Error Recognizing Standard VO in Jdeveloper.

Hi All,
I need to add tow fields at header level of a requsiition approval workflow page. I was trying to Extend a VO by getting those additional values by writing a Procedure or a function.
While trying to extend the VO, my Jdeveloper is throwing me an error that it is unable to recognize the standard VO.
I copied all the files from the server onto my local machine.
After the error, when I am trying to extend the VO, the extended VO is not showing any attributes.
VO Name : NftAttrVO
EP Name : NftEO
Its urgent, can anyone pls help me on this.

Hi,
You should have all the files related the VO NftAttrVO like all Eo xml files, and if any view links, or asscoaictions.
Open your VO. xml file and find all the dependencies.and take all the necessary xml,and class(Convert into java) files from the server nad put in the correct directory.
And before extending it you should be able to open the standard vo without any errors.
If it is a requisition workflow and header region. Cant you customize the workflow instead of OA Region. As this Vo(oracle.apps.fnd.wf.worklist.webui.NtfAttrVO) is used globally.
if you change here it may change in other notification also.

We need to add some extensions to the Customer Standard > Site Details OAF screen. I am trying to get it up and running on my local client PC in JDeveloper but i am missing the parameters needed to launch it directly. Error in Standard Program for Purchase Order

Hello Everyone,
I am getting an ABAP Dump Error while Displaying & Printing Purchase Order using TCODE : ME9F & ME23N.
We have applied new Patches.
for Logistics it is 26 & ABAP it is 58.
I am getting Error in standard INCLUDE
Program : LMEDRUCKF1K at line 64.
The Error is :- "Field "ENJPREVIEW" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement."
Declaration for "ENJPREVIEW" is also available in
include LMEDRUCKTOP. still it gives an error.
These lines of code is included by SAP note 855263.
Before applying these Patches it was working properly, but now it gives an error.
Please , Can anyone give solution for this.

Syntax error in standard program after upgrade

Hi,
After upgrade from 7.0 to 7.3, we are facing a syntax error in standard program that is used in one of our process
The error says:
The field "G_REQUIDPARENT" is unknown, but there is a field with the s"
imilar name "G_REQUID_LAST". "G_REQUID_LAST"."
The system cannot find this object inside include LRSBM_REQUEST_GUIP04, that belongs to program SAPLRSBM_REQUEST_GUI
We assume that this is associated with the upgrade but we cannot find any solution in the web. Besides, this is a standard program so we cannot perform any change directly. We look for SAP Notes to apply but we didn't find nothing worthwhile
Basically, we are receiving a dump with the error message posted above and we found the syntax error, but the thing is that we don't know how to fix it, due to the fact that is a standard program and we cannot change it
I know that SAP could remove some object reference during the upgrade, but there should be an anticipated plan to fix this kind of errors, right?
Can you shed some light on this, please ?

If you make sure there are no customization around the object and SGEN already run, I think you can just open a OSS message to SAP to looking for a fix.

I´m trying to use JSTL functions but I have the error

Please make sure that there is no other version of *"net.nrj.alf.DimensionLabel"* class present in any other Class Loader
There are various kind of Class Loaders : PreMordial Class Loader, BootStrap ClassLoader, System Class Loader (WebLogic ClassLoader), Application ClassLoader, Module Class Loader....
net.nrj.service.SearchServiceProcessor java.lang.ClassCastException: net.nrj.alf.DimensionLabel java.lang.ClassCastException: net.nrj.alf.DimensionLabel If your code is working fine in WLS9.2 it means in WLS10.3.3 the same class is getting loaded from different Class Loaders...In order to find out which classLoader is being used to load that class please do the following:

There is a Unix kernel parameter or a ulimit parameter that controls the number of files an account can have open at any given time - I suspect that this value is set too low. Pl check with your Unix sysadmin and have him/her double or triple this value and then try again. PL see ML Note 555895.1 (this note is for R12, but it lists the various kernel parameters and ulimit values).

