XXX, conflicts with the name of
    another class that was loaded XXX."
    I read a lot of developers have the same problems, when i
    looked it up:
    Google
    link on : "conflicts with the name of antother class that was
    loaded"
    Apparently it is some kind of bug caused by different times,
    between local/network machines and servers.
    Also when there is a time difference involved between 2
    computers, then this problem also occurs.
    Can't macromedia fix this bug? .....Because as a developer i
    don't want to adjust my time, everytime i want to test my flash
    movies or have to compile my movie 2 times. The other developers
    are getting tired of it also.
    We need to get this bug trough to macromedia or adobe!
    It needs to be fixed!

    Can anyone help?

  • Why do I get a class conflict between the Prepare SQL.vi and the Get Column Name.vi with the SQL Toolkit compatibility vis from the Database Connectivity Toolkit?

    I have done extensive programming with the SQL Toolkit with LabVIEW versions through 6.1. My customer now wants to upgrade to Windows 7, so I am trying to upgrade to LabVIEW 2009 (my latest purchased version) using the Database Connectivity Toolkit, and the SQL Toolkit Compatibility vis. Everything seemed to be going okay with the higher level SQL operations, but I ran into trouble with the Get Column Name.vi.
    The pictures below show the problem. The original SQL Toolkit connected the Prepare SQL.vi with the Get Column Name.vi with a cluster of two references, one for connection, and one for sql. The new compatibility vis have a class conflict in the wire because the Prepare SQL.vi contains a cluster with connection, and command references, but the Get Column Name.vi expects a cluster with connection and recordset references.
    How do I resolve this conflict?
    Thank You.
    Dan

    I've never worked with the old version of the toolkit, so I don't know how it did things, but looking inside the SQL prep VI, it only generates a command, and the the column name VI wants a recordset. I'm not super familiar with all the internals of ADO, but my understanding is that is standard - you only have the columns after you execute the command and get the recordset back. What you can apparently do here is insert the Execute Prepared SQL VI in the middle and that will return what you need.
    I'm not sure why it worked before. Maybe the execute was hidden inside the prep VI or maybe you can get the column names out of the command object before execution. In general, I would recommend considering switching to the newer VIs.

  • Class conflict when programmatically editing graphs with property node

    I am trying to programmatically move the cursors on a graph. I want the cursor to look the same on 2 different graphs so I made a subVI. The code works correctly when I have seperate property nodes, but when I try to use the subVI, I get a class conflict -
    "You have connected a refnum of one type to a refnum of another type and both types are members of some class hierarchy, but there is neither a simple up cast nor type cast between the two classes."
    I am not sure how to fix this. The graph that works is of a waveform, and the graph that doesn't is the output of the FFT Power Spectrum VI. Is the problem that the inputs are different? Or is there some kind of resource conflict when using property nodes in subVIs?

    A shot in the dark here.  But maybe if you make the subVI's input reference of type GraphChart it would work.

  • Problem with jquery slide show conflict with vertical navigation menu in Firefox & Chrome

    Problem with jquery slide show conflict with vertical navigation menu in Firefox & Chrome. Works in IE. This is my first time trying to post a question - so please be kind. I am also not good with code and am finding css a real challenge after learning to design based on tables. I'm using CS5.
    The "test" page with the slide show is: http://www.reardanwa.com/index-slides.html   The same page without the slide show is http://www.reardanwa.com/
    I realize the images are not ideally sized - I'll fix those once I get the pages to function.  Maybe I need a different slide show? I would prefer a widget that I can modify to required size & postition. Again - I'm not good at building with code from scratch.
    The problem is the naviagation links that are directly next to the slide show do not work in Firefox of Chrome. They do work in IE.
    I've read about using jQuery.noConflict(); code but can't figure out the correct way to use it in my case or whether that's even part of the solution. I know my code is not well organized as I have cobbled together from various sources in an attempt to format the page the way the client wants it. Also, FYI, I will eventually try to make the page work in Surreal CMS.
    I've spent sevaral days over the last several weeks trying to solve sth slide show/navigation conflict - so any specific light you can shed will be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to get web application to use Tuscany without conflicting with SAP SDO

    Hi,
    We are attempting to run a web application on SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 SP1 which uses Tuscany SDO.  As it now stands We must use Tuscany because the web application will not run with the SAP SDO implementation provided by Netweaver. To ensure that Tuscany is loaded with priority, we have packaged the Tuscany JAR files and their dependencies as a heavy resource, as described here:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60642a88-95fe-2b10-d387-a245d48fc257?overridelayout=true
    The final check showed that Tuscany was correctly deployed as a heavy resource and included the following JAR files:
    common-2.2.3.jar
    ecore-2.2.3.jar
    ecore-change-2.2.3.jar
    ecore-xmi-2.2.3.jar
    tuscany-sdo-impl-1.1.1.jar
    tuscany-sdo-lib-1.1.1.jar
    tuscany-sdo-tools-1.1.1.jar
    xsd-2.2.3.jar
    We also verified that the web application using Tuscany has a hard reference to the Tuscany heavy resource.
    However, when we try to run the web application, the following error is logged:  java.lang.LinkageError: Class commonj/sdo/DataGraph violates loader constraints
    The issue is definitely due to some kind of classloading conflict with the SAP SDO library, as the application runs normally when SAP SDO is manually removed from the classpath. Doing this on a production system is unfortunately not an option, though.
    So the question is: how to get web application to use Tuscany without conflicting with SAP SDO?

