Detailed error message in sxmb_moni

Hi guys,
is it possible to get detailed error information in sxmb_moni like the error information in the integration repository when using the test tag
sample error message in test tab
+ns0:ZMOZPRUCK_envelope_update/ns0:ZMOZZFZT_update[4]/ns0:dbTableName/ns0:access/ns0:SPRAS.+
in sxmb_moni the error message is truncated
sample
+During mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_JDBC_ZPRUCK_2_ZMOZPRUCK_envelope_u~ a RuntimeException occurred. com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException:RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation: Cannot produce target element /ns0:ZMOZPRUCK_en~</+
This will save myself for copy/paste the payload in the test tab. In case of big message the Java GUI of the ESR lacks and it is impossible to test the mapping with such big messages.
any suggestions on that?
Thanks

  • SSIS - Getting the detailed error message from a FTP Task

    Greetings all,
    I'm working on a SSIS package that pulls a file down from an FTP server, then has its way with it.
    Under expected conditions, everything is working perfectly. However, I never want to download the same file twice. In order to enforce this, I just set the OverWriteFileAtDest option to false. Obviously, if the file has already been brought over, the package
    fails. This is the intended functionality.
    However, in such a case I want to handle the error separately. Now, when I setup a EventHandler to deal with it, the error message that's passed over is:
    "Error: An error occurred in the requested FTP operation"
    Oh joy. Ambiguity at its finest. However, the detailed description is:
    "Receiving file "/server/folder/file.XLS". File "\\server\folder\file.XLS" already exists.
    Try as I might, I can't seem to capture the detailed error message so that I can act on it. I'm looking for a way to capture this info, pass it to an expression, and then handle it from there.
    Thanks!

    Did you try enabling logging for the package and capturing it in SQL table which case you should get error messages in sysssislog table

  • Unable to apply connection settings. The detailed error message is: 'NoCount' is not a recognized option

    My corporate database wizards have created a login for my small subsidiary to use to read selected data from the HR database.  It's meant to be used by an SSIS package to bring over data on who's a current employee and who's not.
    The package has started returning connection errors, and when I try to log into the HR database via SSMS using this login I get the following message:
    "Unable to apply connection settings.  The detailed error message is" 'NoCount' is not a recognized option."
    If I click on OK I can still log in, but it looks like this error is causing SSIS to produce an error.  I've seen articles on vaguely similar errors logging onto an Azure database, but this one's on SQL Server 2012.
    Anybody got any ideas?  Is there something I can change at my end, or is it a change that has to be made in the remote DB?

    I'm getting confused seeing this
    The package has started returning connection errors, and when I try to log into the HR database via SSMS using this login
    I get the following message:
    Whats the purpose of SSIS package if you're trying to connect to DB using SSMS?

  • Getting more detailed error messages from Adobe Acrobat

    Hi
    Is there a way to get more detailed error messages from Adobe Acrobat reader when he detecs an error in a PDF file?
    My program generates PDF files. There is one that throws an error in Acrobat while GhostScript and Google Chromes PDF Reader display it correctly.
    I wonder where the error is, but the error message is just "expected dictionary", when I hold CTRL and press "OK".
    GhostScript usually gives useful error messages, but it has no error this time.

    More specifically, Acrobat Pro!

  • DSEE 6.3: how to show detailed error messages to ldap clients?

    Is there any possibilty in DSEE 6.3 to send to ldap clients detailed error messages about - for example - missing required attributes in ldap add operation?
    I don't have access to ldap server's logs, so I loose a lot of time trying to figure out "which of 40 attributes I sent to server is bad?"...

    Thank you for reply.
    I know that I can view schema, but I need the functionality which is available in relational databases. When I try to store bad field value in database table, I get descriptive error message: "field XYZ has bad value". In DSEE I get "schema violation" or other cryptic message.
    It's very hard to track the problem if you operate on 30 or more attributes. Which one causes error?
    I see that this functionality is available in DSEE backend (error logs are descriptive). How to turn on this for clients?
    If it is not possible, I will try to write special software module which will double DSEE functionality and check attributes before storing them in DSEE.

  • Detailled error messages

    I'd like to see detailled error messages when using the JSP tags provided by the reference implementation. Presently, if you misspell a tag name, omit an attribute etc. all you get is a ServletException from the FacesServlet saying "Unable to compile class for JSP". It is not too easy to find an error based just on that message.

  • Detailed Error Messages

    We're upgrading from CF8 to CF10.  One of the things I always liked about Coldfusion was that it gave some pretty detailed error messages by default, so that you could see roughly where your code was exploding at.
    I'm working through updating the places in the code where there's things not compatible before I upgrade on the server, but these generic error messages are pretty useless.  Is there any way to get the older style of error messages back in CF10, atleast on the development machine?  I'm using the built in web server.

