Error when doing checkin of content item programatically

Hi,
I am using CHECKIN_NEW and CHECKIN_SEL services for creating or updating a content item programatically.
Called these services via executeServiceSimple("CHECKIN_NEW") or executeServiceSimple("CHECKIN_SEL") api calls from my service, based on whether the content to be checked in is new or to be updated. I have set all the metadata values of the content file in the m_binder local data of the service object.
When I executed them I am getting the below error

I have printed out all the local data in the m_binder object. The primaryFile value is pointing to the right file path. The file is also been created in the correct location.
The dID, dDocName, dOriginalFile, dRevLabel values are all set properly. But still I am getting this error. I am not able to figure out the cause of this. Please help. Is this approach incorrect?

I'd use CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL & add primaryFile:path to the binder.

We are receiving the following error upon publishing non-binary content items to the knowledge directory:
Error occurred while publishing the content item to the Knowledge Directory. Contact your portal administrator.
Ironically, in the KD, we call see all content items located in Publisher when we are in Edit mode -- even though they haven't been published to the KD yet. In Browse mode, we can't see any content items.
Has anyone see this error before? What could be the cause?
We are using ALUI 6.1.

If you are seeing the documents in the Knowledge Directory and in edit mode, but not browse mode then check/try the following. What exactly were you doing when you got the error? Were you in Publisher or in the Knowledge Directory and running the Simple Submit task?:
1. Try to approve the documents in edit mode.
2. Go to the Administrative->Intrinsic Operations and run the following jobs.
--> Search Update 1
3. Make sure you have proper permissions on the folder in the Knowledge Directory and Publisher Folders.
4. Check the permissions on the Content Source for the Knowledge Directory
I need a little more information to get your better help.

After upgrade SP-Crawl Error: The SharePoint item being crawled returned an error when attempting to download the item.

Hi All - After the upgrade, I am getting SP-Crawl Error for certain links. I check the Crawl component has proper permission.
Google is showing some article like

not sure if this resolution is referring to 2010 and/or 2013.

Access denied error when user saves updated list item

After upgrading a site collection from Sharepoint 2010 to 2013, users with Contribute and Manage Lists permissions cannot save changes to items in lists. All permissions appear to be inherited correctly by the list and when running a permission check for
the user it returns the expected results. I also tried setting the list to use custom permissions but that didn't help. The logs show the following error when trying to save an item:
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
A Sharepoint Designer form is used to edit the items so I don't know if that is related to the issue. After the upgrade the form would not load and was giving a different error until I opened it in Designer 2013 and saved it again. Editing items as a farm
administrator user works OK.

According to your description, my understanding is that the users cannot update the list items after migrating to SharePoint 2013.

This is taken from that article:
"Users who submit valid credentials when accessing the migrated web application might be notified that they do not have permissions. If this occurs, the portalsuperuseraccount property and the portalsuperreaderaccount property of the web application
were probably configured prior to migration. If this is the case, update the portalsuperuseraccount property and the portalsuperreaderaccount property to use the new claims-based account name. After migration, you can find the new claims-based account name
in the web application policy for the migrated web application."
Please update these accounts use the following PowerShell script to see if the issue still occurs:
$webApp = Get-SPWebApplication "http://<server>/"
$webApp.Properties["portalsuperuseraccount"] = "i:0#.w|domain\superuser"
$webApp.Properties["portalsuperreaderaccount"] = "i:0#.w|domain\superreader"
$webApp.Update()

TS1702 I got this error when doing a restore

I got this error when doing a restore and the restrictions were turned on . I disabled restrictions and the restore was able to complete.

The error in itunes had a link to http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702. I placed this message here for anyone that might navigate to the same message and would hopefully find this. Yes turning off restrictions allowed the restore to complete and everyone is now happy.

WebDAV error when doing a client push ConfigMgr 2012 R2

Hi everyone, I am getting an error message when doing a client push, only on some DPs.
Here is the setup:
ConfigMgr 2012 R2 on Server 2012 R2.
DP are on Server 2008 R2 (for the most part).
DP are installed using the exact same way, adding the Primary Site Server to the local Admins group, then using the console to install the role, selecting BranchCache and Configure IIS.
No PXE.
Boundary groups are configured as appropriate.
When initiating a client push the following errors are displayed in the CCMSetup.log:
Failed to correctly receive a WEBDAV HTTP request.. (StatusCode at WinHttpQueryHeaders: 401)
Failed to check url http://DPServerName.com/SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/S0100003. Error 0x80004005
Enumerated all 1 local DP locations but none of them is good. Fallback to MP.
GET 'HTTP://MPServerName.com/CCM_Client/ccmsetup.cab'
The installation is done but yet again, no local DP are used.
The same scenario is actually working on other DP that was configured using the same exact way.
Servers where not new installation and where used for other things:
MDT Deployment Share with PXE.
Other share.
As far as I can tell, IIS is well configured as I am able to deploy any other software on clients and they are using the local DP. Only the client installation is causing problem.
Anyone have any idea?
There is a lot of post about a similar problem on ConfigMgr 2007 but all solution are to configure WebDAV, which is not configured in ConfigMgr 2012.