    I took a look at the "printerReady" example.  Looks like I may be able to use the InetPing (...) function to ping through a range of IP addresses looking for a response.
    Any ideas on how to find the MAC address associated with the IP addresses that respond?
    We may have multiple units responding and the MAC address will allow the operator to determing which unit to connect to.
    I'll try the InetPing to see how it works,

  • Flex SDK 4 : mx.chart package and declaration of style 'direction' conflicts with previous declaration problem

    Hi There,
    We have recently downloaded SDK 4 and had configured the same for
    developement in flex builder 3, we are already using SDK 3.0. However
    to our surprise there were compile time error reported for mx.chart
    related classes. To resolve this we thought to import relevant .swc
    like datavisualization, automation from sdk 3.0, and it worked and
    resolved compile time error. But we landed up in on more problem that
    is 'Declaration of style 'direction' conflicts with previous
    declaration in E:\Softwares\FlexBuilder\sdks\SDK 4\frameworks\libs
    \datavisualization.swc(mx/charts/GridLines)'.
    If you could pleas help us to resolve these issues and also if you
    could answer these queries would be good
    1) SDK 4 has been declared to be open source, then why mx.chart
    package is not part of it?
    2) Why would 'Declaration of style 'direction' conflicts with previous
    declaration' occur?
    3) What are the other component and packages that are not part of open
    source for which license is still required?
    Waiting for reponse in anticipation.
    Thanks,

    I got this same error with the following setup.
    1. Building a SWC with Flex 4.0 Beta2 on FlashBuilder4
    2. SWC references other SWC that are built with Flex3.
    3. Define a <mx:ColumnChart id="column" ...> in a Flex4 skin.
    4. Got this compiler error.
    Any idea if this is not supposed to work? I'm hoping I don't need all referenced swcs to be recompiled with Flex4 SDK. Some of those are external dependency that I do not have source code access.
    Thanks for any help.

  • Help with x64: fatal error LNK1112: module machine type 'X86' conflicts with target machine type 'x64'

    Hello, I am trying to complie some C code for some applications I am working on in labview (I am using Labview 2012 64bit).
    When I try to build my code in Visual C++ 2010 ( I have set it up to be able to use x64) I get the following fatal error:
    nivision.lib(StartupShutdown.obj) : fatal error LNK1112: module machine type 'X86' conflicts with target machine type 'x64'
    Which I understand that .lib does not have a 64bit compatability. However, if I were to use 32bit code, how can I link/emulate it to my 64bit labview? Is there a good tutorial on this application? The problem is the rest of my application uses and requires 64bit labview, so I am stuck in this enviroment.
    Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply. The C code I have cross correlates images, and it does reference the image inputs and size variables from the nivision classes. I am thinking of using a side by side labview environment with shared variables. I have not done this before, do you have any good examples? Can you make the library function node a shared variable or only the elements within it?
    I guess I could try to convert to labview, but the are a lot of lines of code that I would prefer not to try to wrap my head around in translation.
    The LabVIEW API in Vision Development Module has functions that let you get access to all those parameters as well as the raw image data pointer. A common design is to query those items on the LabVIEW diagram and then pass them to your DLL. This would mean you wouldn't need to make any calls into the Vision DLL from your C code.
    As for examples showing how to use shared variables, keep in mind that it isn't just like doing a function call. The more appropriate way to think of it would be communicating with another VI by getting and setting controls and indicators while it runs. You could put all your arguments into a shared variable and set a boolean indicating it is ready, then wait for another boolean to go high indicating the other code has finished and placed its results in another shared variable. Your application code interacts with the shared variables just like a control/indicator/local variable. This of course is a simple description and I would not be surprised if there are well-defined frameworks/examples searchable in the forums that use shared variables in this manner.

  • MainStage message: possible conflict with third party midi or audio drivers

    Just when I thought everything was going to be ok...
    MainStage gives me a message that it detects a possible conflict with third party audio or midi drivers. The only midi device I'm using is class compliant (doesn't need a driver). My audio interface is an Apogee Duet and I'm using the most recent driver. Logic registers no such complaint. MainStage freezes. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hello.
    I am seeing this whenever MIDI events are being sent into either Logic or MainStage (primarily MainStage), while they are launching. On my setup, this will either crash the application during launch, ( sent to Apple ) or trigger this "...3rd party conflict / driver..." dialog.
    In either instance, disabling incoming MIDI messages by turning them off on all connected MIDI devices, or as suggested, waiting to connect the device in question until, the application is fully launched, fixes my version of this issue.
    ** Please Note: In my experience, increasing the number incoming MIDI messages, exacerbates the issue and, makes a dialog or crash more likely to occur.
    Hope this is helpful.

