Dynamically adding a repeating subform is not working in Guided Procedures

Hi,
I created an Adobe XML form file (.xdp) with a button and a subform. In the button click event I wrote javascipt to add a new subform. This is working fine from the PDF preview with in the Adobe Live Cycle Designer.
Then I used this template in an interactive from Callable object and generated a PDF from the server. The button click is not adding a new subform from this PDF. What could be the problem? Do I have to enable something on the server side?

the credential file is a certificate that Adobe creates allowing different kind of hidden features in Reader. Now as far as I remember a dynamic AND interactive PDF like ability to add/delete rows to a line items table on a PDF requires certified forms which is a special certificate not the one offered for free by SAP for
- interactive PDF
- non-interactive PDF
- dynamic AND non-interactive PDF
Maybe Matthias Zeller from Adobe or Markus Meisl from SAP in the Interactive Adobe Form forum can tell you where to get that special key

Repeatable subform is not displaying contents

I have a number of subforms within my main form - one of the subforms can have multiple instances so I've set it as repeatable, etc. The initial instance of the subform can be invoked from a number of different dropdown lists elsewhere in the form. Now then, I can display the repeatable subform but when I try to display other subforms within the repeatable subform, nothing is appearing - it just shows a space where the content should be! I've set the content of the repeatable subform to be hidden in the layout-ready event of the repeatable subform but still nothing is being displayed.
It's made even more strange as I have another repeatable subform elsewhere in the form and this displays fine.
Any ideas what could be the issue? Has anyone come across this before?

Using the layout:ready event to show/hide content is a risky business, I have seen inconsitant results in the past, works in one place and not another.
According to the manual ...
Note: Scripts that fire on layout:ready should not do anything that would cause the layout of the form to change. For example, this would include anything involving subforms or tables that grow or shrink, adding fragments dynamically at run time, adding or removing subform instances, and toggling the presence setting of an object between hidden and visible.

Dynamic Table with repeating Subform

Hello,
I am maiking a form which has a Dynamic Table with a repeating Subform. The repeating subform has a dropdown list field which has three options for the user to pic. "LABOR", "EQUIPT.", & "MATL."
The way I want the form to work is the user will choose which item they want to add to the form with the dropdown list. Whatever amount they put into the "Amount" column will go to the corresponding total "LABORTotal", "EQUIPTTotal", & "MATLTotal"
The repeating Subform is basically the Row1, but I have the table split up into subforms because of issues I had eariler with the form. The repeating subform title is "detail".
I cannot get the sums for the 3 items to go into the corresponding totals field. This is the script that I have for the labor total field:

Okay,

The issue wasn't the script. If you select the dropdown and go to the Object > Binding palette, you will see you had ticked "Specify values" and these were set to 1, 2 and 3.
This meant that if the user selected LABOR, the value of the dropdown was "1" and NOT "LABOR". This was throwing the if statement.
I deselected the specify values and it worked as expected.

The Dynamic rooting setting is not working in the Nakisa OrgChart SP3.
It is giving an error message - "Cannot find the root of your orgchart. The orgchart box may have been deleted or incorrectly specified, or no valid org structure can be found for the selected effective date. Please change the root of the chart or select another effective date."
We followed the same steps as given in the Admin guide of SP3 (P.no. 109 - shown below)
In Orgchart --> General Settings:
* Select the Org chart root value source.
User Record: Retrieves the record specified in the next step from the employee data element.
*Do one of the following to define the org chart root:
If User Record was selected in the previous step, select the field containing the ID of the required organizational object in the employee data element from the User record field drop-down list. For example, if you wish to root the org chart at the org unit of the logged-in user, select the field containing the org unit ID. Hence, we have selected the Org unit ID.
Note:
We had enabled single sign-on with logon tickets
Retained the standard settings in Security Settings --> Employee Source
Had provided full authorization to the roles
If we use the "OrgChart Root" option available in 'Orgchart root value source', the org structure gets displayed correctly from the root object defined.
As this is an standard functionality, Kindly guide us in resolving the issue.

