Copying WBS element (a/c assignment ) from sales order to Service order

HI Controllers,
I got one requirement it is , we need to copy the account assignment (WBS element ) from sales order line item to service order line item . Morever same wbs element shud be used to create automatic settlement rule in service order.
This should also work even if user changes the WBS element later. i.e, updated WBS element should again update service order and settlement rule automatically.

Hi Sneha
You can use Exit MV45AFZB in order to copy the account assignment objects... Use the Form USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_COBL with in MV45AFZB
You can use the same exit to update your settlement rule as well

Products not copied from Sales Quotation to Service Order

Hi All,
I am trying to create a Service Quotation as a follow up to a Sales order. There are multiple line items in the Sales Order - ex: 1 sales item and 1 service item.
I want to create a service order as a follow up to the sales order and want the servie item to get copied into it automatically but this does not happen. The service item from the sales order is not getting copied into the service order despite of the copy control settings.
Any ideas?

Hi Swetha,
Make sure before creating a follow up , the Service Items are released .(System Status = Released) and by enabling copy control configuration , you should be able to copy the line items in follow up document.

How material transfers from sales order to service order

Hi All,
In case of sales order (Debit memo request or quotation) created from service order, material in service order is transferred to sales order via DIP profile.
but in case of,
service order created from sales order how the material flows from sales order to service order.
In customer service module.

If Service Order gets created from Sales order, operations & components are transferred to Service order through Service Product assignment in Sales Order.
Service Product will be created in MM01 & this will be linked to Task list in OISD. By assigning this Service Product in Sales Order, Service order will be created automatically with the assigned Task list.

Problem with sales order and Service order

Dear Guru's
We have a real problem with sales orders and service orders and how we treat these. For a project that uses a WBS, it's not a problem to manipulate SAP to give us a list of shortages (orders with no or limited supply) for each order, but for some reason our after sales orders and our service orders do not work this way.

Hi Gurus,
Can anyone please tell me how to go about writing LSMW's for open notifications,open sales order & open service order.
This is for service processing in CS ,where has the scenario is
Create Notification (IW51) --> create Sales Order(Multiple Line Items) ( VA02) --> Create Service Order ( IW32)
Service order is automatically (Item Proposal) generated w.r.t Sales Order (multiple line items)
How to I do the recording for transactions in such a scenario.

WBS element field mandatory for specific sales order

Hi Friends,
I want to make the WBS element field in sale order line item to be mandatory for a specific sales order type. I am not able to add this field in incompletion log also. So can anyone let me know the solution for this.

Hi,
As solution suggest above is correct use VBAP table and Field is PS_PSP_PNR into ur incompletion log and assign this procedure to ur Item category. And If u want to WBS element check at header level the use VBAK table and field PS_PSP_PNR and assign this incompletion log to ur sales document type.
Once more setting is required to stop the order from saving if incompletion check is unsucessful, for that you need to check a checkbox named "Incomplete. Message" in VOV8 tcode, for ur perticular sales document types.
Hope this will resolve ur problem.

Report: Statistical WBS elements with assets assigned to them - actual cost

I would like to run a report that gave me this info:
WBS Element (all statistical)
Assets assigned to each WBS
Actual costs
It would be perfect CJI3 but it doesn't show assets. In AM I haven't see either any report that shows WBS elements...
any ideas???

Hi
There is not a standard report which can cater to your requirements. You need to develop one.
You can take the refernece from CNS41 report for development. Some of the fields you need are PRPS-XSTAT for statistical WBS and will have to use tables ANLA and ANLC to fetch asset master data.

The question is:
Example:
I have 100 WBS Elements. Each of them has an average of 5 assets assigned. (what makes 500 assets)
I post lot of invoices in each asset.
I would like a report that tells me at once the total actual amount posted in each ASSET and group those costs by each WBS element.

Hierarchy Graphics Copy Copy WBS Element

Hi All,
We are haiving one issue as user is trying to use Copy function in Hierarchy Graphics to create new WBS Element but unfortunaltely user is not able to save WBS Element. After clicking save function - Validation Message pop-ups cpme then directly Exit Project pop-up appears. So frankly speaking dont know why this is happening. I have checked with user and user is following proper procedure to do this thing.
Do you have any clue in this matter?