    Hi Experts,
    I need help with retreiving log files for multiple server instances with multiple cluster nodes. The system is Netweaver 7.01.
    There are 3 server instances all instances with 3 cluster nodes.
    There are EJB session beans deployed on them to retreive the log information for each server node.
    In the session bean there is a method:

    Thanks for the response.
    I was afraid that it would be something like that although
    was hoping for
    something closer to the application pools we use with IIS to
    isolate sites
    and limit the impact one badly behaving one can have on
    another.

  • Bootstrap3/BC Menu dropdown conflict with module_photogallery

    I'm building a site using Bootstrap3 framework, with BC Dynamic Menu (with jQuery courtesy Joe Watkins) for main navigation.  Dropdowns (click or hover) working beautifully until I add a photogallery module, then the dropdown links disappear on click, which is a major problem on touchscreens.  I've removed all things piece-by-piece to determine the dropdown links disappear 100% of the time when a photogallery module is on the page, and work appropriately 100% of the time without a photogallery present (well, 1 exception - i'm seeing same issue on Layouts/OnlineShop/large_product.html).
    Does anyone have any recommendations to fix this conflict with my Menu Nav dropdown links and the photogallery module?  Really, really appreciate any suggestions.  Unfortunately, the site nav is rendered non-functional on touchscreens due to these disappearing dropdown link conflicts (only Home and Smile Gallery links are not dropdowns).
    EXAMPLES
    Here are 3 examples of pages with a photogallery/dropdown conflict on click.  To test issue, click the main nav dropdown links (e.g. "Locations, Treatment, etc":
    Smile Gallery
    Rapid City, SD
    Spearfish, SD
    I'm right in the middle of transitioning this site to the responsive framework, so not all links will work. Here are 3 examples of Nav links working properly on click (no photogallery module):
    Results - Before & After
    Evaluation
    Smile For A Lifetime
    REFERENCE
    I do not understand jQuery very well, I've pieced together what I could to make it all work.  Here are the 2 scripts I use to get the BC Menu to work:
    // - - - - -  Dropdown Menu v2 - JOE WATKINS.IO Dropdown Menu Toggle - - - - - - - - - - -
    dropdownNavTweak : function(){
    var $navContainer = $(".nav"),
      $dropdownItems = $navContainer.find("li.dropdown");
      $dropdownItems.each(function(){
      var $parentItem = $(this).find("a:first");
      $parentItem.addClass("dropdown-toggle").attr("data-toggle","dropdown").append(" <em class='icon-caret-down'></em>");
      $(this).children("ul").removeClass().addClass("dropdown-menu");
      $dropdownItems.show();  // shows dropdown images to prevent flicker - use CSS to hide " .nav li.dropdown {display:none;}" or ".navbar-nav li.dropdown {display:none;}" or  ".navbarMinor-nav li.dropdown {display:none;}"
    },  // end dropdownNavTweak  (Comma needed if others follow}
    ... and ...
    //////- -MENU- ////////
    jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
        jQuery('.navbar .dropdown').hover(function() {
            jQuery(this).addClass('extra-nav-class').find('.dropdown-menu').first().stop(true, true).delay(200).slideDown();
        }, function() {
            var na = $(this);
            if (jQuery('.spanFloatLeftIfMobile').css('float') == "none") {
                na.find('.dropdown-menu').first().stop(true, true).delay(500).slideUp('fast', function(){ na.removeClass('extra-nav-class') })

    Hi Matthew,
    Having a super quick look at the code I'd say it's because of:
    ul.dropdown li.selected a {
        color: #ff871f;
    This affects all the child elements.
    To override this down the line you could do something like:
    ul.dropdown li.selected ul li a {
        color: #fff;
    This would override the parent link color when selected.
    You could probably then also add:
    ul.dropdown li.selected ul li.selected a {
        color: #ff871f;
    For the dropdown selected states.
    That's a quick look though so don't quote me too much

  • Class conflict upon import

    I've got the most ugly sub VI ever created (not by mysself) that I've been tasked with maintaining and upgrading.  It's a quagmire, but it's a quagmire that works with a couple minor exceptions.  It was written using LabVIEW 7.0.  One of my todos is to make it work under Windows 7.  To that end, plus several bug in LabVIEW 7.0 which are well past the point of expecting anyone to maintain, I've tried to import it into LabVIEW 2010.  I have one "Wire: Class conflict" errors upon the automatic upgrade that I can't figure out how to resolve.  It is a reference to a tab control that is wired into an Insert into Array VI.
    Detail: You have connected a refnum of one type to a refnum of another type and both types are members of some class hierarchy, but there is neither a simple up cast nor type cast between the two classes.
    Warning: the attached VI is the worst of a collection of what-not-to-do VIs I am dealing with.  I'll remove it as soon as I resolve this issue, due to sheer embarassment.

    I figured it out myself.
    1. Create a constant to the Insert Into Array VI
    2. Use that constant as Target Class to To More Specific Class VI
    3. Use the original property node as reference to To More Specific Class VI
    4. Disconnect the constant created in step #1, connect the output from To More Specific Class VI
    Huh, no edit nor delete on the original post.  Oh well.