I did double checked with a friend about my configuration and everything, just to make sure, and everything seems to be right.
As for the use of account used to get the client, a domain join computer will not need to us the network access account if the DP is in the same domain and the same exact config on other servers is working like a charm deploying the client, same
security and configuration.
All default IIS security and share permission.

Error when viewing documents from content server

hi all,
I have a question.
we have installed an SAP Content Server on Windows 2003 server, and have connected it to our SAP ECC 5.00 ERP. The purpose is so that documents that are attached to a transaction (through Generic Objects Services - Create Attachment), get stored onto the content server rather than the SAP database. We have done all the necessary configuration in oac0, oact, and SKPR08. We are able to attach a document to the transaction, and it gets stored onto the content server. Our issue is when viewing the attachment.
This is the error we are getting as soon as we try to view the attachment:
"Windows cannot find c:\documents and settings\<username>\SAPWorkDir\<filename>. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."
After pressing OK to the message, the system then gives this error:
"File could not be exported
Message no. SO315
Diagnosis
You have selected either the Export function or a PC document to be exported from the system. The file could not be exported to the
PC. Possible reasons:
1. The file is already open and is being used by an application.
2. The directory to which the file is to be exported is write-protected.
Procedure
In the first case, close the application.
In the second case, remove the write-protection attribute from the directory or enter another directory."
Why is the system trying to open the file from the user's C:\ drive?
Does anyone have a solution to this error?

I would like to know how to disable the personalization that I have made but can't get to it because whenever I try to open the notification I get the above error. Can anyone please tell me how to disable the new item that I created so I can fix the error?

I thought I knew what was wrong. When I had created the new item I had put 'Charge Account' in the View Attribute field but the field was actually called CHARGE_ACCOUNT. I have now changed this but I still get this error:

What I don't understand is why the error says "Definition CHARGE_ACCOUNT of type Attribute not found in ReqLinesNotificationsVO" when I am creating the item using view instance of "XXReqLinesNotificationsVOExt which is the name of my VO extension.
Can anyone help please?

Error when doing importing with impdp

Hi,
I tried to do export then import the schema from and to same schema. However, when doing export with expdp everything was okay.
Problem begins when I tried to do importing by using impdp. I also tried to drop the current schema and created the new one but it still doesn't work.
If I didn't drop the current schema, it logs looks like this

The source schema is on USERS tablespace (default). The destination schema I tried to put on the same tablespace but it doesn't work. However when I changed the destination tablespace, it also doesn't work.

Runtime Error when doing a Network migration

I get a Visual C++ Runtime error on DesktopDNA.exe (abnormal program
termination)
- It happens when I am doing a network migration (with and without crossover
connection)
- The moment I choose Current User or when I choose next after choosing the
user in Multiple Users
- It works on other machines, could it be something to do with the user
account I am trying to migrate?

create - and it errored when I choose Current User.

Deployment of upgraded site from staging to production - error when trying to access "Content and Structure"

Hi,
We recently upgraded a site from SP 2010 to SP 2013. For moving to production, I copied over the content database to production and used the following command to to make the content database accessible in production:
Mount-SPContentDatabase -Name 'WSS_Content_SSBC' -WebApplication 'https://biprod.bljc.com'
I then change the host name of the site from staging to production host name using
$site = Get-SPSite https://stagingsite.companyname.com
$site.Rename("https://prodsite.companyname.com")
The site loads and I can see my content. But when I try to use the "Content And structure" link under "Site Settings" --> "Site administration"
I receive the following errror:

As the Content and Structure is enabled by the SharePoint Publishing feature, I recommend to deactivate and re-activate the publishing feature with the command below to see if the issue still occurs:
Disable-SPFeature –identity Publishing -URL <sitecollection url>
Enable-SPFeature -Identity Publishing -url <sitecollection url> -Force

Error when doing material transfer

when doing material transfer from plant 0001 to plant 0002, error pops up :

Use XD02( Customer Master Record ) and GOTO -- Genera Data TAB and select Control Tab and under control tab u will find in top VENDOR field.
and for VENDOR Master Record use XK02 and select Control TAB under which at top u will find CUSTOMER FIELD.,

Error when trying to view purchased items in app store

My ipad has an error when trying to view my "purchased" items in app store, keeps "Loading...." for a while and then close the app.
All the other options works well (featured, top charts, genius, updates...)
I already turn off / on the ipad many times, same problem....

I have the same problem with my iPhone 4s! Need a solution from Apple!

CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE using lsmw idoc method .iam getting error as Document type not defined but actually when iam creating document manually item is created with out any error that means it is defined and my functional consultant is also saying he defined document type.can some body explain me what is the problem.

As you are using the Idoc method, is the Partner profile correctly defined.
Please could you elaborate your error in a bit more detail.