Actually Validation message I can ignore as these are just warning messages but after that Exit Project Message pop-up appears with message text as :
The data you have entered will be lost-
Do you want to save the data?
if user clicks on Yes then also nothing happens and user unable to save the WBS Element.

Level One WBS Element as Acct Assignment Element

Dear Friend's
My user have created one project, In that there are various levels WBS Elements.
Normally we never tick Level One WBS Element as a Acct Assignment Element.But User have made Level One WBS Element as Acct Assg Element and then Project is Released.So now I can't remove that tick because that field is Grayed out or Freezed.
Now i wanted to Remove or Undo Release status and then I have to remove Acct Assg Element Tick.
Pls guide me on this issue.

I had not seen this problem before. So i checked it in my system. But i didn't see this
happening for me.
I think once system status is in REL (released) status you cannot reverse it. According to me Acct.
assignment field become gray only when posting is made against that WBS and not after release.
Pls check it and inform.

Trigger IRODER Idoc from IW31 while creating service order

Hi,
Iam trying to trigger an IDoc for service Order from IW31 transaction. I found the Idoc IORDER is for service order and one way of doing it is from IORD transaction.(Please correct me IORDER is not the correct Idoc !!) However, we dont have status profiles maintained for our order type, so Iam not able to use this method. Could anyone tell me if there is any other way to trigger the same?

Hello Sandeep,
Sales Representative is a partner funtion. You need to enter this partner function with a BP in the parties involved assignment block.
As for the pop up, it is controlded bu the partner determination procedure. Based on the partner determniation procedure used, if there are more than one sales representative found, there would be the pop for selection.

Assign EQUNR to VORNR in Service Order

I'm using R/3 v4.70. After a Service Order has been created via a Service Notification, I need to 1. Add new Operation(s); 2. Add new Equipment(s); and 3. Assign those equipments to the appropriate operations. The problem arises in that the user does not want to execute IW32 on-line, and wants the modification done via BDC, BAPI or whatever in custom ABAP program.
The problem is this...the operations and equipments can be added easily. However, from the objects tab in IW32, we choose the "Assignments" action button and proceed to a pop-up screen with tree and node structure. Adding one operation and one equipment at a time results in one available node, which is the simplest way to do the associations. But, SAP does not "see" the selection of the node on the SAPLIOPEXT 0300 screen (on single click), or if it does, SAP assigns some temporary value like '%_GC 163 22' to the OK_CODE upon double-click, but the value is not consistent. It may change (or remain the same) on each subsequent entry to the screen. SAP does see the OK_CODE WEIT, and proceeds normally whether or not the relationship actually gets created (or whether double-click did or did not occur).
Questions: How does one accomplish this one-to-one assignment of object to operation in IW32 outside of the OLTP environment? Or, is there an alternative transaction, BAPI, or ? that will result in creation of this relationship?
I note that SAP is using FM IOPOL_RELATION_CREATE internally...Is there a way we can somehow replicate that action (which appears to ultimately result in an entry in table OBJK) outside of IW32?

SAP has responded. We're going to use some development that I already have, which updates IW32 for activities (operations) and objects (equipments), and saves. Subsequently, I have a custom function module which looks at operations and objects (AFVC and OBJK), searches OPROL for the links and calls the SAP function module IOPOL_RELATION_CREATE. At the end of the process, I commit work to cause the update buffer contents to be pushed to OPROL.

Dectivate pricing condition for sales order not service order.

We are on ECC6.0 and CRM5.0
I need to add new condition type to the existing pricing procedure.It should be activtaed only for service orders and not for sales order.I can achive this by adding new requirement in pricing procedure to limit this condition type based on order type.
Example: if KOMK-AUART eq ORDER_TYPE.
sy-subrc = 0.
But I don't want to do this,because I would need to change this requirement everytime I add new service order type.
Is there any field in Pricing structure KOMK bu using which we can achieve this. ?
Please suggest any other idea by which I can achieve this

Currently ,we have one pricing procedures for both the scenarios...
We control if the perticular condition type to be active or not by writing a requirement which checks the order types.
This has been done this way because we built the pricing procedure in ECC and tranfer it to CRM.Also we donot have service orders in ECC.
any further alternatives guys..