Error Creating Work Area in JDeveloper for SCM

In the Repository Object Navigator for 9i SCM, my userID has been granted the the following permissions to a shared work area called pdshare by the owner/build manager:

However, in JDeveloper 9.0.3.1 When I create a work area from this shared work area I keep getting this error:
"BHART has insufficient privledges to Manage WorkArea".
Does anyone have suggestions for how to resolve this so that I can access the shared work area?

It's actually simple if yyou use dynamic tables and field symbols.
In the program that calls methods / attributes in the class
define some field symbols
for example

field symbols work both INSIDE and OUTSIDE classes and are extremely useful for passing / receiving data. You have to define the field symbols in your main program however.

Then in your program (or class) your data is in <dyn_table>.
Use dynamic tables and dynamic field cats as these give HUGE flexibility and you can re-use code over and over again for different structures.
The new RTTI gives you any table structure whatsoever so you can make the whole thing completely general.
That's one of the advantages of Classes and OO as opposed to older FMODS.

Getting Insufficient Privileges Error while running Pages in Jdeveloper

Hi,
When I am running my pages in JDeveloper, I am getting the Error:
"You have insufficient privileges for the current operation." and the Application login page is being shown.
Looking at the log window, I see that the system expects my page to be shown correctly. However the login screen gets displayed.
I suspected that my login/password is incorrect in Jdeveloper Project settings. But I tried that. It is finw. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be would be great.

How to custom a conversion error in JSF page in JDeveloper

According to the book "Core JavaServer Faces" p213 (fifth edition), if I add the following line to messages.properties file, and specifiy it in the faces-config.xml and .jsp file, then the displayed conversion error message should be my tailored one instead of the default. I didn't choose any special in JDeveloper IDE. I just selected "new" to create a file called "message.properties" and put the line there. I didn't specify converters excepts declaring the type in the Jave Beans. I guess the converting is done by the JSF framework automatically. It must be a JSF converter since I created the page as a JSF page.

Error(64) : invalid xpath in JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 Developer

I am migrating the BPEL Project which was desinged for the BPEL(10.1.2) to SOA Suite using the JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 Developer Preview version.
The taken the project which is buildin and deploying correctly in the BPEL Desg&ser (10.1.2).
But the same project is not compiling in the newer preview version.i got invalid xpath exception.
my xpath is like
bpws:getVariableData('inputVariable','payload','/client:commonProjectProcessRequest/client:input/ns1:listOfProducts')
if i change like this xpath, woking fine...
bpws:getVariableData('inputVariable','payload','/client:commonProjectProcessRequest/client:input')
the element defined as string in wsdl.however am expecting in runtime process will recive an xml string as a value input element so the xpath will work fine..
is the any facility turn of xpath validation while building bpel project in the jdev10.1.3.1. preview version.

Error in Creating Webservice in JDeveloper 10.1.3 EA

I'm trying to implement a java webservice using JDev 10.1.3 EA. I just create one simple class with one method returning a string. here is the class code:

after that, i do right-click on it and select "Create J2EE Webservice", and I choose J2EE 1.4 (JAX-RPC), and let JDev do its job creating several classes. I'm trying to run its WSDL file and nothing happens except string message "Oracle Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.3.0.0) - Developer Preview initialized" appears.
After that, i'm creating web service proxy by right-click on WSDL file and select "Generate Webservice Proxy" and let JDev creates several class. But when I invoke webservice by calling method

Error in standard SIT form : ORA-01403: no data found

Hi
I have created a custom responsibility and menu.
And attached the single seeded function "Enter Person Special Information" to the menu.
Whenever I try to access the function it opens the FORMS and gives the error.
ORA-01403: no data found
FRM-40735: WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06502.
Any ideas?

Please check wheather the material type of the material belongs to NLAG/UNBW or any other type which will not have qty/value updations for that plant at Attributes of the material type at SPROlOGISTICS GeneralMaterial mastermaterila types
Or take the question mark which is there on the error screen so that the information will become self explanatory.

The returned message is: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied It is likely that the login or password is not valid. It is also possible that something else is invalid in the configuration or that the database is not available.
So...
check that any DB connections you have defined have valid username/password and that the database is functioning.

I tried to test the integrated application server by doing following
right click project->Application Properties->Run->Application Server Properties->Test->Test Connection...It yield following log, even when my integrated web server was running.
