Get IIS to respect the script timeout of CF

Hi , how can I get IIS to respect the script timeout in CF if the timeout is longer in CF?

Not sure what you mean. One of the timeouts will have to take place before the other. If you want the CF timeout to take precedance then set it shorter than the IIS timeout. ????

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

Issue with script timeouts - trying to send email mail shots - hosting recommendations?

Background is this - I look after a site for a recruitment agency, which has a backend mySQL database.
It includes a table of potential candidates, which the site owner can search based on various criteria and then send all the returned candidates an email about potential jobs they might be interested in.
I'm using an off the shelf script to send the emails, and have jumped through a few hoops to get this to work, but it looks like we need to move hosting unfortunately.
The script is able to limit emails so that the hosting company doesn't get black flagged as a spammer.
I've set it up with a progress bar in a new window so the site owner can see progress, but easily get back to the rest of the site.
But where we have come unstuck is the script timeout on the server - so even though its set to send emails slowly enough, ie under 500 emails an hour, because of that slow pace, it fails if it takes more then five minutes to send them all as the script times out.
My understanding is that the script includes a line to reset the script timeout value to 0, so enabling the script to keep running until all the emails have been sent. But unfortunately our current hosting company does not allow the script timeout to be reset at the PHP level.
So my question is this - is anyone doing anything similar, and if so, can you recommend any hosting company that does allow the script timeout to be reset at the PHP level?
Because at the minute it seems like a frustrating catch-22 - slow it down to get around the spam issue, and it won't run long enough to send all the emails. Speed it up, and it falls foul of the script timeout.
Any advise on this, or hosting suggestons most welcome!

Although there is an AppleScript Forum, Automator can run AppleScripts, so sometimes things can go in either forum. In your script, other than not setting a recipient, you are just getting one of the persons. You need to get a list of your contact information, then build your outgoing messages from that list - for example:

Cleanup FrontPage HTML Script Timeout

I am havingone heck of a time with the script in thr
extension titled
Cleanup FrontPage HTML. My website has almost 1850 pages and
the script seems to do an OK job stripping the FrontPage HTML. My
problem is that I want to strip the FrontPage HTML from the whole
site and, after about 155 pages, I get a dialog box with a message
saying that the script has been running a longtime and asking me if
I want to continue. When I click the Yes button in the dialog box
indicating that I want to continue, the script does NOT continue.
It merely pops up again with the same question a minute or two
later. It simply stays on the same webpage and doesn't process any
more pages.
How can I process ALL of my pages with this script without
getting a message that the script has been running a long time?

You have a mixture of things going on... AS3 code in an AS2 setting. Those are all AS2 error messages, and they are indicating you have placed the code on the buttons. To use that code, it must be placed on the timeline, and your Flash Publish Settings need to have AS3 specified instead of AS2. AS3 does not allow code to be placed on objects like AS2 does.

The address beginning with file:/// denotes a saved file (local file). The file may not be present. You can try dragging the site icon of this page on the left edge of the location (Address) bar and release it on the desktop. Please try opening it. If it still shows an error it could be a problem with the system's zone permissions. You can try setting each zone in the Windows Control Panel or IE > '''Internet Options''' > '''Security''' tab to '''Default Level'''.

How to get the script of a table or view in SQL Developer?

Dear friends/expert,
Could you tell me how to get the script for a view or a table easily in SQL Developer like pressing F4 in TOAD?
I found that I can press SHIFT+F4 for a view in SQL Developer and get the script of the view in Details Tab. But how to move the script to SQL worksheet to edit? It is very easy to do in TOAD.
And I didn't find a way to get the script for a table till now. Is there any way to do that?

4. If your request gets accepted, still another year or two may go by until the functionality gets added. For sure you'll be better off writing a user defined extension or report (querying DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL).

Sorry that you are having a problem with the script error.
Try to clear your CACHE and COOKIES on your internet.
Are you able to print from another program, such as Firefox, Google chrome, etc?

Ideal way to report on Nested Groups and their Members - I can get the script to work if there's one group, but not if there is two or more

I like to keep track of Groups and Users added into our Domain Admins. Yes, it should always be minimal, but if I can have a daily report just to be certain, I'll sleep better.
The following works just fine if there is a single nested group. I cannot get it to work properly if there is more than one. I'm hoping you'll see what I'm missing.
Works fine:
$admins = get-adgroupmember "domain admins"
foreach($i in $admins){if($i.objectClass -eq "group"){ get-adgroupmember $i.samaccountname |foreach {New-Object PSObject -Property @{ username = $_.name;Group = $($i.name)}} | select username,group | export-csv c:\Users_and_Groups.csv -Notypeinformation}}
Does not work well. Result is that the "Group" information doesn't change to the correct group:
$myCol=@()

I tried shortening up the one-liner a bit more, but for some reason the "RMSysAdmins" is the only Group listed even though Leia and Han are in the MarketingPSO Group:

I keep getting error messages that a script "may have stoped responding", The script in question is "contentAreaUtils.js".

I just updated to FireFox v3.6.8, after using v3.5 successfully for many months. With the new version I keep getting error messages that a script "may have stopped responding", The script in question is "contentAreaUtils.js". My OS is Win2k SP4, with 253,424 KB RAM.
Is there a known fix. If not, is there an easy way to revert to FireFox v3.5 ?

I get this pop up screen continuously on my screen. Ever since I switched to Firefox, I was using Safari. The only other Apps open are my Mac Mail and Finder.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Getting "The server {85DE1C45-2C66-101B-B02E-04021C009402} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout." on WinXP machine

I have a windows service written in .Net which access a COM component(This conponent is also written by me).
The COM component launches Acrobat and uses it for generating Thumbnail files.
I get following error is logged into event viewer when CreateDispatch("AcroExch.App", &e)) line is exicuted.
Error Message: The server {85DE1C45-2C66-101B-B02E-04021C009402} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
This problem occurs only when the windows service run under a specified user account say "TestUser". i.e if service runs under "Local System" account then everything works fine.
Also this problem only occurs on WinXP machine. i.e same thing on Windows2003 server works fine.
I have given all required permissions for "TestUser" on AcroExch.AVDoc and AcroExch.PDBookmark using dcomcnfg.
Any help will be appriciated.

If this does not hellp, I recommend performing an in -place upgrade of your OS.