    Hi
    In ColdFusion 10 Administrator, Debugging & Logging > Debug Output Settings check the first 3 options.
    Enable Robust Exception Information
    Enable Robust Exception Information
    Enable Request Debugging Output

  • Detailed error messages from jaxb validation

    Hi,
    I am developing an application that uses jaxb. When I validate an XML documenmt I am creating using the generated code, and validate the object the error message I get is not very detailed.
    I have a type that containes three elements. One of the elements is an enumeration. If i put an invalid value into that element in the type, and validate, the validation says :
    javax.xml.bind.ValidationException - with linked exception: [com.sun.xml.bind.serializer.AbortSerializationException: the value is not a member of the enumeration.]
    It does not mention the element name, or the possible values of the enumration or the value set.
    If I validate in oxygen XML or another tool it tells me the name of the element and possible values.
    How do I do this in my code?
    I have already made my own validator from a copy of DefaultValidationHandler and run that, but in that code I only get a handle to the top level complexType.
    How do I get the information about which child element relates to the error message? Or is there another strategy to get this info ?
    Thanks
    Paul.

  • Detailed Error Message

    Hi,
    our customer wants to display the detailed errormessage, if a user logon to portal 6.0 SP13 with wrong username or wrong password.
    Today, only one message will displayed
    Do somone know, how I can show more?
    Best regards
    Christian

    Hi,
    This is very difficult to do using the standard portal
    login framework.
    In order to make any changes on it, you need to create a new loginmodule which somehow needs to now the overall failure of the login (not sure if you even are able to do that).
    This login module must throw a special expcetion
    8      import com.sap.engine.lib.security.LoginExceptionDetails;
    9      import javax.security.auth.login.FailedLoginException;
    10
    11     public class CustomLoginException extends FailedLoginException
    12         implements LoginExceptionDetails
    13     {
    14
    15         public CustomLoginException (String msg)
    16         {
    17             super(msg);
    18         }
    19
    20         public byte getExceptionCause()
    21         {
    22             return LoginExceptionDetails.USER_IS_CURRENTLY_NOT_VALID;
    23         }
    24     }
    The part of the code which determine the error message is the getExceptionCause. The possible values are defined in interface
    14         public static final byte WRONG_USERNAME_PASSWORD_COMBINATION = 0;
    15         public static final byte PASSWORD_EXPIRED = 1;
    16         public static final byte USER_IS_CURRENTLY_NOT_VALID = 2;
    17         public static final byte USER_IS_LOCKED = 3;
    18         public static final byte CERTIFICATE_IS_NOT_TRUSTED = 4;
    19         public static final byte NO_USER_MAPPED_TO_THIS_CERTIFICATE = 5;
    20         public static final byte SAP_LOGON_TICKET_HAS_EXPIRED = 6;
    21         public static final byte SAP_LOGON_TICKET_IS_NOT_TRUSTED = 7;
    22         public static final byte UNABLE_TO_CREATE_SAP_LOGON_TICKET = 8;
    23         public static final byte EMERGENCY_USER_IS_ACTIVE = 9;
    24         public static final byte UNABLE_TO_PASS_SAP_LOGON_TICKET = 10;
    25         public static final byte UNABLE_TO_GET_SAP_LOGON_TICKET = 11;
    26         public static final byte DIGEST_CREDENTIALS_NOT_VALID = 12;
    27         public static final byte P4_TICKET_NOT_VALID = 13;
    28         public static final byte ACTIVE_USERS_LIMIT_RECHED = 14;
    29         public static final byte USER_ALREADY_LOGGED_IN = 15;
    30         public static final byte USER_NOT_LOGGED_IN = 16;
    31         public static final byte NO_LOGIN_MODULE_SUCCEEDED = 17;
    32         public static final byte IO_EXCEPTION = 18;
    There might be other methods, but then you probably need to do changes in the umLogon.jsp page and somehow find out which event that did indeed happen, but as far as I know there is no "standard" easy way to do this.

  • How to get more detailed error messages when using Oracle JDBC

    Here are some typical Oracle error messages that leave you guessing :
    "ORA-01722: invalid number"
    "ORA-00904: invalid column name"
    Is there any way to find out which number or which column name is invalid ?
    Why doesn't Oracle include this information in the error messages ? If it knows the number or column is invalid, it must know the number or column name !

    Launch the query under sqlplus, it'll tell u :
    SQL> select user_id, userna from dba_users ;
    select user_id, userna from dba_users

  • How to get order's detail error message

    Now, when I check order with t-code: crmd_order.
    I can see  error in  GUI :Item 10 Pricing error: Mandatory condition missing.
    But how can  I get the message with FM or other code?

    Hi Ping su,
    Check the function group 'CRM_MESSAGES' you will get bunch of function modules which deals with messages. In my scenario I had to look for a message in order lineitem and if that error message is present in the order I had to take further action. Here is what I did :
      DATA:ls_bal_s_msgidno  TYPE bal_s_idno,
           lt_bal_r_msgidno1 TYPE bal_r_idno,
           lt_bal_r_msgidno2 TYPE bal_r_idno,
           lt_msg_handle     TYPE bal_t_msgh.
      ls_bal_s_msgidno-sign = 'I'.
      ls_bal_s_msgidno-option = 'EQ'.
      ls_bal_s_msgidno-low-msgid = 'ZMESSAGES'.
      ls_bal_s_msgidno-low-msgno = 002.
      APPEND ls_bal_s_msgidno TO lt_bal_r_msgidno2.
      LOOP AT lt_orderadm_i INTO ls_orderadm_i.
    *   Check if the message is available in the log.