Ravindra.
You don't have to and shouldn't always include the username and password parameters for the SAP Connection string. When you omit them it will use the user's login credentials.
Remember though that:
The SAPRoleMappingConnection will need them included in order to get the details for the user in the first place.
Without the username and password specified in a connection string you can't click the option to test the connection and result in a successful connection. Remember unable to connect does not necessarily equate to wrongly configured.

At the very least it looks like SAPPositionVacancyDataElement is missing and whilst the other errors around it are unfamiliar I wonder if it might be a good first step to see if you can track down the reference to and existence of this data element? That being said it looks like your last test occurred well over an hour after this (so you may have already resolved it) and resulted in nothing but information messages. If that is the case it might be worth "rolling" your log file or manually trimming it to the right time frame when posting it? Otherwise it can be misleading as people could flag up issues you have already resolved.
So assuming you haven't tried Luke's suggestion (which should only take a couple of minutes to do) I think you should go back and do so right away .

Dynamic resizing in JDialog using setSize is not working properly on solaris, its work fine on windows.
i have set Jdialog size to setSize(768,364),
when i dynamically resizing it to setSize(768,575); it doesn't get change but when i move dialog using mouse it gets refreshed.
this problem is only happening on solaris not on windows.

It's only an approach but try a call of validate() or repaint() after re-setting the size of your dialog.

Repeat processing does not work properly - label printing MB90

Hi,
I created a custom label for 261 & 262 movement types. For this i created a custom page formats and needed settings.
The system seems to behave strange. when i try to print from MB90 for processing mode 1. The form output is as desired.
But when i try to repeat processing for previously processed item, it doesn't show the font size and all properly.
I tried to debug, everything is fine, triggers right form, infact i debuged the form also its the correct one. But does'nt show output properly.
Also for the new data whne i process and do repeat proecessing print it works...
Why it does not work for existing data in the system? Why it is behaving strange when it picks up same form.

This was because... the output type configuration was changed to different printer.

JSF : Dynamic link generated by commandLink does not work

1) Throw your code away and use h:dataTable instead of c:forEach to render a table of dynamic size.
or:
2) Hand-assign every UIInput and UICommand element inside the loop an unique ID. E.g. "commandLinkId" + loopIndex

Can everybody try to play mode "repeat track"? In my zen micro it doesn't work properly..
When i use that mode it is working like normal mode.. Is this a bug or my firmware does not work properly..

Added barracuda LB. owa 2010 not working on virtual IP - works using host IP. IIS home page works on virtual IP

I have 2 exchange servers in a DAG. (exc1 and exc2) (DAG is called: outlook.domain.com)
I added 2 load balancers in front of them to distribute the load + ensure uptime for the users.
the load balancers have a virtual IP - 192.168.1.33
there is an A record in DNS pointing to this IP called: outlook.domain.com
SSL offloading is enabled and certificate has been imported to the LBs
Outlook clients work just fine using outlook.domain.com - everything OK
OWA works using https://exc1/owa and https://exc2/owa
but OWA does NOT work using Https://outlook.domain.com/owa
I get "connection reset"
IIS front page works just fine (https://outlook.domain.com gives iis7 welcome page) - its only when I add /owa to it, that the error appears.
any ideas?

I'm skimming so may be missing something.
You can have session persistence using IP affinity, but depending on what you want to publish and achieve you may need to inspect the traffic on the LB. I was curious as it adds a bit more complexity.
And is Outlook 2010 upto date? What is the exact build string on a client that is getting the prompt please? This is a person bugbear of mine:

Adding attachment via File browse not working

Hi, I'm using Apex 4.1.1 through GlassFish server 3.1.1. Recently I've imported my database application and after running my app, adding of an attachment isn't working anymore. Before I used Apex via Emb. PL/SQL Gateway(from which I've exported app sql) and everything worked just fine. My code for adding attachment is like this:

Dynamic src in ui:include ajax not working

I'm migrating my application to JSF 2. We are using Richfaces 4 implementation.
We have a need, that a menu item, triggers an Ajax function, that sets a page name (xhtml), and then re renders the output panel, that has an ui:include.
The page is loaded fine, but any ajax in the page loaded does not work. I've read several post saying that this happens because ui:include is not a component, but a Tag handler, and that it's life cycle is different from a component. But I haven't found any solution for this yet !
Any idea on what I need to do ?

