Hi,
It is really an strange error. I have researched and such an error happens when using the BAPI to release requisitions. I would suggest that you open a ticket for SAP so that someone can connect to your system.

Hi Ravi,
If you see the message "Release outside field of responsibility," it means you tried to approve a line item you are not authorized to approve. To clear the error, click to "uncheck" the incorrectly selected item and press the Enter button .
Click the Release + Save button.
SAP displays a message confirming the requisition has been changed (i.e., line item(s) have been released) and your inbox is redisplayed. The released requisition line items will be routed either to the Procurement Office or to a Level 2 approver, depending on the release strategy your department uses.

Missing version field in response...( Tomcat, JBuilder )

(Sorry for a long message, but I saw several times messages with the only
response like "write more details...")
I'm trying to execute a simple Web Start application using version-based download.
I'm constantly receiving the following error:
Missing version field in response from server when accessing resource:
(http://localhost:8083/checkboxcontrol/CheckBoxControl.jar, 1.1)
Is it possible that there is a bug somewhere within Web Start ?
The download is working in a basic version - the problem starts to occur when
I'm changing JNLP to:

I took a scan through what you posted and it looked OK - it has to be something simple. Sometimes it helps to compare against a working system - try looking at ScheduleWorld's jnlp.

I have a problem to use the version option of the webstart. All files are included into a war file (created with jar cvf xx.war *). This file is in the webapps folder of the Tomcat 5. The jar files from the dev. kit (jnlp-servlet.jar, jaxp.jar, parser.jar are in the WEB-INF/lib folder).
Every time I get the same message:

Do I need a aditional file or must Iwrite a servlet???

I put my problems down to my application server (Orion) as other people seem to have this working. The deployment in Orion keeps the original timestamps of the jars, so I explicitly set the timestamps in my build so that the unchanged jars do not have to be downloaded all the time. This is not really a good solution, so maybe someone else can give further advice.

JWS1.2 & Missing version field in response

I must say that the guys with JWS1.2 have done well in getting around the proxy issues with the previous versions. However, its disappointing to see this error still occuring when you perform a version based download which is one of the most useful pieces of functionality in JWS (see quote below) . So when a cleint has proxy issues its goodbye 'Bad MIME type error' and hello 'Missing version field in response from server when accessing resource'. Is this really progress? Surely most people use version based downloads?
Will this be fixed for 1.4.1 final and / or does anybody know of a workaround? I've included a previous quote, our jnlp, errors and stack dump below.

Version based download protocol is not available with vanila web server.
You need to either run some form of script, jsp, or a servlet such as the JNLPDownloadServlet included in the developers pack, to return the requested version, and with the version information.
If you are currently running the servlet you may still be having problem with your proxy having security settings that prohibit sending the additional version information on to the client, although I have never heard of this before.

Can you please post the complete stack trace, it seems to be some fields are getting truncated i,e data sent from the program to the proxy object might be violating some length restrictions.
Please check your message interface field lengths and what is being passed to the proxy.

Initialization Error: Failed to read POST response

Guys,
I need help, I am cloning ,y PROD DB to a test environment, I did first using my test database and it worked, but running with my PROD failed.
I am using OEMGrid Control, Wind2003, DBOracle9i, I am trying to connect using OEMGC and when start trasnfering "One datafile" via HTTP (I guess is the temp file) fialed with the error: Initialization Error: Failed to read POST response.
Please does anybody have a little idea what could happen?...please I need some guide...I will appreciate so much....Thanks

What is the size of the data file which fails during transfer? I could find one reference on Metalink where the large file size (6GB) resulted in this error but that is in Oracle 10g.

Actionscript 3 / Firefox / Mouse release outside stage

So I need to be able to detect when the user releases the
mouse button outside the stage/movie bounds. I am using
Actionscript 3 / Flash 9.
Since onReleaseOutside was nixed, and setCapture is no longer
there now that Flash 9 is final, I'm using an event listener for
mouse_up on the stage. This works sometimes... but specifically not
when running inside Firefox 2.0 on a Mac..or when wmode is set to
something non standard (opaque or transparent running on
Windows/Firefox).
This is quite critical actually, pretty easy to repro,
assuming you have Firefox and MAC. Just drag a slider component
onto your stage inside a test app. Publish, then run inside the
browser. If you drag the slider, mouse outside the movie bounds,
then release..then mouse back over movie, the slider continues to
animate - thinking you still have the mouse pressed.
I've also tried inspecting the buttonDown property of the
mouse move event..but once you've released outside the bounds of
the movie - it's always true.