I'm 99.9% sure that the only answer is: don't use Ajax in this particular case. Its a menu, menus are used for navigation, let JSF do its regular navigation magic. But since you use Richfaces perhaps a Richfaces specific component can help you out. Such as the Richfaces dropDownMenu I spot in the showcase. If you're already using a richfaces component and you need help with it, try the actual Richfaces forum.

Dynamic ORACLE_HOME in env variable PATH not working

We have an issue whereby we want the PATH to be dyanmic with respect to the ORACLE_HOME.
Have implemented the solution in 'ORA-12557: TNS:Protocol Adapter Not Loadable' While Running OUI [ID 735400.1 but not working.
We have Windows 2008 R2 server with Oracle 11.2.0.3 client installed.
First when did set to check environment varibales, fouND no env. variable for ORACLE_HOME even though in registry so have set ORACLE_HOME as user env variable.
Have changed system env variable PATH to have %ORACLE_HOME%\bin; at very start
when do PATH to check value shows
literally as %ORACLE_HOME%\bin at start rather than translating to the real physical location as it does with other logical variables.
How can we ensure translates the ORACLE_HOME correctly so PATH is O.K.

First when did set to check environment varibales, fouND no env. variable for ORACLE_HOME even though in registry so have set ORACLE_HOME as user env variable.
Have changed system env variable PATH to have %ORACLE_HOME%\bin; at very start
when do PATH to check value shows
literally as %ORACLE_HOME%\bin at start rather than translating to the real physical location as it does with other logical variables.
How can we ensure translates the ORACLE_HOME correctly so PATH is O.K.
open Command Window & issue command belowecho %ORACLE_HOME%COPY the results, then PASTE all back here

Condition JEXC not working in Pricing procedure for Non Set Off

Hi,
     While creating PO in case of Dealer procurements i; e we are not buying the materials from the direct manufacturer but from dealer we need to have BED other than 8%(maintained in J1ID).
      I am using the condition type JEXC in the Pricing procedure which is used to overwrite the value of BASIC Excise Duty in   the Tax procedure. For this I have added JEXC in our Pricing procedure with subtotal as "5".
   JEXC value in the Condition tab becomes the value of JMO1/JMO2 in the invoice tab.
Now for Set off cased it is working fine. I used to put value in the JEXC in the condition tab other than actual 8% value and it overwrites the value of BED(JMO1/JMO2) .
But for Non set off cases it not working correctly. It overwrites the value of BED(JMO1/JMO2) correctly but the SECSS % becomes zero. Can anyone suggest me the way I can go for non set off case .

Working in Sql, not working in Stored procedure

I am puzzled about this strange working of Oracle , although I know that there is some problem with my code. I paste my code here. The delete statement is working properly in SQL Plus 8.0, but it is not working when I call this stored procedure from the Form.

Install question- blur tool not working and guided option doesn't show a menu

I bought and dowloaded PSE11. However, I don't think I disabled my virusware. It took an especially long time to download and I don't know if it downloaded correctly. My blur tool does not work and my "guided" options are not there. What is the easiest fix- unistall and remove the serial number then reistall using same serial number? My question with this is- how many times can I do this, and or is there an easier fix? I have PSE11 and LR4 and I am going back and forth between which one to use. I really need all the options to work from PSE11. I am not a great IT person so I need the answer in basic easy language to understand please:-)

The blur tool doesn't do much under the best of circumstances, so it may be working and just not making enough of a difference to see. However, for the problem with guided edit, reinstalling is probably the easiest solution at this point. Activation is tied to your hardware so you don't need to deactivate PSE if you don't want to, but it won't hurt to deactivate it. There is a limit, but for reinstalls on the same machine it's unlikely you'd ever get there, and if by some chance you did, you just contact activation support to reset things.