UPDATE: Stumbled upon a workaround after much trial and
error. At least until they fix mouse_up.
So considering the mouseLeave event... This event is
dispatched usually as soon as your cursor leaves the bounds of the
player window. But... if you've moused down first, then dragged
outside window, the mouseLeave is not fired *until* Flash is done
tracking. In other words, until the user lets go of the mouse
button.
So now I listen for *both* mouse up and mouseLeave on the
stage object and I can reliably (cross browser), detect when the
user has released the mouse button in the case the cursor is
outside of the stage. In this scenario I only attach the mouseLeave
and mouseUp listeners on the stage after the user has first moused
down. I then remove them once I've detected the mouse up.
Still hoping for a fix, but at least this provides an
alternative (albeit sneaky) work around.

Error writing to field point

I am trying to connect Field point FP-1001 by Ni PCI-485/2 multifuction adaptor . when i start the program by Ni scope i found " ERROR WRITING TO FIELD POINT".
i have checekd the pci card and its setting is quite Ok. the picture attached for referance. please help .

Thanks for yor response. I have tried again yesterday and rectify the probelm. The confilect was between PC port 485 confirgration setting and VISA configration setting. First i treid to change setting but failed to change then i again install all the program again and tried to change the setting.this time i got successs. i per you question the driver and PCI card was installed properly.

You can get release date of PO from CDHDR table.
give object value as your po number and check.dont forget to give leading zeros.
The udate will be date field and transaction will be me29n for relaesed po.

Error with quantity field:Datasource Creation Using Function Module method

Problem with DATASOURCE Creation using Function Module method :
I have created a datasource ZSTANDARD_COST_PRICE using Function Module method . The datasource creation is successfull when I remove the quantity field from the Z table . If I dont remove the quantity field from my Z table it gives an error as "Units Field WAERS for field STPRS of datasource ZSTANDARD_COST_PRICE is hidden". I am not able to remove this error . Please someone guide.

Hi,
You should add it as one of the main fields as you have added other fields and not as the currency fields...that is..it should be part of the data source and you should be able to see it in RSO2...
Also if added as i said then it will come as new field in the data source...you can either let it be there...or hide it..
also if you want to populate it then you will have to write the code for this fields as well.

How to populate the Error stack during error records in field level routine

I am capturing the error records in Field level routine in transformation. now i want these records to reflect in error stack.
i am using 'Append monitor-rec to MONITOR' at the moment but i cant see any records in error stack.
but when i am using the same statement in start routine i am getting records in error stack.
can anyone please help as to how can i populate error stack through field level routine?

FF_5 - Import Bank Statement, Err: Formatting error in the field COBL-KOSTL

When importing the bank statement I'm getting the error
Error: (00 298) Formatting error in the field COBL-KOSTL ; see next message
Why is it doing this? In OKB9 I have the GL Account and the cost center assigned. It is the ne GL that is giving this problem, in the classic GL I do not have this problem.

No, it is not that. For some reason in the new GL it does not seem to determine the cost centers and profit centers as usual.
For exampl to allocate the Profit Center for Balance Sheet Account I used to use 3KEH in the classic gl but in the New gl we must use FAGL3KEH.
Now with cost center i'm having the same problem, does not determine the cost center when importing the bank statement.
Can someone help me.

Error in ALV : Field Does not exists in Output table .

Hi All,
In my ALV report, program get dumped and showing error when i tried to put a col named Distribution channel ion the alv.
I have put the Distribution cannel field in the IT_FInal table , but still getting folwong errors :
Error : Field Symbol is not been assigned.
As Instructed i have passed I_INTERFACE_CHECK = 'X'.
By this i am getting detail error that :
Field Distribution channel does not exists in Output table & Heading for List is missing .
But i have maintained the distribition channel in IT_Final table
Please suggest wheather we have to define dis channel in any other place.
